You awaken in a what appears to be a large steel birdcage, emerald vines hug the bars a bright flourish of flowers line the ground outside the cage in almost every shade. It's quiet... eerily so for the lush meadow you appear to be. No flap of wings or birds chirping, no bustling and rustling of woodland critters... hell not even a jarring buzz from a bee could be heard. Suddenly a warm glowing light emits from the sky above you, drawing you closer into it's rays. Against all better judgement, you peer into the light feeling your body heat up, you slowly begin to realise you are in a state of total tranquility, the air is sweet and clear as though you've never breathed in such crisp air, the ground is soft beneath your feet and despite your shoes nor the golden metal cage you feel blades of grass wet with droplets of mildew hit the base of your feet. Eventually you focus in enough to see the figure towering or perhaps maybe just hovering above you. Her golden locks, always adorned in blue crystal jewels and bluebells, glisten in the light emitted by her aura as her hazelnut eyes land finally upon you she begins to speak with a oddly hollow tone unexpected by her appearance

You mere mortal have been carefully selected to join our ranks as divine beings as an acolyte of the Gods though first you must prove yourself. You will be guided through many a trial all to see if you are fit to walk among us however please remember mortal, not every trial is as it may seem and reflects the wishes each God wants you to fulfil. From showcasing artistic talents for Apollo to dancing over moral conundrums that leave you questioning the Gods as a whole. Each of you will be gifted a item that represents you which will give you a glimpse into the future as chosen by the God who chose you. Try to remember who you are, what you believe in, why you of all beings were brought here chosen to fighting desperately for a chance to breathe the same air as we do are you here to save your kind? To save the people beside you? Or to burn it all to the ground? That my dear is a question only you can answer; I am but a humble observer hoping to see the birth of a new age brought on by you whatever that may be. Now go onwards prophet hopefully by now there are many like you seeking the same rights as you though be warned not everyone shares the same intentions yet all have equal chance of become a God.
I posted this once in the wrong place made a few changes and figured I'd try again. So the basic concept of this RP is kinda like a Greek Mythology/Mirai nikki aka future diary/hunger games ish vibe. This is my first RP running myself so bare with me a little here guys. I'd like anime or art face claims for characters I don't mind too much if I recognise the face claim for your character as long as your actual character is different. E.G If I used Yuno I couldn't be a yandere or share her main characteristics. There will be a lot of combat and graphic scenes in this RP I'm really going for an angsty gritty RP chock full of character development where I can truly let the idea and NPC's and my impressions of the Gods Trials really be let free. I'd prefer to RP on here but if everyone else prefers discord I can download or use my partners. Hoping to make this quite regular a few posts a day. Happy to explore stories individually or as a group whatever I get responses for really lol. Also in terms of your characters you may choose to be a prophet of any of the 12 traditional Greek Mythology Gods and Goddesses if any wants help with character ideas or anything let me know I will let each player know what their" future item" is after character creation we can discuss after if you're happy with this and why I've chosen this. I will also use story cues to let the player know when to use item for the storyline. Also if your character dies do not panic there's Gods and Goddesses of the underworld too after all.
