Brief description of life before apocalypse:
Before the bombs struck, Heather lived with her father in Yarmouth. Unsure on how to raise a child himself, Heather's father became overprotective; she had a curfew of 830, she couldn't have a cellphone, he would bring her to and pick her up from work and school and anything else he could do to control her. On her eighteenth birthday, nothing changed. She continued to live with her father and attend a local university where she received an internship at an insurance agency. When the apocalypse began, Heather decided not to look for her father and even hoped he was dead - she was simply happy to be free of him. However, she soon learned she wouldn't be able to survive on her own and was quickly scooped up by Laden Bates during the early days of reclaiming Yarmouth from the undead.
