  • 20 March 2020. It didn't seem different from any other day, but this day was a very special day for several reasons. The first reason it was the start of spring! A time of new life starting. The second reason, it is equinox! Day and night will last exactly 12 hours. After this day the days will slowly get longer and longer and the nights will be shorter and shorter all until midsummer, but that is still some time from now. And thirdly, this is one of the four days a year the portals of hell are open! And that is the main reason this is such an important day, for the royals, the young heirs, will travel to Earth to find their servants in the hopes to start their reign over their Kingdom of Sin!

20 March 2020 is a lovely Friday. The Royalties of Hell have made their appearance at the castle in the course of the day. Their portals hidden behind the rich tapestries in the castle. Now it is 18:00 (6PM). Night has fallen and their servants are about to arrive. No matter from where the humans are coming and whether it is through the use of normal transportation or magic, they find themselves at the gates of the castle. Probably hungry and tired, since it has been a long travel and it is dinner. Let's hope the demons have something prepared for them!

    Things you need to know:
    - It is 18:05 (6:05 PM) right now.
    - Demons have arrived prior to this time and more or less settled in the castle.
    - Humans will arrive between now and the upcoming hour.
    - Fridge and freezer are fully stocked (new delivery of groceries will be made on Monday and then Thursday).
    - Castle is in the mids of France, at least one hour (by car) travel from anything remotely human.
    - Room pairings are based on the past, but say nothing for the future (next tab).
    - Current temperature is around 9°C (48°F), it will lower to 3°C (37°F) at night.
    - Current weather: no wind, few clouds, no rain, no mist.
    - Sun is going down and the waning cresent moon is coming up (new moon: 24/25 March).

Today was the day, they would all travel to Earth. The day he would have to leave his comfortable shadows behind. He looked at his parents that were standing with him in the throne room. For a moment, his eyes moved to that dark ebony throne. Right now, still very much a focal point of his desires, though he knew that end of the trip that desire would be taken away. For then the throne would be his and whatever was his, he quickly lost interest in. The curse of being the prince of Envy. Yet this was not the moment to be miserable about his life, his sin as it was time to say goodbye. "Your father and I are sure you will find someone worthy," his dad spoke with a gentle tone. His father stood next to his dad. Arm around the smaller males waist. "Chose someone for yourself, Nicholas," the demon spoke, "now go and obtain what is ment to be yours and no one elses."

The shadows swirled and gently purred as the portal came to life. Black smoke licking around the frames, like a dark mist threatening to spill out. "Thanks dad," he said as he hugged the Rhaelrdson-male back. He gave a nod towards his father. "I shall, father," he spoke, more formally. He wouldn't though. His mind was made up. He was just gonna steal Prides interest and do the deed. Once that was done, he could return home and make himself comfortable with the shadows. "Well then, here goes nothing," he hummed to himself as he stepped through the portal. Despite how it looked the shadows were warm. It was like a very nice blanket was surrounding him, though only for a few moments as he stepped into a rather bright room. He moved his hand up rather protective of his eyes. Ball room, he slowly realized as he looked around. He turned around, but the portal was gone. In its place there was a black reflecting wall. His normally bloodcolored eyes had dulled down to amber now, adjusted to the human world.

For a moment Nicholas looked over his human appearance. He hardly used it when he was in Tenebris, so it was a bit weird? His hand slid through the dark hair as he combed it back. His clothes he wore were of course black, though the shirt of a sheer slight see through material. He didn't grant himself too much time to admire himself, after all he was not Pride or Lust. Instead he decided to look through the castle a bit more, wandering around aimlessly as he noticed some rooms with golden names, yet his own he had not found. Not that he was really searching for it. He wondered if any of his fellow heirs had arrived yet. Sloth would probably be late to the party, so he didn't expect him yet. Lust was always eager, so he might be around. Pride, Greed and Wrath, he couldn't really make any assumption for. Gluttony was probably the same story as Sloth, but because he was (over)eating or indulging himself in something else.

Nicholas was familiar with most other royals, due to their annual meetings. Though further than that he didn't have much contact with the others. None of them seemed to ever want to travel down to Tenebris, so why would he come up to their places? Most of them too hot or too bright for him anyway. He sighed as he stood by one of the windows that overlooked the lake. The sun was slowly going down and it was finally time for the night, during which he would be more active. He mostly took on a nocturnal life when on Earth to avoid the sun. He smiled as it seemed like the first human was to arrive. He turned around and quickly went down the stairs to the living room. Despite not looking forward to bond and all that hassle, he couldn't help his curious nature. So he curled up in the leather chair that was closest to the fireplace, where a nice fire was going on. He stretched out, before getting fully comfortable and every now and then glancing towards the door, waiting for who ever would join them. "Welcome to Château Montbrun," Nicholast spoke rather cheerful, "I hope you had a pleasant travel?"

There was a wide grin on his face. He was so excited to go to this ballet bootcamp. Mikhail had ended up not traveling home after all, but rather staying with the other dancers. Of course, he had told no one about this adventures. Except for his agent and his managers. They hadn't heard of the place or bootcamp either, but they had fully supported his choice to go. For him the only weird thing was that it was adressed to his original name. Do'barne... Maybe it was some half sister or perhaps even full sibling that had found out about his existance and wanted to meet up? However why go through all this effort as they could just message him on facebook, or something like that? None of those questions and concerns matter anymore, since he was on the way now. For quite a few hours honestly. His plane had just landed in Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Misha, as most people called him, waited for his bag. It had a two new changes of clothes and all his dancing gear. He was so looking forward to this experience. He grabbed the sports bag and hoisted it over his shoulder. For a moment he was out of balance, though that was not only to blame on the bag. He should have eaten something more this morning, but he honestly had not managed anything more than one bite. He would eat something when he was at the bootcamp. If possible. He was also very curious who else would be there. It would just be nice to meet other dancers from all over the world. No matter what, this would be a rather unique experience. He grinned to himself as he went to the cabs and flagged one down. "Excuse me, could you bring me to this address?" he asked. The driver looked at him as if he was crazy. He said something in quick French and then just waved him away.

The young male looked into the direction he was waved. "There is-" The driver had already let a young couple in and was driving off. Well, French people were not known for their hospitality that much was obvious. He walked up to the next cab driver and told them the address. Again, the reaction was not much different. Though at least this driver quickly acted like he was done with the day. Misha saw him pick up some other people a bit down the road though. He picked out his phone and googled the address again. Perhaps they were directing him to the trainstation? It was indeed quite far with the car. Still a four hour drive. He started to follow the google map directions towards the trainstation, though nothing was translated in English. The French way too proud for that. "Sir," he asked when he found another cab, "I really need to go to this address."

Mikhail shuddered a bit with the look the male gave him. His eyes looked..weird, almost as if the male was absentminded. Or drunk. "Of course, I will take you there," the male spoke, just as he was about to say he needed no help. Misha bit his lower lip. This was the only person so far willing to help him. He looked at the cab. Shabby people didn't drive nice Mercedes right? So he got into the back of the cab after all. He got his book out of his bag and started reading, luckily the driver wasn't much of a talker.

He must have drifted off at some point. Traveling always made him tired. Since for his feeling they pulled up to the huge castle only minutes later and not four hours. Yet it was the right place, since it looked identical to those on the pictures. "Thank you," he said. He got his wallet out to pay, but the old man simply held his hand up. He shook his head and got into his cab and drove away before he was even able to hand him the money. Misha looked after the car a bit confused, before he shrugged. Well then, if he didn't want the money... He hoisted his bag onto his shoulder again and made his way onto the country yard. It looked like a true authentic castle. He quite liked it to be honest. He looked at the many doors he could chose from to enter and decided to go straight ahead, passed the well and into what seemed to be one big dance room, or better said a ball room. "Hello?" he called out. It seemed weird that there was no one around? Though he was early. They were suppose to meet at 19:00 according to the invitation and it was a bit past 18:00 now.

Calag Isagani Buenaventura

"Father." He spoke from the other side of the door. He could hear the bed creaking even when there is a thick door in between them. Do you plan on sending me off or are you....?" The creaking stopped, he could hear a momentary shuffling until it opened to reveal his parents. He smiled mischievously, "father, mother. Having a good time?" His father's face was dark and his mother could only give a flustered look. "Until you ruined it!" Asmodeus voiced boomed throughout the hallway before giving out a hearty laugh. "As much as I would have wanted to ignore you this is a big day."

Asmodeus gave his son a pat in the back, his wife came closer and gave her son a tight hug. "Now get going and find yourself a suitable servant." Suddenly Isagani was sucked into a portal, the sight of his parents going back in while he got transported to the castle. His feathers was gone and his feet weren't that of a bird's anymore. A framed painting from his side showed him the form he always used whenever he went to Earth. "Damn, I really look good." He smirked but enough playing for now, he had to scout the players and if the competition is here.

He turned into a small bird, flying around the castle and spying from the windows. He noticed that the Prince of Envy is here, Isagani often finds him to be... well, let's just say he doesn't like him as much as the other royals. He shifted back into his human form after flying through a window. He walked around taking note of the hallways and rooms before hearing a "Hello" echo out from the Ballroom.

"Well, aren't you a bit too early for the party?" He said to the man, even if the man looked like a teenager. He stepped closer and offered his most charming smile, "Welcome to Château Montbrun." He gestured his arms open wide to give a dramatic flair. "My name is Calag Isagani Buenaventura, one of the people you will be staying with." He said with a wink, the flirty kind.

The time had finally arrived for the Music workshop Colt had been invited to. While normally a sceptical individual he decided to go with his heart in this one. A chance to work with music over anything else for a while and with like minded people too. His siblings did complain that he spent too much time in his own head or online. Perhaps some socialisation would do him some good...

Even if he had changed his mind it would be a bit late now. Not only had he already gotten off the plane from london to France a flight he had almost missed by dozing off in a bench at the airport but he was now in a taxi towards his final destination, which also already took a long time as he wasnt exactly the most graceful at speaking French and noone had a clue what he wanted. He spent most of the journey in the taxi with his headphones on listening to some music as he watched the beautiful scenery go by. He would have stuck in another nap here for these few hours if he could. He hadn't slept much at all leading up to the date for the trip despite help from a handful of different meds and that hour snooze in the airport was probably the best sleep he had gotten in the past few days if he were honest. The best he could do he supposed was just rest his mind...

Finally the taxi at the entrance to the castle or rather at the gate of the place. Unlucky for Colt he never did get that second nap in the taxi so it was a long sit and now his taxi driver decided that Colt could manage the long driveway himself. He didn't know enough french to even ask for the driver to maybe drive a bit closer to the actual place. Oh well. Getting out of the taxi he grabbed his bag and pulled it over his shoulder. Waving the Taxi off before heading towards the building...This is were his workshop was being held? A big spooky castle? He narrowed his eyes at the building a little. The acoustics could be interesting in that kind of place he supposed. He looked like he had just done a serious workout by the time he had made it up the long driveway that was more exercise than he was expecting today. Stopping infront of the door first Colt ruffled his light coloured hair with his hand, to fix it a little before stepping inside. The place looked empty... was he the first here? He was expecting something involving music to seem more...lively?

"Hello?" His voice called as he placed around the hallway bag still in hand but stopped upon passing the doorway to the living room and hearing a voice calling back rather cheerfully, his sleepy looking gaze that little bit more alert for a moment. "Uh... Thanks. I almost missed my flight but it was fairly okay. " he answered back as he stepped towards the doorway now and peeked through it. The man inside seemed to be the only one there so far and didnt exactly look like the kind of musicians Colt was expecting to meet here...if that's what was even going on. He was starting to feel a little suspicious somehow, something about this was...off? His pale blue gaze seemed to scan the room before settling back to the man that was making himself comfortable on one of the leather chairs "I'm not at the wrong spooky looking castle am I?" He asked as a sort of half joke, Because he was genuinely concerned he had gotten some info messed up somehow. "I was expecting more people...or something" he added as he now fully stepped into the room... Maybe he was just super early?

Mara huffed as she looked over what she had packed already. She felt it wasn't enough. But one would argue it was too much. Who knew how long it would take her to pick a servant. What if none of them were to her liking? Or what if she was not to their liking. This was going to be a difficult task, why complicate things? Just bring a servant here! This mutual decision nonsense could take forever. She narrowed her eyes a little in thought before hearing a voice from behind her. "Princess. It's almost time for you to go to earth. Are you still making up your mind on what to bring?" A maid asked as Mara seemed to pause "Ah...yes. I think I need another moment..." she answered as the Maid bowed a little and left only to stand outside the door.

Truth be told she was pretty much finished...now she was just stalling. Going to earth? She barely knew what it was like. She had never even met a human before. She was too busy trying to stick out amongst her siblings to be picked for the job. With so many above her she had been working on it since she was old enough to hold a decent conversation. Going to Earth wasn't on her agenda thus far and as much as she would hate to admit it, leaving her home unnerved her. She paused at that thought. Mentally scolding herself. An Heir afraid to leave home. What a ridiculous thing. If her siblings got word of this she would be ridiculed harshly. With a huff she straightened her posture. It was just earth. They were just humans and she had met the other heirs before. She would not show so much of an ounce of being uncomfortable. With that she marched towards the doorway and made her way to the throne room to bid farewell to her parents.

Reaching the throne room she spotted the two standing to wait for her. She offered a quick bow. "Mara. I hope you will do well not to embarrass us or come home empty handed. I don't want to find out I made the wrong decision" He answered with a dismissive wave of his hand. Not much of a goodbye but she supposed more than she expected from them. Her parents were known for acquiring many children but having very little interest on any of them. This led to constant fighting for success and attention between them all and had bred a rather bitter relationship between each of the Adesso children. "Yes. I will not disappoint, I promise" she answered with a gentle lowering of her head before she was teleported off.

Earth was brighter for a start, even if the sun was setting. The demon squinted her amber gaze as she glanced out the window. The portal she had came through had closed right away so there was no going back now. It had lead her to one of the unused rooms of the castle. Getting her eyes adjusted to the light first she had then decided to leave the room and begin down the corridor, mostly just trying to figure out the layout of the place as she did so. She assumed she had been late so she was surprised she hadn't ran into anyone right away. Perhaps the building was just big enough.

She continued until she could hear voices deciding to follow them they had lead her to the ballroom. Or that's what she assumed it was. She spotted what looked to be a teenage boy as she peeked around the doorway...were the servants really that young? Her gaze then stopped at a more familiar figure as she stepped into the room, the sound of her shoes on the dancefloor announcing her arrival before her voice did. The prince of Lust, she probably got along with him the easiest out of the Heirs so far...though spotting him made her wonder if Nic was here... What? Why was she wondering that? Who cared if he was here or not! At least she'd repeat that lie to herself for now. Despite her thoughts taking a detour briefly she offered a smile to the Prince "Calag!" She greeted as she walked in offering the boy a nod and a smile in greeting too.

Nevara Elvira
Nevara scowled as one of her mother’s handmaidens alerted her it was time to go. Nevara snapped her teeth at the weak little devil, causing the girl to scurry from the room like a frightened mouse. The day had come too fast, and now she was leaving to find a Servant she could not want less. She was excited to visit Earth once more, to enjoy wine and fine meals and receive amusement as she watched the other Sins scramble to gain the favor of one of the seven children from the seven Servant bloodlines. It was going to be especially amusing to see what Envy would do. After all, he was Envy; how would he ever choose a Servant when he would constantly just want to steal what the others showed interest in? It was certainly going to be fun to watch. However, despite all the positives of this trip, the negative was still daunting and inevitable. As her mothers’ only daughter, she was the Kingdom’s only possible Heir, and she therefore must bond with a Servant. She would return home with one of the seven children on her arm, no matter how much she desired to avoid it.

Nevara didn’t bother to hide her scowl as she left her room and made her way to the portal where her mother, the Queen, and her mom, Eilena, a Child of the Floresola family, waited for her. Kalí wore a matching scowl, heavily displeased by her daughter’s lack of desire to inherit her throne, but Eilena smiled at her, patting her arms and wishing her well. “Return soon, my daughter,” she said, and then she guided Nevara through the portal. The Princess closed her eyes as the warmth and magic enveloped her, opening them once she felt it dissipate. Slowly opening her eyes, she breathed in the wonderful scent of Earth’s crisp air, and turned to the wall, looking in the mirror at her human form. She had always preferred her human form over her demon form, but it became difficult to hold it for long periods of time when enveloped in the demonic magic of Gula, so she enjoyed spending her time in it when on Earth.

Brushing her hands down the gorgeous royal purple dress she wore, Nevara grinned, then looked around the hallway she’d emerged into. She loved the mix of modern and archaic décor the house had been adorned with. It took her back to her time in Paris three years ago, which had been one of her favorite trips to Earth. France was famous for its wine. Glancing over her shoulder at the tapestry that shielded her portal, Nevara had to laugh at the image it depicted—the usual image of Gluttony, a fat, horned man surrounded by Earth foods and goblets. Turning her back on it, she listened to the echo from the click of her heels as she strode down the hall. She noticed the gold plaques with names on the doors she passed, though hers was not one of those she passed. No matter; she’d find her rooms later. First, she wanted some of that delicious French wine she knew she’d find in the cellar.

Reaching the staircase, she descended to the ground floor, made her way across the courtyard and past the well, and entered the wine cellar with an excited grin. Gently running her fingers across the bottles, she found the 1921 Bordeaux she’d tasted in Paris and left the cellar. She made her way back across the courtyard with the well, traversed through the ballroom, and entered the kitchen, where she quickly fetched a wine glass. Pouring herself a glass, she set the bottle down, rested her hip against the counter’s edge, and raised the glass to her lips, savoring the taste as she awaited the inevitable.

Calliope held her letter in her hand, her jacket draped over her arm as she gripped the handle of her suitcase with lithe, slim fingers. She stood on the sidewalk outside of the airport, an attendant standing with her, holding a shoebox that contained a tiny little furball of a kitten. It was a little orange tabby cat named Moe. He’d been a last-minute gift from Miss Josie when the woman had presented to her when she was getting her things together that morning. The old woman had arranged transport to and from the airport for the girl, and Calliope was so grateful. Miss Josie was always there for her. She never had to worry about facing the things that frightened her. Calliope cooed down at Moe, then glanced back up at the bustle of the Paris airport.

She shied away when people passed, scanning her surroundings with happy and excited, but wary eyes, her thoughts on her destination. A few moments later, a sleek black Lexus pulled up in front of her on the sidewalk, and the driver got out, stepping up onto the sidewalk in front of her with a welcoming smile. “Miss Holloway?” he asked. Calliope nodded with an eager smile. “My name is Callen Hallman, I’ll be driving you to Montbrun Estate,” he said. “N-nice to meet you!” Callie stuttered, handing him her bags when he reached for them. As the driver loaded her bags into the back, Callie took the shoebox holding her new kitten from the airport attendant, and got into the car, excited for her journey. It was another four hours or so before she would arrive at the castle, but she didn’t mind. It gave her a chance to see France through the windows of the vehicle as it went by.

Callie spent the first hour of the ride looking out the windows and playing with Moe, but by the time they were heading into the rolling hills of the French countryside, Callie found herself dozing off alongside her kitten. She was woken about three hours later by her driver. Sitting up straight on the seat, she picked Moe up off the seat and set him back down in his box before stepping out of the car, barely noticing the driver getting her bags from the trunk as she stared in awe at the beautiful castle before her. It was everything she expected, though she was eager to see the garden, wherever it may be. Moe’s adorable meow snapped her out of her awed reverie, and she looked down, realizing her suitcase was beside her. Quickly, she turned around to thank Mr. Hallman, and found him and the sleek vehicle that had brought her here gone. That was strange. She’d never even heard the vehicle start.

She quickly forgot about the strange disappearance of her ride there when she looked back at the castle. “Here we are, Moe,” she murmured. “My first time away from home, and I’ve gone to a castle!” she squealed under her breath. Moe peered up at her with wide eyes and yawned, causing her to laugh. Lifting her bag onto her shoulder, Callie headed into the castle. Her head was on a constant swivel as she looked around the courtyard, peering down into the well and telling Moe about everything she saw, asking what he thought as if the kitten would respond. Animals were easy to talk to—people, not so much. Continuing into the castle, Callie came to a lovely spiral staircase.

While trying to decide which way to go—up or down—Moe gave a loud mewl and leaped from his box, landing lithely on the castle floor and sprinting through a doorway to her right. “Moe! Come back!” she called. Groaning, Callie tightened her grip on her bag and chased after the kitten. She went down a small set of stairs into a small, quaint dining room, entering just in time to see her kitten’s little orange tail disappear through a door opposite where she’d entered. “Moe!” she called. “Here, kitty!” Callie continued to call for the little cat as she hurried through the dining room and through the next door. The next room she came to was a sparsely decorated, but very homey living area—one occupied by two men already, one of which was wearing a very sheer, see-through shirt.

Callie skidded to a stop, her cheeks going bright red, especially when her cat leaped up onto the lap of the man in the sheer shirt and laid down with an innocent meow. “S-sorry!” she squeaked. Not sure what to do, Callie stayed where she was, nervously wringing her hands in front of her and glancing back and forth between the men and the floor.

Willow Ellaviel Floresola Hall

The ride was, well, not so silent. The driver was very chatty to say the least and Willow, being the person that she is just stayed quiet and listened. It kept her awake, although she did want to sleep knowing how long the ride would take but she didn't mind. It kept her mind buzzing with thoughts other than her own. Kept her from saying, "No. I don't want to do this. Take me back." She could feel herself shiver slightly, the thought of meeting a man she doesn't even know of, and marrying him in the near future is giving her anxiety. Will be be good to her? Treat her as a trophy wife? Or will he just have her for his own pleasure? Those thoughts gave her chills and is certainly not good for her mind.

"Miss?"

She looked up front, thankful to have her mind focusing on something else and not her dark thoughts. "Uhh, yes?"

"Have you ever wished you were a different person?"
Every day of my life. She shook her head slowly. The man gave a defeated sigh and continued rambling on about himself. "I do. I got too afraid to take risks that I ended up with a job I don't like." She felt the same. She is the same. Boy did she hated herself for it, being the coward that she is, letting her life come to this. "Well, it's not like I could just go back in time. I'm just hoping one day, it'll all be okay." That makes one of us. She sighed and looked out of the window, finding nothing but greenery around her. Willow wondered if she was in the right place, if she was right her destination was supposed to be in Portsmouth and that place was at wasn't known for their green but for their blue sea.

"We're here!" The driver cheered, he was so relieved to have finally gotten here unlike his passenger who is less than thrilled. He unloaded the trunk of his car, chirpy walking back to his cab. "Au revoir, mademoiselle!" Willow couldn't help but whip her head. French? It wasn't possible. How could it? All this time, she had been talking to a Parisian. It even said so at the head of the Taxi. She shook the idea away, denting the reality of things but in the back of her mind she feared that she may have gotten the wrong flight, the wrong place, she's dead meet if she could ever go home.

Up ahead was a castle, but that wasn't where she was supposed to be. She wanted to bang her skull on one of the trees, the cab had gone away and she really doesn't think that an abandoned castle would help. She turned her back, suitcase in hand as she walked away from a majestic house in the middle of the forest. She knew it would be a long walk, she wasn't ready for that of course but it was the only way back and after what felt like ten minutes of walking she found herself back at the front of the castle. The process repeated again and again. Defeated, she sat and let go of her things, crying while her wristwatch deemed the time to be just five minutes before seven in the evening.

Thank Lucifer! It was finally the day to go to Earth and get started weeding out the weakling human servant options from the strong, worthy ones. Alma had been speaking to her mother and her servant, who is in essence her father, while roaming the throne room in their human forms. Alma was listening to their story with such vivid detail that it seems to have happened only a century ago, rather than almost an entire millennium. It was enticing to see the love her mother had for the servant she was forced to find so long ago and it gave Alma some hope. What stood out more, though, were the words of her father Carson. Alma was surprised to hear how her mother, the most powerful demon of the realm was not only petrifying on sight but able to let herself be vulnerable for the stranger she came to know.

After listening to their story, Alma took a minute to think of what to say to her parents. “I do find joy and comfort in listening to your story. But you know my intentions. I want to find the strongest servant and best partner like you did, mother.” She looked at her parents lovingly with a slight smile. “I can only hope my experience goes half as smoothly as yours did. I do intend on being successful though. I have no doubt about that.”

“Keep in mind, dear daughter, that their corresponding family bares no indication to their power.” Queen Manea wrapped her arm around Carson, who comes from the sin of Sloth. It was a constant reminder to Alma to... what did the humans say? Not judge a book by its cover? Only those lacking in aspects would make a final judgment without learning about a person or thing first. Knowledge is another very important form of power, after all.

The three of them stopped in front of the throne that had two smaller chairs at either side, hidden behind lavafalls and brought forward when they would be utilized. This time, however, the lavafall in front of her usual seat would be her portal to the castle in the human world. She's taken the liberty to inspect the room the portal was leading her into and is happy with her destination. With a slight turn to her parents, Alma could see the tight grip her mother held on her father. She offered them a comforting smile and nod when Carson pulled the three into a hug. The two of you are too proud. I wont let you miss the moment.” There was a light chuckle from both women as they all hugged for a moment. Manea pulled back and patted Alma on the back. “We'll be ready to welcome you both. Go get them.” With the words of encouragement and support of her parents, Alma jumped through the lavafall portal while shape shifting into her animal form.

Arriving on the other end of the portal, Alma was a small and speedy lizard basking in the flames of the fire in the living room. It was a comforting feeling as she scurried her way out of the fireplace and seeing that Nicholas was already lounging comfortably on one of the chairs by the fire. Alma scampered across from him before shift into her human form before his eyes, raising her eyebrow at him with a small smirk as she crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. She playfully and sarcastically commented toward him. “It looks like you've made yourself at home already. Should I make all requests out to you?”

The two spoke for a short time before a white haired male entered the room and Nicholas greeted him. Alma was fine observing and only gave the male a short wave, unaware that he would be her roommate. She didn't intend to look intimidating but she may have looked it with her current outfit consisting of a leather jacket, black cami, red leather pants and black boots. The white haired male didn't seem to notice her at first as he replied. She chuckled at his response, it was blunt and funny. Evidently the humans didn't know why they were here since the newcomer thought he could miss being here on time. Alma decided to speak up. “There will be plenty of us here, I assure you. The spooky castle will feel like home soon enough once everyone gets settled.”

Yelling echoed through the rooms from nearby. It sounded like another unaware servant had arrived and was screaming for some reason. A fleeting shape ran through the door and jumped into Nicholas' lap and Alma rolled her eyes. Of course. Now he would be addicted to the cat. “He's practically a cat whisperer so there's no need to be sorry. You've probably made his day.”

Zach Karahalios

Son of Viserylor

location: The car -> Courtyard -> Kitchen

with: Nevara

outfit: Casual

Leaning his forehead against the window with his eyes closed, Zach was dreading arriving at whatever hellhole he was being driven to. Various scenarios were playing in his mind since the silence of the car ride allowed his brain to freely go haywire. All he could imagine was being presented to some other pimp and being pimped out to shit tier clients. Well... shittier than I've already experienced. Or what if they force me to try to do another one of the runs I just failed? No. I would rather not. They'll probably end up beating me to a pulp or maybe... Zach closed his eyes and lightly tapped his head against the glass. He got himself into this mess. He will find a way out. Otherwise he'll never hear the end of it from his brother.

The car was coming up to a tunnel and the large man to his side threw a cover over Zach's eyes. He didn't fight back since it would be futile to even try. So he sat there as the minimal light that was making it through the cover faded into darkness and the echo of the tires in the tunnel grew longer. Zach sighed as only a moment later the cover was removed and he was being pulled out of the vehicle.

He tried to shield his eyes from the sudden light exposure but was being shoved by the men he has been resenting during the whole trip. He barely could make out the opening of large doors before being pushed through them. He stumbled to catch his balance, almost falling but catching himself on the well in the courtyard. He stood up and took a look around. The place was barren but beautiful. It really felt like he was not supposed to be here but judging by how they treated him, this was definitely the place.

“Ah..shit.” He kicked the ground. The walls seemed to be run down from what he could tell. Doesn't look like people visit regularly. I'm screwed. He considered himself lucky to not be thrown directly into the wolves at this point. While looking around the place and trying to decide which of the many doors he should enter, a brown haired woman in a purple dress strutted past him toward some door and vanished for a few minutes. She reappeared with a bottle of wine in her hand and entered the castle again. Zach thought she looked friendly enough and being so well dressed, she must be someone with pull. If I could talk to her he might be able to get out of here. He tried to follow her but entered a doorway that lead to a spiral staircase. He could hear steps of high heels, which he hoped would be the same woman, and followed them. Moving around the stairs he entered what seemed to be an empty dining room and to his left were steps that lead up to the kitchen. He could hear the closing of a cabinet and the pouring of something into a glass. Gotcha.

Fixing himself up as best he could before going up the steps, he calmly made his way into the kitchen. Luckily, he was right and had successfully followed the woman. Seeing her in the light, Zach could finally see how beautiful she was. That meant one of two things. Either she was in charge or was a VIP. Either way, he knew he had to try to make her like him. It seemed like she was enjoying the wine incredibly. He threw on the smile that has proven to be inviting for almost anyone he encounters. “Hello miss. That wine looks quite delectable.” He paused for a slight second. “Almost, if I may, as delectable as you.” Was he proud of himself for doing this? No. But if this disregard for himself gives him a shot of being free then he has to take the chance.

When someone rich and possibly powerful asks for a one-on-one meeting with you, it’s difficult to say no. Difficult, but still doable. When your band-mates start to employ peer pressure to get you to accept said meeting, it becomes impossible to say no. pimps to my fucking prostitute. Just got our big break and already, they’re stabbin' me.

Is it too late now to just fuck off? he slumped in his seat, singing his thoughts to some pop song.

And to answer his question: a definite yes, given that he flew all the way here first class, stayed at some crazy expensive hotel and ordered a whole load of room service food. All expenses paid for by their enigmatic employer, by the way.

Now, normally, Maddox wouldn’t have been against meeting their employer, because that’s natural. That’s just part of the business. But specifically asking for him? Specifically? Why not bring the rest of the band in? Why not allow anyone to accompany him?

His theories, so far:
• Employer's really just a big fan and likes the sound of my voice as much as I do
• Employer has a thing for me or someone who looks like me and plans to trap me à la yandere
• I'm an unaware sugar baby and this is going to be a weird-ass date with some old fart
• Employer's a ghost that summoned the band in order to get to me because my bloodline's special or somethin'

All of it sounds equally likely, with the latter three equally alarming and creepy. Call it intuition or mumble jumbo or whatever, but Maddox had a seriously bad feeling about the castle up ahead.

He entertained the idea of rolling out of the car 'cos how hard can it possibly be, right? Plus, good story to tell when I get back, so plus two points for that. But one look at his surroundings shut up any more thoughts of escape.

He's in a forest. fuck that. He'll take a haunted castle over a haunted forest any time, anywhere, always. Guess I’ll marry the old fart, then.

Soon, the vehicle finally arrives and promptly, Maddox is kicked off into the curb. Which wasn’t very nice, but he isn’t given much time to grumble about that before he hears sobbing. Full-force wailing and crying. In a forest.

Fuck that. He thought to himself until he realized that the wailing was in the direction of the castle. oh fucking shit, what the fuck is this fucking shit?

In front of him was a girl facing away from him, crying her heart out and blocking his path. He can’t back out because he’s a pussy, and he can’t move forward because he’s a pussy. Maybe he could shout at them instead? From where he’s at, of course. So he can have some vantage to run off if the situation calls for it.

Tentatively, he yells out: "h-hey! You aight?"

Maddox mostly kept to his signature look: his favorite black beanie with his favorite hanten (2) over a loose shirt and sweatpants. He spruced up his look a little bit, though, since he is going to be meeting with their new boss, so instead of the usual plain old tee, he has a black shirt with lace-ups (1) on. Though he kept the socks and sandals on, he did change into his good pair of joggers (3).

Most people might be worried seeing a lizard come running out of a fire, the prince hardly reacted to it. Not even when that very same lizard had turned into a beautiful and stunning woman that commanded respect and authority, even with just standing there. "Darkness is settling, my dear, soon this will be pretty damn close to my home," he had replied to her. His eyes sparkling with good natured excitement as he watched her. One of his oldest friends, and they had been so six centuries already. They had met under the most unexpected circumstances and ever since there had been en undeniable bond between them. Not as sacred as the Bond, but very strong and impossible to break. Younger demons even mistook them for lovers, but that was nothing but rumors. They were purely platonic with no romantic feelings involved at all.

His little call out to the first human entering was answered by a males voice. It didn't take long for the person to show himself, though it seemed like he was unsure. "Come in, come in, we won't bite," he said with a chuckle, "not yet at least. She is looking way more frigthening than she is." He glanced towards Alma, before smiling back toward the white haired male. He wanted to comment on there being more people, but Alma took the words right out of his mouth, while something else entirely took his attention. His sensitive hearing already picking up on the word 'kitty' as suddenly a small shadow rushed towards him. His lips curled up in a widened grin now as that little shadow was a cat, a young one at that, with a beautiful ginger fur. "Hello sweetheart." His voice fell down to a soft purr as he had to keep in check to not actually purr for real. He had not thought that hiding that side, would become a problem this early in.

Nicholas chuckled as he heard Alma talk about how his day would already be made with the appearance of this tabby cat. "Come on, it is a beauty. How could this not make my day?" he hummed. Only now his eyes moved up to address the owner of the cat. A rather timid looking female dressed in a flower dress with an oversized cream vest. His eyes traveled back towards the previous male and his oversized black sweater. Was that some new trend? Wearing oversized clothes? What did he know the last time he had been here was... during some war. It had been awful. He didn't get what Alma liked so much about them. Though that was not the point right now. "She is right though, don't be sorry," he said. His fingers gently moving through the soft fur and crawling the kitten a bit behind his ear.

"I would get up and shake your hands, but the cat demands I stay seated. So I guess you will have to come over to me now," the demon spoke with another chuckle. He held out his hand towards the male first, since he had been the first to arrive. "I am Nicholas Galloway," he introduced himself, "and this is my good friend, Alma Cole." He gave both of them a gentle, yet powerful handshake, if they dared to come close enough. "Like I said before welcome to Château Montbrun, we shall be your hosts," he said. Not that they really have any idea how to actually be a host for humans, but well, they'd figure it out. Humans, luckily, were very resourceful and self-sufficient, so it should not be too much of a problem. Just feed them and... well, he wasn't sure what kind of care humans needed otherwise.

Misha listened to how his voice came back to him in the enormous ballroom. It was so beautiful. Very extravagant with all the gold, but it made his heart pick up speed. He couldn't wait to get into his dancing clothes and just dance. His little daydream was abruptly and rudely broken by a male voice that suddenly answered his earlier call. How he wished he had stayed silent, though oh my, he wouldn't have wanted to pass on this sight either. Were all people here gonna be so ridiculous hot? If so he was gonna stand out like one sore thumb. Sure, he knew some girls liked him, but he never considered himself particularly attractive. He'd never really turn heads or anything like that. Now this male... He would for sure leave girls drooling wherever he went.

Focus, Misha, he is talking to you. He quickly pulled a smile upon his face as the other joked about being rather early to the party. He was unable to find his voice really with that bright smile blowing him away. He was pretty sure his heart was even missing some beats. What the hell? Was this male an actor? Model? He didn't look like just a dancer. He would know if he had been a dancer! "I.. uh... I might be," he said with a small soft voice. His eyes sliding shyly to the ground. How was he suppose to act around someone looking this good? His eyes shot up again as the other spoke his long, and very alluring, Spanish sounding name. His blush only darkened as he noticed that wink and he couldn't help but to quickly look behind him. A female suddenly called out this males name and came over. Surely that wink was ment towards her and not him, right? How big was the chance that this insanely hot male was gay? And not only that, interested in him! Impossible.

The male and female obviously knew each other as he was given nothing more than a nod and a smile, by the woman. Who was also ridiculous good looking by the way. Even if he did not swing that way at all, he knew an attracive person when he saw one. He swallowed a bit as he took a step back so the two friends greeted eachother. Or were they lovers? That would be quite a shame. What? He blushed at his own thoughts, even though no one would be able to hear them. Again, just because this male had winked didn't mean he wanted anything from him. It could have been just his personality! He seemed like the overly charismatic person. He probably meant nothing with it.

Misha took a small step back and looked for an exit. He didn't want to interrupt on anything and it seemed like these friends hadn't seen each other in quite a while. "So... I will just... gooo," he spoke to no one in particular. His voice rather soft, but it felt weird to not say anything at all as well? He doubted either of them would pay attention to him. He grabbed his sports bag and took some steps along the wall. It was still a long awkward way to any sort of escape. If the rest of the people were this good looking, he was so not gonna survive this bootcamp.

Calag Isagani Buenaventura

He watched the young man struggling to find the words, face red and shy while being highlighted by the shine of the dim lights. He loved the effect he had on people, on humans. He found it endearing when they act the way the young dancer does right now. Although some react boldly in different ways some deny their attraction towards him while others were very honest. Truth to be told he loves any reactions he receives from humans, he finds it rather interesting. His smile never left, giving a casual hum as he waited for a name. He inched closer and closer, expecting to get a further rise of reaction.

The sound of soft yet echoing clack of heels filled the ballroom, announcing the arrival of another and Calag loved what he was seeing behind the young servant. His eyes glinted mischievously than ever, the idea of being with Mara before Nic gives him a chance to sway her to his loving graces. "Mara!" He cheered, striding her way before giving a quick yet lingering peck to her cheek. "You're looking as lovely as a Peruvian Lily and a ravishing dress you are wearing. I don't think my poor heart can take it." His words were joyful, he always is when the two are together... without the bastard Prince of Envy. He wanted her so bad, he's never actually felt this way but such are the consequences of having emotion. The thought of her lips on his, his hand on her waist and seemingly a romantic scenery in his mind. Then he heard his previous companion about to leave. He gave an apologetic smile to Mara, he wasn't here to play goose chase with someone that held his affection. He's here to make a bond and, crap, he made a mistake in ignoring the human for the lovely Princess of Greed. He quipped with a low voice, "I'd love to chat since we haven't seen each other for a while but we should entertain our guest first."

"Ah, ah ,ah." He glided towards Misha with quick strides on the mar and grabbed him by the shoulder. "You can't leave yet, I have yet to introduce you to one of our other resident here, the wonderful Mara Adesso." His hand reaching over to Mara, like he was showing an exquisite work of art. "And you haven't given me a name to that beautiful face of yours." Speaking a little dejectedly he wrapped his arm around the man's shoulder so that they were closer than ever, leaning in and whispered low that only the two of them can hear. "Since we met in the Ballroom, I'll dance with you later if you'd let me." His tone was slightly seductive. Calag was only slightly taller than Misha, so he didn't have to bend slightly to reach his ears as his body was beside the dancer's. "So, a name?" His smile was sweet, eyes focused and shining as how humans mostly see it.

Just like the young woman had thought her therapist had encouraged her to take this oppertunity. The people who requested the cake seemed to be very nice and they were being very accomodating for her by sending a female driver. It was a great chance to develop a bit more social skills and she could always fall back to a subject she was confident in, namely her baking and cakes. So eventually Esmeralda had send an email back confirming the appointment. The next days were spend with planning and chosing what flavors would bring out the deadly sins best and how she was gonna decorate them. Eventually she had chosen for simple decorations and let the cupcakes speak for themselves in flavor. She knew it would be a 14-person group, including herself, so she had decided to make one big cake so she could at least serve everyone a piece. It would also give her a chance to show off her decorating skills with that. So it was the perfect set up plan.

The day of the pick up had been rather stressful for her. Though she had found harmony in that stress. Honestly she liked it, definitely when everything turned out even better than expected. The Envy cupcake had the perfect green color which was of course thanks to the pistachio she had used. She liked to stick to natural coloring as much as possible for the cakes themselves. Yet with decorating and frosting she couldn't go around usage of food coloring and such all the time. She did try to keep it to a minimum though. Unless her customer had particular request. With this customer, whom she was meeting in just a few hours, she had a whole free range though. How she had also found the time to pack a bag for her stay, she had no idea. They had been clear that they had wanted her to stay for a bit longer to discuss all positibilities and even bake at the location.

Even though promises had been made that everything was arranged, Esmeralda couldn't help but to pack a lot of her own baking gear as well. She wanted to have some familiar things in this new setting, and very unusual situation. By the time the driver had arrived, the young female was doubting her decision to go again. Yet it was too late to say no, right? Why would they chose her? She was just some home baker, she didn't even have any degrees or certicificates or anything. Except for those that were legally mandatory about health precautions and such. She hadn't gone to a fancy culinary school or worked for some well known bakery or pastry chef. She was just a little home cook that liked to backe and do pastries. Why would any one want her? Her thoughts spiralled a bit down, but the knock on the door was merciless and gave her no other choice than to pack up the cakes.

Very carefully she put them all in individual little boxes, before setting them down in an open crate. All of it fitting perfectly so there was not a chance the cakes would slide or fall over. Once at the location she would do some touching up and then present it to her hosts and who ever else was there. A fourteen membered tasting party was rather... unusual. Yet she wasn't gonna judge. She had to be very very grateful for this oppertunity. They could have chosen someone else, someone better, way better, without all the stupid problems that she had, like being selective mute. It was mentioned on all her pages, she liked to be upfront about it so people could take it in account. Yet she knew a lot of times it slipped peoples minds, which was why she always had a charged phone and carried a pen and little notebook with her. That way she could communicate, even with males being present. If the group was not too big. Fourteen people... She would just follow her therapists tips and focus on two people at the same time and try to ignore all the others.

She didn't really notice much of the carride. The driver stayed silent and she went over the cakes she had prepared, the ingredients she had used, all possible allergies she had to warn for. Her customer had not been cooperative on that point. She just hoped all of them could at least taste a bite. With eight different cakes that should however not be a problem. Perhaps she should have made the French Vanilla after all? It was always a good back up... No time to regret that decision anymore as she was brought up the whole drive way. Through the forest, until the car stopped right in front of the gate of a medieval castle indeed. Esmeralda took a deep breath as she stepped out of the car, the crate with cakes in her arms and the driver was helpful enough pull her suitcase out of the car and put it next to her. "Thank you," she said, though there was no reply as the driver simply got in and drove off again.

How was she gonna do this? The Spanish woman moved the crate to her hip, holding it under one arm as she grabbed the handle of her suitcase with the other. It was luckily not heavy and now she kinda felt like some medieval maid, so that was fitting with the setting right? She walked onto the country yard as she looked towards the well with a soft smile. Cute. The place was desolated though, not that she minded. She liked to work in peace and without too many prying eyes. She quickly made her way to what seemed to be a spiraling staircase. She could hear chatter coming from one side, or she assumed it was chatter. She only vaguely could make out voices. Her attention was taken by a room immediately at her right and the table in the middle of it. Enough to fit eight people. That was where she was gonna set it up, since so far no one had come to greet her. She noticed two doorways to a place that had a lot more chattering. She could make out a males voice, one of the woman just making her apologies for something that had happened.

Esmeralda made no sound, nothing vocal at least, as she was happy that back was turned towards her. She put the crate on the chairs. Or she had wanted to as she noticed the arm rest curling down. She looked around for a moment, before just putting the crate on one end of the table. She put her suitcase down in the corner, took off her black coat and hung it over one of the chairs. She got her latex gloves on and then got to work. Normally she'd hum, but she had no interest in getting the attention from the blonde woman in that doorway, and thus whatever male would be in the next room. So as silently as she could she opened up the boxes. She put the large foot for the cake in the middle of the big plate and the cupcakes around it. Most of them had perfectly survived the calm ride, so now all that was left were the last finishing touches. The edible heart on top of the Lust-cupcake, the chocolate drizzle over the Gluttony-cupcake as well as the syrups and sauces of the other cupcakes. Last but not least the sugarry pitch fork in the middle of her Diablo-cake. The world around her nothing but a haze, as she was fully focussed on her task to deliver the best cakes possible.

He hadn't noticed the woman right away. He wasn't sure how he had missed her though, she was a beauty and certainly had a presence. Maybe his lack of sleep lately had dulled his senses. When she had answered him his pale blue gaze snapped towards her as his posture straightened, his actions quite obviously showing that he hadn't noticed her until this point. Overall he looked confused. Very confused. Neither of these two looked like they were here for a music workshop. Heck. This place didn't look like the place to even hold one, creepy, old style castle and two attractive hosts was not what was advertised in the email, he was expecting some concert hall with a bunch of weirdos like himself if anything. Something...wasn't right. But it was not like he could just turn and go home. His home was in the suburbs of London. Not France. That would be a hell of a long trip to hitchhike back from here. He guessed as long as it wasn't some kind of crazy cult he had been invited to in the disguise of a music workshop then he would just make the most of this free holiday to France. At least that was the optimistic way of thinking. Though her words caught him a little settled in? Feeling like home? How long was he supposed to be staying here? He had told James he would be gone a week at most...Maybe he was overthinking her words, so instead he just offered a smile in response "Ah Good. I'm glad I'm not late." He answered with with a distinctly British accent.

His attention was taken from the brunette woman when the man sitting comfortably on the couch had joked that they would not bite. Colt blinked, taking note of how he was gingerly standing inside the doorway. He probably looked like a nervous weirdo. With a sheepish grin he stepped further into the room to not look so awkward but stopped upon hearing someone yell from the hallway. Was she yelling...kitty? His question was immediately answered when a fuzzy orange blur rushed past him and jumped onto the man's lap. His expression softened upon spotting the kitten. He always had a soft spot for animals. It was one of the reasons why he was working in a pet store after all, he would have petted it if it hadn't decided to lay on the lap of the man who the woman had joked was a cat whisperer.

Not moments after the owner of the kitten arrived. A nervous looking blonde girl with reddened cheeks that looked around his age entered the room apologising for her cats behavior. His sleepy looking gaze moved back to the kitten and the man who was now talking softly to it. The man didn't seem to mind at all so the apology certainly wasn't needed. His eyes returned to the man's face when he greeted him and offered a hand "Oh! Right. Of course" he let a light laugh when the man who was apparently called Nicholas mentioned that he spent want to annoy the cat by moving. He took the hand and shook it. The man's handshake much firmer than his own for sure. "Colt Bonham. It's nice to meet you both." He answered as he moved to the woman, offering her a handshake too.

She couldn't help but give a soft laugh as Calag had greeted her with a compliment and and a kiss on the cheek "And your words are as flattering as ever, Calag. You do know how to make a woman blush" She responded with a bright smile and a flutter of her eyelashes. For her, the atmosphere was always laid back with Calag, there was a sense of ease if she could call it that, she couldn't fully explain it. She know that did not make him any less powerful than the other heir here.

She had no problem answering back his words, he always had flirty comments to dish for everyone and because of that she had never pinned herself as being any higher in his interests than any of the rest of those he shot romantic gestures at, since that was most people. Perhaps it was why she took his advances as normal conversation from an heir of Lust.

Another man would always swoop in and sway her before she would think otherwise anyway, someone she had decided she would not waste her thoughts on this time...Though she always told herself to not waste her time with Nic and again and again she would ignore her own advice. She could almost feel Pride smaking her over the head for being so juvenile and irrational. She knew Envy couldn't care less about her but she'd fall for it every time and feel awful after for being so stupid. It was just an endless loop at this point and it was her own fault.

She had caught the human trying to leave the ballroom too. Pausing when Calag had quipped, her expression a tad embarrassed. It was a joke though it held truth, reminding her about looking out for their guests first. Of course. She had to keep focused. It was the humans they were here to get along with. Not eachother. She would have to greet the boy appropriately. Luckily Calag was swift to stop his quiet exit and bring him back in a smooth manner, recovering the situation. She smiled with a slight tilt of her head as she was introduced "It's nice to meet you" she answered softly after.

Of course Calag spent no time in waiting to sweet talk the boy directly after. Ever an opportunist and the poor human seemed to be melting in response, no doubt Calag was having too much fun with his reactions.

Misha had managed to take some steps along the wall while the male greeted the woman back with great enthusiasm and very flirtatious words. Oh my, he certainly had no idea how that woman had kept standing. His knees were weak and those words had not even been spoken to him. Her reaction so cool and almost unmoved by the flattery of the male. They were long time friends, so apparentely this was very normal behaviour for the male. Misha made sure to keep that in mind. And that it was best to keep his distance before he would get caught up in this web of sweet words and pretty smiles. But why not let yourself be caught? He swallowed softly as his mind didn't seem to be able to keep up with a reason why he shouldn't give into this male. Even if it was all just sweet talk and very temporarily.

His depature had not gone unnoticed as he had thought when the male, Calag, made some disapproving sound. He hardly made any sound as that hand was suddenly on his shoulder. Perhaps he was a dancer after all... The touch was light and oh it burned right through all the layers of clothing he was wearing. He looked up at the male when he was told he could not leave and the woman introduced towards him. "I.. Ah... I am sorry," he said, still stumbling over his words. His eyes took in the female a bit better. Her clothes both sexy and rather professional. A business woman? Or also a model? She sure wasn't a dancer either. "It is an honor meeting you," he said, "both of you." With those words he had wanted to step away from the male and create some distance between them. If only for the sake of being able to breath, but no such thing was allowed.

That hand slid over to his other shoulder and he was pulled in even closer to the male. His blush darkening a bit more as he felt pleasant shivers run down his spine. Why... was he reacting this strongly? Normally he was able to keep his head cool. At least until he was alone and could freak out. "My name?" It was almost like every working braincell was on a strike by now as the male complimented him that easily on his face. Don't fall for pretty words, Misha His inner voice was sceptic, but that warning was already way too late. "It is-" He started but that warm voice of the other and those low words that were spoken stopped his heart again. For a few beats at least, before it set off in a double rhythm it seemed. Dancing? In the arms of this male? Yes, all of his yes! You are not even able to function around him, how do you want to dance? It didn't matter though as he gave a very soft nod. He was left breathless once again.

The male so easily switched to a normal cheerful voice as he once again asked for his name. Misha's eyes flicked over towards the woman for a moment. They stayed on her for a moment, as if he was looking for an escape. "Mik-Mikhail Kara-Karahalios," he managed to get out. A very Greek name, though he was very Slavic himself. Obviously so with the nervousness bringing out the darker tones to the surface compared to that singsong Greek alure his name was suppose to have. "But... you can call me M-misha," he said as he looked shyly back towards the male. He was drowning in that chocolate stare, absolutely helpless against the allure of this male. Those lips were looking very soft and sweet and he bit his own lower lip a bit. This was bad. This was very bad...Five minutes in and you are already fantasizing about kissing him...

Misha wished that inner voice would just shut up as he gently slipped away from the others hold, which he probably should have done much earlier on. His heart seemed to be able to calm itself at least a little bit more like this. "So... uh... where are you from?" he asked softly. He needed something else to focus on than those chocolate eyes, those full lips, that dark hair than he just wanted to run his fingers through and probably a very fit and amazing body that was hidden by those clothes. Behave! He quickly forced his gaze back towards the female, Mara. "What... kind of dance are you into?" Maybe it was not a ballet bootcamp? But for all kind of dancers? That would explain why he didn't know or recognize them. At least he seemed to be able to talk normally again.

Alan Allen

Prince of Sloth

location: River in Aergia -> Main Dining Room -> Small Dining Room

with: Esmeralda

Is this really necessary? Alan sighed as he stared into the sky of Aergia. ‘Soon to be his kingdom. Blah Blah Bl-’ He mentally mocked his mother’s words as he couldn’t find a real reason to care about it. It didn’t mean much to him. Right now he was more concerned with spending the time he could to do nothing. The river water flowing beneath him carried him easily at just the right speed as he floated on the bundle of giant leaves. It kept the scenery new as he was lost in thought. Going through all of the effort of swaying some mortal to grant them immortality and spend eternity with them? It...sounds like a lot of work. Alan rolled onto his side as he let out a huff. They should be the ones trying to sway me for the gift of immortality. He flicked the water beneath him.

He should really be getting his head into this so it could be over with. Should he help the other heirs? No. Should he look into the future to see what people would like? It probably wouldn’t help. The one exciting thing is that humans are supposed to be full of surprises, from what he had heard, seen, and learned. Apparently their decision making needs had too many influences so there was rarely a chance to follow a pattern. So taking a small cheating sneak peak into their souls wouldn’t help him much. Unless it was a decision based on some immense value. Even with that shred of light the bond hunting experience was not something Alan was looking forward to. Having to try to 'win the favor' of some human. That meant effort and even if he would be entertained or even surprised for a moment he didn't think it would be worth it.

As he was floating down the river bend he saw Jessica, his mother's servant, standing at the water's edge and calling for him. I guess it’s time to get going. He groaned as he moved himself off the floating leaves and splashed into the water to make his way over. She was worth moving for, even though he wouldn’t openly say it. Be it because she actually had emotions or because she would give him a rough tongue lashing if he didn't comply. Still, at least she, to him, gave a shit. About many things. Sometimes more than she should but being the descendant of Pride has made her invasively caring. Finally arriving at her side, he pulled himself out of the water and turned into his human form to be on level ground with her. She gave him a stern look as she fixed his clothes. “You know, Al. Just because your mother was too lazy to make an effort doesn't mean you have to be. The two of us were the last to bond..” She closed her eyes with a small sigh before opening them again. Probably because of the cliché. What else would be expected of Sloth incarnate? ”All because she fit her stereotype too perfectly. You don't have to do that. We're just lucky we've managed to make our lives work out. You don't have to settle for what's left over...” Her voice trailed. That must be a hard thing to think about. Being picked last when your whole life you felt like you were worth nothing. That’s a cruel affirmation. Al stretched and wrapped his arms around the woman who raised him more than his own mother had ever thought about him. “Yeah. I get it but I also can't completely fight my nature. Don't worry about me. Worry about you. I'll see you soon.” Letting go, he turned to the tree providing them shade and walked up to the trunk. The center mass glistened with droplets of water and the trunk before him shifted into the portal he would take to the castle. “I'll check up on you!” Jessica shouted out. Alan slowly shook his head with a lingering smile as he stepped through the portal.

Alan had arrived in the main dining room on the first floor of the castle. Apparently by way of a set of armor that was to the side of the fireplace. He shrugged, checking the time on a nearby wall clock and it seemed he was a tad early and could quickly easily pass an hour and a half. Perfect. I can catch a nap. They’ll wake me up whenever they all get here. Alan grabbed a seat at the small table near the window, threw his feet up on the table, and fell asleep swiftly.

Two hours had passed when Alan woke up to distant sounds and slight scents going through the air. His limbs were stiff but he forced himself to get up and stretch. “I guess if they’re not here they have to be somewhere. Not everyone would be fashionably late. Let’s see who I stumble upon first.” Sluggish steps brought Alan toward the spiral staircase in this castle. It was close and the sounds and smells had to be coming from downstairs. As he made his way down the steps he realized he hadn’t taken the time to look around but he had no intention to do so until he had to. He’ll get to where he needs to eventually. At the bottom of the steps he had two choices, the outdoors or an opening to his left. That opening led him into a smaller dining room with a table littered with cupcakes and one large cake all in the center. They looked delicious. Nevara would have a field day with those. Movement caught Alan’s eye as he noticed a red headed woman working with laser focus on the cakes, adding details. One on one, that’s simple enough. The overly casual, frankly lazy outfit Alan was wearing would hopefully not be too intimidating for the woman. He cleared his throat as he shoved his hands into his pockets. “Uh.. hey. Those cakes look amazing. Are we allowed to eat them yet?” Cool. Smooth. Whatever, at least I tried.

Alma Cole

Princess of Wrath

location: Chateau Living Room -> Making rounds to gather everyone

with: Nicholas, Colt, Callie, and Moe then everyone in segments

outfit: No Studs

The faintest giggle escaped Alma’s lips when Nicholas made his darkness comment. There was a hidden meaning in there and she couldn’t argue with him since he was not wrong and he knew it. She returned the excited look in his eyes with a fiery smile. “I look forward to seeing it then.” Knowing each other for over half a millennium she could not argue that he knows her too well so she would admit that he had a point over her there. But only to him. In private. For the majority of their lives they’ve been the best of demonic friends and Alma has every intention to maintain that relationship with him for eternity. When they were younger, she would constantly be told by her mother’s underlings that rumors of her dating the prince of envy were spreading like wildfire through the realms. Each time she would laugh and threaten the source of those rumors with death. They were friends and had the utmost respect for one another, he happened to know absolutely everything about her, and she would murder anyone who wronged him unless he said otherwise. That was all.

The white haired male that walked in was an interesting mortal. It seemed as though he was fixated on Nicholas at first but she grabbed the male’s attention quickly with her voice and she appreciated how he tensed and straightened himself when he noticed her. An impish smile instinctively appeared as she thought it would be fun to toy with the male. She may feign anger with him for not noticing her immediately. Not now though, it was too early. And the white haired male had just spoken with a glorious accent that sounded like music to Alma’s ears. She couldn’t help herself and she closed the gap between herself and the male with gliding steps, stopping right in front of him. She looked at him inquisitively with a gentle smile as she reached a hand towards him, “I quite enjoy that accent of yours. Where are you from?” When Nicholas had mentioned biting she took a few steps back as she giggled along with his chuckle, hopefully relieving some tension. “Biting is for special occasions only.” She smirked and licked her lips before continuing with a click of her tongue, spinning back to her spot against the wall. “And I can’t help that I tend to command the room with my presence.” She waved her hand dramatically to imitate a mortal royal.

The kitten that made its way into Nicholas’ lap was followed by a cute timid mortal woman who seemed to be frozen in place. Poor girl needs some help, it’s sad to see her so…. vulnerable. Hopefully this small pet would help these mortals relax and start opening up, though it was still early. Alma uncrossed her arms to make herself more approachable as she was introduced. The setting was casual enough as it is which mortals preferred in new situations. The cat may have been a stroke of luck after all. “It’s a pleasure to meet you both.” Alma reached out and shook Colt’s hand with both of her hands wrapped around it. “Colt? Like the gun?” Of course her knowledge would be something violent but she was genuinely curious. Before he had the chance to answer she used the action to pull herself past him and toward the timid girl, sliding an arm around her to lead her into the room. “What may we have the pleasure of calling you, miss?” She tried her best to lower the intimidation factor but it was proving to be difficult, as expected. She let go of the girl once they were a few steps into the room and she noticed the clock on the wall.

“Well.” Alma scoffed at the time as she gave Nicholas a determined and instructive look before leaving the room. “It’s already time for dinner. We’ll have to get to know each other more another time.” She probably should have apologized but that was something that was completely foreign to her. As she stepped through the doorway leading toward the small dining room she left them with a fleeting comment. “I will see you shortly.” It came out more like a command than a kind regard but it was also something she could not help.

Since it was Wrath’s turn to host the annual meeting this year, but the meeting was replaced by the bonding excursion, Alma was in charge of rallying the heirs, heiresses, and servants for important matters. This was a serious task for her and she did not intend on taking it lightly. Entering the dining room she saw that Alan, that lazy and boring demon, was speaking to a stunning red headed woman who was setting up cakes. How she had not heard these two while they were just in the room next to her was baffling but she couldn’t dwell on it now. “Hello you two. I am collecting everyone to join us here so expect to have visitors momentarily. We will have proper introductions then.” Alma made her statement with a quick nod and continued walking into the kitchen, not giving either of them a chance to respond.

Five down. Eight to go. Going up the stairs, she was met with the sight of Nevara and a mortal male who each seemed to be indulging in different things. Her, unsurprisingly, in wine and him indulging in her presence. Alma stood between the two and swiftly snatched the bottle from the counter. She started reading the label as she spoke. “As much as I would hate to interrupt… It is time for dinner.” Alma glanced at Nevara and handed the bottle back to her with a smile. “Head downstairs and we will all be there shortly.” Alma looked at the male and gave him a sly wink as she walked backwards away from the two and toward the ballroom.

Alma was just going from room to room hoping that she would fine everyone. Having to find thirteen other beings and rounding them up while hiding the demonic presence of everyone did make things take longer than necessary. Hopefully suppressing themselves wouldn’t have to last for much longer than a few weeks. She was now in the expansive and gorgeous ballroom where she found Calag, Mara, and another mortal male. Seeing the two demons together was irritating since she knew how her best friend for eternity, Nicholas, feels about Calag and how he constantly does the intimate deed with Mara. That whole ordeal is a complete mess and now is not the time. Still, she couldn’t help shooting the group an anger filled glare paired with an awkward forced smile as she approached. Which probably left the poor mortal scarred and confused. “Mara. Calag. Sir who I will get to meet more appropriately shortly. It is time for dinner and introductions. Follow the doorway I entered through into the kitchen and through there into the dining room. I’ll get the others and meet you there shortly to get things started.” She was unintentionally being formal and intentionally being bossy. She was already tired of having to corral everyone. She followed her path out of the ballroom and looked back at them. “Thank you!” For what? She wasn’t sure but she felt she should say it. Now to find the last three.

She made it into the courtyard and looked around. No one was in sight. This was the chance she was waiting for. Magic time. No. Patience. You can do this. Ugh. She hated that she knew she was right. Giving the search a real shot, she made her way toward the main entrance, hoping that she wouldn’t have to search the entire castle. She pushed through the doorway and was instantly met with a sobbing woman who managed to be beautiful even though her tears. Emotions were not Alma’s strong suit and dealing with them was more difficult for her than anything. Then the voice of a male sounded through the air and Alma’s attention shot toward him. Great. What is going on? I'm not here to babysit. She approached the weeping woman and bent down next to her and speaking as gently as possible. “Excuse me. I’m not entirely sure what’s wrong but would warm dinner and freshly baked goods accompanied by new friends possibly cheer you up?” The positivity was almost cheesy enough to make Alma gag after uttering the sentences. She had to be strong and hopefully this girl would take her up on the offer. Alma moved in front of her and reached her hand out to offer her assistance. “I’ll help you bring your things inside too. What do you say?” The confidence and commanding presence Alma naturally employed would probably actually be helpful here. Why would this woman deny her? The choice was crying alone outside of the castle or enjoying normalcy. While waiting for the woman to respond, Alma turned her head to the male down the road and shouted back to him. “Dinner is about to be served! We would appreciate and be honored if you would join us! It will be great! There are many cakes to choose from as well!” If that would be enough to get these two to follow her inside she had no idea. The last person to retrieve was Sylvie, heiress of Pride, who was probably waiting to steal the spotlight by showing up late. If she was more than five minutes late to this meeting then Alma wasn’t sure if she would be able to stop herself from getting angry and setting something on fire. But right now she had to focus on the two straggling servants in front of her.

Willow Ellaviel Floresola Hall

This wasn't supposed to happen. How did this happen to her she doesn't know. She was sure as hell her father didn't make any kind of mistake in her flight arrangement, it wouldn't be like him. Her chest tightened, it was harder to breathe than before. It was her anxiety back at it again. She didn't know what to do, was she gonna die alone in a forest in front of a creepy house? Quite possibly. Maybe a bear would come right out from the woods and just eat her up. The thought of it happening flashed images in her brain, it made her quiver in fear of the pain and the idea of death itself. The young woman wondered what it is that she should do, how she could get out of the mess she's in when there isn't even wifi in the damn forest.

Willow continued to weep as if she found out she was going to die due to an incurable disease then shrieked in response to the young man's voice she heard frome somewhere around the forest. Did it scare her? Yes it did. Was it real? She hoped it is because she doesn't know what she would do if it wasn't. She couldn't move her body, she was too stressed, too frightened at this point especially when she heard the crunch of leaves getting closer and closer. She slowly lifted her head, to her surprise it wasn't a bear that greeted but stormy colored eyes that reminded her of her favorite kind of day, a rainy day. All words in the dictionary must've been erased because she couldn't voice even a single one in response to the woman's first question, whatever that was.

Despite the earlier feeling, Willow had felt more at peace at the sight of another human. It also helped that she was calm and gentle. She tried to remember the last time someone had been like that to her but none comes to mind. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand and nodded, "Ye-yes. That is... really kind of you." She said meekly taking the hand the woman offered, Willow turned her attention to the forest to find the voice that spoke to her earlier to which she gave a courteous nod, "Thank you for worrying, I'm okay now. She breathed deep to relax her rapidly beating heart, she was ready to follow the mysterious woman to wherever with her luggage despite her quivering legs. Maybe it was how enchanting she found her, or she'd rather be with someone or some people rather than be alone in the forest.

Nevara Elvira
Nevara stood alone for only a few moments before she sensed the human ascending the stairs into the kitchen. She grinned against the edge of her wine glass, taking another sip as the boy entered the room. She didn’t face him at first, wanting to take in his scent and his presence and see if she could guess which family he hailed from. It was when he spoke that she looked at him, a Cheshire grin gracing her beautiful face, flashes of her nature flickering through her gaze too fast for him to perceive. Slowly, she turned her body to face him, slowly swirling the wine left in her glass as she took him in. For a human, he was rather pleasing to look at. He was more cute than he was handsome, and had youthful, boyish features. Judging by his words, he was also bold, and Nevara knew she wouldn’t mind getting to know him more. Perhaps this trip wouldn’t be so dreadful after all.

“You’re right, I am rather delectable, though I daresay you look quite tasty yourself,” she said, her voice so low and seductive it may as well have been a purr. “Who might you be, handsome?” she asked a moment later. Before the boy could answer, Nevara turned her gaze lazily to the entrance behind him just in time for Alma, the insufferable Princess of Wrath, to enter the room. Nevara rolled her eyes as the demonic Princess rudely stepped between her and the boy she’d been speaking to, snatching the wine bottle from the counter and scanning the label. Nevara had never much cared for Alma, and the two had been butting heads over their differences for centuries. Alma disliked Nevara’s disregard for responsibility and rules, and Nevara was constantly irritated by Wrath’s fixation with them. The two were opposites in almost every way, and Nevara had been on the receiving end of Alma’s rage before. She’d felt the heat of her fire, and yet the Princess had never been able to sway her from her desire for freedom from her crown.

“Right away, Princess,” Nevara muttered spitefully under her breath as Alma requested her and the human she was with to head downstairs for dinner. She took the bottle back from the girl when Alma handed it to her, grinding her teeth when the demon of Wrath winked at the boy she’d been speaking to before striding away. She didn’t bother to disguise her irritation as she looked back at the boy. “Insufferable, that one,” she said. “Follow me.” Stepping around him, she headed for the entrance through which he’d come and descended the stairs into the dining room. The moment she did, she was met with the sight of a table full of exquisitely arranged cakes, all of which looked absolutely delectable. “Oh, my,” she murmured. Temporarily forgetting the boy entering the room behind her, Nevara approached the table and set her glass and the wine bottle on the table, clasping her hands in front of her chest as she eyed the cakes like a child eyeing presents on Christmas morning.

After a few moments of admiring them, she looked up at the two others who stood in the room, eyes lighting up even further at the sight of the stunning redhead who stood beside the table. “Did you make these? They look absolutely delightful!” Nevara chattered excitedly. Glancing beside the woman, she noticed Alan, the lazy Prince of Sloth. She got along well with him, though she didn’t truly have an opinion on him for lack of interaction. He was always asleep when she was around him. “Alan, always a pleasure,” she murmured politely. Quickly, her gaze went back to the redhead and she stepped closer, holding her hand out for the woman to shake. “Such a pleasure to meet you; I’m Nevara. I must know the name of the artist of these cakes.”

Callie stood in the doorway to the room, wringing her hands in front of her nervously, her eyes flitting around the room as she waited for a reaction to her cat freely sprinting through what could very well be their home. Oh, she hoped she didn’t upset anyone. She didn’t know what she’d do. She only had to wait for a few moments before a woman she hadn’t noticed before made herself known by voicing that the man who her cat had chosen to so enthusiastically greet would be more pleased by Moe’s arrival than angered by it. Callie let out a relieved breath, fiddling with a loose thread on the end of one her sweater sleeves. “Okay,” she murmured, attempting a small, nervous smile.

Her eyes went to the man when he spoke up, her smile widening slightly as he spoke about her cat, his hand gently scratching Moe’s tiny orange head, making the cat nuzzle into his hand and purr like a little motorboat. She felt further relief flow through her as he confirmed that she didn’t need to be sorry about her cat’s actions, though she was slightly intimidated by his gaze. These people were much different from those she was used to. They were more appealing physically, and just generally seemed different to her than others. She was unsure how to act around them. When the man offered his hand to both her and the boy with the white hair, introducing himself as Nicholas Galloway, Callie stayed where she was, continuing to fiddle with the thread as the other boy moved to shake the man’s hand. She’d never shook hands with someone before. What if she did it wrong?

Callie made sure to make a note of the other boy’s name when he introduced himself. Colt Bonham. She liked that name. It was different, like hers. And it started with a C too! Callie smiled at her own thoughts, distracted enough by them that she didn’t see the approach of the intimidating woman by the fireplace, and nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt her arm around her shoulders. Callie’s whole body tensed up and she gripped the sleeves of her sweater in her hands, moving only by the woman’s nudging as she walked her further into the room, asking her for her name. The nervous blonde gulped, glancing around as she tried to find her voice. Before she could, however, the woman let go of her and spoke again, mentioning how it was time for dinner before heading for the door, leaving the room with a sentence that sounded more like a command than a statement.

“My name is Calliope,” she squeaked. “You can call me Callie. My last name’s Holloway, a-and his name is Moe,” she said. Gesturing at Moe, she offered a nervous smile.

Nicholas smiled when the young cat started to purr for real as it made itself even more comfortable and at home in his lap. There was an amused twinkle in his eyes, as the other male still seemed to keep some distance. Colt Bonham. Beautyful name, for a beatiful male. Alma pointed out the accent and now Nic seemed to be even more fixated on it. It really gave that voice an extra dimension. Perhaps he was not gonna wait out for Pride to pick after all. This male would seem a lot of fun to spend the rest of his life with. Even though he knew nothing more than his name. "I am sure this little kitten won't mind some extra pets from another pair of hands," the demon chuckled as he noticed how those blue eyes kept stealing glances of the cat in his lap.

However the lovely relaxing moment was broken when Alma became restless. Unlike him it seemed like she always had to move and always had a purpose or something to do. Now making the poor insecure woman her victim as she grabbed the lady around her shoulders. "Hey, hey, careful, little one," he hummed with a soft voice. The cat had been enjoying itself so much the little claws were pulling on his shirt. Normally he wouldn't mind much, but this was rather fragile fabric. His finger gently moved those paws with the utmost care more downwards so they were on his legs. His pants could take some damage from those claws. "Little Moe and miss Holloway," he repeated as he looked up towards the girl, "Calliope is a pretty name. One of the nine muses from Zeus, right?" He knew some of those myths that humans liked to believe in. Mostly the Ancient Greek, Roman and Nordic stories had his interest. Though he had lived in neither of those time periods. Such a same.

"But Alma.... The Cat Rules," Nicholas complained when the demon of Wrath decided it was time to get moving. He gestured down to the little animal that was still pieceful purring on his legs. He knew better than to challenge the leaving lady though. Not because he was afraid of her anger, fury and wrath. He had burned himself often enough on her flames in the younger years, but more so because he knew how important this was to her. It was her year to host the annual meeting and then to have to host this special meeting. He knew there lay a lot pressure on her shoulders, even though the princess surely carried it well and with such grace no one would be any wiser. He knew. He knew her vulnerable sides and her insecurities like no other. So he would comply... even with some complaining.

His hand ran down of the back from the small creature. "I am sorry, little man, but Lady Cole is right." He sighed, almost with a heavy heart as he carefully moved further up straight. He gave the little animal all the time to adjust, before he stood up. Now he was almost eye to eye with the human male, the other may have won an inch over him. His hands had moved around the young animal, in case the cat had not decided to jump and run off. Oh, he wouldn't mind carrying the little creature around, even though he knew it was not his cat. "Very well, let's go then, Sir Bonham, Lady Holloway," he said with a grin. He stepped through the doorway, that had no door, into the small dining room that was a bit darker than the living room. Not something he minded.

"Ah, Alan, my man," Nicholas happily greeted his friend. Their friendship didn't go as deep as with Alma, but still they enjoyed their time together. Even if it was most of the time spend napping. Not that they saw each other often. Aergia was way too bright for him, and Tenebris was too much hassle with traveling for Alan to come his way. So they mostly only saw each other during the annual meetings, more often than not sneaking off in the disguise of his shadows to nap through some boring talks, before the dancing and drinking started in the night. "I am very surprised that you are making a quite... decent appearance," he grinned as he gave him a bear hug. His fingers for a moment playing through those long blond locks, before letting go of the other again.

Nevara's voice sounded behind him, and it was only then that Nic noticed the bright and beautiful cakes behind him. Though he could appreciate the artwork, sweets had never been his thing really. His eyes traveled up towards the red haired lady that seemed to have been working on the cakes until recently. "What did you do to scare her like that, Alan?" he joked. The demon was an absolute sweetheart and would never ever hurt a soul. Simply because it would be way too much effort. The girl on the other hand seemed thoroughly frigthened, even more so than lady Holloway before. "I would introduce the two guests we found, or more found us, but I guess it would be best to wait until we are all complete?"he suggested, "otherwise we end up just repeating our names over and over and over again." Being the second oldest, it was merely logical for him to take the command for now that Alma had not yet returned from her round of gathering everyone.

The Prince of Envy grabbed one of the chairs and pulled it back. "Lady Holloway?" he spoke gently. He may be a demon, he did have some manners. He skipped the chair next to it and pulled out the third chair as his amber eyes found the male. "Sir Bonham?" He gestured towards the chair as an open invitation. Neither of them were required to follow up on it. "I told you there would be more people," he said. He himself chose the chair in between of the two he had just met. Alma would take the head of the table, since she was the host of this event. And without question Pride would take the other end of the table, because Pride was Pride and always had to put themselves in that attention seeking spot. He rolled his eyes a bit, even just thinking about Pride made his skin crawl.
