Gluttony (大 食い, Ōkui) is an A-Class, rank 4, superhero for the Hero Association from City-13. Widely known for his size, yet capability in combat enough to prove himself, despite his known laziness. He is almost always seen feasting on something.

Appearance
Gluttony is a large man, both in height and weight. It's partially where his name originates from. With his colossal body to tower over others and his overall girth, he takes up the space in most areas. He has spiky blonde hair and black eyes with fair skin. He generally wears combat boots, boggy cameo pants and a military fatigue shirt with the sleeves ripped off. The primary color of tan and live green. Though this tends to depends on the time of year, his mood, and where he plans to deploy himself as the colors vastly change. Sometimes it's navy blue and aquamarine and others black with crimson and bright red. The style changing from spots to blocks of different sizes to all other forms of cameo.
Personality
Gluttony is one of the more stern, serious heroes when it comes to how things ought to be done. However, he is, as one might assume, a very lazy person who, while might command or order others, is a total hypocrite and will talk his way out of doing any work. The reason he is where he is was due to how he is when he gets things done, depending on the severity of it, and how powerful he is.
When it comes to a serious situation, such as Dragon or Demon level threats, his laziness can be turned off like a light switch when the moment warrants it, such as the events of City-5 where the #1 hero, Galactic Shield, was killed and hundreds of lives lost. Such a case proved to be the calling of a serious mood and to take action.
He is seen as cold-hearted to his enemies, but outside of his laziness, he is a genuinely friendly guy who enjoys conversing. And if you offer him food or buy him a plate or drink, he'll instantly love you. He is also very serious about food. He will get into a serious fit of rage over the lose of food or if someone desecrates it. If his favorite restaurant is destroyed, he will also go berserk with almost no control or care of his surroundings.
Despite the potency of his power and how useful it could be in many cases, Gluttony is not a very bright person, that mixed with his severe laziness is why he never reaches his full potential.
History
Many years ago, long before the formation of the Hero Association, Gluttony was a simple businessman who had discovered his power. Though he didn't know where it came from nor what was happening, he began to take notice how his body reacted to the outside world and its kinetic energy. Overtime he learned he had uncontrollably gained eight and no amount of weight loss seemed to actually lower it. Even after running 10 miles, he didn't lose a single pound, but in fact gained it.
When the Hero Association was formed, he tried to join and was rejected. After an attack by a large tree monster, the Hero Association formally invited him to join, learning from their mistakes. He enjoyed being with the Association, and the fact at his request they put money aside to figure out what this power was doing to his health and weight, hoping he would not simply die at some moment in his life from the weight. Everything seemed well and good, but eventually he came to blows with the future big hero, Galactic Shield. The two even became notorious for fighting one another. One would purposefully block the hall or take up room in the elevator, the other would eat small amounts of his food just to piss him off. But the two eventually came to respect one another. Shield was probably the only person whom could take pieces of Gluttony's food and not pissed off enough to go berserk.
Powers and Abilities
Physical Abilities
Gluttony's power derives from his ability to absorb any form of blunt physical attack. Be it a punch, a bullet, or falling building, or even a train, he can absorb its very energy used to give it motion. But this only works one way. As an A-Class Hero in the top ten mark, he is assumed to be powerful.
Enhanced Strength: With the power of his absorption of kinetic energy, he can use the energy taken in by others and redirect it back at them. He has shown in the past the ability to even store energy and let it out in one attack. Such an instant was seen during the invasion of City-5 with Kyon sending a barrage of powerful physical attacks at Gluttony only to have no real affect on him. After being left perplexed at Gluttony's durability, the hero sent a punch with all of Kyon's force back at him all at once which sent him flying far across the city.
Immense Durability: As a Class A hero, and one of the top ten, specifically rank 5, Gluttony earned his place with his unique power and as arguably one of the most durable known human on the planet. He is almost immune to any form of blunt physical attacks. With this, he is even able to reverse it or use it to dispel incoming attacks. However, with the greatness of this it only works on blunt attacks. Anything that is elemental, like heat, frost or sharp objects, like a sword, are fully capable of harming him. His kinetic energy may soften their blow, but he can't remove the effectiveness of a blade that can cut his cells.
Powers
Kinetic Absorption/Impact Absorption: Gluttony's power is the ability to absorb any form of kinetic force, generally this is only applied to blunt force. He is unable to prevent something like a knife from piercing his skin. The force that changes the energy into kinetic energy is absorbed into Gluttony's body and turned into pure potential energy which he can exert into a single attack, choosing at will how much of that energy he wishes to let out. When he was inspected by scientist and doctors at the Hero Association, they began to theorize that his weight is based on the amount of energy he has adsorbed, and the more he absorbs the more weight he gains. This is why he gained weight after trying to lose it by running 10 miles and why he randomly appeared to gain weight throughout his daily life.
Fighting Style
Due to the nature of his abilities, Gluttony replies on the use of his fist and the enemies own attacks. He tends to remain stationary for the most part, or at least if he can. Finding the need to move around to be tiring and an utter taxation on his time and use of abilities.
