In the streets of Manhattan, people that live within the Upper East Side rule with an iron fist. Partying, shopping and hookups are what usually keep people breathing. Manhattan’s elite have a pile of dirty laundry as high as the Empire State Building and a list of sins just like the number of mimosas that are ordered on a usual Wednesday afternoon. Manhattan, New York is also a place where most of the teenagers ride limos to school, wear diamonds for dinner, party hard, and live even harder. They are the Kings, Queens, and offspring of New York’s beloved actors, actresses, musicians, crooked senators, and smarmy CEOs. The lives of the glamorous, the filthy rich, and the famous are ones that no one can resist looking into if only to gawk and gasp in horror.
Through the hustle and bustle of New York, along with the thick smell of Chanel and money in the air and the sounds of limo horns blaring through the streets, the Upper East Side is home to many of the scandalous elite. Lies and scandals are served for breakfast, lunch, and dessert, while empty hearts are filled only with the warmth of cash and desirable attention. As much as breakfast is a common occurrence, backstabbing is just as casually common and your head might start spinning around if you even tried to think who was dating who, who was sleeping with who, and who pining silently over who around here. Even though we all know that you cannot choose your family, but you can surely choose your friends.
Now that you see how it goes, no one’s secrets are truly safe for too long because the truth will always come out. But what will you do with the information whenever it gets out? Because in the city that never sleeps, someone is always watching. We all know the children at Constance Billard School for Girls and Saint Jude’s School for Boys had their drama but another other private elite school just a few or so miles down the road, Spence High, has had just as much drama especially between the junior and senior classes.
But who is now behind the infamous computer screen, splurging out the Manhattan Elite's secrets and more? Well, that's one secret that the person will never tell. You know that you love them, XOXO.

But this roleplay is based on Gossip Girl but not from the original cast, this will be completely fictional but still take place in Manhattan, New York, and on the Upper East Side. This roleplay is definitely character-driven, which means that however, your character actions and reactions affect their direction in the roleplay along with others. Please be mindful of that. There will be mature themes such as drugs, alcohol, certain references, and probably other themes mentioned here but within the rules on RPNation, of course.
Lastly, we will be starting the roleplay on the second weekend of school and the party animal will be throwing a party for everyone to attend.

Queen Bee; Taken | She rules the halls of Spence High with an iron fist. She tramples over anyone that tries to deny her crown or gets in her way. She lived a rather luxury lifestyle and practically got everything handed to her. But nevertheless, everyone wants to be her.
King Bee; Open | Some people think that he doesn’t deserve the crown that his predecessor chose for him. The Queen Bee agrees with the people who say so. But of course, she allows him to hang out with the crowd to see if she’s missing something.
Princess; Open | Basically a minion to the Queen Bee, who chose her specifically to do her bidding. The princess is basically an heiress to some company that her parents currently own. She is definitely from old money.
Prince; Open | He rose up to popularity instantly after the previous prince has been crowned king bee, who chose the current prince to be his successor. Most people say that he’s more popular than the king bee, which they wouldn’t be completely wrong. The queen bee hangs around him more, as well. They are like the golden child of Spence.
Head Cheerleader; Open | She runs the cheerleading team and whips them into shape. She has led them to many back-to-back titles from competitions and will not have it any other way. She used to date the jock but no one really knows why they broke up.
Jock; Open | Whether it’s football, basketball, or even golf, this person is involved in just about any and all sports. They have been involved in sports since birth, basically, and that obviously hasn’t changed much.
Drama Queen; Open | Drama follows her wherever she goes and she loves it very, very much. If a scandal within the halls of Spence happens, she’ll be the first one to report it to everyone and even instigate the situation. She’s behind every fight that has happened between people and even couples breaking up. She can be very dramatic and emotional.
Class Clown; Open | The funniest person at Spence, who can even make the queen bee laugh. You’ll find them doing something silly every single second, minute, and hour of the day. They love to make people laugh, ironically, but is it to mask how they really feel inside of themselves?
Party Animal; Taken | If there’s a party, you can guarantee that they’ll be there. They have thrown some real raves themselves but they haven’t thrown or been to a party in quite a while. What’s the reason for that?
Bookworm; Open | One of the smartest elites to ever enter the halls of Spence, they are the people who let people cheat off of their notes, or write their papers for them. But some say that they are also easily persuaded and they do charge for their services. They are also the class president.
Drug Addict; Open | If you see this person in the halls, they’re either dealing drugs to someone else or taking some themselves. They are the go-to person if you want to loosen up or if you’re looking for a high. They have never been caught, surprisingly, and don’t intend on starting now.
The Bad Boy; Open | He’s the wild child, the reckless one, and the one who will break your heart literally. He’s been in trouble so many times that even he has lost count. But many wonder what his life is like and why he is the person that he is.
The New Girl; Open | She’s new to the halls of Spence High and doesn’t quite know how certain things work or what situations she’s about to get involved in. Her head is about to spin in many directions and she better chooses the right crowd, or she will sink quicker than the titanic.
The Transfer; Open | There isn’t much to know about the transfer student just yet. Although, there have been rumors swirling around about them. They are the only ones who can clear these rumors up especially if they think to survive at Spence High. But what made them transfer exactly?

Please try to be active. I am not asking for a post every day but a post every three days would be okay. Just want to keep a steady pace of the roleplay. If you cannot post for any reason, let me or

POSTING
I am not going to set a paragraph limit here but just give us something to work with. I'd appreciate it if you could write 400 or more words minimum. Writer's block is understandable in this case, try to aim for 300 words. Please be semi-lit at least. I'd prefer detailed writers if I'm honest.
INCLUSIVENESS
Some characters may not get along but let's use that In Character, please. Stir the pot and add a dash of drama. I will not mind it a single bit.
DRAMA
Speaking of drama, this roleplay will be filled with it so be prepared. Do not take the drama personally or if your character doesn't get the upper hand. They will get their chance, I am sure of it. Please keep the IC drama in the roleplay and no OOC drama. If something gets out of hand, the GMs, Tinkii and I, will handle it.
CHARACTERS
Most of these characters are rich, yes but be realistic about their riches. Make sure your characters have flaws and something that makes them tick. If your character is too perfect then I won't accept them until they are flawed.
DIVERSITY
Not going to stress this but the main thing I want in this roleplay is diversity. Nothing to offend anyone but I am sure in New York, there's more than one race there. Just saying. This roleplay is also LGBTQ+ friendly.
MATURE
Again, we're all adults here so let's please act like it. If you cannot handle drugs, drinking, or certain themes then this roleplay is not for you.
