Miday at Glowstone manor was just like any other day, men and women work hard on the farms growing all sorts of flora which produce the ingredients needed for various potions and poisons.
Further back to ensue the safety of the crops are where several unique and dangerous monsters are kept safe and secure, this to done to keep needed ingredients fresh and on hand.
Inside the manor is where the magic happens so to speak.

The finest alchemical laboratory in the land was built here on the second floor, this is where Whyro was preparing for the upcoming assignment. A assortment of glass beakers, jars, vials and more boil softly with tubes leading out of each to catch the smoke and condensation. A busy man shuffles back and forth finishing up mass production of his arsenal. Escorting the kings children while they make nice at different children from another king... hopefully this is nothing more than a show of force on our part. Zeneb can flit about impressivly and hopefully they spread the word that one of Hardvars royal guards can defeat fifteen of their finest with ease.
The Dancer is certainly the most visually impressive example of the three, not to say the Culinary or the Alchemist can't make a spectacular sight to behold in combat of course.
I know I wouldn't want to fight more than one of her, if we give the impression her skill is the average then the rest of our job is just standing about looking good.
Carefully pouring coloured liquids into vials and bottles took a good fifteen minutes before Whyro was done. Cleaning up took another half hour...

Finally Whyro was done, on his person he held more than twenty potions each one with a specific effect to be used in certain situations. Invisibility, invincibility, to lose sensibility... More than fifteen poisons and forty vials that Whyro created and named as 'combustibles' which are potions that explode and negatively effect whomever is in range. Each one stored safely strapped to his chest or secured in his bag or pouch. After finding his bow and filling his quiver with arrows Whyro put his daggers in place and put his trusty sword at his side to venture onwards towards the bar in the opposite side of glowstone manor to wait for the kings royal children.

The Haart heirs would arrive at Glowstone manor before nightfall and the team is to accompany the dear prince and princess in their journey in foreign lands... Having met only with the king Whyro has no clue if the heirs are intelligent patient noble sorts or the more bratty cliches one assumes of royalty. Regardless the Glowstone guild is being paid alot for this task with half the pay upfront on arrival, its no wonder spirits were high on the property.

When Whyro sat at the bar it wasn't long before a cold drink was placed in front of him and a warm meal was served. As Whyro cut meat into bite sized portions his thoughts were of the others to join him. Zeneb was essential, the front line of the party. Leo and himself provide excellent support and though not as capable as their female friend either one can be a fearsome opponent to face.
Concern was growing for Del... A woman able to communicate with animals and monsters much like a elf, but in the sturdy body of a human. Despite her quiet distrustful nature Whyro wanted to help her achieve greatness. Seeing potential in someone is something he has done twice over now to great success.
The Dancer and the Culinary are seen as legends of their craft. Whyro saw that in Del but found the third time a tad harder than the first two. Not that a setback of any kind would discourage him...
She should come along, see different fauna and monsters... maybe tame something other than that big cat.
With the Alchemist the Culinary and the Dancer in the party a recruit of any sort should be fine.
A shiver ran up Whyros spine as he finished his drink, ignoring that ominous feeling Whyro uncorked a flask and took a swig before finishing his lunch.

A grand royal carriage is being escorted towards the manor, the haart heirs shall be earlier than expected and with thirty knights protecting them they should arrive safely.

My next post will be the clients arriving so your characters can appear before that or after. Post order is let two others go before you do again.

Zeneb
Location: Glowstone manor

Zeneb was a woman of many hobbies, some even said collecting hobbies was her real hobby. One week she might be into sculpting and force one of the maid to be her model and stands still for three hours straight, then the next week she would spent dozens of hours practicing on the piano she just purchased, then next week she bought exotic flowers to make tea out of it. Out of everyone in the manor, she would probably be considered the most hedonistic and she wouldn't even deny if someone said that to her face.

This past few weeks though, she had been into collecting coins. No, not regular coins, but the unusual ones. She already had several coins from the past generations of kings, coins from kingdoms that didn't exist anymore, coins made by a cult of nature and more. It all started when she accidentally scooped someone else's wallet and found coins with strange engraving inside. At that moment her thought flew back to her homeland where they use these roughly shaped rocks for-hmm??

Zeneb's attention was interrupted when she noticed a large convoy just entered the manor. She was rubbing her coin collections in her room when she saw the group through her window and it didn't took her long to realize it was the royal carriage. That was much earlier than she thought it would be. She hadn't been preparing for the departure since she thought she still had time until evening, heck, she's currently still in her pajamas. Scrambling to change her attire into a dress, she then ordered a passing maid to prepare her traveling gears before running towards the bar.

"Whyroo, our clients are coming!" She yelled enthusiastly as she slammed the door open.

"I mean, erhm. Our dear clients have arrived, we should prepare ourself."

Leo merely sighed at the call coming from Zeneb, the woman getting lost in her latest hobby once again. He'd finished preparing for the trip a little while ago, and managed to prepare a small meal for the group, though the dancer had yet to show up meant it'd likely go uneaten and he hated wasting food. All of his own kitchen ware had been hidden away. He liked the people in the guild but didn't trust any of the other members with his cooking tools at all...not since the last time. His travel bag contained everything he needed for the long journey including spice he rarely used but given that they were dealing with royalty, Leo thought it better to have them on hand. He'd cooked for some noble folk before but never for more than one meal, though if they were more of the spoiled kind, he'd be happy to serve them more...experimental food. A smile appeared on his face at the idea, after all it had been a while since he cooked something like that.

Leo made his way back to the kitchen. The other cooks looked at him with sorrow over him leaving. He'd become like a role model to them. Even though he was younger, his love of cooking and recipes were inspiring to them. "Alright everyone listen up" he said, voice carrying authority even though he didn't shout to them. "I'm gonna be gone for a while. Now I'm gonna repeat the rules even though I'm sure you all know what chores you have. Tend to the garden. Not only watering it but keeping it pest free and healthy. Make sure the prep and cleaning get done. I don't want to come back here and have this place looking like 2nd rate tavern again. Take turns with being head chef, I don't want to come back and hear how one of you had gone all power hungry, that includes taking days off. Finally, if I find out that anyone is using my recipes outside of this guild, I won't hesitate to hunt you down and serve you to the wild animals in the back." There was an audible gulp heard from the group, Leo wasn't joking. He had an identic memory when it came to cooking but the recipes he wrote down in the cook book where only meant for the guild and he was protective of them. He made his way back out to the bar, ready for convoy to arrive.

He feels bad for you, you know. Its pity is what it is.
Shut up.
The dignified cat purred. The sound seemed to reverberate around the room and was the only thing Del could hear.
You’re nothing compared to them.
Stop talking.
They’re legends.
I know that.
And what are you? To yourself? To them?
I am something in the making. I’ll be like them one day, you’ll see.
Do they even know your name?
“STOP IT,” Del exclaimed and whirled toward the lounging cat. “Whyro saved me when I was close to death. He didn’t have to do that. He brought me back to the guild and let me join. He didn’t have to do that either. But he did do it. That’s got to mean something! I can be so much more than a farmhand. I can actually help people that need it when I’m here.”
Whatever you want to think. The cat cooed at Del. But you don’t even want to help people.
I do want to help. I really do. She had bigger fish to fry than arguing with a glorified housecat. Her room at the guild was a catastrophe; trinkets and oddities littered any possible space. Books laid open to pictures of grand animals. The noise and commotion from downstairs filtered through the open door. She didn’t know exactly what was happening, just that it was something major. Something so major, that whoever had asked for the Guild’s best. Everyone at the Glowstone guild was good, but the three hired? They were legendary. Whatever was happening wouldn’t be a small task.
“I am going downstairs to see if they need help with anything. You’re staying up here.” The cat looked unbothered and resumed sunbathing. Del shut the door behind her. Conversations and laughter could be heard all throughout the guild. Everyone seemed to be doing something. She walked downstairs and into the hustle and bustle of the busy guild. It was such a stark difference from what she was used to. There were more people in this manor than she had ever seen in her entire life. When she hit the landing of the stairs she shrank back. The crowd gathered at the front door was sizeable. She was going to turn back around and go upstairs when the regal sound of the carriage pulling into the guild baited her curiosity.

"our dear clients have arrived..."
Whyro stood from his chair looking towards Zeneb treating doors like a drumset. "I'll greet them at the door, Leo if your ready come meet the princess, you aswell Ze, you're quite famous at the royal castle you know"
It was something of a blow to Whyro's ego at the time, attending a meeting with the King of Hardvaar only to hear about how great someone else is...
With a exaggerated tone he continued
"from what I heard you made a large impression on Prince Davilk last time you won in the arena. Apparently you're all he talks of to his royal pa-pa king Haart..."
Whyro sighed before he spoke more seriously.
"you may have gotten us a lucrative job but I'm a tad worried we've been hired as very expensive escorts rather than trustworthy but very expensive elite guards"
Whyro stopped walking to look Zeneb in the eye with a tiny bit of concern leaking into the importance of his next words.
"Be yourself, but play extra nice... don't bruise, cut, paralyse or dislocate any part of the Haart heirs and just be your normal impressive Self. Apparently you my friend, are very impressive..."
After getting some form of confirmation Whyro felt a tad more confident about meeting said clients.
It could be very important business, but just as likely it could be babysitting a awkward attempt at a date a brat prince forced to happen... either way it should be good money.

When the trio walked into the entrance hall a number of staff were waiting on hand, among them was the newest recruit. Whyro gave a reminder to her
"Del, be ready for travel. Gurgot has many beasts much more useful than that dopey cat. This trip should be good for you especially..."

Without waiting for a answer the doors were opened and outside waiting at the entrance is thirty Hardvar knights and two royal carriages. Multiple knights got off their horses and stood at attention for the heirs to exit their rides.

Whyro sighed to himself hating the waste of time happening before him. Stepping ahead slightly and waving casually at someone he recognised as a man announced some shit before stating who had arrived...
"... i present Prince Davilk Haart and Princess Korrianne Haart"
Two beautiful people stepped out into the open, both with blonde hair that glows in the light and piercing blue eyes that shine like jewels. The attires obviously royalty but both heirs dressed for combat and travel despite riding in carriages.
Whyro wasnt told to bow infront of the king so he wouldn't bow to his children, though they looked like teenagers they were probably in their early twenties. The prince was six feet tall and the princess matched himself in height but Whyro couldn't gleam much from just physical appearance.

"welcome to glowstone manor, my name is Whyro Salvat but feel free to call me Whyro. My associates will introduce themselves but before the pleasantries i would like to ask about the current plans and our payment..."
It was polite but almost lifeless, as if stated in some form or another countless times.

The prince however spoke with a confidence that comes from royalty, "thank you Whyro, as per yours and my fathers arrangements nothing has changed. We have two carriages and escorting us is twenty of the finest knights in the Hardvar army. We require the Glowstone guild's finest to accompany my sister and i to and from the Summit of Peace with the Gurgot King. As for the payment, Half the gold is here waiting for you. I can have someone carry it inside the manor if you wish"

Whyro smiled a tad more genuine upon seeing two massive chests filled with gold that requires four knights to carry each. As eight knights carried gold into the manor Whyro became much more friendly "we can leave when you want prince Haart, my associates won't take long and waiting is no bother here as at the manor we have the finest cuisine and beverages in all of Hardvar..."

The prince nodded "those coming on the journey will rest themselves and the horses for a while before we leave. The goal is to reach the border by nightfall and we have more than enough time. My sister and I would be honoured by your hospitality"
Korrianne glared a tiny bit at her brother but ultimately didn't say a word... Davilk seemed happy enough but was casually glancing at each stranger a tad intense, almost as if searching for someone...

Zeneb
Location: Glowstone manor

"Oh my, Whyro. What's with the sudden praises? You feeling bold now? Want some good boy pats latter?" Zeneb let out a giggle as she teased the alchemist. She didn't seems to show any sign of nervousness at the prospect of meeting royal families as she grew up in a society with much different societal structure so she simply see royals as some sort of goverment agents.

As their clients entered the manor accompanied by their thirty knights, Zeneb simply watching in amusement while Whyro immediately tried to talk about money. Business-oriented indeed, but at least Zeneb was glad that there wouldn't be any problem regarding payment. Though she did notice the princess' expression at her brother's words. Were they actually in hurry, perhaps?

"My name is Zeneb." The dancer introduced herself with a bright smile on her face. "May the Gods grant us smooth travels."

Yep, Zeneb didn't expect this trips to be an easy or even a safe one. The fact that the royals decided to hire them on top of bringing along 30 of their own troops mean they're already expecting something. What's that something she didn't know yet but she might try to do some digging latter. Knowing was half of the battle afterall.

Leo stood leaning against the wall, waiting for the group to enter. The amount of knights and with how the pair ready for combat, he got the feeling that there was more to the job that had been let on. He had never been to a peace summit before, could it really be that difficult getting there. He didn't know of any politics in general but thinking it over...perhaps there was more danger than he realized. Though that mattered little to him, he started to feel the excitement build in him. Pulling a staff member aside he whispered to them, "Go to the back and get the plaid bag for me." While Whyro and Zeb introduce themselves, the staff returned with the bag. Leo checked it before making his way over.

"Hello and welcome both," Leo spoke in a polite if somewhat loud voice. "My name is Leo Marvell. I am happy to meet the both of you. A gift to help with the long journey. A bag of some of my finest baked treats. Made with my own recipe." He handed it to the prince, bowed, then took his hand and shook in a firm grip. He moved on to the princess then knelt in front of her. He took her hand and kissed it lightly at the top. "I hope you enjoy them" he said in a charming voice. He looked at her with sincerity, wanting to try to make a good impression. He may not know what sort of people they were but it never hurt to start off with giving a gift. He also left the top of the bag open a little so that the smell would waft out of the top trying to entice them.

Wait… I actually get to come along?
She had expected to stay at the manor while the heroes embarked on their questionably vague journey. Were they to be just overqualified babysitters or was it expected there were to be some rough patches?

Whispers rose amongst the staff gathered when the young heirs stepped down and out of the carriage. Both the prince and princess were quite refined, so much so it was like it was emanating off of them. The princess seemed cavalier. From afar Del could see her nose in the air. The prince seemed a little more courteous in the way he actually engaged with Whyro. Both were ethereal.
Oh shit, I need to go.
Del turned heel and walked as fast as she could manage back up the stairs. She threw open the door, terrorizing the lounging cat. They were guarding the royals. But it was also a road trip. Defense and travel equipment. She needed defense and travel equipment. She would probably be walking, so it should be light packing. On the table against the far wall laid her journal, open to the table of contents. There were still little pools of ink in the lettering, signaling more time was needed to dry. So many smudges already littered the book that it was on the line of legibility. Best not to fall into unreadable. She set the book down and headed toward the makeshift bureau she’d made to hold what little things she had. Looking at it now, it was a miracle the thing still stood. So much glue was acting as its lifeline.

She opened one of the larger drawers and took out a considerably sized fabric rucksack. It had two leather straps that could be worn over the shoulders to distribute the weight evenly. It was light and easy to carry while still giving a decent amount of space. While she wasn’t skilled like the Dancer in combat, her cat companion seemed to discourage unwanted behavior thrown in her direction. Del paused. She looked at the cat. “He called you dopey.”

The cat didn’t even lift her head.

“‘More useful beasts than that dopey cat.’ Verbatim.” She shut the bureau door carefully. “We are going to be walking a lot,” She said as she walked back to the table with the journal and picked up her binocular case. The binoculars had lenses that had been polished over and over, resulting in a crystal clear image even at great distances. She paused again, grimacing. A lot of walking. She already had slight pins and needles running up her leg. It shouldn’t be a big problem, but she would definitely need to bring her brace. She dropped the case into her bag. “And I know you don’t do well with walking,” She scooped her canteen into the bag. “And you are an extra mouth to feed.” She glanced at the cat who had resumed her nap. “Should I even bring you?” Would it be worth the trouble? No, she decided, it wouldn’t. She grabbed a couple of pants and shirts and threw them in. “The staff here can take care of you. You’re no different from a house cat. Well, you might eat a little differently. But otherwise, you’re just as lazy and unhelpful.” Del picked up the now-dry book and tossed it into the pack. Picking up the wooden brace that had been specially made for her, she slipped it under her pant leg.

She slung the pack over her shoulder and opened the door. The canteen needed to be filled, so she headed down the stairs to the kitchens. The hinges on the brace squeaked slightly as she walked. The excitement she hadn’t felt moments before bubbled up and over. She couldn't suppress her grin as she pushed open the kitchen door. The staff mosied around, moving around her. None of them paid her any attention. Leo is the judge jury and executioner for them. Nobody else really matters. She filled her canteen and went on her way, the doors swinging shut behind her.

She walked slowly, trying to remember anything that she could have forgotten to bring. Water, journal and pen, her slingshot was tucked into her waistband, binoculars, and brace. That seemed to be everything. Del could hear Zeneb’s loud disposition coming from the front of the manor, signaling it was time for awkward formalness and forced small talk. She then heard Leo’s voice too and sped up. It would be rude to be late.

The hinges creaked in protest. She slowed down just as she was about to round the corner. They were even better looking up close. Because she was not one of the more valuable people in the room, she hung back until she was summoned.

The prince smiled at everyone but mostly at Zeneb, when Leo introduced himself he looked a tad surprised but split the first thing he got out the bag with a knight standing close by. Both so impressed they didn't notice Leo kiss the princess's hand. Her face remained stoic but she did speak whilst looking at everyone in turn, "Leo, Zeneb, Whyro... i thank you for joining us. While our journey ahead is for the sake of peace, Gurgot is a land of many dangers. I feel a tad relieved by the calm relaxed nature of you all"
Korrianne forced a smile as she walked towards the manor.
"i shall be ready to leave after...I..." "Take a visit to the toilet?"
Davilk interrupted with a teasing assumption.
"...yes." "bahahaha aw dear sister, you shouldn't act cold, especially if you have business to attend to on property grounds..."
Davilk turned to Leo to compliment him.
"Leo right? That croissant was amazing. Best ive ever had."
The prince quickly moved on to address Zeneb as a knight who was finishing said croissant approached "it's way better then the provisions from the palace..."
The Princess glared a bit more at her brother but was grateful when one of glowstone's attendants escorted her and a few others to a place to freshen up. Whyro looked at the two carriages and the twenty knights who would escort this group and figured out where he would sit. The princess was beautiful but didn't seem much for talking in his immediate opinion. Leo might want to force conversation with her. The prince obviously wants to sit next to Zeneb, wouldn't be surprised if he brought two carriages along just to...
The prince smiled as best he could, it was obvious he was excited and a tad nervous. Perhaps anxious as his hand quivered in a motion attempting to shake the dancers hand but quickly deciding not to.
"Zeneb! It is truly a pleasure to meet you, I would love to speak to you alone while we journey to Gurgot. I would love advice or pointers in combat from a esteemed champion like you."

knew it

Whyro thought to himself with a knowing smile. Not one to be stuck in his thoughts he moved over to make conversation with Leo so they could pretend not to notice if the prince was declined or not.
"Leo my friend, what say you ride with the princess and guard her and Del and I can ride uptop. I've not the same gift as her telepathy with beasts but I've a lesson to teach her which these horses should help with... also that jerky you made, if you have that or anything similar I'd appreciate a pouch or two for the road..."

After another two posts I will skip us to moving on the road. You can make these posts short if you want to move along faster or longer if you want to make conversation or prepare further. Bringing your own horse/lizard/bird to ride along with the party is fine however glowstone has no tame flying beasts at said moment.

Zeneb
Location: Glowstone manor

Zeneb almost let out a chuckle as it turns out the princess uncomfortable demeanor was caused by toilet business, almost. She kept her smile up as she watched the royals settled in their manor. Leo and Whyro should be able to handle themself in front of these royalties, but she was quite worried of their newcomers. Getting a job this big so soon would surely put some pressure on her. If only she had the opportunity Zeneb would like to use this mission to help her but unfortunately, she might be quite busy for this entire mission. Just as she thought about that, the prince expressed his interest to travels with her.

"That would be my pleasure, Prince Davilk. I'm sure we can learn from each other." The dancer accepted his request.

Leo bowed and laughed at the compliment. “Thank you, if you would like more I’ll try to find a way to bake some on the journey. Though I cannot guarantee if they will turn out the same way.” He merely let out a sigh at Whyro. He went back to the kitchen and got out a little wrapped parcel, the scent of spiced meat waffled out from it. Before he went back out, he grabbed a loaf of bread, wrapping it up in a cloth. “If you insist I’m fine with that arrangement.” He handed the jerky to Whyro, “Try to make it last if you can, it’ll be a bit before I can make more.” He made his way to Del and handed her the bread. “For you seeing you didn’t eat with me and him. I added a few flavors to it so it isn’t plain.”

Del hastily waved at the royals, knowing it wasn’t the respectful thing to do, but she didn’t want to insert herself in their conversations. While everyone went inside to take care of whatever they needed to, she stayed outside. She threw her bag up on the front of the carriage they were taking and hoisted herself up (rather ungracefully). She situated herself and took her journal and pen out of her bag before shoving it under the bench-like thing. A few creatures she hadn’t had the chance to draw, so this would be the perfect thing to pass the time.

The visitors spent their time in glowstone manor mostly at the bar enjoying a moment of rest before the journey. The horses were fed and led to a clean source of water before the party left...

Twenty knights escort the carriages, mostly uneventful for them. Whyro and Del sat ontop the second carriage, the Alchemist explained his experiences with animals in hopes of teaching the new recruit. The main point of his many examples was confidence and dominance...
Be it when he had to transform into a Flying Rat or the time he needed to interrogate a gorgon. "...They will not help you if they do not respect you. Beasts and monsters are similar in this way, take these horses. Wild horses won't let any random person ride them, horses had to be broken before they could be taught..."

The Prince and Zeneb sat in the first carriage. Though it didn't take long on the journey before Davilk poured himself and his company a glass of wine each. His conversation started about watching her latest victory, it may have been the two glasses of wine during but Prince Davilk was getting much less refined in his tact... Obviously undressing the dancer in his imagination and attempting to sit closer then need be.

The Princess and Leo sat inside the second carriage, for the Culinary it was obvious that Korrianne was hiding a wave of anxiety despite her stoic face. She wouldn't speak unless spoken to and the only topic that she would discuss for any length was in relation to the upcoming summit of peace. The princess however was deep in thought and rather nervous, one could guess frightened...

The party is making good time on the road, they should reach the border checkpoint before nightfall if nothing gets in their way.

Zeneb had been handling the prince calmly, keeping up with the conversation while very slowly sipping her wine. Most of the time she would let Prince Davilk talk but whenever he seemed to have nothing more to say she would take over the conversation with various random topics. After a few glass it was quite obvious that the prince had been affected. A mischievous grin briefly appeared on Zeneb's face before she transformed it back to her regular sweet smile.

"Prince Davilk, do you want to play a game with me? I like blackjack so I want to play it." Ruffling through her bag, Zeneb pulled out a set of playing card and showed it to the prince. She dragged her fingers repeatedly across the side of the cards, creating a subtle cards flapping sound before she put her index finger in front of her lips as if she's going to tell the prince a secret.

"The winner can request one thing from the loser~" She winked at the prince.

Leo looked over the supplies in a list he carried, wanting to plan out the next meal. In the seat across from the princess was quiet. There was a somewhat awkward silence between them, though that was because no matter what he tried, very few words left her mouth. The silence was nice but he could tell there was something that she wanted to talk about. “Alright out with it” he said as he looked up at her. “You can try to hide it but your radiating fear now. Like a convict trying to remain calm during interrogation.” He reached for a bottle and some glasses, pouring for them both. “I know that we’ve only met but clearly there is something that you are holding onto.” He knew that she’d likely not respond to him right away but offered her some anyway. “Hey you’re not only paying for our protection, you’re also paying for our company, that includes us not telling any secrets or feelings you might have. You have my silence and my word” he handed her the glass of wine “you’re call.”

The Princess stares a dagger or three at Leo despite the fact she agreed with most of what the man said. "im not 'radiating fear" Korrianne sounded a bit offended but continues...
"I am nervous perhaps but I've no fear to speak of, I've only disappointment in my father and disdain for my brother. To think he would send his only children to a neighbouring land that still fight amongst themselves for the crown... Davilk has been giddy with a thirst for that dancer woman he hasn't noticed we are essentially travelling to what could be our untimely deaths."
The princess wouldn't be interrupted.
"But apparently my concerns mean nothing because you legends of our kingdom can resolve any issue and keep us both safe as it happens. The nerve of father believing three individuals impressive as you all could be, is enough to protect us from a foriegn land full of bandits monsters and worse to visit a kingdom full of backstabbing curs."
She takes the glass of wine rather quickly and finishes it even quicker but declines a second glass. A hint of a smile returned to her face after getting her rant out.

After three glasses of wine the prince was feeling especially handsy, upon the mention of a game and the winner making a request his eyes flashed as did a cheeky grin.
"miss Dancer what would you ask of me? I have a few things I could ask of you..."
Reaching for the deck of cards he would attempt to take them or fall ontop of Zeneb at a clumsy attempt at flirting hoping that some playful wrestling would end up as something else.

A knight rode up alongside the carriage to shout at Whyro. "We should be seeing the checkpoint soon."
Whyro nodded and gave some indirect orders,
"we'll rest at the border overnight, won't be safe to travel into Gurgot at night. Let the rest know"
Whyro turned back to Del to offer some more useless wisdom.
"...what was i saying? Ah right, I proved it possible to survive years with only alchemy but ultimately the benefits of a good meal outweigh the time I had gained by skipping out anything to do with food from my schedule. Leo can tell you aswell, one needs proper nutrition to function effectively."

Zeneb kept her smile on her face as the prince clumsily tried to reach the card and tried to stumble his way onto her. Unfortunately for him, Zeneb had expected frontal action like that. She quickly pulled the napping pillow from the seat next to her and put it in front of her so the prince stumbled onto it instead. Then she gently push the prince down so the pillow and his head rest on her laps instead.

"There, there, prince. You're a bit drunk so you should be more careful. I'm actually quite fragile you know~" She said softly as she gave the prince's head a few gentle strokes. Zeneb was well aware she's kinda playing with fire here as the man in front of her was the prince, but, but, she couldn't resist the chance to tease the him. Playing someone powerful like a fiddle, making him dance to her tune. It's just so deliciously thrilling for her.

"Too bad though, the winner this time is me." Zeneb showed him the set of bust cards on his hands. Truthfully the moment he agreed to play her game with her equipment the winner was already decided.

"Oh my, I don't actually expect to win, my prince. Hmm... I don't actually have anything to ask you right now so let me save this for later. We can play another round later during our way back home so stay safe until then, allright?"

"For now you should take some rest. You're the prince so you shouldn't look vulnerable in front of the others." Zeneb let out some soft tone as she hums a gentle lullaby to encourage him to sleep.

Leo listened to her vent, how she didn't even try to hide the anger with her family. Happy she had gotten that weight off of her. He couldn't really relate, he'd been on his own for so long, the people at the guild were probably the closest thing he had to a family but no one there felt like that to him. "Now follow me here, but it could be that the king actually has faith in your skills and believes you would be helpful with the political problem there?" A knight pulled up next to them and told them of Whyro's orders. "I suppose I better start thinking of what to make. I didn't expect to be feeding a group this big. I'm more than up for hunting whatever creature might live here though."
