  WASHINGTON, 25TH OF JULY 1998. 10:30
  'Officer Brown was not only a great lieutenant, he was much more than that. A friend, a brother and a husband. He died doing what he loved, sticking up for our rights. For justice. That's what officer Brown wanted in life, justice. So, that's what we will give him. That was all for today.' A silence filled the room as the group exchanged looks among them, never had felt a room filled with people they were supposed to trust this divided.
  
  Officer Brown was killed in a fire after an anonymous call alerted them about a drug exchange that was about to happen, an obvious trap was the immediate thought but after showing up to the crime scene the chase began and after a Molotov cocktail was thrown in the old, fallen warehouse officer Brown had lost his life. This seemed nothing more than a tragic incident but as the onion peels, only more layers appear. Crooked cops were nothing new in Washington as some knew very well but as crooked cops became the new standard in the Washington department some stayed true to their morals, like mister Brown. This caused an uproar as some felt something wasn't right, but you know what they say; curiosity killed the cat.

  A police department in Washington is fighting a war against itself, after losing an important lieutenant in a fire; people in the office start questioning the crime and what happened while others tried desperately to shove it under the rug. No one knows who's involved and who isn't, are their friendships build on lies?
  Some went crooked for different reasons, some more moral than others. A family to support, wanting to marry that special someone or just bitter as the boss presents you the next promotion but never receiving it. And just like that, the group of officers stand before a moral dilemma of seeing how far anyone would go to save name or maybe save justice.
  
  After the death of Officer Brown, they receive anonymous tips and these could be from literally anyone. Even themselves. The 'good' ones can be just as bad as the crooked ones as they have to decide whether it's worth accusing anyone of this horrible crime which might not even be true. After all, they're not just colleagues – they have been friends for years. Their worlds have been shaken up and now it's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.   Rivalry comes to mind as they pace the work floor, why don't they get the office with the skyline view? Why don't they get the extras when they work over time on Christmas eve? All these reasons build up an unanswered anger and a need for more than patrolling just the parking tickets when it has been a quiet day. But what if this is the way that pays them off?   Good cop one has had their fare share of temptations of the bad side (at the office) but after an unfortunate event or a life changing moment they turned to justice. Sometimes even a bit too much, they used to play the bad cop at interrogations just to squeeze out what's right but how far can you go and still name it justice?

  The child of the high position officer, maybe moved out to another city to have their own identity or stayed at home to live up to their name. Maybe someone in their family has been fighting for justice their whole lives, does this good cop even actually wants to be a cop? Or is there something they long for more than just this life?   No messing with this good cop, somehow they have worked their way up without cheating like most of them. Are they being feared or are they walking around with a big hit mark on their backs? No one knows, not even this good cop themselves. They have an interesting backstory and are most likely very smart, or is there another way how they got their name?
