Name: Maxwell Carter
Appearance: Maxwell is a quite large man with a bit of a gut to him, and who has the characteristic skin of somebody who's inside most of the time. He has a squarish face with green eyes, and short, reddish hair. He generally wears fun, weird clothes, usually involving skeletons or 'Tourist' style flower shirts. He carries himself with a healthy amount of confidence.

Height: 6'5" (1.96 meters)

Personality: Carter is older compared to most Gunpla students, but like people six or even ten years younger than him, he still has that sense of enthusiasm and wonder about the hobby and sport. Aside from that, he's a jovial, younger man with hope for the future, and is looking to prove himself and find a niche both in and out of Gunpla. A simple man with simple tastes, he already took a liking to the 'Big, mean grunt suits' of most of the villains of the Gundam metaverse, and likes to get into a bit of a character as some kind of 'Captain Carter' when doing most anything related to Gunpla.

Background: Carter is from the southern United States, and had your average childhood, if a bit well off. He entered the workforce as a software engineer for a relatively big company, and, due to natural talents, acquired respect and a pretty good wage until the company was absorbed recently and he was fired by the new management.

Out of a job, he realized he hasn't done anything for fun in years, and sought to get into semi-professional Gunpla battling for fun and profit, which has seemingly turned into his motto as a Gunpla battler.

A tall, sort of lean, young man with black fringe hairstyle. Generally he prefers to wear a jacket unless the weather is high in temperature. In the Spring and Summer,he limits himself to light-colored t-shirts. Pants are usually jeans or khaki shorts.

Personality: Ken is someone who can find real passion in only a gew things like Gunpla and Gunpla Battle. Besides that, he mildly enjoys other activities such as running and studying. He isn't too organized but can be very messy when it comes to his passions. Being social and talking to others isn't hard but he ends up talking a bit too fast. He prefers to look at the positive aspects than the negative. Also he has a hard time learning general things such as shopping and task-managing.

Background:
Ken was born to a Japanese mother and a European father. His father runs a Hobby Shop which is how Ken developed his love for the Gundam Series and Gunpla Battle as well. Generally much of his passion goes into imagining dream Gunpla that could compete in the World Tournament. Now that he is heading into ASIP [Axis Shift Institute of Plamo] and develop into something bigger.

That's not to say he's an unfriendly person however, just someone who doesn't go out of his way to talk to others if he doesn't have to. He has a bit of a tendency to just completely space out when not doing something that requires a lot of focus or effort, often making it quite difficult to tell whether he's even paying attention to anything in general. Blaine's has a tad bit of an obsession with winning in general, finding it to be the most enjoyable experience regardless of what is necessary to achieve it, and he finds no win more enjoyable than a win from a Gunpla battle. Blaine tends to be rather difficult to irritate, being generally rather laid back and taking everything in stride even if he doesn't enjoy it, but he is quite susceptible to being goaded into challenges, regardless of how much of a bad idea accepting said challenges may be for him. He's incredibly serious about both Gunpla construction and Gunpla battling. He's got a bit of an obsession with Gunpla modelled off of Zeon mobile suits.

His parents are the kind of people who are generally seriously out of touch with the times, who run an admittedly quite successful chain of comic book stores. They're usually out of the picture however, always off on "business trips". For the most part Blaine was raised by his four older sisters, two of whom, Cathy Marshall and Jacqueline Marshall, were actually pretty big names in the Gunpla battling scene, holding many first place positions in tournaments both large scale and local with their custom Kämpfer Gunpla, while the other two, Sarah Marshall and Alexa Marshall, were just fans of Gundam in general. They really got him hooked on the series as a whole, and were his entire inspiration for wanting to become a Gunpla builder and battler in the first place, as well as the ones to convince him to attend ASIP in the first place.

Personality: If somebody could describe Jackie in one word accurately it would have to be passionate. The spunky blond seems to always have an undying zeal and competitiveness to enjoy life to the best of her abilities and tackle whatever is set before her. Now this isn't to say Jackie is an elitist and thinks ONLY about beating others at whatever activity is placed before her, but she is certainly the competitive soul. When seeing others getting down, Jackie regularly is one to step up and drag them back back from their stupor and lift their spirits. Along with her passionate attitude, Jackie also sports a rather intense stubbornness, hardly afraid to butt heads if she feels strongly about a subject. All in all one can find a very boisterous and warm person in Jackie, the girl always wanting to ensure her friends are happy around her and enjoying life to its fullest.

Background: Born in germany to an american father and german mother, Jackie's life growing up was one of interesting moments. At quite the young age of five, Jackie and her parents found themselves moving to Japan, her father having received a promising job offer at some company called Plavsky Particle System Engineering. While having memories of her birthplace of germany, Jackie effectively grew up in the land of the rising sun. A bit of culture shock was certainly experienced, the girl having moved from a calm suburb in germany to the ever alight and bustling city of Tokyo Japan, but she discovered the fast lifestyle quite to her liking.

In the coming years Jackie's life was quite enjoyable, her grades strong and social life pleasant as she went from grade school to middle school and middle school to high school. There was little of the japanese culture that Jackie didn't enjoy, and the hobby of gunpla was something she found herself rather thoroughly smitten by around the age of thirteen. The fact her mother had found work managing a local hobby shop was the veritable gasoline on the wildfire to feed Jackie's interest in gunpla. It wasn't strange for Jackie to hop on by the hobby shop her mother worked at, getting the privilege of snagging new releases before they hit the shelves much to the envy of her friends, her skills broadening from simply building by the instructions to customizing and making the mecha models unique to her.

With her father working for the PPSE, Jackie was one of the first to see the beginning of the soon-to-be massively popular craze: Gunpla Battle. While only getting to peek in and see certain aspects of the Gunpla Battle system during its development thanks to her father's tenure and connections at PPSE, Jackie understandably was smitten at the prospect of being able to outright fight with her gunpla. Fast forward to the current day and Jackie is an avid fan and participant in Gunpla Battle, her skills in building and customization quite decent, and her piloting skills similarly so. The young woman always seems room for improvement with her skills, and relishes not only refining those with each battle, but also discovering new faces to call friends and rivals as well.

Currently Jackie is looking to get into Gunpla Battle a bit more seriously, previously having just gotten into the hobby as just that: a hobby. Currently working with her mother at the hobby store she manages, Jackie hasn't really looked into college as of yet not so much for lack of academic opportunity, but more to pursue the current desire in her life, and that is competitive Gunpla Battle.

Personality: Brandon (or Yie) is a simple and bored man. His consistent emotionless and rather dull expression is usually due to his lack of interest in life outside of one thing, Gunpla Battles. Even when around other people his persona doesn't normally change. His rather apathetic tone of voice and casualness about life leads little to be desired. However, it comes to people's surprise when in the heat of battle he maintains this same composure all throughout, even when backed into corners. He doesn't let emotions run high often and uses that to his advantage as he can calmly glides through whatever challenges are in his way analytically.

Biography: Brandon is a relatively ordinary guy from a well-off family in Beijing, and more importantly he is a Gunpla Fighter from China who has come to the Axis Shift Institute to play against the best and develop his own skills as a Fighter and Builder to one day represent his country in the international tournament. He hopes to achieve his goal through thorough use of the resources at the academy and more importantly building on his experiences through the challenges he will face.

Name: Akarin aka Naoshi Mika

Personality:
An active, bubbly and a borderline nutter of a girl. Her cheerful nature is usually the first thing people would remember when either meeting her or having listened to one of her podcasts. It also makes it very easy for people to approach her and start chatting about anything in particular unless planes or the sky is mentioned. Then she would prattle on for a solid 10 minutes talking about the various things pilots have to deal with while flying with an almost manic glee. As a battler, she shows a surprising level of instinct and a good understanding of attack vectors. A surprise to most of her opponents who mocked her for sticking to a 'support unit' type. Still, behind this hidden genius and bubbly personality is simply a lonely girl with too much time on her hands and no real companions to spend it with.

Background:
Naoshi Mika is born the only daughter of a airline pilot and a TV variety show hostess. Due to the nature of her parent's work, they rarely get to spend time together, either due to her mother's busy schedule or her father being overseas most of the time. To pass the long lonely hours, she took to watching Gundam and fell in love with the transforming, plane types like the Zeta as it reminds her of her father's job. That and Kamille was the first Gundam protagonist she had a crush on. That was when she decided to get her first Gunpla, a HG Zeta Gundam which still sits on display on her desk and was also the first Gunpla she did amateur Gunpla Battle with.

Still, Mika had plenty of time to kill so what's a person with plenty of time supposed to do other than stream herself online? It started with a simple Gunpla building stream where she talked about random Gundam trivia or things like whether SEED Destiny can be saved as a series to attracting the attention of PPSE's marketing division. With the idea of being popular and maybe finally having more people to talk to, she signed a contract and became a host of a popular Podcast called "The Murasame Hour" and settling for the stage name of Akarin. She loved every second of it, the fame, answering calls, the various Gunpla she got to review and her popularity in school. Sure the magic wore off after awhile and there was a drop in views but it still had a sizable fanbase.

Still, something still felt missing and Mika, while having plenty of fans, still felt lonely and detached. Akarin slowly felt like a whole other person and she once again found herself to be as lonely as she was in the past. Still, she was optimistic and, to the surprise of her fans, announced that she had signed up to attend ASIP. Maybe with Gunpla Battle, she would be able to find real friends and who knows? Maybe she'll finally not feel alone anymore.

Alexa is a bit of an odd person. She almost always wears contact lenses of two different colors simply because she thinks it looks interesting, and because she thinks glasses don't quite look right on her. She's rather shy and quite easily startled, often tending to stick to her own business or hang around her siblings most of the time rather than seek out social interaction. She has a rather crippling case of claustrophobia. Her favorite hobby is building Gunpla, although rarely ever does she use the Gunpla she builds in her spare time for anything else other than dioramas recreating some of her favorite moments from their respective series. She's incredibly inexperienced when it comes to Gunpla battling, only having done a few real battles against her sisters which all resulted in her losing quite badly.
Background:
The second youngest of the Marshall family, Alexa had an upbringing quite similar to her younger brother Blaine's. Her parents were gone nearly all the time on "business trips" and her older sisters, Jacqueline, Sarah, and Cathy took care of her for the most part. The little she did see of her parents as a little child consisted of them pretty much ignoring her for the most part and yelling at her older sisters. As such she grew to resent her parents and idolize her older sisters, the only people who really seemed to care about her in the slightest. Her sisters were pretty big members of the Gunpla battling scene, and while she aspired to be like them she didn't really know all that much about Gunpla battling in general, though she was quite proficient in building custom Gunpla. Once Blaine was born, her parents ended up out of the picture nearly 24/7, only ever showing up at home once every six or so months for a day or two before disappearing again, so from the age of six onwards she ended up having to spend lots of time helping her sisters take care of Blaine in his younger years despite being quite young herself. Only recently did she hear about ASIP, and after helping her sisters to convince Blaine to attend ASIP she signed up to attend herself, partially to keep an eye on Blaine at the request of her sisters and partially because she was interested in following in the footsteps of her older sisters.​

Personality: Thomas tries to maintain a laid back and good natured attitude. However, he struggles with those individuals he lacks respect for, treating them as if they're beneath him, not worth his time. In the midst of battle, Thom will give his all, growing more serious and determined. He tends to find himself pushing harder against opponents that pose an actual challenge to him, feeling the need to prove himself. Despite his wild and battle-hungry attitude, he does have a sense of honor in a match, respectful of strength and determination.
