Application​

Being a Helper is more than just helping. You are a representative of the community and are expected to be an upstanding member. Please do not mistake being a Helper as being a quasi-moderator. Helpers are not here to moderate content nor misrepresent themselves as such. Helpers are there to help both the community and the Staff. Please fill out the application entirely. Just a note, while we know BBCode is fun, we'd appreciate keeping it minimal for your application so Staff can read and review the information easily.

Why do you want to become a Helper?

How have you helped the RpNation Community? (Such as welcoming or guiding new members, answering questions, etc.) Linking to the content would be appreciated.

Helpers may be a single team, but they can focus on many tasks. Which of the following are you interested in helping with? You can select more than one.

1. Monthly Newsletter
   • Helping to select features for the newsletter as well as editing/formatting.
2. Badges
   • Helping to create the monthly badges for our Supporters as well as the custom badges. Artistic skill is needed for this. Please include an example of a 32x32 pixel art image with your application. The theme can be of your choosing, but it has to be your own art.
3. Mentoring New Members
   • Personally guiding new members and helping them directly on a one on one level.
4. Events/Contests
   • Help organize, run, and vote on contest and events hosted on the site. Doing so makes you ineligible to participate in them.

As a Helper, you will be expected to engage in the RpNation community. This can include things such as:

• Welcoming new members to the site in their Introduction posts.
• Answering questions if you are able and knowledgeable on the matter, or bringing a question to Staff attention.
• Directing users to helpful resources on the site, such as guides and tutorials, Staff Contact, etc.
• Reporting content you encounter that violates the site's policies.
• Helping members to the best of your ability.

Are you certain you have the time to dedicate to fulfill the requirements of being a Helper?
