  Hello, RPNation, and welcome to my latest (and possibly greatest) interest check. Recently I've found myself craving a good horror roleplay, and decided to get one started myself. I'm looking for a group of approximately 5, though if I get some truly extraordinary characters and many people interested I will go up to 8. Likewise, if there are fewer people interested, a minimum of 3 will be acceptable. I also would love to get to know all of you, and I'm able to use OOC/PM/Discord to have conversations (for anything else, ask, it may be available to me). While I do prefer to separate plotting and chatting, this isn't a necessity and whatever's best for everyone is fine with me.
  
  I'm looking for a relatively detailed roleplay. While I won't insist upon an unrealistic amount of writing, I do want you to be able to write a full-length paragraph per response. Basically, I don't want you describing the texture of the floor in desperation, and I also don't appreciate one sentence worth of "she did this and then said this bye bye going now".
  
  As for characters, I'm not very particular on them. As long as you fill in the necessary things and they're fairly realistic, you're good to go. I won't require an excessive amount for them, if you prefer to reveal these things as the roleplay moves on. One major thing, though, would be to roleplay your character how you present it. I don't want any ridiculously out of character actions or conversations, I just find it annoying. If it's an accident and it only happens once or twice, I won't be bothered, but if it happens multiple times and it doesn't seem to be getting any better, there may be consequences.

  The story will follow a group of friends who decide, after being dared, to spend the night in an old house that is rumored to be haunted. However, when morning arrives, they find themselves unable to leave the house. A series of mysterious clues and multiple members of their group suffering from vivid nightmares lead them to believe that something horrible took place here. They believe it's a prank - not a particularly funny one, but a certainly nothing real. That all changes when one of them is found stabbed to death on the second night.
  
  Panic spreads through the group like a contagious disease as they attempt to cope with the sudden and completely unexpected death of their friend. Finding the courage to pull through and do what they know they must seems like an impossible task; a level of misery none of them have ever experienced before.
  
  Will they be able to solve the mystery before it's too late, or will they all perish as a result of a meaningless dare?

  Name: Eddie Storm - Mayhem ( WolfOfProphecys )
  Age: 17
  Gender: Male

  PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
  Description of Character: Standing at 5'8" tall, Eddie isn't the tallest of males, and tends to keep his shoulders slightly hunched anyway, whereas Mayhem will always stand tall, trying to look as intimidating as possible. Black, messy hair often flops down over his emerald eyes, often helped by one of his many hoodies. His skin is pale, marred with scars across his arms when previous breakdowns have led to him trying to get rid of Mayhem, and other scars that certainly don't seem self inflicted. He's thin, and not very strong, though Mayhem often seems stronger due to his personality. His scars are always covered, and he's never told anyone about them, not even his friends, whom he is surprised keep him in their group.
  
  WHO ARE THEY?
  Background: Eddie doesn't know much about his mother. According to his abusive father, she disappeared because she couldn't stand to raise hell-spawn such as Eddie, and this claim only became worse when Eddie developed his split personality at age 7, Mayhem, named as such because whenever he took over to protect Eddie, his father would always be mad afterward and would have caused trouble. More than once Eddie has tried to 'remove' Mayhem, through various methods, though most involved trying to end himself. His attempts have become few and far between, however, now that he has friends, since he doesn't want to disappoint them. Mayhem usually takes over when he feels that Eddie is in trouble, whether physically or mentally, and he has shown his face around their friends before.
  
  Personality: Eddie is a rather nervous, but calculating individual, tending to enjoy puzzles and a challenge. He doesn't often speak of any personal issues, despite having plenty, and this is usually because he wants to avoid the pitying looks he's gotten before. However, he cares very much about his friends, less so about his father, and will do anything for them. He would never harm even a fly, he'd always rather talk an argument out. Mayhem, however, never thinks before he acts. He loves violence, especially if it will help keep Eddie safe, but also shares the love for his friends, though it's certainly a more possessive version of Eddies own feelings.
  
  Fatal flaw: Trust, Eddie tends to trust anyone. Mayhem, however, has the fatal flaw of being rash, never thinking before he does something.
  
  Skills: Problem Solving, Intelligence, Basic First Aid. Fighting, Protecting Others, Quick to Act.
  
  Strengths: His friends give Eddie the strength to keep going. Mayhem has no inhibitions when it comes to violence, he'll fight anyone.
  
  Weaknesses: His past and mentions of his family, including Mayhem, depress Eddie. His friends are a big weakness, he'd do anything to make them happy and safe. Eddie is Mayhems biggest weakness, for Mayhem exists only to keep Eddie safe.
