Name: Qin
Age: They claim to be 300+ but looks like they're 23
Race: Beastkin(Dragon)
1668264015832.png
Magic:
Lightning: A breath weapon based off of dragons. They quite literally can pull a murder-death-sneeze. As a small side effect they often spit sparks when they sneeze/cough.
Passive
Flight: While their wings are most commonly tucked underneath clothing or folded up against their back when not in combat, they can fly.
Lightning Resistance: Gifted by the fact they're a draconian beastkin, they can resist the elements.
Scales: Gives them natural armor. Very useful if someone steps on your tail. Not so useful when someone stabs you with a dragonslaying sword.

Appearance: (picture and description)
Qin is a 6' 7'' draconian beastkin, with gold-tinted eyes and pale hair. Their wings are often folded up, but when unfurled they span roughly 14ft, give or take. Their scale color ranges from pale white to gold to light green, with some even edging towards extremely pale blue. Qin has golden antlers that they take great pride in keeping. A serpentine tail curls behind them and their fingernails end in claws, but normally they are kept trimmed or covered with gloves.

Skills:
Nature: They're quite proficient with animals, and surprisingly skilled at foraging(when they don't accidentally sneeze and burn things up, that is). They're capable of surviving in the wilderness if tossed out there alone.
Herbal Knowledge: They do know how to cook and make other concoctions with natural herbs.
Polearm Mastery: With their wings and their agility, Qin's fighting style often consists of them hovering just out of reach, using both their elemental magic and their flight in combat. Their favored weapon is a spear, trident, glaive, or any polearm really.
Range-Combatant: While they don't really like it(you can't breathe fire through arrows!), they can still shoot just fine.
Primal Savagery: Given their draconic heritage, they can fight hand-to-hand, even if they don't like it.
Perception: Does exactly what is says on the tin. They can perceive stuff with perception.
Draconian Build: Given their heritage and size, Qin is well more than capable of handling themself in combat. While they still detest direct hand-to-hand combat and prefer medium ranged fights with polearm weapons, they certainly won't die if dropped in it.
Step of the Wind: Even by the standards of dragonkin, Qin is fast and well-adapted to the wilds. They tend to fade into the background during fights, and if they cannot de-escalate the situation, they can always retreat from it.

Flaws:
Pyrophobia: No matter what you may try, no one can convince them from being skittish around fire. Doesn't really help that they sneeze sparks.
Socially Awkward: Qin is blunt, and has quite a bit of difficulty understanding other emotions. Sometimes they, pardon my french, irrevocably "fuck up" in a social scenario which does not involve setting things on fire.
Reptilian Mindset: Whether this is due to their reptilian nature or anything of the sort, Qin often is seen as emotionless, blunt, pessimistic and deadpan when they honestly believed they were being helpful.
Overly Loyal/Trusting/Easily Manipulated: They would fight for anyone that befriends them, no matter how terrible. They would literally follow their friends to the ends of the world, no matter how poorly said friend may treat them, nor what their "friend" demands them to do.
Compliant: They're more or less a complete walkover against their allies, only putting up minimal resistance against those that they think are "friends". To be blunt, they are completely unwilling to 'rock the boat'. They fight mainly for their allies, holding little loyalty beyond the bonds of perceived "friendship".

Gear: Backpack, Rope(4), extra gloves, modified clothing, Medicine Kit, Alchemist's kit, Armor(adjusted for wings and tail), glaive, spears(2), longbow, bedroll, mess kit, tinderbox, rations (15), waterskin(2), arrows(60 total split in two quivers)

Background check: A friend dragged them along and they didn't really mind.

Name: Ahno Naza
Age: 28
Race: human
Appearance:
shiki.jpg
Ahno stands at 5ft10 with a strong athletic body and dark brown hair. A handsome man turned rugged from battle and travel, most notably a large diagonal scar from a monsters tail whipping his face. Generally appears as a hunter or traveller.

Magic: Dark Mana.
20200429_110414.jpg
Dark Mana is considered uncommon in humans, Ahno practiced in childhood and learned from monsters with similar magic. While darkness can't harm one like fire or ice would, darkness is a extremely versatile mana to hone. From obscuring vision with clouds of darkness or hiding one's identity or even entirely in shadows, Ahno copied the monstrous Nightspawn learning to create and throw shadows in a physical form capable of binding.

Skills:
Dark/shadow Magic, Ahno's most reliable tool for survival. Training and practicing with the mana he was born with to extreme measures. As a "dark mage" Ahno would be considered a genius, however the man is lacking in most factors when it comes to magic beyond his inherent control.

Archery, born in the wilds and taught to hunt at a young age. Accurate to a scary degree.

Close quarter combat, as a teenager Ahno was recruited into the Phantom blades. Taught to fight with daggers, short swords and a martial art known as "Scorpion Style" suited to quick strikes and counters.

Sneaky, even without the magic Ahno is a sly sort.

Stringed instruments, it's a hobby.

Lives of the land, raised in the wilds you pick up what's safe to eat and where to find it.

Flaws:
Addict, will drink eat and smoke anything for a buzz even if on a mission.
Bit of a dumbass, not the most gifted intelligence wise. No master plans from this man.
Fear of deep water/Merwhips, it was large seasnakes that gave Ahno the scar across his face and a near death experience drowning.

Gear:
Armor, leathers made from monsters an steel like the picture.
Bow and arrows, three daggers, one for stabbing one for cutting and one named "swordbreaker" designed in a way specifically to catch and snap blades.

Background check:
Ahno was born in the wilds of the badlands in a nomad tribe. Raised and trained by many before leaving the tribe to pursue more. After a few months of odd jobs word spread of a spellsword hunter and Ahno was scouted by the Phantom blades... After two years of training Ahno was given his first mission. "Murder the Axe hero" while it was a hard fought battle Ahno returned unharmed and as worked as a assassin for the PB's ever since.
