  • Lizzie
    Persephone

Lizzie, undeterred by the fact the woman returned her wave but did not smile, approached her with a grin. That smile faded just some at the woman's frankness, but she couldn't fault her for not enjoying something, could she? Shifting her gaze from the pretty woman to the city, she regarded it carefully now that she stood closer to it.

It was pretty run down, and parts of it looked downright dangerous. Definitely not a place to let your kids roam free. She studied the ruins for a few moments longer before the accented girl spoke again, commenting on the fact that there probably weren't any hot guys around. "Oh, well maybe, you never kn-" Her new companion went on to say that she'd always liked blondes, and a light blush crept onto Lizzie's cheeks.

Grinning somewhat lopsidedly, she reached up to brush a strand of hair out of her eyes, averting her shy gaze for a moment. "No judgement here." Lizzie responded easily, her hands dropping to her side. "Nice to meet you, Ali. I'm Lizzie." Her eyes landed on Ali again, and she couldn't help feel a spark of excitement from the Ali's own energy.

    "Sure, why not?"

“Glad we’re in agreement, then.” Ali smiled at her and spun on her heel. “Then let us be off to find attractive males with whom to flirt!” She strode off toward the center of the town, barely taking notice of all the other similarly aged people around. (Although she did take note of some attractive specimens, but most of them were engaged in conversation. Unfortunately.)

Finally, Ali spotted a male who seemed just as lost and confused as she had been mere minutes ago. Taking hold of Lizzie’s arm, she pointed in his direction. “Look at that lonely gentleman! Perhaps he requires the assistance of two goddess-like beauties such as us. Let’s go find out!” She set off toward the male, taking note of his oh-so-lovely hair and damnably adorable face.

Damn. And she’d thought she liked the face on that Cameron Dallas guy.

“You look lost there, good fellow. I don’t suppose a GPS can be of any help?” she greeted him, crossing her arms and cocking one hip. She wasn’t quite in “flirtation” mode yet. No, she had barely scratched the surface of greeting this pleasant-looking boy. Also, she wanted to see what kind of greeting Lizzie would give him, considering the cheerful greeting she’d received herself.

Raising one eyebrow, Ali asked, “By chance… have you run into any walls this morning?” A part of her hoped he would say no, that she had been dreaming the wall that had trapped her inside this town. But a part of her knew that that hope was fruitless, even if Lizzie and this guy hadn’t run into the same wall. Judging by all the people around, there was something big going on around here.

She really didn’t feel like finding out what it was.

Giving the boy a smile, she added, “Where are my manners? I’m Ali. This is Lizzie. Now you can feel free to answer my random question about walls.”

Please say no, please say no. I did not come here for crazy TV show plots today.

Charlotte Doggett
Outfit: Artemis Situation: Am I drunk? Interactions: Lucia Oriole, Avril (& Cassie) Mentions: N/A Tags: AnimeGenork AnimeGenork
It had been a long day. Charlotte wasn't too fond of planes, and eleven hours had her pooped. As she left the airport, she met up with Lucia Oriole, a pale white vampire of a person. She had been, for lack of a better word, hired by Lucia to shoot down a invasive species of goat in the small town of Arachova. Charlotte had wanted to leave as soon as possible, but Lucia was excited to see an old high school friend and wanted to have fun. Namely, Lucia wanted to go visit Mount Olympus. Charlotte did not. At all. They had been fighting about it over text and in the airport, yet Lucia seemed firm on her decision. Annoyingly enough.
On the taxi, Charlotte picked up the argument from the airport. "Lucia, you know I don't got the time or money for this cr*p. Can't we just go?" She felt frustrated, naturally. This wasn't meant to be vacation. She had a family to take care of back home. What good was a hike up some mountain for that? Lucia had been a great friend in school, but this wasn't a high school reunion- Charlotte came here to do a job, and that's what she planned on doing.
"Come on, Charles- it's been three years since I even talked to you. Can't you just be a bit happier about it?" Lucia actually seemed sad. It had been a long time, especially considering how close they were. But she had more damn important things to do than this. Couldn't Lucia see the value of time? Obviously not. Ugh. UGH.
After a long, heavy, silence, Charlotte let out a low, annoyed groan. "Fine, ya little sh*t. But more than two hours and I'm leavin'. Home." Lucia giggled, obviously happy about the reluctant consent. Still young at heart. Unfortunately for everyone involved.
"I ALWAYS win!", Lucia proclaimed happily. And after a couple hours, there they were, at the base in Litochoro. The mountains did look astounding. Considering the tallest thing Charlotte had ever seen was her 30 foot farm, the mountain looked nearly endless to her. Suddenly, she felt a burst of enthusiasm to climb.
"Hey, um- we're goin' up there, right?"
Lucia grinned, like Charlotte had just fallen for her trap. "I'm scared of heights, Charles, you know that. I'd actually die. But if YOU'RE so excited, I'll stay in the hotel right over there. You can go up, enjoy the view or whatevs. Relax, for once in your life. Don't worry about the cost- I'll pay for whatever you need. We'll go hunting whenever you get back." Charlotte wanted so badly to deny her. But damn. That was an offer. And free money. Basically. Wouldn't hurt, right?

|||||||||||

The next day, she was at the base of the mountain with her favorite leather rucksack. Charlotte usually put her hunting equipment in there, but it worked for short hikes too. She wouldn't take more than two days, by Lucia's estimates. Neither of them were very good at math, but it seemed safe, and Charlotte could always call if something went wrong. Plus, Charlotte was mildly intoxicated and damn it, she was going up this mountain if it killed her.
Almost immediately, she found an old town, almost in as much ruins as Greek ruins themselves. She hadn't seen that on Google Maps. Must've missed it. She was going to circle around it before going in, to make sure it was real and all, when she collapsed. Her body had bumped- no, smashed into some sort of invisible wall. She righted herself, rubbing her head. What the actual f*ck? She just wanted to take a look at the village. What kinda person would put up a...glass wall, maybe? A glass wall, specifically to disrupt her? Annoying little piece of junk. She slowly recollected herself and went into the town. Maybe she was better off not trying to question the insanity of the situation.
There wasn't anything that particularly caught her interest. It seemed like a town. A weird, run-down empty town that popped up in the middle of nowhere with a huge barrier surrounding it, but a town nevertheless. She took her phone out and went to text Lucia that the trip would take a little longer than planned. Until she realized her data had been completely used up. Damn it. No internet. Thank god she wasn't too attached to her phone. Or Lucia. She'd probably freak out and call the cops or something.

Regardless, Charlotte still hadn't completely processed the situation, so she didn't really worry too much about it. Lucia would probably think she had taken the wrong route or something. She walked around for a while and saw a few people hanging out by the center. Maybe they knew what the f*ck was going on. She sure didn't. At all. She didn't particularly want to talk to them, but standing around doing nothing wasn't much more productive. There was literally nothing to do here. And no way was Charlotte gonna risk going further up the mountain. What if she gets trapped again? At least here, she has some form of shelter. Maybe food, if she really looked around.
So, after a moment of contemplation, Charlotte somewhat awkwardly walked up to the pair- maybe siblings? - and gestured to the town around them. "Hey, um- do you know where we are? Like, this town? And why there's a wall... thing around it?" Hopefully they didn't think she was absolutely crazy.

the last few days or so were an emotional wreck for puck. the death of his abuela had taken a terrible toll on the young male and it was starting to show. as his outlook on life grew slowly dimmer, without hearing his abuela's voice yelling him to get out of bed, dark bags grew under his whiskey eyes. packing his things into his suitcase wasn't easy, the thought of dread of flying, and visiting the place where his abuela grew up, only made him sick in the stomach. while he was grateful for his girlfriend's support, puck was talented in pushing people away, even by mistake.

before he left his apartment, making sure he had his keys before picking rhiannon up, puck fonud himself staring at an old photograph. captured in the moment was three beautiful smiles, one tiny smile with missing teeth, another with a cigarette hanging from his lips and the final grin painted with bright red lipstick. it felt like a stab in the heart, an awful reminder of what puck had lost in a few short years. with a sigh, puck left the photograph looking outside the window and slammed the door behind him.

puck couldn't sleep. in the past, he had always struggled with sticking to a schedule, but the last week had been at it's worst. the male woke up as the sun slowly rose, trickling through the hotel
room's curtains. he placed a soft kiss against rhiannon's forehead, treating the gesture with caution as an attempt to let her sleep in for longer. puck wasn't sure when he was going to tell rhiannon the truth, he didn't want to accept the reality he was stuck in but, for now, he wanted to try enjoy the opportunity of the trip. puck quietly shuffled out of bed and dressed himself swiftly, not particularly caring about his bed hair, before leaving a small note for rhiannon.

"gone for a run, text me when you're awake. - p."

with his phone and earbuds in hand, and the need to clear his head, puck left the room and headed for nowhere. puck had every intention of getting lost in greece until he felt the overwhelming emotional nausea dispersed. puck hated death, as inevitable it was, he still hated it. he was never the type to talk about his feelings, and even on the rare occasion, he tended to break things instead of muttering a word about what he was feeling. ugly, nostalgic thoughts floated through his head as he tried to ignore them, turning up the music louder to drown them out. but as hard as he tried, he could still hear his abuela speaking fondly about the places she use to grow up.

"this is where your abuelo and i first met, he smelt awful from hanging around the local smokers and he still does."

puck's feet moved faster as he continued to wander aimlessly, his hands forming into fists behind the pockets of his jeans. he didn't have a clue of where he was going, and frankly, he didn't want one. as the scenery changed, puck's breathing became calmer as the echoing voice disappeared; he was grateful for its absence. puck wandered down the hill and noticed a large group of strangers on the verge of panic and confusion. a small grin faintly appeared on his lips as he noticed a dark haired male trying to make light of the situation, only to receive a non-appreciative glance from the woman standing next to him. dumbass.

the male didn't want to know why everyone was panicking, it wasn't his problem. but as he tried to walk away, he felt his shoes become heavy like rocks, stopping at the edge as if he was about to topple off a cliff. his smirk was wiped as his eyebrows knitted together. "what is this?"

» DESDEMONA GWÓZDEK
”Remember what I said, Desdemona. Are you listening? Repeat it.”

With a small head turn to face her grandmother who’s hands were wrapped around both of her arms as if chiding a young child to grasp their attention, Desdemona’s crystal blue eyes gazed into her grandmother’s warm chocolate eyes. With a small nod of indication she was listening despite the pain of her grandmother’s grip on her, Desdemona spoke just above a whisper, absentmindedly reiterating the words said to her many times.

”Don’t forget the hood. Keep the charms in your pocket. Don’t talk to strangers. And for the love of Aphrodite, stop staring into space and speaking into thin air. What they don't know won't kill them. Ignore them.”

Clicking her tongue as a small, muffled grunt was heard in response to Desdemona's words, Grandmother slowly released Desdemona from her tightly locked grip and grabbed the bags by the doorway. "Good. Now go on before night falls. Everything is on the map, follow the pathway and don't make any shortcuts. Send a letter when you arrive."

Without delaying anything further, Grandmother promptly pushed Desdemona out of the cabin and the gates, waving and encouraging her grand-daughter to go forward. If Desdemona stayed any longer, Grandmother would have changed her mind by not allowing Desdemona to leave the vicinity of home, their safe-haven. The world was not a pleasant place and even if Grandmother wanted to protect Desdemona from the world, she couldn't allow her to be ignorant. Grandmother didn't have any authority or hold on Desdemona any longer being at the age that she is. Desdemona was free to leave the forest if she wanted. However, thankfully, Desdemona knew that surviving in the outside world would be far different than the quaint life she and her Grandmother lived. The bustling noise of the city, the chatter, technology, and all the materialistic nonsense was all of humanity's greed and need for the luxury.

Although Desdemona didn't share the same contempt or ideas as Grandmother, she did agree that the world was not a kind place. However, there are a few rare diamond in the rough and Desdemona held onto that small hope and leap of faith. Desdemona would have never thought to even want to leave the forest. But, the image of Mount Olympus on the pamphlet drew her in. Her heart was restless from the moment her eyes were set on the landscape. What was it about that specific mountain? The ghost that lingered around her cabin, of course, had tried to talk her out of going and even more so said their heartfelt, if not over-dramatic, eulogy of her escaping them. It was amusing to Desdemona to see the spirits acting in such a manner, but, perhaps, she did, even if it was small, helped them from feeling ignored, lonely, and alone. In the end, Desdemona knew how they felt and would never think less of them for feeling and thinking such.

"Don't go, don't go!" A haunting whisper echoed in one corner of the room.

To her left, a shrill scream sounded off before a bitter voice spoke, "She's fleeing! They all do! Leaving us behind to rot!"

On her right, a small voice spoke, trying to reassure the others, "Des doesn't lie, you'll . . . you'll see."

In the end, Desdemona gave them the proper good-bye and promised that she would return. She never went back on her promises especially since they were there for her through countless hardships. At the same time, Desdemona knew, in her heart, she could never leave Grandmother alone for too long. But, right now, something was pulling her away from her safe-haven and to a new, unsettling place. The feeling in the pit of her stomach was full of confusion and uncomfortableness and it would only go away if she went to Greece to the Mount Olympus, which, in her opinion, was intriguing. Out of all places, Desdemona couldn't resist wanting to explore the area that was part of greek mythos. Life is full of mysteries and adventures after-all, right?

After a few days or weeks, give and take, Desdemona finally arrived in Greece. Although there were countless setbacks such as getting lost or even frightened by the bustling movements of those around her, Desdemona could only let out a soft sigh as she kept her wits about her. Fixing her coat and attire, Desdemona made sure she was bundled up, kept the charms in her pocket, and a small berret over her head to cover most of her eyes. Keeping her eyes drawn towards the ground, Desdemona made her journey off the bus before seeing another crowd from the bus in front of her. Not wanting to pay any attention towards strangers, Desdemona looked at her map before looking around at her surroundings. Litchoro. She finally made it!

However, before Desdemona can make her way towards Mount Olympus, a voice caught her attention. Something along the lines of "are you listening to me?" and "help" was heard through the crowded noise. Shaking her head, Desdemona didn't want any part in who it was asking for directions but it wasn't until the mantra of rocket, rocket, rocket continued as she went, the voice trailing behind her. Not able to resist the urge to ignore the voice, Desdemona turned around only to be greeted by an older transparent male hovering over a light-haired male [ Gio ] who seemed. . . distracted and distraught, not able to see the older male floating above him. Furrowing her brows, Desdemona did her best to not look at the spirit in the eye, not wanting to draw attention to herself as she stepped to the side, gazing at the saddened male.

Biting her lips, Desdemona allowed the male to walk ahead of her, the spirit still trying to get his attention and wanting to comfort him. However, the spirit's hand, no matter how much he wanted to pat. . perhaps his son, nephew, or whoever he was in relation to the depressed male, could not. The ghost just went right through his head and arm. Nevertheless, Desdemona quietly walked behind the two, not wanting to make noise or realisation that she could see the ghost. Do not make a scene. But, the trek seemed to take forever as she continuously followed behind the spaced-out boy and it seemed like they were going to the same area. With a small groan, Desdemona looked at her hands before taking out her gloves and placing her fingers inside of them.

Without warning, Desdemona grabbed a hold of the male's sleeves, clearing her throat, "You need to pay attention where you're going. . . . Mount Olympus, right?"

Not waiting for the male's response, Desdemona tugged him along with her, as she made her way through the area, not speaking as she kept a firm grip on the male's shirt to keep him from falling over her or to slow her down. She could hear the apparition saying "thank you" in the background and feel the smile on his face, but Desdemona made no acknowledgement that she could feel, communicate, and see the ghost. Thankfully, what seemed like forever, Desdemona could only spot the base fo Mount Olympus only to be greeted by a large group of people standing around in confusion. Furrowing her brows, Desdemona stopped in her tracks, her grip still on the male's shirt. It wasn't until she noticed a female [ Alice ] walking towards and greeting the guy did Desdemona let go of his sleeves and stepped behind and to the side, not wanting to look at anyone in the face.

But, when the female introduced her and her friend, Desdemona could only look between the two girls before turning her head away. Don't look them in the eye. They won't talk to you. However, when Ali . . . introduced Lizzie, Desdemona couldn't help but feel drawn to see who her friend was. In that moment, Desdemona felt as if time had stopped and regretted ever looking over. She could feel a lump in her throat. Something about the blonde-haired female sent shiver down her spines and her heartbeated erratically. Who is she? Her eyes became teary and Desdemona quickly hid her face, trying to find something else to look at to not bring attention to herself and her odd expression and behavior.

And by the goddess, a distraction came.

A cloud of smoke hovered above the new approaching male [ Puck ]. Desdemona's eyes furrowed slightly as she heard small mutterings from the hovering appariton haunting the next male that came. Another ghost? Is this literally ghost town? But, the moment Desdemona thought of the area as such, the atmosphere felt chilly and she couldn't help but feel an odd breeze surround her once more. But, before she could ponder more, a small cough escaped her lips as she waved off the puff of air surrounding the company though to others, it seemed as if she was swatting a fly.

Despite there being people around her, the two apparitions before her took much of her attention as she didn't want another. . . . break down, perhaps, like before. Focusing on the two ghost that seemed to be haunting both the light and dark haired males that just arrived when she had, one was haunted by an older male and the other by an elder woman. The older male spirit was seemingly dramatically crying on the blonde hair's shoulder and Desdemona could only raise a brow before the ghost continued to attempt to whisper sweet-nothings to the boy, perhaps even attempting to get his attention. though the words rocket, rocket, like a mantra, was as clear as day.

"Rocket." Desdemona called out-loudly, the first word she uttered arriving at this small, deserted town. Her eyes were drawn towards the boy as she stared towards the light-haired male, "You can't see him, but he's there. Says to not fret over him. You'll be able to wear that space shuttle costume again soon."

But, before the light-haired male could answer or even answer. The loud, booming voice of a disappointment came from ghost number two: the elder woman. Desdemona's head whipped to the other side, staring directly at the nagging older woman. Trying hard to not snicker at the woman's constant jab at the dark-haired male's forehead, Desdemona shook her head, finding amusement to the situation.

"Even in passing she nags." Desdemona spoke, "You have gotten lazy, Osito."

Finally, Desdemona took a deep breath, realising her brazen actions to speak and say words that didn't make sense would bite her in the behind. She could only mutter a small, "I'm Desdemona. Is there a meeting here? Drawn to this place as well?" So many people

god, gus was ready to throw everything out the window.

the male singer had spent the past few days trying to write a song that his record company would like. his creativity was at an all time low and his addictions at an all time high, which lead to nothing. gus even tried asking for advice from his old bandmates, which didn't quite work out. at one point, gus even tried to go cold turkey on smoking and drinking altogether. however, not even an hour later, he already had a cigarette hanging from his mouth and was pouring a splash of jack daniels in his lukewarm tea.

tiredness and disappointed mixed in his stomach as he groaned, throwing his guitar on his bed after spending -- what felt like an eternity -- playing the same four chords. being locked up in his hotel room felt suffocating, plus he had run out of cigarettes. with a quick ruffle of his hand through his hair, gus slipped on his jacket and quietly left the hotel, keeping his head low and his black sunglasses covering his face. he may be a ruined rockstar but the paparazzi loved taking the worst photos of him.

gus allowed his feet to drag his body to wherever they wanted to go. he didn't really have any clue about what was in greece, but his gut told him to go, so naturally he did. the sound of leaves crunched under his boots as he found himself in the middle of a decaying town. augustus glanced at the small dispersed crowds of tourists, all looking out, ignoring their faces, wasn't the attraction the other way? gus rolled his eyes as he noticed a piece of paper at the tip of his shoe.

the male picked it up, wiping the speckles of dirt and skimmed through the neat handwriting. gus wasn't going to lie, they were better than anything he had tried to write during his time in greece. gus glanced up and looked for the lyrics' owner, there was no name to call out and there was also the factor of gus not knowing anyone. out of the corner of his eye, gus noticed a young woman with a notebook in her hand. with a sigh, gus headed towards her, praying that she didn't recognise him.

"uh, 'scuse me, love?" gus asked, softly trying to get her attention as he realised how short she was, "this yours?" he waved in front of her, trying to pull a polite face as he offered her the piece of paper.

Luke was going to actually enjoy himself, after two years at a boring flight academy. His plane zoomed through the air, headed straight for Greece. Now that he was flying the plane, he wondered momentarily if he should've checked to see if flying alone at 20 was even legal. Probably not. And if that were so, he totally would've been stopped by now. He was fine. He had a co-pilot anyways- some dude called Jeff was watching (more like sleeping) him from a cracked IPhone on the seat beside him. And eventually, that he soon lost his train of thought in a sea of trying to remember the name of some obscure nymph nobody but he cared about.

Focus. Lucas swerved, narrowly avoiding some bird as 'Jeff' woke up with a jolt to reprimand him. Luke sighed, turned on the autopilot, and took a nap. There was plenty of time until landing- and Jeff was paying very close attention, so he'd be fine. Probably. And then he started thinking about how cool it'd be to go to Russia instead. If only.

||||||||

Finally, he was there. After a semi-smooth landing at the airport and some questioning by officials, he bused (is that a word?) his way to Mount Olympus. He didn't really know why, but it seemed right. All he carried was a small duffel bag with food and water- not even his phone. He didn't think he'd need it. Go in, see the sights, come back down, fly off somewhere else. And as always, there was plenty of plane lore about how Zeus would strike you down if you tried to fly above the mountains, so Luke wanted to see how tall the place really was.

It wasn't too astounding. He had seen taller mountains before. The place seemed nice enough, though. He started to trek up the mountain. Maybe he'd see the greek Gods chilling out in the forest, he laughed to himself. As always, Rachel had just been bluffing. She probably thought nobody would bother to actually see the mountains themselves. Soon, Luke lost his train of thought, mindlessly climbing up the mountain. It was far more relaxing than he had imagined it to be.

By the time Lucas had snapped back to reality, he had noticed an odd town. Had that been on the trail map? Maybe he had just forgotten. He stepped back, probably to appreciate the infrastructure or something like that, when he ran into some sort of glass wall. Not glass, but- some sort of invisible material of the sort, he supposed. Weird. Cool, but at the same time, very uncool. Maybe Rachel was right about something, for once. The closest person to him was this girl, or lady, or woman (he couldn't tell), definitely just as touristy as he was, stressing out with her...friend? about the situation. He felt himself blush, just a little bit. Not that she was hot, or because she was hot. Probably. Oh god. Or gods, who knew at this point? He couldn't focus for a second, dazed by the whole, well situation going on. Eventually, Lucas pushed it away. Come on, you've met attractive girls before, pull it together and just ask what's going on like a normal person.

He walked up to her. She was even more amazing than he had thought. Not that he judged on appearances, but her demeanor just stood out to him like-like a rainbow in a sea of clouds. She was stunning. And he should tone it down. Nice and simple. No flirting. No innuendos. Calm.

"H-hey. Name's Luke. Do you know what the hell's going on? Cause I don't."

Cassy turned to see a girl walk up to them, if a bit reluctantly. He gently nudged Avie with his shoulder, and she startled. She had the tendency to stare off into space or get lost in her thoughts, much like how Cassy himself was easily distracted by the sight or scent of a flower. He shoved his hands in his pockets, glancing down to make sure he had his flowers on him.

Hey, old habits die hard. And every time Cassy saw a girl, he couldn’t help but give her a flower. Anyway.

“Hola, señorita,” Cassy greeted her, inclining his head slightly. “As far as I know, we’re at the bottom of Mount Olympus, but neither I nor Avril knew about this town here. We’re just as confused as you are.”

Avie interjected, “Wall? We didn’t see any wall.” She glanced up at Cassy questioningly, but he shrugged. He hadn’t noticed any wall either. However, that did explain why there was so many people throughout the town all of a sudden.

It seemed as if the girl, however, was not very reassured about the situation. Opening his flower pouch, Cassy pulled out a nasturtium blossom. Of course, “victory in battle” was a bit of a stretch at a time like this, but it was the best he had. With a smile, Cassy said, “I’m sure this is all nothing to worry about. Here, have this flower, capuchina. We’ll probably figure this out.”

    At least. He hoped so.

But so long as Avie was reassured… well, that was all he needed.

Cole had made his own personal mission to always Skylie’s back, since no one had ever done that for her before they’d met. He may not have been a badass like her, but he knew a thing or two about keeping an eye out.

Honestly, he was surprised he was the first one to see the guy walking up to them.

The guy had one of those faces. Like the kind of face those actors have, the ones who have millions of fangirls who call them “adorable” or “cute.” Save for the earring, this guy fit this archetype nearly perfectly.

Except for the fact that he was kinda staring at his sister.

Nudging his sister, he nodded in the guy’s direction, just as he introduced himself. Skylie glanced over her shoulder, and Cole noticed her eyes widen. He nearly groaned out loud. Was Sky seriously one of those girls to fawn over “adorable” actors? But just as quickly, Sky shook off the awestruck look, burying it under her normal scowl. There was seriously something going on here.

Leaning his elbow on his sister’s head (perks of being a foot taller than her), he shot a crooked grin at the guy. “Nice to meetcha, Luke. Wish we could tell you what’s going on, but we’re lost, too.” Inclining his head toward Skylie, he added, “I’m Cole, and this is my sister, Skylie. Isn’t that such a cute name?”

Reaching down, he pinched Skylie’s cheeks and stretched them a bit. “Isn’t she the absolute cutest? We’re only about two years apart, but she seems younger, doesn’t she?”

Skylie slapped his hands away. “Cole! Stop! What the hell are you doing?” She glared up at Cole, which was somehow intimidating despite their height difference. Turning back to Luke, Sky took a cautious step back, which told Cole she really didn’t trust this guy… or any guy that wasn’t him, frankly. “So what are you doing here?” she muttered, doing very little to hide the fact that she was incredibly nervous to be talking to a guy.

Cole put his hand on her shoulder to calm her down. It worked, but only a little. After all, they were still in the presence of an unknown male.

One who could hurt her.

Milo hadn't thought this far into the future. All he knew that was by twenty, he was bored of Cambridge like he had become of London. There was a lack of things that managed to get his adrenaline pumping and his heart racing. Without that feeling, Milo felt he wasn't alive. He thrived on the sensation - and so, he supposed, that brought him to Greece.

His hands were shoved casually into his pockets as his feet dragged along the pavement. Milo watched his own feet mindlessly carry him in a direction. He glanced up, noticing the sideways glances filled with confusion or judgement he tended to earn from the hand cuffs connected to his belt which clinked with each step. A grin adorned the young man's face. Oh how he adored attention.

It seemed most people were walking roughly in one direction, however. Which was odd. Convenient for him to steal - people were more likely to see his hand movements if walking in the opposite direction. Whether or not he felt like it, his hands crept into nearby pockets, pulling out items of value But strangely, this tourist location was not buzzing with the energy he'd expected.

As he continued to travel aimlessly, Milo's confusion grew. There seemed to be people gathered in the direction he was heading. Most of them were in groups, so he didn't plan on approaching them - yet. The male's eyes latched onto a girl of long blonde hair and swagger he admired. Never mind that, he only cared for the bag she had resting lazily over her shoulder and on her back. Even from here, his ears picked up on the clinking of tiny trinkets, something he could steal in his sleep. She also had a clear tourist aura surrounding her, a good warm up target. After all, it had been a while.

Milo quickened his pace ever so slightly, reaching a safe distance behind the young female. With trained accuracy and precision, Milo slipped his hand into her bag, his fingers curling around what felt like a pen.Upon pulling it out, he deflated.

Grasping the pen, Milo jogged to walk alongside the young woman. "You can have your," his eyes narrowed, reading a cruise liner's name emblazoned on the side of the object, "cruise pen back." he grinned, handing it off lazily to the side. Klaus squinted his eyes, flinching as the harsh grecian sun emerged from behind the mountain’s peak. “Tch,” he sighed, shielding his eyes with one hand and reaching for his sunglasses with the other. “Remind me not to have so much tequila next time, why don’t you?” he briefly glanced over at the blonde next to him, a roguish grin playing on his lips, masking the debilitating consequences of a very late night; a maxed out credit card and a throbbing headache.

“Hey...I wasn’t too much last night, was I?” Klaus rolled his shoulders back, his back felt tense and there was an air of unease. He couldn’t recall more than short flashes from the night before, fleeting images from the motel’s karaoke bar accompanied by a faint humming of Abba’s 'Waterloo'. “I think I broke something,” Yeah, the chair you were standing on when you thought you were sober enough to serenade Izzy. Stupid. “Dimitra couldn’t even look at me without laughing this morning,” he remarked, remembering how the receptionist was trying to hide her giggling behind a map of Thessaloniki, "also, I could've sworn I found a fiver in my underwear last night - do you think that was her?"

Klaus bit his tongue. A wave of anxiety flooded through him, tightening his chest as he realised that Izzy might not want to relive the embarrassment that was him last night. He coughed, turning away from her and focusing his attention on a very interesting rock...it was as interesting as a rock could be. “Anyway,” he continued, using a poorly constructed segue to divert the conversation, “seen any good rocks you wanted to climb? Anything that would make Noah jealous?" Noah. Klaus wanted to hurtle his best friend into shark-infested waters. He was supposed to be on the Greece trip with Izzy and himself, though decided to abandon him with no one else to bounce conversation off. It’s fine, Klaus thought, Izzy’s a good friend...just like Grace - don’t make it weird.

“We’ve got to take a lot of photos, show Noah what he’s missing!” Klaus grinned, attempting to shake off his unease with a burst of enthusiasm. Though, he immediately regretted raising his voice - he still felt hammered. “I mean, those ruins over there are pretty cool, they look almost as old as you!”...Shit, he didn’t mean that. Klaus played it off, flashing Izzy a mischievous smirk. Of course she would know it was a joke, but he had a habit of ruining things. He chuckled to himself and walked a bit faster, as if to avoid a certain bashing from her. Dear God, he hoped she thought he was funny.
