Dice Godspeed! OOC

So, we are starting at 4th level, right? What method are we using for determining attributes?

Awesome. I can now get started on my character. Was thinking of going for something simple; a straight fighter.

Oooohhh! im thinking a bard. or a warlock. but i also wanna do something with the revolution that is emenent... an Akareissian,.... they do feel a little "white man's burdenery" to me... but where you have moderate liberals you will also find socialists... paladan of comunism time

Any bonus gold or starting equipment since we are starting at 4th level?

And are Feats allowed? I was hoping on taking the Heavy Armor Master one.

Cool. 250 gold is not quite enough to get the plate mail armor I want, but it is a start.

Alright so now that there is an appropriate place to post this, my feedback. I have two main worries:
1. What races are or not allowed seems... arbitrary at best. Other than a non-inclusion in the lore (something which could be easily ammended I would reckon) there doesn't seem to be any reason for them to not be allowed. As such I want to ask if it's a strict rule that one can't play those races, or is it more "they are found as races in this place, if you wanna play that you need to work it into the lore" kind of thing.

2.There seems to be a bit of an excessive focus on the geopolitical situation. Bringing too much reality into something is a big red flag for me, which I don't think is what is happening here, but still I can't shake the feeling there's going to be political undertone landmines everywhere, and even without that it would be far too easy for a player to mess something up with the lore if they do any minimal stretching. I don't have a specific question in this second point of feedback, though I would like to hear your response to it.

Would you be willing to link all of the resources on the OP of the thread so it's easier to find, please? :) When do you want characters done by?

1. Oh, that’s my bad, sorry! I forgot to get rid of the “playable” part on the heading. All races are available to play.

2. I understand your concern here, and I won’t deny that the setting has a lot of details in geopolitics. That said, this by no means requires the Party to focus on these geopolitical elements. I’d be comfortable with the Party completely ignoring those aspects for something else. If you have any more specific concerns, I’d love to hear them.
