“Don’t you think you hired too many people?”

“Hmm?” Seraph continued to place plates on the long, rectangular buffet table, laden with food. The table stretched from one end of the room to the other. There were various dishes from Mediterranean grilled meat to fried rice to lobster to the boxes of pizza piled at the end. Colorful pastries and tarts made up the desert section. Fruits as well, finely sliced and plated. There were even vegetarian options for those who lived a more vegan lifestyle. She didn’t think any of the heroes that applied for the agency listed they were vegan, but it was better to be safe than sorry when preparing food for a party.

Naturally, Seraph herself cooked none of it.

“When you said we needed more help to run this agency, I figured a couple more heroes and maybe some sidekicks. You hired 12 heroes.”

“One of them isn’t one,” Seraph replied merrily as she finished with the plates. “Pass me the crate of wine bottles please, Rei-kun~The one beside your foot.”

“We’re at work, so try to stick to my hero name.” Nonetheless, the young man decked in sleek red and black armor did as told, one hand lifting the crate while the other held onto the stack of papers he’d been browsing through. Removing himself from the couch, he made his way to where a white-winged girl waited expectantly. Even when she used the word ‘please’ it was with full expectation that she would be listened to. Yanagi hadn’t changed much since they graduated UA. Then again, it hadn’t been too long since they graduated either. “If you’re talking about the secretary, don’t you think his background is a little…shady?” ( GasMaskie GasMaskie )

“O~hohoho! That’s exactly why I hired him.” Eyes gleaming with pleasure, the redhead took the crate and opened it. “Don’t you think it’s interesting? If I’m going to hire anyone to handle our office work, I want them to be interesting.”

“It has nothing to do with his looks?”

“...a little.”

At least she was honest. Rei-kun, hero name Infinite Zero, sighed. “In any case, you can hire anyone you want so long as you’ve got the money to pay them. I assume Yusuke Yanagi is the one sponsoring us?”

“Yes. But only as long as we produce results. Grandfather’s not that much of a doting grandpa.” Seraph replied as she lined the bottles on the table. “He’s just given us an initial capital to get started. Everything else is in our hands.”

The new office building. The new furniture. The modern equipment Infinite Zero wore. Everything was paid for by the spending money Seraph’s parents had given her. It was nothing she’d earned herself. Seraph was glad to be born a Yanagi. Proud of her family’s wealth. However, she also wanted to prove herself. To step out of her grandfather’s shadow and into the real world. The opening of the Heavenly Hero Agency would be her debut as a hero. Hers, and Infinite Zero’s.

Infinite Zero nodded, causing his hair to rise slightly as his eyes once more scanned the applications. These were the people that would be helping them.

“Anyone stand out to you?”

“Superbman.I can’t imagine why a hero with a history like his would apply to a small agency like ours and not Endeavor’s.” ( Zamasu Zamasu )

Seraph giggled. “Just ask him when he arrives. That’s why I invited them all here, after all. It’s good for everyone to meet each other before the official opening.”

Infinite Zero inclined his head in agreement, static crackling. “I look forward to seeing Kyuu-san again as well.” ( Lucem Lucem )

“Oh~? Mr. Oblivious-to-everything-but-heroism actually remembers someone from school?”

Zero frowned. “He was a participant in the School Festival our first two years. Given his quirk, I was fortunate that we never ended up facing each other in battle. His showings in combat were quite impressive.”

“Hehe, yeah, that sounds like something you’d remember. Both Shu-sempai and Melia-sempai ( ClownPope ClownPope ) were part of the same graduating class. There’s a picture of them in the yearbook—there!” Seraph clapped her hands. “Food is all set. Now we just wait for the other Heavenly Hero Agents to arrive and the party can begin~ ”

Infinite Zero glanced at the long table of food incredulously before returning to one of the couches near the entrance of the the lobby. Parties and such weren’t his specialty so he was inclined to leave it all to Seraph.

He raised the paper to his face, making sure he was at the address he'd written down. "I guess this is the right place," Kai said to himself, looking at the building. Not wanting to risk showing up late and making a bad first impression, he'd missed the mark in the opposite direction and arrived early. That was worse than arriving fashionably late. But since he was here, he couldn't just stand outside the door all day. Damn, now that he was here he was nervous. The nine foot tall alligator-looking hero stood awkwardly outside the building, backing up a few steps and then walking back towards the door, and then backing away again.

Finally he stopped and leaned against the wall of a nearby building and took out his phone. It was a massive brick of a machine, with extra reinforcing added after he'd accidentally smashed every previous phone he'd ever owned. Chances were very good that this one would be broken soon too. Kai and electronics weren't compatible, the things were always put together too fragile to survive him using them. At least this one had lasted a month so far. He brought up his recent messages and quickly scrolled past his parents wishing him good luck to find the messages from his friends. These messages were wishing him good luck as well, in so many words. Naoto had told him that if he was worried about first impressions so much he should just kick the door down and barge in roaring that he was the leader now. Kai could imagine his friend's entertained laughter as he'd imagined and typed out that scene. Selene had simply said that he'd do fine, with a bunch of thumbs-up emoji. From her that was quite the encouragement. One friend busy at work on some secret support project, the other fast on her way to a top hero spot. He was the odd one out, the one being left behind. He really needed this to work out.

Kai crumpled up his paper of scribbled directions and walked back across the street. He raised one large hand and knocked on the door, in rush of initiative forgetting just how flimsy most building's doors were. The door of his own home was heavily reinforced. The one in front of him was not, and his first knock had left a deep dent in the surface. He stood, fist still frozen in the air after seeing what he'd done. "Dammit," he finally cursed before slowly, gently reaching down to just barely press on the doorbell, though anyone inside should have been very aware that there was someone at the door after it had seemingly been fired upon by a ship's cannon. Suddenly Kai wished he'd brought a gift, anything at all to distract from him ruining a perfectly good door.

Cru & Jan

"...ion is a little electric or a kick? Let's see, electric is faster, I think, maybe, and has a seat, but it's heavy. The kick is more portable, doesn't have a battery, and might work as an improvised weapon. So, seems the kicks have it. ...Did they mention anything about a loc...," came the conversation that approached the building, between an armored and hooded individual, both faces covered by their respective costumes. A conversion that was essentially one person person talking to himself, both because the hooded one wasn't replying, and the nature of the their quirk was confusing like that. Either way, it stopped when the two differently dressed individuals came across the scene of a human...oid... in front of a partially smashed door.
Their minds raced for a moment, as the thought that the place was being attacked was the first thing to pop into their heads, but the fact the door was still intact when the thought finished processing was strong evidence to the contrary. Both Cru, in armor, and Jan, under hood, took a moment to look at the massive being before them. Cru was, of course, the only one to speak between them, simply stating, "Cooool," while Jan stopped wasting time and starting walking forward again.
Excited about their new fascinating acquaintance, Cru began to speak up again, "So, are you like a...?" Unfortunately, his thoughts were interrupted when Jan walked right past and held the door open for them to enter the lobby... because it was the type of building to have a lobby...
The realization of the situation made Cru lose confidence in speaking for a moment. "A..., um, nev..., hm..., I'm just, uh...," was what he managed as he awkwardly slipped inside himself. He joined Jan to the side, who continued the hold the door for the big man... thing, all the while ashamed he had made a fool of both himself and a stranger.

A tall figure approached the office building, dressed in clothings way too casual for someone approaching such a place. The man, wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue training shorts, was Hiems Gale, also known as the professional hero Cryobreak on the other side of the planet(he wasn’t sure if people knew him here, but he was pretty sure they didn’t). He held a suitcase of his costume that served him well for the last ten years or so. He was sure that they’d have time to introduce each other in the agency. If not he’d roll out in his casual clothes. It wasn’t like his costume had a crucial support gear anyways-it just helped him keep himself cold a bit longer.

As Hiems walked up to the door, the blue eyes scanned the situation slowly. They landed on the dented door, then at the giant person, and back at the other two. Nobody seemed to be in a fight, so there was no need to start one. A moment of concerning the office being assaulted by some door smashing villain went away, and Hiems joined the three as he stood behind the big dragon-like person to walk in the building. ‘This is a new combination.’ One simple thought happened to spark in his mind.

A young man approaches at a decent-looking office building which is actually where the agency is sectioned. This is Jason Holler, the ninth Superbman who was destined to work alongside the current number one pro hero. However, he believes that he still has a long way to go, even after graduation. He fears that his performance might not meet up with the current number one's expectations, and even so, his small hero work won't even cut out for him. He decides to work up small and then work his way up to the top ranks. "I guess this is the place then. No turning back now." Jason thought to himself before taking a gulp and walk up to the door, only to find it a bit dented. He assumed that one of the newly-hired heroes must have uncontrollable strength, and he is right. Upon entering the building, the first person he see is a Godzilla-looking person and then three other normal-looking people. "Well, so much for my expectations, these guys seemed to be a very interesting bunch." Jason thought "But yet, I cannot wait to work alongside them. Wonder what their Quirks are? Aside from that huge behemoth though."

"This is it.." As the young man took a look at office building from a good distance away across the street, he idly thumbed the plunger to the red trinket he carried. Click. Click. It made a satisfying click but remained inactive in his hands. Considering the sensitive nature of his past, landing a better paying gig like this one was a miracle. The fatter paycheck meant that there'd be a bigger buffer before they hit the red again. With traffic coming to a halt, he was just about to make his way across the street when a giant, reptilian creature made its way to the door. Definitely someone who went for the hero opening, he watched with curiosity as the being paced back and forth, seemingly giving up before returning to the door once more.

He almost considered heading back home when the giant reptile smashed the door in. Almost. Three more guys showed up. Two of them in costume, definitely more heroes for the agency. Then, someone else entered. Click. Click. All he had to do was go through orientation, do his job, and leave. Even if the logistics and handling the sort of collateral damage that these costumed freaks wrought in their endeavors was enough to cause an ulcer, he had accepted the job offer. There was no way he'd attract their attention by walking through the front door with them.

Jiro looked both ways and checked his pockets for his stamp and wallet. All there. He check his jacket's inner pockets - his equipment was all there. Not that he needed it for a desk job, of course. But the instinct to carry it around at all times was deeply ingrained in him - the thought that he'd die without it was something that couldn't be removed despite their best efforts. And to be fair, in a world where Quirks were prevalent and villains were on the rise, it was something handy to have in an emergency. The quirkless man crossed the street but walked to the side of the building to the fenced-off patio. It wasn't difficult at all to climb up and over it; though he found himself questioning who designed this building. Jiro made his way to the side-door and peeked in. He wrapped his hands on the glass, loud enough to hopefully attract the attention of his employers who awaited inside.

Seraph stared at the damages to the door. It took all her hero training and willpower not to squeal in horror at the sight—the same way one would naturally respond to a new dress being stained or a newly bought car being scratched. The small, yet nice-looking, office building she’d acquired for the Heavenly Hero Agency was more expensive than both and, even if Seraph was rich and could easily afford repairs, as someone who wasn’t particularly ashamed of being materialistic, the winged hero couldn’t say she was happy about it either.

Infinite Zero, on the other hand, had his hand to the hilt of his Infinite Zero sword at the first sound of potential danger. Interestingly, it wasn’t Kaiju that entered the lobby first, but two costumed individuals that Seraph immediately identified as Tanaka Tsuneo, or Jan and Cru. Then two others came in—Hiems Gale and Jason Holler, neither of which deemed it fit to don their hero costume…though Hiems did bring a suitcase that Seraph assumed contained his suit. As for Superbman, the suit was practically the hero.

Seraph beamed at the group. “You guys are early! Awesome~! Feel free to come in and make yourselves comfortable. This is where you will be spending most of the day when not out in the field. The Heavenly Hero Agency’s base of operations! We’re still waiting for more people, but you guys can go ahead and enjoy yourselves. It’s a party before the official opening, after all. Mingle with your coworkers. Chat. Help yourself to the food. There’s plenty of food~”

( OverconfidentMagi OverconfidentMagi , Zamasu Zamasu , RandomBlobMan RandomBlobMan , Pocket Pocket )

Too much really, but Seraph didn’t want to risk running out of food.

Her eyes flitted to the nine foot alligator that was probably feeling a bit cramped in his larger form. She chose to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that the damage on the door was due to lack of quirk control rather than outright vandalism of her property. His intimidating appearance and inability to contain his powers was probably a reason he struggled to find a suitable agency. If it were up to her, she’d pair him with someone good-looking, or suitably heroic looking, to balance. So the clients don’t run on sight.

Seraph wasn’t an idiot. She’d obviously done her research on all the heroes she’d chosen to hire. Made sure their licenses were real. Their background weren’t too…villainy. All of the heroes she’d chosen were a little different. But they all had something about their applications that made them suitable to the Heavenly Hero Agency. At least, in Seraphs mind they did. It wasn’t just looks.

Kaiju’s strength added to their force. Heroes were bound to break things. Villains too. That was normal in a world of quirks. It was clear that the walls and doors of the agency needed to be strengthened.

Later.

For now, she needed to lighten the atmosphere. Heading over to shelf that contained the stereo system, she turned on the music.

A sudden vibration made her check her phone for messages.

Seraph frowned. It seemed one of the heroes she hired wouldn’t be able to make it. A shame. However, Seraph wasn’t delusional enough to believe that every hero hired would accept the job either. She typed a simple reply telling Luffa not to worry about it and that she wished the girl the best in her heroic endeavors. If she changed her mind, she was certainly welcomed back. InsaneAsylum InsaneAsylum

While Seraph did so, it was Infinite Zero that noticed the rapping that came from the patio’s entrance. Putting applications in a manila folder and tucking it under his arm, the white haired hero made his way to the locked door and opened it. He studied the strange guy who’d clearly climbed the fence silently for a moment before speaking.

“…You must be the secretary.”

Infinite Zero didn’t bother question why Jiro chose the side entrance instead of the front one. The guy probably had his reasons…even if his choice of entrances only made him seem shadier.

“Seraph’s the one who hired you, so she’s the one who’ll go over your duties.” It wasn’t as if Zero knew much about the business/administrative part of the running an agency. He was simply in charge of handling the heroic operations. "Though I doubt you'll have any work today."

Given that the general area where the secretary's desk was supposed to be was currently occupied by a long buffet table full of food, it was a reasonable assumption. Turning, Infinite Zero led Seraph’s hired secretary to the winged girl by the stereo.

Kai remained standing by the door as the others who'd arrived just in time to see his blunder made themselves comfortable inside. Once the way was clear, he stood perpendicular to the half-open door and placed the palm of a large scaled hand on each side of the door where he'd basically punched a dent into it. With a small shudder of force, more from holding back than actually exerting much, he pushed his arms together, forcing the door back into shape. Of course it wasn't perfect, but it was better than having a clearly fist-shaped indent there. It would have to do for now.

Seeing all of the food prepared, Kai was pleased to see several dishes that didn't appear to have any meat. He didn't care if others ate meat, a part of himself could still admit that he liked how meat tasted too. But he refused to eat it. He spotted the end of a banana sticking out of a pile of unimportant lesser fruits and promised to pick that up in a moment. But first...

He made his way over to the host of this gathering, the small winged woman. "Seraph?" He asked even though it was a fairly certain thing that this person was her. It wasn't good to assume things. He bowed apologetically. "I apologize for the damage I have caused to your front door. I was nervous and accidentally used too much strength. I will of course pay for any repairs."

Hiems gave quick glances at the rather exquisite interior of the agency, not to mention the collection of various food they've prepared for the welcoming-he wasn't hungry, but he might use a bit of the desert table- and guessed the two would've spent a fortune to get this business started. Wherever the money came from he'd only have to guess for now. When one of the two heroes waiting for the hired welcomed the group with a beaming smile, Hiems eyed for the dented door. Then back at the hero.
Obviously this person had some mind to keep calm after such an unexpected entrance. Which was one of the basic requirements to do some hero business. Of course Hiems wasn't here in the first place- and he did the only rational thing he could.
"So. It's a bit abrupt, but where do I put this case?"
He said.

Everything seems to be okay at first. There's the music, the food, and even the ambiance. Its all over the place, and Jason seems to be very comfortable with how the interior of the building looks, as well as the host. He makes his way to where the food is at, and there are plenty of them. Jason would pick up a little dessert, having taken a heavy breakfast prior to setting out to the agency headquarters. Afterwards, he takes a seat and begins to lightly eat down the dessert plate while looking around at the people. So far so good, that's what he thought. All he needs to do now is to wait for the other newly-hired heroes and the orientation will begin. Hopefully that the agency he has applied should be worth it.

Cru & Jan
After letting in the last person to take advantage of him holding the door, Jan retreated to one side, pulled out his phone, and began fiddling with it. Occasionally, he'd glance up at the others in the room, often towards others that were speaking, and start tapping at it a bit more. Since they had been hired, they had expected this place to reek of D-list heroes, but it appeared closer to somewhere between C and B-list with aspirations. That was a pleasant surprise.
Cru explained, "He doesn't talk, ...aaand he already ate," he rolled his eyes before continuing, "I haven't, though. I can still eat... technically."
QuirkyAngel QuirkyAngel
With that, he prepared his chosen meal: A couple pieces of chicken, a couple pieces of pizza, and a boat-load of fried rice. As only one other had grabbed food, and the others were asking basic settling-in questions or apologies, that only left one unoccupied. Well, maybe one of the bosses wasn't busy, but he and them already had basic information on each other, and he felt he should probably wait a few minutes before making a fool of himself again, so he sat near the lone one.
"So..., are you, like, half-brothers or something?" was the first thing that came out, as he gestured towards Hiems. "Sorry," was the next thing, as he realized he should probably introduce himself and take off his headgear, and so he did. Kinda needed to to eat, anyways. "I'm Tanaka Tsuneo, or Crucio, or just Cru, or The Crew, or somebody like that... heheheh," he chuckled, taking a moment to pat some rogue hairs down after having taken his helmet off, "Most just go with Cru. See, the nature of my quirk makes that whole thing confusing, even for me, so don't worry if ya get it wrong...,"
"And you...?"

Making fast strides Melia hurried across the street. He already saw a few costumed and uncostumed people enter the building ahead, but was too far away to call out for them to hold the door. He heaved the duffle bag containing his costume over his shoulder and quickened his pace to a brisk jog. His alarm clock had been an hour off and he already believed himself to be incredibly late. The excitement of working with new people made him giddy like a child on their first day of school, which also set in a tiny ounce of anxiety. His fingers wrapped tightly around the strap of his bag as he finally arrived at the door.

Pausing to examine the dented and undented door his grin widened slightly and a low chuckle escaped him. He then pushed the door open and casually strode inside, seeing as this was a work place he didn't feel the need to make a formal entry. Once inside he made a scan around the room not wanting to keep his eyes locked onto anything or anyone specifically. The first thing he noticed was the large reptilian looking human, then on the woman he was speaking to. Then fell on the pair who he assumed to possibly be brothers or something of the sort, the black haired male, the two white haired individuals and finally on the entire buffet of food. The latter making his stomach rumble considering his had skipped out on eating since he thought it would cause him to be later than he thought he was.

Melia dropped his bag where he stood suddenly realizing his behavior might be rude. Who just barges into a building saying nothing? Especially at a new workplace. He thought he should introduce himself but with quite a few people here already he become somewhat overwhelmed not including the noisy music and the words just wouldn't come out. "Uh..H- er..He- ah..." Flip flopping between previous excitement and sudden anxiety, he then decided to just sit down and calm down for a moment. It would probably be a better idea to wait until everyone arrived so he wouldn't have to keep introducing himself each time a new person showed up, or at least thats what he told himself.

There he goes, sitting pretty while taking his sweet luscious dessert. It was rather a quiet time for Jason when the silence broke by one of the newly-hired heroes. He pretty much did not pay attention to the conversation. When he asked, Jason turns and takes a very good look at the man who spoke. Seems to be a very normal person, but in his costume. Not much a choice for just a normal day, but you never know when to take action. "Hmm?" Jason a raised a brow, curious as to what he wants. "Um...yes? Can I help you with something?" He asked in a polite manner.

Asahi Saito or rather Hot Musubi, since he was in his hero costume, was walking down the street with a look of annoyance on his face with a piece of paper in hand. The stupid district he'd called home had nearly made him late for this interview. Since he was more than a little low on cash at the moment, he had elected to walk. However, on his way here he already had to stop a purse thief, a mugging, and beat up some thugs who’d been intimidating people. None of these wannabe criminals even to put up a fight; they were barely better than punching bags which just made it more annoying. He scowled. What a waste of his time. He looked down at the slightly scorched piece of paper in his hand; he’d nearly burnt it to ash in the fight. Asahi squinted at what was left of the address. Wait . . . had it been an interview? He couldn’t remember. Hot Musubi had been applying to hero agencies left and right, but this had been the first positive response he’d gotten. Not everyone could handle this much talent. It was from the Angelic Agency? No, that didn’t sound right. Maybe it was the Celestial Company. He shook his head still unsure. Maybe he should have read it more carefully, but its name didn’t really matter. What mattered is that is was funded by some rich, big shot. He smirked. Now was his shot to start raking in the big bucks. He stopped in front of what he believed to be the building. If he was lucky, pretty soon he’d be driving here with his ferrari.

Asahi stopped and examined the building. He’d expected it to be a bit bigger considering its sponsors, but it was still pretty nice and way out of his price range. His eyebrow twitched with annoyance. Only rich people build a building with this much fucking glass. I mean how do you even keep it clean? He wondered to himself. And what if the glass breaks? He shook his head. They probably had butlers or servants of some kind. He reached for the door but paused when he felt an indent in it. “...what the fuck?” It looked like the servants already had something to fix. He pushed open the door and strolled into the lobby keeping his glasses on. He looked around the room. He could dig the music, the smell of the food made his stomach growl, and some of the heroes actually looked competent (most notably the giant croc-man-thing), but he still found himself disappointed “...it’s a total sausage fest”. He grumbled. His eyes came to rest on the solitary female. She was definitely cute, but she seemed a bit young. He then began looking around the room once again to see if he could pick out the boss. “So is the big boss man here yet?”

Cru
Cru just stared at Jason for a moment. This guy was asking to get killed with that kind of awareness. After his more extended introduction, he couldn't decide it he should be angry or amused. After all, it was like responding to long text with "k", but he couldn't tell whether he was being messed with. Torn between said annoyance and amusement, Cru summarize his introduction with a smile, though one that was on edge, "I. am. Cru... Who. are. you?"
Zamasu Zamasu

"Incoming Transmission," was the small robotic voice that came from Cru's phone. He quickly pulled it out and quickly put it away after a glance. Looking around to locate any newcomers, there was one who stood out as the only other that had come in costume. For some reason, he looked like a demon hunter, but also a showboat. Since he was busy, he lazily gestured towards Seraph and... Infinite Zero (That was something to bring up later), but wasn't sure if he was seen.

Jason finally got his marbles, realizing that Cru just wanted to know who he is. He quickly finishes his dessert, takes a moment to burp, say 'excuse me', and take a breather, wipe his cream-smothered lips, and then he says in a polite tone "Nice to meet you, Cru. The name's Jason Holler. So what brings you here in the agency? Work? Money?"

The loud rumble of an engine came to a stop as Shū parked his vehicle in front of his new workplace. Removing the helmet from his head, he took a good look at the office building as ebony bangs swayed in front of his golden eyes. While it may not have been as luxurious as some of the other agencies he had worked at before, it was a palace compared to the place he called home.

Grabbing the plastic bag hanging from one of the handlebars, the young man sauntered over to the set of double doors. After spotting the dented beige surface, he had a guess as to who was responsible. While he hadn't entered the building yet, he could clearly see what looked like a big reptile through the glass. People from across the street could probably see them.

Pushing open the battered door, Shū briefly scanned the room before lazily raising his free hand as a greeting. "Yo." The almost bored-sounding tone of his voice seemed to match the neutral expression on his face. With the door closing behind him, he pocketed the hand as he walked further into the building.

He got a view of the party from outside, but he could see things much better now. The first thing he noticed was the tall person standing next to a stereo. Yeah, the picture was clear now. Definitely a big lizard, or something like that. He didn't really pay much attention to the scales and stuff, but instead focused on the man's size. Having someone like that around would be a good thing. If the guy was as strong as he was big, then Shū would be looking forward to fighting him at some point.

Aside from the big guy, nobody else really stood out. A few heroes were already wearing their work clothes, but some kept things casual. Shū's costume wasn't very flashy, and he didn't use any support items, so it was pretty easy to conceal it under his civilian attire. He came with only a white shirt and jeans, along with a black jacket. While his financial situation made it difficult to fill out his wardrobe, he always preferred a simple style, so things worked out that way.

While most of the new hires didn't really catch his attention, the two employers were a different matter. One of them was obscured by a larger body, but he could still spot the white feathers of her outstretched wings. While she was called Seraph in the hero world, he first knew her as Aki Yanagi in high school. Considering her family and connections, it was hard for people not to take notice of her, but Shū wasn't interested in things like that. He took notice of the girl for her accomplishments as an individual. While she wasn't standing on any podiums at the festivals, earning an internship at Hawks' agency was still impressive.

Unlike the host who was already being approached by several people, the other familiar face was standing alone. Infinite Zero. During his last two years of high school, Shū took notice of Rei Mugen. As a fellow winner of the Sports Festival, it was only natural that he'd have his eye on the kid. It was a shame that they never got to fight before graduation. He'd have the chance to make up for that now. The reason he decided to join up with the Heavenly Hero Agency was because of Rei and Aki. Well, that and the money. It was a senior's duty to look after their cute underclassmen.

Walking over to the white-haired man, Shū offered the plastic bag in his hand. "Here." Through the small gaps, silver cans of beer could be seen inside. "A gift." One of his grandfather's lessons was that a person should always bring gifts during occasions like a housewarming. While a hero agency wasn't exactly a house, it was close enough. Of course, he made sure that the drinks were nonalcoholic. They may have been his new bosses, but both of them were still minors.

While Shū was tempted to challenge the man to a fight, there were too many people around. A crowded space didn't make for a good arena. There were also other things that needed his attention. He had been eyeing the table of food ever since he walked in. A lack of money made it difficult to eat.

"Later." Giving his old schoolmate a pat on the shoulder, Shū made his way to the food. It was quite a spread, having many different types of dishes. With the large amount that had prepared for the party, there'd be more than enough for everyone. Knowing that, he didn't hesitate to fill his plate with some of everything. For someone that could eat so much, his figure never seemed to change. It was truly a wonder where all the food went.

Why did Holler sound familiar? "Well, ya. It is a workplace, so I did come to work... for money. And, ya know, it being a hero agency, I also for the whole 'giving back to people', yada yada, morality stuff," Cru responded, a little confused by the question?
He paused a moment to take a bite of rice, but another realization nearly caused him to choke on it, "Wait-wait-wait! I'm sorry, I haven't spoken to many foreigners. Do I need to speak slower? Or simpler? Are you okay with speaking Japanese?"
---
Another quiet notice came from his phone.

A social function. Brilliant. Though he didn't care much for this sort of celebration, it'd certainly keep moral up. That's how Jiro rationalized it anyways. A curt nod was all that he could do in response to the white-haired hero. He doubted that he was captured by an evil organization and experimented on too, however. Nowadays, it's make more sense to assume that strange hair colors or appearances were because of Quirks. While Quirk acceptance was on a meteoric rise, where did that leave someone like him? The majority had quickly become the minority in a few decades - and that new minority was biologically outdated. He shook his head - now wasn't the time for this.

He followed silently behind his other superior - noting the appearance of another person who handed Rei a bulging plastic bag. The casually-dressed secretary couldn't help but wonder if that was another hero affiliated with the agency or just an old friend dropping by. Whatever the case, it seemed like he handled this about as well as he did. Perhaps he didn't want to stand out either? After that brief gift exchange, Jiro spotted a pair of wings with a girl attached along with the giant creature that had broken the front door earlier. He seemed civil enough, though he seemed like the sort of hero who left behind a trail of collateral damage every time they stepped foot outside. He approached her, stepping out from behind Kai.

"Jiro Kagura. Secretary as of now. As you're the one that hired me, I suppose I'll be working directly under you. It's a pleasure, Miss Seraph." He gave a small, curt smile. This country really valued its politeness and proper language. The winged hero seemed young but still close in age to him. A pretty face for sure, but he found his eyes wandering briefly to her wings. A feeling welled up within him - though it certainly wasn't envy. He certainly wouldn't be vocalizing his thoughts about it right now. Perhaps never.

"Nice to meet you as well." He turned and addressed the giant reptilian hero. It'd do well to at least get the names of the most the of the people here. Future colleagues, assuming they didn't suddenly stop showing up to work one day or get killed in action.

Jason raised a brow, confused by what Cru have said and realized. Maybe he isn't used to speaking with foreigners. Jason scratches the back of his head with an unsure expression and say "Well...I'm fine with you speaking in Japanese. I mean, ever since I was a kid, I have got myself used to people speaking in a different language. You don't need to worry about that." Jason then asks Cru a question "So what's your Quirk? You seemed to be a very strong guy."

That was good; looks like he wouldn't need to translate everything he said. Japanese was a difficult language, though, so he should probably still avoid unnecessary rambling to avoid confusion. Well, if not rambling was even possible. Speaking of which, quirks was the new subject brought up, but it was his own first, so it wasn't too interesting quite yet.
"Well, I don't know about strong, but... I am, and can create, clones. Same goes for that hooded guy over there," Cru began to explain, pointing over to Jan, who was looking back at them, aggressively pointing towards his phone. Cru ignored him for now, instead picking up his bowl of rice in one hand. His arm split in two, effectively giving him three arms and two rice bowls, as the arm and bowl were copies of each other. "I can take advantage of it and clone objects, too, which is useful for me, but my ability to share things like that is limited," he wrapped up, putting both bowls back down on the table. After a couple seconds, one of the bowls evaporated.
"Now," Cru turned back to Jason, eyes glowing with excitement, "what about yours?"

Jason listened very well about Cru's Quirk, even so as to demonstrate it which he got surprised. "Wow! That looks like a very useful Quirk." Jason remarks. Soon after, Cru asked about Jason's Quirk. This is something that is very of complicated to him. "Well...um...you see, to tell you the truth, I don't have a Quirk." And yet Jason still does. He doesn't want to believe it, nor be aware of it. Asking about his Quirk is rather an awkward question to answer. "But hey, my costume compensates this lack of Quirk." Jason added.

"Quirkless?"
That was disappointing. After a moment of thought, however, perhaps it wasn't all bad. In fact, "That sounds... actually kind of amazing. Oh, wait...," Cru was ready to start his rambling, and would have, if Jason hadn't mentioned his suit. That caused something else to click, and Cru flipped his phone out for second again, just to immediately put it away, "You're Super-B! I mean, Superb... man. Superb... I don't think I've actually ever heard that name said out loud. I'm not sure I've even heard superb used in, at least, a decade... or two."

"Anyways, ...so," it seemed he was going to start anyways, just doing so with a different subject, "Do you understand the ins-and-outs of your suit? Can you add to it? Can it form a cannon? Could I... add to it? Are they attuned to you specifically, or can anyone use them? Can we create some kind of contained gray goo combo?! That could be devastating, heeheeheh."

Hinata Mitsuteru
Location: Heavenly Hero Agency

Heavenly Hero Agency stood in the middle of a moderately populated business district. Though the agency was dwarfed by surrounding high-rises, strips of manicured greenery set the building apart from its environs of glass and steel. Immediately Mitsuteru congratulated himself on his good fortune, and his employer for her good eye. He'd upgraded from the dank alleyways of his previous workplace to immaculate storefronts: this was a sign that Solar Flare was moving up in the world. As he sidled up to the steps before the office, his attention flicked from the modern overhang to the strange group parading into the building, likely his new colleagues from their appearances and costuming. From a distance, he was most struck by the largest, most monstrous looking hero -- not because the other possessed any attractive qualities per say, but because a walking, talking reptile still stood out even in today's Quirk-y society.

Seraph hadn't informed him of this many guests at today's get-together. Mitsuteru's forehead scrunched up as he slipped into the nearest corner away from public view. He had to make sure he'd concealed his eye bags appropriately, with only the lightest amount of product so as to be nigh undetectable. His pocket mirror reaffirmed that he had indeed completed preparations sufficiently before leaving his apartment, and that nothing had happened to his face within the brief, thirty minute bus ride to the agency. Releasing a breath, the hero ran a hand through his hair and squared his shoulders. Best foot forward, best foot forward... what the heck, he always had his best foot forward. Charming was his natural state of being after all.

Mitsuteru made a confident entrance, throwing the already abused door open without restraint.

"Ah, so there was a party going on here? Strange that I couldn't hear the music from outside. Must be the great... soundproofing..." He trailed off. His eyes had lighted upon the massive spread that occupied a considerable fraction of the office floor. Meat... pastries... fruits! During his unemployment period of several weeks, he hadn't even touched real food let alone tasted anything besides instant noodles, yet here lay a veritable buffet for him to partake in. Sadly, food would have to wait; like any good guest, he would have to pay his respects to the host first. Mitsuteru steeled himself against mouthwatering temptation and strode over to the only person in the room female enough and winged enough to be Seraph.

She appeared to be already exchanging greetings with other hires. So the crocodile man was here too, Mitsuteru mused.

"Pfft. Pay for repairs?" Now that he thought about it, the door did seem warped out of shape. "You're still having problems controlling your strength? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Must be a new graduate." Mitsuteru shook his head in mock disappointment. He motioned for the reptile man to bend down because whispering into the ear of such a tall person would be difficult otherwise. "But don't worry, our employer is definitely loaded. A broken door or two isn't anything, really."

As Mitsuteru spoke, he eyed Seraph mischievously, fully expecting her to be within earshot of his comment.

"Honored to meet one of the rare ones bold enough to start up an agency of this size right out of hero school. Call me Solar Flare, angel, or Mitsu if you want. Either is fine."He extended his hand forward for a handshake. "Could I get you a drink? It looks like you'll be speaking quite a lot today, with how popular you are, and it would lie on my conscience to leave our hostess high and dry after you've so kindly prepared all of this for us." He gestured at the tables of food laid out.

Jason was surprised that Cru recognizes him as Superbman. "Woah, how did you know that I'm Superbman?" Jason asked, only for Cru to bombard him with numerous questions about his nanomachine suit. These question made Jason feel uneasy. "Well for starters, I only know some of the ups and downs. I'm still new with the suit, so there's a bit more potential that I may discover. For now, the suit can only respond to its passed-down user, so you can say that you can't wear it unless I pass this down to you. Also, I don't think the suit can form a cannon. Well, the previous user did not told me if it can. I don't know about the other questions, but we'll see." Jason says.
