"Gunslingers"

Gunslingers is the name of the largest gun selling corporation world wide. With weapons varying from cybernetic implants to good ol' fashion lead and plasma. With an industrial grade facility available for every location customers could step into the back and take some shots down the firing range. With the largest selection and the largest shooting range, no wonder they can't be beat!

Gun cabinets work like kiosks, you type in your details, swipe your card... and done! All registration info is now digital with no hassle and all weapons comes with a federal serial number as well. State of the art cases made of iridium and diamond grade glass it's virtually impossible to rob. Friendly automated robotics are on site to ensure the most accurate in information and safety.

So what'll it be today?

Once outside the building Miky paused for a moment looking in quiet awe of the establishment. Such a sturdy looking place. Didn't even look like an earthquake could shift it's architecture. But that's what most of the industrial buildings looked like and she didn't gape at it for too long.

She quickly stepped off her skateboard with a light jog. Having finished her drink she threw it in one of the community bins just outside before opening the door, skateboard in hand.

Once she entered it was an assault of reflective surfaces and neon lights. The store was a bit dark but she didn't mind. The employees here were all mechanical anyway. She began walking through the rows of display cases looking for anything that might look suitable for her needs.

She came across the bladed section and peered into the case for a few moments before picking out a couple.

Soon after she began typing away on the provided keypad entering in credentials. She decided to use a neighbors but used her own card for the transaction.

She swiped her card and the case whirred as two separate drawers opened to provide her with her purchases:

She decided to go with pure titanium throwing knives, and a titanium spring action knife. These would more than definitely aid her in what she needed.

Next up she began taking a look at the available assault rifles in their respective cases. She browsed for a long while but finally made a decision on a classic and reliable weapon.

A modern tactical AK-47 with all the bells and whistles. She went ahead and also bought a red dot sight, a sling, and a few hundred rounds with quick eject mags.

She sighed as she wandered through the rest of the store looking for something but not finding it... she would have to... go down there... to get it. Miky made her way to the pistols and purchased about a hundred and fifty rounds and a couple extended magazines, a magazine well, and some vinyl grip  for her .45 and proceeded to the back door where the firing range was located.

She also purchased a easy loader for the magazines, an military grade X harness with magazine holsters, X harness pouch, and also got herself a pistol holster, meant for quick drawing.

She took the pistol out of her jacket and placed it on the wood surface infront of her, along with the ak-47, all the ammo, magazines, attachments she just purchased.

Miky was there for a quite a bit making adjustments to the red dot sight, attaching the vinyl and installing the magazine well but after about 30 minutes she had everything on and ready to go.

She took her jacket off and put the X-Harness on as well as the holsters for the magazines and her pistol. After that she slung the AK-47 over her shoulder and across her back, she picked up her .45 and slid the barrel of it down to the bottom of the holster positioned just at her right thigh. She took the long scope and brackets that were on the AK-47 before and slid them into the extra pouch she had bought as well.

After everything was off the table aside from the remaining ammo she hadn't loaded into the spare magazines... she picked up the safety glasses and put them on which had a built in hud, and the earphones hanging in the firing alley she chose. The earphones went on, and she typed a few commands into the air using the glasses before a buzzer sounded. A target flipped up about 100 yards out with an orange shoot out at the head and chest area.

Miky's right hand flew to the pistols grip her wrist bending, her fingers wrapping around it firmly before her arm moved up and forward drawing the .45 from it's holster, the edge of the holster catching the safety in such a way that it disabled it in that one fluid motion, her other hand coming up and clasping the bottom of the magazine, numbers flipping rapidly the hud displaying her draw time. She was fully drawn now, her feet on the ground lining up with her shoulders, her back straight, and her arms extended but not over extended, a nice 45 or so degree angle.

.84 milliseconds was her draw time. Roughly 20 milliseconds faster than previously. Her eye was focused down the iron sights and she began squeezing the trigger over and over.

1 hit, too far left... hit the rib cage

1 hit, too far up... hit the shoulder

1 hit, in the center of the chest

1 hit,  upper center of the chest

1 hit, lower chest

1 hit, grazing the targets left cheek

1 hit, grazing the bottom left jaw

1 hit, dead center between the eyes

Miky continued like this for a long while, it must of been a good 45 minutes before she finally checked her statistics with the HUD.

83% hit accuracy

44% critical accuracy

not bad at all considering the pistols supposed range... 300 ft out... that's not a bad take home at all. Her reload time including cocking of the slide and re-aiming was roughly 4 seconds.

She re-holstered her pistol, reloaded the remainder of pistol ammo into the magazines putting them away as well before switching over to the AK-47.

Another 45 minutes passed and her statistics came back as such:

167 Yards away

66% hit accuracy

20% critical accuracy

2 second draw time

6.5 second reload time

Miky was okay with these statistics as they were about what she had when she first started using her pistol at prime range. She hit her target 90 percent of the time with a 70 percent critical rating at prime range with her pistol. So she was very confident in her ability to defend herself with a pistol at this point.

She packed up her things, discarded the empty ammo boxes, turned the safety on before slinging the AK-47 over her shoulder and holstering her pistol, which also clicked the safety on. As for the magazine holders there was a bit of resistance from the spandex type material but not a lot, she would get around to fixing that later.

For now she put the safety glasses and earphones back, slipping her jacket over the X harness concealing her pistol. The barrel of the AK sticking out of the jacket's neck. She didn't wear her gas mask today, which might be for the better she was getting kind of light headed smoking all the time. She headed out of the shop

the time was 3:25 PM She did a quick flip through her phone...

"125,000 creds this time... good thing I'm only doing this once... Oh good.. I still have time"

Miky hit the streets again towards her next destination.
