WELCOME TO HANABI HIGH !
The school is mainly focusing on the tourism aspect.
Meaning that you will go on lots of trips to experience the cultures instead of just seeing them in textbooks.
There will also be group projects and such [for the subject animation].
However they also have regular classes like other schools and shouldn't be underestimated.

April 15, 2019

The first week of school had already passed by. And people are still transferring in. Perhaps due to the news that it was now a mixed school. Of course, the male students would be all too excited about joining them but the school still had their entrance exams so not everyone could join on a whim which was a good thing. A few of the boys managed to enter with a good store while others were only focused on one thing only: a school that used to be a mixed school which would mean there were a lot of them there. She just didn’t get why they thought that way. Sighing as she walked towards the front gate of the school. Also the video she had to prepare in order to motivate people to come here was so embarrassing. She even had to say it in such a cheerful voice which made her cringe inside. Despite being a happy person herself, it still felt awkward to say the least about it.

Breathing deeply in and out before entering the school domain. Greeting those she had talked to before as well as first years who were still looking for their own place here. But since the school was focused on the more social aspect, they would start to do things more freely in the end. Though within the lines of the rules or things might go wrong. Sayuri had been there once before and never again as she pushed someone just too far and gotten into a physical fight as a result. It was not a pretty sight and her parents were furious once they noticed the bruise beside her right eye.

Taking a sip from her strawberry milk, still having some time before classes started. The weather started to improve the more they got towards the summer. Her favourite time of the year. She would be able to wear her bathing suit and go for a dive to cool off. Especially the ice creams and atmosphere that hung around the people was the best part of that particular season. It was about 23 degrees Celsius outside with almost no clouds in the sky. It felt great ! Sitting down on a bench under one of the cherry blossom trees near the door leading to the main building. Placing her bag against her leg so she could still feel its presence but not be bothered by having to carry it on her back.

Ulysses found himself at the entrance of Hanabi High school just outside the gate. He had come from his apartment which was about 2 miles away, and had walked all the way here. The rest of the students were already a week into the school year compared to him. It had taken Ulysses a long time to fly to Japan, and do all the paperwork necessary for his transfer. At least he was fortunate in that his parents had simply agreed to sign the paperwork and pay the rent for his apartment, as they were not pressed for cash. He still felt iffy about it though as he didn't want to live off his parents forever but it would have to do for now. It was then that Ulysses realized that people were staring at him as he was just standing in front of the gate without moving for a while now, it seems he had been lost in his thoughts.

He proceeded forward through the gate and into the rest of the main school. As he went he couldn't help but notice the difference between him and the other students. There features were different than his, and while they were still taller than him on average they didn't tower over him like his countrymen had. As he continued he spotted a blond girl who was greeting some of the students as they came by. He thought it a little weird as she was definitely Japanese but the blonde hair was not something he had seen here before. He watched her for a little bit longer, which he later realized might have been a little weird, until she broke off from the crowd and sat on a bench closer to the main door which lead into the school. He thought about leaving her be but realized he had no idea where the nurses office was, and he had to report there first. Heck, he didn't even know who the nurse was! Looking at her again he couldn't help but feel he might have met this girl before, how he managed to forgot a blonde who stood out like she does he doesn't know, so he steps out from the crowd and approaches her.

Ulysses puts on his best smile to try and be as amicable as possible. He walks up to her, close enough to where his words can be heard but far enough away so as not to surprise her or put her off guard. He tilts is head and scratches it with one of his fingers, then he speaks up with his prepared question.

594453

"Hey there my names Ulysses, Ulysses Abrams and I'm new to this school. I was hoping you could point me in the direction of the nurses office, I would really appreciate it."

Ulysses says this all with a smile on his face. He's ready to give himself a pat on the back for having the forethought to ask someone for direction. Until he realizes he just said all of that in English. Assuming the average Japanese person definitely wouldn't speak English fluently enough to understand him, He repeats his question in slightly accented Japanese.

Fumiko Sakaguchi

As the first week of school hurdle went by, so did many transfers it was an abundant amount to say the least and one of those late arrivals was one: Fumiko Sakaguchi. Hyper intelligent introvert trying to break out of her bubble and explore the world; something many dreamed of and few achieved, but she had already achieved half of that she was arriving at Hanabi High the tourism school that actually went around the world as she had so wished. She patted down her black pencil skirt as she strode along the school grounds, pushing her glasses up every so often, her expression always staying blank. It had been like that her whole life a blank expression that took in all around her and gave nothing back not even the smallest grin.

The young lady held a small brown trunk, it was torn apart nearly broken in every spot and the handle was duct taped back onto the bag as well as taped shut as the zipper had fallen off, her clothes were stored in it, but they were mostly hand me downs from her mother or from a bargain bin so basically just as badly put together as the trunk she was holding. The only good outfit she owned was the one she was currently wearing, a white blouse, black pencil skirt, black leggings and a pair of old worn brown slip on shoes.

Fumiko walked with an overabundant amount of confidence her body straight up and head tilted upwards as to put forth the look of superiority; she did not feel superior to the other students, but knew she was smarter than most of the rabble which simply made her superior. At least that was how she rationalized her attitude, but it was not like anyone would ever see the real her if she did not snap out of her anti-social funk and run down some of the other students as she had planned to before the first day, however, her legs could not stop shaking and her chest felt heavy as she watched just how many people there were it made her nervous to stand out. She wanted to talk to them, she really did, but was unable to even open her mouth as students passed by her all potential friends that she let get away because she was too scared to do anything. It made her angry at herself, but she still stared around her with that blank expression not making a sound or moving from where she was in the middle of the courtyard.

As Fumiko walked along the path in search for her someone to talk to when suddenly the tape holding the handle to her bag snapped causing it to slam onto the ground with a THUD leading to the few pieces of tape holding it shut to snap off as well causing her clothes to sprawl out across the school courtyard; even on the bright day Fumiko could not feel worse. She sighed and knelt down as she began to pick her clothes up and jam then into the broken trunk although it could not shut, so she was unsure how to even carry them. After a few moments she sat there next to her clothes, slowly, picking them back up with no effort whatsoever she was already done with the day and wanted to go home.

Ming Sato

Location: School

Stepping through the gates, Ming draws a deep breath before marching onward to the entrance. She grips the straps of her yellow backpack tighter. As she approaches the school in the sea of students, she notices the blonde girl from the school's promotional video. Seeing a sort of familiar face calms her down a bit, since transferring to a new school and moving in to the dorms has Ming feeling rather anxious, it's all very new to her. Observing the crowd in hope of seeing anyone she knows makes her sigh, it occurs to her that she doesn't know a single soul that attends this school. An urge to pick up her phone, sit down somewhere and play a game arises within her, but she fights it off. This is no time to keep to herself, she thinks.

Feeling overwhelmed by the crowd, the short girl looks for a way out of the center and starts moving to the sidelines. Ming contemplates going up to the girl from the video but decides not to. What would she talk to her about, anyways? Ming shifts her focus to her surroundings instead. The cherry blossoms in full bloom bring a smile to her lips and the sun warms the top of her head, her inky black hair absorbing the rays. Ming isn't the biggest fan of warm weather. She prefers the rain, but it does allow her to swim outdoors so she is willing to compromise.

Shaking away her thoughts she hears something drop to the floor and turns around to see where the noise came from. A tall girl with dark blonde hair appears to have dropped her belongings to the ground. Without giving it a second thought, Ming decides to approach the girl. She falls down to a squat beside her and picks up one of the pieces of garment on the ground before handing it to the girl. Ming offers the girl a smile before shakily sticking her hand out. She gives herself a mental high five for at least trying to talk to someone.

"H-Hi, I'm Ming."

April 15, 2019

Drinking the last bit of her strawberry milk, made her feel refreshed, though as she was about to throw it in one of the bins, a guy seemed to be wanting to talk to her. Eyeing him as he made his way into her direction, and then he started talking. A small introduction of him being called Ulysses Abrams which was an unusual name for someone who lived in Japan but she guessed he was one of the foreigners at the school. It wasn’t unusual for them to be here since the school had really good results despite it now being well-known amongst the people. Perhaps because the school isn’t that old yet and hadn’t done any great feats such as winning some really prestige prize. Still, the atmosphere was way better than any school she had gone to.

The male then asked for the way to the nurse’s office. Indicating that he was new to the school just like a lot of other people. The students increased with a quarter once it became a mixed school. Guessing that mixed ones were just more fun as they got to talk to all genders this way. ”I’m Sayuri Matsumura, but you can just call me Sayu, most people do.” She introduced herself in turn, waiting for him to finish what he had to say. ”I’ll show you where it is. It’s easier that way.” She commented with one of her cheerful smiles she was known for. Standing up and swinging her backpack on. Throwing her little milk box in the bin eventually.

Though she heard a thud coming from somewhere near, turning around to see where the sound came from. Seeing a girl squatting down to get her stuff back into the case. Her immediate instinct was to go and help the other but it seemed like someone was ahead of her. Feeling glad that someone was helpful these days. She then turned back to the guy called Ulysses. ”Let’s go~” She said as if she was being a tour guide. As she made her way towards the nurse’s office, she couldn’t help but to start talking as it was in her genes. ”So what brought you to this school? Also where do you come from since your name isn’t exactly the standard here in this country.”

After Ulysses had made his introduction, and his blunder seemed to have gone unnoticed, the girl responded. She introduced herself as Sayuri Matsumura. It made sense for her to have such a name since she was Japanese, but Ulysses still felt a little surprised almost as if he expected something else. The feeling was brief but he reasoned it was just surprise and a lack of familiarity with names in Japan, after all he's used to the guttural sound of the English language. The soft but fast flowing words of Japanese still seemed to evade him at times. She continued her introduction as he was lost in thought, her voice then bringing him back to reality. The girl, or rather, Sayu as she wanted to be called, was friendly in a way Ulysses had never seen before. She kept a bright chipper smile on her face and had an energy to her every movement that seemed to radiate grace and excitement, like she was action and activity condensed into a human form.

Ulysses noticed a pause in her speech as he was examining her. He realized she was waiting for him to say something as she was now looking at him patiently like she was watching him for input into the conversation. He sputtered for a bit thinking on what to say and almost saying it in English in his lapse in judgment, before settling on a simple and polite affirmation to introducing herself.

594884

"I-It is a pleasure to meet you Sayuri."

He finished his simple response and made sure to keep a friendly, if not slightly nervous, smile on his face. After his brief response Sayuri once again kept her smile on her face and the bounce in her step, before making a response of her own. Rather than tell him where the nurse's office was she would show him. She reasoned that this was more efficient and easier this way, and Ulysses found no reason to argue on the point. She quickly swung herself off the bench she had stationed herself at, threw on her back pack, and threw away whatever drink she had been consuming. After her preparations were complete she started to lead him to his destination, and he was content with following her. That is until a loud bang of something impacting the ground alerted both him and Sayuri. Ulysses noticed Sayuri turn her head in the direction of the sound. He watched her face morph from happy and friendly, to focused and alert. He followed her gaze and noticed another student had fallen onto the ground along with her belongings which had burst from her trunk. He was about to immediately run over to her and make sure she suffered no injuries, and it seemed Sayuri had the same idea. But, they were both cut short by someone else helping her with her things. Ulysses calmed himself down and brought himself back to a regular conversational stance as opposed to the runners startup he had been in, in an effort to reach the girl and help her. He felt relieved that someone was willing to help and it seemed so did Sayuri as she put on a smile that seemed more proud and content than just full of energy.

She then pivoted and turned to Ulysses, and in a sing song voice beckoned him to follow her and continue their walk. Ulysses obliged, and brought himself back into step next to her. It seemed she was curious as she immediately brought Ulysses into conversation once again. Sayuri asked what his reason was for coming to this school in particular, as well as where he came from since his name and looks pointed to him being a foreigner. Ulysses thought briefly on her words and what a proper response would be, before finally settling on a course of action. Ulysses once again settled into a pose where he tilted his head and brought his index finger up to it.

594885

"Well, I am on what you could call a pathway. It's a way for a student to focus all their classes and curriculum onto a single career so that their entire time in school is spent specializing them in that field. I part ways came to Japan for personal reasons, but am mostly here to further my medical career. I came to this country from Europe and chose this school as it had been the one to approach me first so I reasoned I might as well come here.

Having little to do other than staring at papers or a phone screen the past couple days, a pent up desire had welled inside Ken. One that led him to an early rise for a jog in the park. Not many other people were out, at least in comparison to the bustle of everyday life that would be taking place in a short while. Ken relied on the fluorescent glow of the streetlights and the looming dawn to give enough light so he would not fall over himself. The occasional breeze would float a wave of blossoms that had fell early. The serenity of the early morning allowed him to lose himself if only for a few moments in the steady rhythm of his breathing and the music from his earbuds.

The past month had been rough on Ken, not that he had it worse than the rest of the family but in his private moments the gloom caught up to him. It had been a long time coming according to Dad, him splitting up with Mom that is, apparently the flame had just died out for them. Nobody was to blame and neither blamed the other. The house was put for sale since neither could handle the near twenty years of memories that haunted the halls. Mom still lives back in Yokohama but Dad ended up taking a new position here in Tokyo which is why Ken was here. Dad had suggested to Ken that being in a dorm with people his own age would make it easier to adjust than an empty apartment. Ken tries not to linger on the argument that came from that. He also tries to ignore the loneliness that he feels whenever browsing through photos or whenever friends and old teammates say how they will hang out soon. In the midst of this school has become what he looked forward to everyday. He may not have made friends yet but getting to focus on something not family or basketball related, which was a whole nother issue, put him at ease.

When he felt his train of thought heading in that direction Ken increased the pace.

07:37AM

Ken gave himself a final glance, the third final glance in fact, checking himself over in the mirror. His hair still was damp from the moisture of the shower he had stepped out of minutes ago. A couple drops of water soaked into his uniform that was just a plain white shirt, a look over for wrinkles and Ken was satisfied to not see many. From inside his dorm’s restroom the buzz of activity was starting to grow hinting at Ken to kick into second gear and he rushed out. Swinging his bag over a shoulder that had been laying on his bed Ken headed out.

Coming down the stairs Ken was able to feel the discomfort of early soreness in his calves, the past couple weeks of not keeping on the routine showed. Besides that the jog had done Ken well, he was back to his old self that carried a hint of a smirk and walked with ambling strides. Ken made his way out the dorm and through the campus intent on finding a spot to waste some time. An empty bench along a less active part of the Main Building would do, a nice spot to watch the world go by. In the sun but the weather was so perfect that Ken could care less. He plopped down, sliding his backpack off his shoulder and onto his lap. Following that Ken grabed the hardened plastic bottle from the side holster for a drink. Ice water of course.

Steve Freeling had just come from his dorm to start classes after following his daily routine of having coffee, brushing his teeth, and putting on his uniform in that order. He couldn't help noticing some new faces. Wow. New students keep pouring in. Steve himself had immediately transferred from the recently shut-down all-boys Eighth District Youth Vocational Training School after he and several other students reported the principal and a great many teachers for both physically and emotionally abusing several students. He had found himself in fight after fight with teachers who wouldn't listen to reason. The students of whom many were considered delinquents actually proved less troublesome. He had found himself having to drum up some other students in order to end the abuse. Eventually, Steve and his friends had to testify against these men in court. In the end, a great many staff members, including the principal, had all lost their teaching credentials and gone to prison where they were serving rather severe sentences for their crimes. It serves the bastards right. Gendo committed suicide because of them. In the aftermath, all the students were transferred to different schools. I wonder how Makoto and Ranma are doing now. I sure hope they're okay. The slender six-foot teen had turned 16 just a few days before school started and he considered the transfer fitting after the living hell he had witnessed in his previous school.
He took a breath. That was then. This is now. Things had been great at Hanabi, so Steve wasn't complaining since it was a huge step up. The students were friendly and the staff treated said students like actual human beings. So far he hadn't had any of either try to pick a fight with him nor seen any teachers do the things his last teachers had. It's only been a week, th... He pushed the thought away with a satisfied smirk. Things are going just fine here. He saw Sayuri and a new student who had introduced himself as Ulysses. He'd overheard their conversation and he went over to catch up with them.
"Hi there, Sayu. How's it goin' today?" He called to his fellow student with a friendly smile. He had only been at Hanabi for a week but he already felt like he could call Sayuri a friend.
"Hi there. I'm Steve Freeling. Welcome to Hanabi High." Steve introduced himself to the new student with the same friendly smile.

Trinity wasn't completely sure about this whole going to school abroad thing. The only reason she agreed was because...well other then who wouldn't want to take a trip to Japan it's practically one of the coolest and one of the most technologically advanced nations in the world! She always planned to visit one day which is why she taught herself the language. That aside the main reason she was here was because her dad asked her to. Something about needing to get out more and experience things and a bunch of chatter that she was 100% certain was influenced by her mother. Trinity tugged at the rim of her school's skirt uniform nervously as she walked through the crowd of strangers. It shouldn't be too hard to believe that a girl with thousands of followers was actually really shy in crowds. She was used to talking into a mic. or to her camera to herself not actually talking face to face with other people.

Most people only saw her from a bit above her chest and up, and even those that did because of school, she'd never worn a uniform before. She was usually decked out in her beanie, black jeans, graphic t-shirt usually sporting some sort of logo she liked on it, a jacket, and her hair braided. Now she had to switch all that out for a uniform to which she added black leggings underneath. She had her hair pulled back into a pony-tail braid except for her bangs and a few rubber wristbands with her favorite logos on them. Something had to remind her of home after all.

She closed her eyes for a moment to take a deep breath and calm her nerves, when they got racked by the sound of a loud thug. A sharp yelp escaped her lips as she quickly covered her mouth with both her of her hands and looking around to first off make sure no one saw or heard that very embarrassing sound come out of her lips, then secondly to find out what on earth had actually made that sound. Her eyes landed on two girls picking up clothes and putting them in a suitcase. She quietly walked over with a soft smile and waved at them both before bending down to help. She wanted to say something, but her tongue was still rather flustered from her own embarrassing moment just now so she would just help and go about her business.

DANILA "DAN" ZHERNOV

Not as usual, Danila's day started very early, around 4.30am, as this is the day when he enrols to this new school that his mother has sent him to. Without a doubt his love for his mother is endless and even not being the best kid, he has never done anything to hurt his mother, although he knows that unintentionally he has done it a lot. This school choice by no means was Dan's decision, it was one of his mothers, yet again, which sometimes makes him angry as he feels like his opinion does not matter. At the same time he understands that this is a good opportunity as the school is new, growing and compared to the one he was attending last year, way more advanced. The only issue is that it is also quite far away from where he and his mother lives, other side of the town, and making all that way to school in the morning and then all the way back in the evening is not practical, so it was decided that Danila will stay at the local school dorms and come home on weekends. Back in Russia it is a normal practice to go to school in a neighbouring city, especially if you come from small village town with no schools at all, live in dorms and go home on Friday's after the lectures.

5.30am train arrived as scheduled and for the first time Danila stepped on the train that started his journey down the road that probably he will make back and forth a lot in the upcoming year to come. Already dressed in schools uniform, black pants and white shirt, with the top two buttons unbuttoned, all his clothes stuffed into a sports duffel bag, he takes a seat in a quite empty train which would eventually fill up with people as they get on the train going to work or meetings. While on the train for the sake of killing time, Dan takes out his phone and decided to do a short tweet.

"Here we go, yet again change in my life which is not what I would say I wanted, but probably ideal for you guys as new content will be coming in, describing the people, the school, teachers and definitely a rating of the schools cafeteria."

After sending the tweet, Danila just kept browsing the social media sites until he heard the name of the next stop which was his destination. He stepped out of the train and looked at his wristwatch. It showed the time of 6.45am. Might have been bit too early for the first day as the school started at 8.45am, two hours from the time he got out of the train, but being a very punctual individual, he decided to have extra time to find his way to school and maybe get to know the surroundings a little bit if time allowed. Soon after leaving the train station he got onto the Oiwakegashi street which lead straight to the school and also had a lot of shops and popular places where students and other people spent their time. Slowly walking, enjoying the morning and checking the street a sudden and unpleasant feeling took over Danila's body, that followed with a growling noise inside. Dan realised he did not have breakfast and his stomach was letting him know about it. Half way down the street already, Danila looked around for any food palaces and the Donuts Galore popped in his eyes. Without much thinking he was heading straight for the small and lovely establishment. Mere 10minutes later he came out with a big cup of chocolate milkshake. They had their specials, but Dan decided to go with just chocolate milkshake this time. While waiting he downed one of their donuts which ended to be very delicious. The place definitely left a great first impression and he knew he will visit it some time soon again.

In just 10 more minutes he was at the gates of the Hanaby Highschool, the place that will be his home for the next year at least. Time on the clock was 7.45am and the school was lively already which was a good sign. Standing in front of the gates, grasping the moment and breathing in the air that had mixed with the scent of blooming cherry blossoms it was a relaxing moment. A sudden and bit distant thud sound grasped Dan's attention. He looked towards the direction where the sound came from and it took few seconds to find the source of it - a young, blond girl with all her stuff on the ground. A seconds later another girl approached and from what Danila could understand, offered her help. Soon after that the third girl joined in as well. With time still left until classes and nothing much to do, Dan took a sip of his chocolate milkshake and started to walk towards the three girls, because obviously that was THE PLACE to be at that moment.

Holding his sports duffel bag with his left hand, over the shoulder, and his chocolate milkshake cup in his right hand, he casually walked up to the girls and stood right next to them.
"Good morning, I see you got yourself a wonderful start of the day!" he said sarcastically but without breaking up and smiling or laughing. "Are you girls alright or need help?" he asked right after and awaited the answer.

Fumiko Sakaguchi 595457

Picking up the few items of clothing that had dropped from her leathery case was no difficult task it would have taken at most perhaps a few minutes to pick it up, but as Fumiko tried to clean up without getting in anyone's way another girl had made her way up to Fumiko it was a bit of a shock to her as the girl actually began to assist her in the process of cleaning her things up; back at the crumbling apartment building she had lived in it was a shark eat shark world. No one would have even stopped to ask if she was okay back there, but almost the instant she arrived at this new school already someone was helping her and awkwardly introducing themselves. It made Fumiko smile to see such generosity; a welcomed change from what she had grown to expect from other people the selfish philosophies she had seen so much of before was shattered by this Ming person, so she gave her a glance with that signature blank expression though her eyebrows were heightened in the smallest increment as her way of expressing joy and thanks. She pulled out an old, faded purple, flip phone from her pocket, neglecting the task of picking her clothes up as the other girl seemed to have a hold on it, it looked ancient and scratched to Hell but still in a fully functioning capacity. Truth be told it had been her mother's and since they could not afford the bill for two cell phones she had been given it while she was away to use in case of emergencies; it would go straight to the landline back home, so her mother would at least eventually be able to come to know of any issues. With a few taps of her fingers she had opened up the texts with herself, she always kept a few messages to herself in there, and began typing a new message.

"Hello. Your surname is needed to properly catalog you." She told Ming, in a robotic tone almost like she was reading off a card, standing up to her full height towering over the much smaller girl looking down with complete indifference on the inside, however, she was ecstatic violently exploding with joy at the prospect of meeting a new person and potential friend. "I will add you to the sphere of individuals I fraternize with." Fumiko informed her as she closed her flip phone, even if the girl was not intelligent enough to introduce with her surname so she could alphabetize her among the people she knew she would enjoy socializing; besides Fumiko expected herself to be the most intelligent person there due to a bit of arrogance and personal experience in her hometown. "A friend." Fumiko added to make sure she was fully understood by the short black-haired girl after she did realize how she spoke may not have been understood by anyone not as incredibly smart as herself.

Then the next girl arrived, now the shakes began to come back as a crowd began to surround Fumiko, and she intrigued Fumiko completely. Someone with a dark complexion and such light white hair drew her in it was a gorgeous combination of genetics and she could not help, but stare at her as she helped the other girl with her things "Greets with a wave. Interesting, what is your name? Individual with white hair." She asked in quick succession the speed of her talking picking up as she rapidly tapped her fingers on the keyboard of the flip-phone entering many questions, notes about genetics, and a name section that was left empty for the moment and then as she thought on it she sighed backing up a tad to address the two of them. "Fumiko Sakaguchi. It is customary to introduce oneself by full name. I will add both of you to the sphere of individuals I fraternize with." She greeted, and repeated her line that roughly translated to let's be friends, with a bow putting one hand over her chest and extending the other as she had seen on television; it was how one greeted people in her mind and they had been incredibly rude, but so had she by not introducing at all so she let it slide perhaps they were unable to socialize properly like herself.

And finally the third person came up to them and this time it was a rather tall young man that even towered over herself thus eliminating her animistic dominance over the group due to the intimidation factor of being the tallest; it did not help that the growing group made the wobbling in her legs steadily increase to the point where she was swaying back and forth rather than standing still as she had been. "Fumiko Sakaguchi. The definition of wonderful is inspiring delight, pleasure, or admiration; extremely good; marvelous. You have confused the definition of itself with tragic meaning causing or characterized by extreme distress or sorrow." Fumiko dutifully corrected as she pushed her glasses up adding more to the text she had put into her phone which was a rather rude description of the boy, but she still sought to add him to her friend group as well and decidedly introduced them before anyone could speak up "These are two individuals whom are in the sphere of individuals I fraternize with. I will add you as well." She told him as she turned to the two other girls "Objections to my decision?" She asked as she finally put her flip-phone away making eye contact with them switching between each of them in a rapid succession making herself seem quite strange.

Ming Sato

Location: School | Interacting with: OBESE OBESE CherryTart CherryTart Kitsune2202 Kitsune2202

As she appears next to the girl, she’s able to take a closer look. The girl is wearing the same uniform, though Ming feels it fits her taller figure differently. Ming could feel the aura of hopelessness emanating from the girl and couldn’t help but feel bad. Looking down at her outstretched hand, Ming quickly retracts it once the blonde stands up. Her cheeks heat up and she’s not sure of how this situation is going to play out. What if she shouldn’t have approached the tall girl? She continues putting things back into the girl’s trunk but is slightly startled when the tall girl starts talking. Her voice surprises her, Ming is not sure why or what she was expecting but it certainly wasn’t this and a quiet “Eh” escapes her lips. An appreciation for how straightforward she is, as well as an amusement of the words she uses, does manage to bring the smile back to Ming’s lips.

“Um, Ming Sato.” She responds. A chuckle leaves her when the girl clarifies that Ming has been added to her list of friends. That was easier than I thought, she thinks to herself, offering herself yet another mental high five. Ming can’t help but feel like this day is going quite well, despite her handshake being ignored. The urge she felt earlier to take out her phone has completely left her at this point. Her attention is soon shifted to another person approaching the pair though.

She looks to be around the same height as Ming, which relieves her. She had felt rather small and insignificant in the crowd of students, so it feels nice to have someone with a similar stature. The girl has snowy white hair put nicely in a braided ponytail; her skin is a warm brown color. She looks strangely familiar, however, Ming isn’t able to put her finger on from where she recognizes her. She offers the white-haired girl a smile before looking up at the blonde again, suddenly realizing she’s still crouching. Quickly rising to her feet, she lets the new girl get the last piece of garment on the ground. Ming straightens out her black skirt and wipes away the nonexistent dust on it, suddenly wondering if she is wearing it too short.

“Fumiko Sakaguchi. It is customary to introduce oneself by full name. I will add both of you to the sphere of individuals I fraternize with.” Ming makes note of the girl’s name and feels a wave of embarrassment wash over her for her lack of manners. Seeing Fumiko extend her hand prompts her to shake it and imitate the taller girl’s bow. “Sorry about that. It’s a pleasure to meet you!” Looking up again she pushes a strand of hair behind her ear before looking down to see how the silver-haired girl is doing.

The three are soon approached by a young man matching her hair color. He’s very tall, Ming has to tilt her head back in order to meet his blue eyes. The relief she felt from the dark-skinned girl being her height is quickly washed away, by what feels like a tsunami. She can tell that he isn’t Japanese, though she struggles to pinpoint where he might be from. Ming lets go of a breath she didn’t know she was holding as he speaks up. His sarcasm makes a welcome contrast to Fumiko’s composed, almost robotic way of speaking. She watches as Fumiko introduces herself, as well as… counterattacks his sarcasm? Ming brings her hand up to her mouth and chuckles, though it comes out as more of an audible breath.

As Fumiko describes Ming and the other girl in an almost clinical way, Ming can’t help but wonder if that is her natural way of speaking. When she is hit with the question of whether to object to her decision Ming energetically shakes her head, maybe that was too much. Her eyes widen as she realizes that she too, has a phone where she can catalog contacts. This is of course a must when meeting new people! She tries to smoothly take her backpack off, though it appears smoother in her mind. Her hands make their way to the zipper as she fumbles to find her phone. Once she gets a hold of it, she almost drops it when pulling it out, bringing a tint of red to her cheeks.

“H-Here!” she exclaims, thrusting the phone in the air. “Please give me your contact info as well!”

Trinity Roux 595604

Trinity was content to just help out and leave, so she certainly wasn't expecting the series of events that happened next. Firstly the girl they were helping took out a phone and started typing away on it as she talked to them. Normally that wouldn't be so odd, but the way the girl talked was what had thrown her off. It was like she was a robot, but robots had no need for suitcases, so she quickly internally ruled that out as a possibility. She asked of r the other girls full name then for hers. Something about adding them to a list of people she associates with? Like friends? Were they friends now? Was this all it took? She was seriously confused, and then introduced herself as if to give an example to her of how it should be done.

She caught the first girls name, Ming Sato, She seemed like a sweet girl. She supposed she should finally give the girls a proper response instead of just staring at them since she didn't want to seem rude to her new friends. They finished up putting the clothes away, so she looked up at the both of them finally getting a good look at each of them. They were nice, and if they were willing to befriend her even though she'd yet to say anything then maybe they'd be ok with the fact she wasn't very outgoing. As she opened her mouth to finally speak up another person joined in on the fun. This one little incident sure was attracting a lot of attention it seemed and she wasn't sure if she was completely comfortable with that or not. She supposed this was a part of the whole experiencing life, and people, and whatever else reason she was here. The boy was clearly being a bit sarcastic, which went over the Fumiko's head She decided to answer in the order she was asked things of, so she started with Fumiko. "Trinity Roux." She then switched her attention to the boy who walked up to them, "Nice try, I don't think that'll work on her though. Also We're fine, everything seems put away now." When Fumiko asked if they had any objections to them being friends she smiled and shook her head, "That's good to me."

As she watched Ming fumble about to get her phone out she nodded and quickly zipped out her own smart phone and offered it to them, "If you want you can put yours in mine too." She noticed they were all in the same school uniform so she hoped they'd be lucky enough to have class together. It'd be nice to walk into class and find at least one familiar face, but having now three would be even better. Tonight she might just talk about all this tonight while streaming. "Also I'm on quite a few social media if you wanna follow me." She shrugged nonchalantly throwing in some self advertisement.

April 15, 2019

When the boy explained his situation, she hummed with a lifted eyebrow as it was a little odd. ”Well, I’d like to welcome you here then. But this school might not be the best one to prepare you for medical school as it is a tourism one. Quite another direction.” She commented with half a smile as she didn’t want to scare the other off too much. ”But it does help you to converse with someone, no matter in what kind of mood they are so that might come in handy for later.” Now that she thought about it that way, it might not be that bad for the other to come here after all despite his career choice. It did seem like they had a lot of foreigners coming to the school this year. She just hoped they had a decent knowledge of Japanese or otherwise it might become a little tricky. Sayuri had learned English from an early age as her parents were international minded, meaning she didn’t have any trouble with the language at all. One could say she was bilingual.

They were just about to enter the main building before someone else decided to join them. Tilting her head to the side as she recognized the face of the other but not the name. The usual. Honestly, people just had to wear nametags like in the stores. It would be so much easier for her to remember it that way. When he said his own name in the end though, she almost praised this supposed god that was watching them. Yes, she didn’t believe in them, being a true atheist. ”I’m good, how about you Steve?” She said his name out loud in an attempt to remember it for the next time. A big chance was to fail though as she needed a lot of time to remember names, even from her closest friends.

Opening the door of the main building as she suggested for them to go inside. ”I’m showing him the way to the nurse’s office, you can join us if you want to.” She said.

DANILA "DAN" ZHERNOV
It was obvious that Danila joined the conversation that started before he came, but he still got fair share of attention. Not exactly what he expected and truth to be told it was quite awkward to say the least. The blond girl sitting on the ground, who seemed to be the reason of all this situation as her things fell out of her bag, replied with almost scientific, inhuman way like she would not have no understanding of emotions, figure of speech, sarcasm or any other human ways. Flipping out her phone and saying something about adding him somewhere and them girls being the group she fraternise with he just had enough for the morning. One of the other girls found her answer to be amusing while other stepped in and replied that they don't need no help. The text she started the reply with though added to this whole confusion that he was not about to deal with.

"Tsk..." he would shake his head in deny and turn from the blond girl to the white haired girl "Wait!? Did you just assumed I tried to hit on her? Or what did you mean by Nice try, it's not gonna work on her?" he left out a little sigh while doing a slow blink at the same time "Anyhow, glad you don't need help..." he replied adding a round right hand motion towards the group as in *all of you*, still holding his milkshake.

After his reply he looked up, towards the main building and started a motion of moving towards it. There was roughly one hour left till the lessons and he still needed to check in at the main desk where he would need to get his class schedule, information about the dorms, like the key and room number, probably sign something and be on his way. You would think there was enough time for it, but you never know what's gonna go wrong and take more time than needed.

Fumiko Sakaguchi 598471
The assault of social contact fired at Fumiko did prove to confuse her; she was semi-knowledgeable in socializing except the speed and unpredictability of it in the real world, as opposed to in the pages of a book or simulated practice, proved to be difficult for her, but being the quick thinker she was she took a few deep breaths and assessed the situation thinking over every single option that was available to her in the span of little over a minute. Which must have looked strange considering she shut her eyes tight and took extremely deep breaths, almost staggered ones. Then, finally as she finished up her thoughts she made the decision to smile, it was common for humans to give positive reception to smiles, she had figured that perhaps her lack of one had been why the strange boy had decided not to fraternize with them, and that was not what she wanted, in fact, she wanted the opposite a positive reception to herself. The smile she put on was akin to that of a small child who had no inkling of how to actually produce a smile without it naturally occurring, so she was basically just showing her teeth in an awkward manner. She watched the boy walk off and mumbled to herself "Tsk. An animilastic gesture? One in relation to the feeling of pride? One regarding to lack of reverence?"

To say Fumiko was confused by the expressions given to her by the male would be an understatement, even as he walked off she found her eyes glued to his back, she had felt the strangest feeling at speaking to him unlike she had ever felt before simply the way he acted intrigued her. It was not everyday someone made such a strange statement, then noise and so nonchalantly ignored a desire to socialize. At least in Fumiko's eyes someone did not act in such a way on a whim. It was almost infatuating to her. She then turned her head down to Ming Sato the first person she had met since arriving at the academy whom was holding her phone out to the other two girls asking for her contact information. Probably to keep in touch as friends Fumiko assumed and so she grabbed the device out of Ming's hands, per her offer, but upon fully seeing the screen her dead eyes lit up and her childish fake smile suddenly morphed into a, natural, smile a real smile as she seemed to tap on the screen of the contacts menu a few times. "An electronic device fully incapable of non-electronic keyboard inputs. A fully capacitive LED screen taking in the electrical output of my epidermal layer." She seemed, almost, entranced by the device as she blabbed to the two her robotic voice somewhat altering into one of glee somewhat expressing the emotion of joy even if in a semi-robotic manner where her words seemed planned as if reading still, but she quickly figured out how the electronic keyboard worked, it was foreign as she had only ever held a flip-phone before, and managed to enter the information included in the contact window. She read what was needed such as first name, last name, address, phone number, email, and even date quickly filling in every question the device had listed for her to do. After finished she handed the device back over to Ming her expression returning to the blank stare, besides a new gleam in her eyes, and her voice back to the robotic tone. "My thanks are offered. The device, a smart-phone, infatuates my senses. It forces the pituitary gland residing in my cranium to release endorphins at a rapid rate." She rambled on about how overjoyed the device made her, suggesting a possibly addictive response almost immediately, and how she would have to use it later to experiment with it and with how she responded to the device in future interactions. Until she paused mid-word "I send you, Ming Sato, an apology. Normal people, as defined by my maternal figure, cannot understand my coherent explanations. In less fundamentally factual terms; your device makes me happy." She simplified herself informing Ming of what she had been trying to sum up in her long-winded ramble about brain chemicals and such. Before going to the school her mother had reminded her to try and speak less robot-like and more emotionally, which would mean for her learned a greater sense of empathy towards others.

Abruptly she turned to Trinity Roux, while still slightly blabbing to Ming for a few moments, snagging the phone from the girl's hands before she could react, having a similar reaction to her earlier one with Ming an almost child-like curiosity and wonder infiltrating her mental fortress she had for a brain, but she successfully entered the contact information as akin to before and handed the phone back. "Did the abnormal, higher than us in an anatomical sense, male make a gesture I mistook?" She asked, cupping her chin in confusion, had she accidentally mistook a social gesture he made for something else entirely she surely hoped not, it made her worry a little, what if she was classified as weird again. At her home-town and old school she was seen as one of the strangest people acting in moronic ways that usually got her a beating from the other children, or even from adults she annoyed, but at least she had her mother there to support her in every capacity even leaving that awful place made her timid after all there was no mommy at Hanabi High. "Mother has notified me of social media's negative impacts to an individual's mental capacity. I am forbidden." She told Trinity of her unfortunate ban from social media, even making a child-like whine, as she explained it she had always been intrigued by the capacity of social media, but her mother always told her it was a distraction that would lower her overall intelligence and that if she went on it she would be grounded for a substantial amount of time, so she was forbidden from using, or even extensively researching, it since first acquiring electronic devices; not like her flip-phone could access it anyway. "And I desire instructional lectures on socializing, Trinity Roux. You contain a nonchalant and casual, as defined by mother, attitude that I require to succeed."

Fumiko took a deep breath as she patted down her skirt, it had been wrinkled a bit since she did not properly wash it and that had come to an incredibly annoying point for one of her attention to details, and took a few more deep breaths as she backed up slightly from the two, lifting her suitcase with great care having to hold it by the bottom as the handle broke.
"Ming Sato. Trinity Roux. From my observations in this clear dawn you individuals are, as defined by societal regularities, rejects. In all hopes this is true; I myself identify as one of these individuals, a reject as I have heard. Individuals of common relation survive together in greater capacity than those lacking in commonality. I have the dream of fraternizing for an extended period of time with you individuals. She added in a single breath hoping her message that they are all social rejects and will thrive as friends got through even with her weird language; she was only slighty self-aware but that was enough for her to at least manage what she said in the smallest amount. Her assumption they were rejects came mostly from Ming's stuttering and ums along with Trinity's strange hair and introduction to them initially, as in just the simple wave. "Class will initiate soon. I believe a dash is in order." She informed them, however, stood still too timid to be the first to cause action or draw attention.
