Alisana is quite the world's woman. Charisma is her middle name. She's never met a soul that didn't like her. She doesn't stick her nose up about it though. Her heart is very pure and humble. Rage is an issue of hers. At times she can be pushed past her limit, and then she full sends it. Alisana has a lot of trust issues with women due to her relationship with her mother.

Alisana was born to Queen Rohana and King Otto of Tiamat. Deeming her Heir to Tiamat. She didn't ever study for how to be fit for the role. Somehow it just came to her naturally. Alisana had all the resources she could dream of in the world, but she preferred to earn it. In her eyes, she was no different than anyone else in the world.
King Otto died when Alisana was eight. Alisana found him on the floor of his own chambers, seemingly slain by a knife sticking out of his sternum. Rohanna told Alisana that her father ended his own life, when in reality it was a successful assassination attempt. She did this in attempt to provide Alisana the opportunity to feel safe in her own home. This caused Alisana immense grief and confusion and added to the suspicions of the people. Rohanna forbade the truth being given to Alisana as treason.

As Alisana got older. She began to train in the art of warfare. A staple of her kingdom. Rohanna didn't like the idea. She didn't want her daughter to be able to inflict such violence. Alisana didn't care. Because of this. Rohanna made haste in trying to marry off Alisana. Alisana made it clear that she would not marry, unless that very person could defeat her in combat. Due to Alisana's dedication to combat, many tried and failed.

As tensions rose among all sides of the realm, Alisana watched carefully. She wasn't too sure of the truth, but she was certain that there was foul play involved. All the kings and queens had lost their minds in one way or another and she had to do something about it.

Trivia:

• Her formal name is actually in this order: 'dalji-Kalais arMoriga Desarae Zhaynetta' = "Kalais' First Daughter of Queen Moriga, Desarae Zhaynetta"
• Nicknamed 'Dizzy' by her 'handmaiden'/bff KiKina and her bro Ma'Khi cuz whenever she practiced acrobatic routines and hit the ground hard, they would ask, "Are you okay?! Are you hurt?! How are you?!" and DeZhay would answer, "Dizzy... just a little bit. All good. Let's go again...!"
• The nick 'Face' was a half-mocking nickname given to her by those of her mother's entourage and other higher ups in the Queendom. It's also how Moriga views her children; DeZhay is the face, and Ma'Kji is the voice. DeZhay actually likes it and tbh she finds it flattering.
• DeZhay has secretly kept a kerchief with a fancy cursive letter 'C' upon it. It belonged to her first love; the amazing sweetness and lovely Baron's Daughter, Callei. DeZhay dreams about the day she will meet up with her so they may have a chance to be together again. DeZhay vows to make it up to her and when she is queen, they will be able to love each other entirely in the open.
• Loves to play in the woods and has been taught decent hunter/survival skills by her ecclectic woodsy archery mentor, Ms. Kola. DeZhay calls her 'Auntie K' and Kola calls her 'Chaser' because she is not truly a Hunter.
• She has a knack for calming animals in her presence. Also when she plays music or dances in the forest, the plants and trees seem to sway with her and feed off her creative energy. She is in tune with Primal Magic. The young lady is a 'Daughter of the Elemental Earth' thus she is secretly a mage that can cast Nature's magic. Guided by Ms. Kola.
• Her bro Ma'Khi knows of her mage abilities but keeps the secret safe from mother's wrath.
• In public, Moriga forces her to veil her face as is tradition and escorted with a personal bodyguard, her 'Handmaiden' at all times. Both she and her handmaiden, KiKina have a matching set of rings that denotes they are bffs since they were little.
• Cannot fight to save her life, but still rough and tumbles with her bro and handmaiden for fun.
• Plays multiple instruments. Accurate archer. Amazing dancer. Even better acrobat. But can't sing... don't let her nor encourage her. Please.

• Daughter of Moriga and Daegan of Kalais. Only sibling, Mahano Khitani is younger than her by 2 and a half years. She is first heir to the throne of Kalais.
• Daegan was murdered by 'mage extremists' when DeZhay was 7 and Ma'Khi 4. They were publically executed to set an example of those who would oppose the throne.
• Groomed and trained to follow in her mother's image and to rule over the 'Queendom'. Moriga is an intellect, strategist and has great foresight. But she is too proud of her daughter's looks and coddled DeZhay a bit too much. Moriga raised her son to stand in the line of fire when dealing with the public. Ma'Khi serves proudly as mouthpiece to the people since he is a mama's boy and does anything for Moriga. Yes, the people do like it when the Queen speaks, yet the people feel secure with a male rep to dole out speeches and decrees on behalf of Moriga too.
• As a child, she was trained as an acrobat and dancer and musician to perform for other nobles, reps and well-to-dos when in the palace proper. She flourished in the spot light and became quite accomplished and all would look forward to coming to the palace to see the elabourate and extravagant shows put on for them. She also an accomplished speaker and socialite that plays envoy/rep for Kalais, but she still performs acts in the palace to this day.
• At the same time, she was encouraged to take up hunting and fell under the wing of Ms. Kola. The eccentric woodslady did teach her survival/hunting skills but it was the other guidance that DeZhay yearned and trained harder; Elemental Earth magic. Kola herself was not a mage, but was 'in tune' with nature. DeZhay however, could manipulate the spirits and mana of Earth herself and became quite the invoker. However, this was a secret that they could share with no other esp Queen Moriga.
• Moriga has slowly come undone mentally over time and is now moreso than ever trying to preserve power for her bloodline. She may seem to be an absent leader for Kalais but she really does have a firm grasp of what's going on. She is just in constant study to not only figure out how magic works but to nullify it to benefit her children and beyond. She fears a coup through magic users thus she oppresses them. Yet despite the heavy-handed treatment of suspected mages and her manic obsession regarding magic in general in the Queendom, she still is loving and caring of her children.
• But still, Moriga's paranoia continues to grow and so she is pushing DeZhzy to make a granddaughter for Kalais. Even if it means making a baby with her brother. Ewww. Both of them vehemently resist that and just say that they are looking for candidates perhaps in other kingdoms to create a mutually beneficial union. That and it would devastate Moriga to find out that her only daughter and heiress to the Queendom is gay.
• DeZhay had a 'secret rendezvous' with Callei, a sweet and lovely daughter of a Baron. They were discovered together by a chambermaid and DeZhay paid handsomely to keep their secret safe. But Callei feared any future missteps and ended the relationship.
• Yet with turmoil and collapse on the rise, DeZhay knows this is her opportunity to leave the confines of Kalais, esp the pressure of her mother's increasing madness, and do some good for her people by meeting with the other envoys/reps at the summit of Uppsala in the mountains. ...and maybe find time to visit Callei and win her over once more.

Loreena is a very kind and personable person. She is the kind of person who would give you everything she had if it meant your happiness.
Some see her as naive because of this. Always seeing the best in people. But because she looks for the best; doesn’t mean she can’t see the bad.
Loreena is kind, yes, but she also has a rebellious nature. She doesn’t care much for the ways of the royals, and how they do things.
She’ll say and do things that may be seen as “improper” by those around her.

Loreena was raised by her fathers side, King Keita. She loved and adored her father; following every word he said carefully.
She grew up with kindness and charity towards others.
As a child she thought her kingdom was perfect; providing homes to those in need and giving when they could.​

Although thinking and hearing all this, she never actually went outside of the palace walls. Her only friends being her siblings, people around the palace,
and the animals that lived there.
She liked the birds the best. Setting out homes for them and giving them food. Loreena often watched them fly around,
and wondered how amazing it must be to have such freedom. Although she loved her father dearly, she often felt trapped in her life here.
She longed for more; a chance to see her people and the beauty of her kingdom.
But whenever she asked her father he simply dismissed her. Saying it was too dangerous outside.
Loreena couldn’t understand; how could her glorious kingdom be dangerous?​

For years she listened to her father’s commands, but as she grew so did the rebellion in her heart.
So at the age of 17 she made the daring decision to escape the borders of her life.
She took what little she could with her and snuck out of the castle walls.
Loreena told herself that she wasn’t going to stay long; only a couple of hours.​

Loreena searched her kingdom in awe. It was everything she had dreamed of and more.
The city square was bustling with people and merchants and dancers. She felt a warmth in her heart; a pride she had never known before.
Loreena wandered the streets listening, looking, and buying a few trinkets to take with her back to the palace.
Then she saw it, the most glorious bird perched upon an equally amazing birdhouse. Of course she approached.
Loreena was so fixated on befriending the bird; she didn’t even notice the boy that stood behind it.
Loreena easily made friends with this bird, and practically jumped out of her skin when the boy spoke up.​

The two spent hours talking. He showed her around the kingdom, and all the beautiful spots.
Little by little Loreena felt her heart sway for this beautiful stranger. She had never known anyone like him before; so kind and gentle.
She was so lost in his world that she forgot her own, and only remembered it when the sun began to set.​

Loreena raced back home and made it just in time for her evening meal.
Of course she had some suspicion on her, but she brushed it aside with losing herself in her horse ride.
Yet in her heart she smiled at the truth of what her day had been. So began her double life.​

Almost every day she would sneak out and meet the boy, whom she learned was named Axel. Their love for each other grew day by day.
Loreena was so love-struck and excited with her new life; she forgot that it was forbidden.
One of her siblings started becoming suspicious of her, so they told their mother.
Whom in turn put a tail on Loreena to see where she would go. Nevertheless, she continued on with her new routine.
Until one day something terrible happened. Loreena finally found out why her kingdom was dangerous.​

When she snuck out to see Axel; he was nowhere to be found. So she went to his home, and there she asked his mother.
Axel’s mother fell to her knees and started sobbing uncontrollably.
Loreena’s heart sank. It couldn’t be true. Her love, her only true love. No.​

In her grief she didn’t notice the guard that was approaching. He grabbed her arm and started escorting her back to the palace.
Loreena didn’t even care at that point; she felt so broken beyond belief. Her whole view on her world was shattered into a million pieces.
Loreena sat in her room for days, thinking. After she started to pour herself into her studies.
On the outside she remained the same, but inside she was shattered and searching for some solace.​

Haha sorry I got a little lost in the story.
Short version is:
She loves her father, and loves animals too.
She was naive and went out into the kingdom; which she had been sheltered from her whole life.
Then she ended up falling in love.
One thing led to another and her love died; which took away her naivety a bit.
She got so angry at like everything, and decided to help those in her kingdom she needed to take matters into her own hands.
