Jolie Baptiste: New Metropolis, The Badlands (Gladius-IV)
"I don't know." Jolie shook her head "She just told me I'd be saving lives and to get that girl down there to the south. To the Mages."
She rubbed her head "We never actually made a deal. Fea can be tricky, so that's better avoided. Even if they promise you the world, it's important that you don't listen to them."

She sighed.
"I want to least talk to this woman. Maybe she knows why she's so important."
Crane dusted himself off.
"I know why she's important." He said "I don't know much about these Fea you're talking about, but there are others looking for her."

Kanna went thinking, but nothing came out of her mind. And so, she shook her head in response to the tour guide. However, a part of her wondered if her "parents" are still out there or...maybe let's not jump to that conclusion.

'Sam, back of the mech's knees. Take them out.' Boss said, and as Samus already had her Magnum drawn and prepared to fire on the hydraulic joints, it happened. A pod somewhat in style of the SOEIV that the ODST's used tore through the upper ceiling of the Citadel as if it were plywood, and slammed right into the gigantic metal biped's head. Fragments, chunks and a outright shrapanel of metal, conductive fluids, oil and what appeared to be a fine red mist blew through the head compartment or the Mobile Suit, and Samus could only watch as the legs buckled from the sudden loss of control coupled with the kinetic impact as it sent the damn thing to the ground with a gigantic thud. The being that exited the pod made her do a double take as she slapped her Magnum back to her hip. He was no doubt a human, yet why the hell was he dressed so oddly? As if Boss were reading her thoughts, his own question served to bring on added confusion for her. 'Is that a clown?'

Samus muted her external speakers for only a second. "Hold that explination; we have to keep moving." Unmuting her speakers and channeling to her E-Band, she spoke once more. "Threat down and area secure. Debreif might have to wait until we get off this station, Three. Reinforcements might be inbound; regroup and prepare to engage." She glanced to Alva, then Oliver and began heading doubling back toward the C-Sec area, now pulling her MA5B of her back and thumbing the safety off. Surveying her options, there were only two possibilities she deduced from thought. "We either double back to C-SEC and cause a war on two fronts asking for directions, or we run through them to their shipyard. Anyone else have anything, speak up now."

ZEONIC HIGH COUNCIL COMMAND CENTER

"Sir, we have reports of an unidentified flying object penetrating our colony's I-Field, and we've lost contact with a Zaku crew operating in the area!"

"So the Earthnoids have struck first, eh?", a shadowy masked figure replied from a small throne in the rear of the Zeonic High Council's command center, just in front of the giant oil painting of Side 5, "Very well, dispatch a squad out to flush out the intruders and put all forces on high alert!"

"Should we assemble a search party for any civilians, sir?"

"It is a waste of time to search for those who died in battle. Swift action leads to victory, lieutenant, and victory is the greatest tribute we can pay to those who sacrifice their lives for us. SEIG ZEON!"

The lieutenant saluted on reflex, tears of patriotic joy filling his eyes. Truly, it was a shame to lose such tender, innocent lives- proud, noble lives that wished only to kill millions of Earthnoids and maybe also some of their own citizens in an attempt to return Earth to it's pristine and natural state: An ash-covered tundra undergoing a second global ice age. But they would take this sorrow, and turn it into anger. They would take anger, and turn it into strength!

"YES SIR! SEIG ZEON!"

GLADIUS I, CITADEL, WARDS, PRINCIPALITY OF ZEON

The pavement shook violently, followed by the loud, distinctive sucking noise of a large-scale catastrophic hull breach. Even as the initial tremor passed, though, the Principality Of Zeon's roads retained a distinct, rhythmic vibration, and the reason soon became evident.

Anyone with two eyes or some sort of fancy space radar would find half a dozen equally massive robots, similar to the first but lacking the orange markings, rapidly converging upon the group's location. The group was headed up by a somewhat odd-looking blue Zaku, and had equipped themselves with weapons ranging from the standard Heat Hawk and Zaku-scale machineguns to the more esoteric 280mm Zaku Bazooka. And at the speed they were goose-stepping, they'd be on top of the party in a matter of minutes.

Any rising sensations of panic weren't helped by a nearby manhole suddenly rocketing off it's bearings to land in a far-off alleyway, but that one turned out to just be Torgo. The android stared blankly at the far-off mecha squadron before swiveling her head to face the group.

"Ah, (pending) Master and company, it is good to see you again. As predicted, you have utterly failed to evacuate enemy territory after insulting their taste in posters, and are now find yourself surrounded by a horde of fanatical, angry Zeonites on one side, and a very possibly hostile police force on the other. Gracious, whatever shall you do."

Torgo flipped her arms upwards and clapped her hands on her cheeks, nearly throwing herself off balance and sending her into the maintenance tunnel she was perched in.

"But wait, Torgo has found the (pending) Master an escape route which the aforementioned Zeonites and police forces cannot practically enter. How helpful you are, Torgo. You are the greatest, Torgo. We will never threaten to fire you over petty disputes again, Torgo."

As she began to climb back downwards, Torgo cocked her head upwards.

"The (pending) Master is welcome."

Namorae: The Western Graveyard, The Badlands
Namorae hums softly, trying to think of the words. “I do not know if vampires in your world are different, but… he is doing well, for a vampire of his age. He still has very little in the way of empathy, at least for most people, but he goes through the motions for my sake, which is kind of him.” She smiles a bit sadly. “He might be starting to learn how to feel again, I think. He still thinks I feel too much. He says I need to calm down, and look at situations logically. And also he was nobility in life, and still acts like it, and my true personality is a bit too chaotic for him.” She chuckles softly. “I love him dearly, though. It was not easy for him to raise me, and I think he did well.”

Shoe-Snatchin' Willy: Citadel Presidium, Gladius-I
Now that he wasn't an innocent little clown encased in a ship-sized Immovable Rod, Willy took a moment to assess his situation. For one, he was gonna get blamed for wrecking up this station. For another, someone was going to want him to pay for the destruction of this... Willy examined the smoking heap he left behind. Building-sized Firefighter Ripley APLU? He could have used that!

Given current events, it would probably be better to stick with these randos rather than wander around the streets waiting for the redshirts to find him. The party was trying to split itself three ways: the one with the Skrillex hair wanted them to go crawling around in rubble to find an escape route, the big one in the armor wanted them to turn themselves in, and the-- oh hey, he knew that speech pattern anywhere! A Service Cyborg! It wanted them to crawl around in the maintenance tunnels. Well, ol' Willy was an expert at escaping hordes of goons, so he knew exactly what these options entailed.

Screwing around in the rubble would--best case scenario, mind--end in them being crushed and killed instantly. At worst, security would catch up. If they tried to go to security outright, they'd get jailed, probably permanently. They'd be lucky if they were allowed onto the escape pods as the station exploded. The cyborg was a toss-up: either it was following its laws and was preventing human harm, or it was also following its laws and planning to trap and kill them all.

"Eh," Willy said aloud. "Better to be spaced than stomped by security. Anyone else going with the borg? Oh, by the way; my name's Willy. I'm a clown."

Messier: Diamond City, The Badlands (Gladius-IV)

The petrified meat had become the center of Messier's world for the moment, at least until the music had started. A strange woman had apparently approached the group and was having some sort of emotional breakdown and seemed to want a fight over nothing as far as she could tell. Her strange power combined with the fact that she was quickly resorting to violence told Messier one important thing. The musician had to be from the Netherworld. Messier had only met a few people from that horrible place, but they were all violent idiots, always willing to attack people at a moment's notice. It was obvious to her that she would have to deal with this woman as it was unlikely anyone else could.

Then the burning camp appeared, and from it emerged beings engulfed in flames. Some of them looked as if they still lived but others looked as if they were vengeful spirits, seeking to get revenge against the cruel world that allowed this horror to be inflicted on them. Quickly, Messier took to the Shaper's side to warn her. "Be careful, I think she's from the Netherworld. That means she's going to be stupidly strong, and even worse I think she's using some variant of Veridian Copper to summon these beings." The power she referred to allowed the user to summon hordes of explosive zombies and while most of these beings seemed alive, it would be smart to assume the worst. Especially since the people of this world were significantly more fragile than she was.

One of the livelier bodies rushed towards the fusionist, but she was unfazed by this and simply pointed her sunflower at the burning being. "Helio Shot." A rapid fire burst of focused light shot out from the flower and burned through the gypsy before it evaporated into nothingness. "Huh, I expected more than that." But out of the corner of her eye, she saw the same burning gypsy reappear from behind a tent. "Oh you have got to be kidding me! Hey! Netherworld Lady! Cut it out with your lame Veridian Copper knock off! I've beaten your kind before, so don't make me do it again!" She then raised her flower at the musician before firing another burst of solar rays at her. Maybe it was wrong to fire immediately after telling someone to not give you a reason to shoot, but the odds of a mere Helio Shot taking out a Netherworld dweller were low and it might just show how serious she was.

He was not going to let his subjects die again, after all.

"Yeah, we should." Sougo expressed his acceptance with his usual smile. "We're currently lacking in supplies right now, but I feel like we could manage." He said in an optimistic tone, pondering if there even is a slither of a chance that they'll be able to take down the Great Hunger.

Alva Bòideach: The Citadel Presidium (Gladius-I)
"Can we trust her?" Oliver glanced over at Alva
"Yeah."
"Why? If she'd kept her mouth quiet we wouldn't even be in this mess!"
"Those people would've come after us anyway. They killed one of their own just for helping us! That's not Torgo's fault!"

Alva approached the manhole and looked down. Big enough for a tiger or even a tall soldier in armour but definitely not big enough for a giant death robot or even a squad of troops. They'd have to go down one at a time, but so long as they moved quickly and quietly there was a chance of escape.
"She is manipulating you. Do not trust her. She has no soul, how can one without a soul be trustworthy?"
"Ollie. Whether you like it or not, we need her. We're way out of our depth here."
"You're a fool, child! You cannot ignore me forever!"
She looked down at Torgo and smiled "I'm sorry. There's no way I could've left you on this station, especially with what I know now. " She shook her head "Look, we'll talk about this all later but right now we gotta go."

"Lead the way, Torgo...And thanks. For coming back, I mean."
The automated American had every opportunity to get herself out, and yet she hadn't. The Zeons had been distracted by the group and more intent on killing them than seemingly pursing Torgo, and yet she'd come back for them. It was rare for anyone to do that in the Bump.Inc days, or even think about it.

She glanced around at the others "We need to get one more thing before we leave. A potted plant. Or two, more if we can carry them. I'll explain later. We'll also need a ship that can keep them alive. Again, I'll explain on the way but if we don't it's gonna be bad."
"Wait, we're missing someone. We got a clown. Thanks for the save, by the way." Oliver nodded at Willy "A trooper with an AI." He pointed at Samus "Meself, Alva and the tiger as well as Torgo there...Where's the geeza who was shooting at the robot?"
"We don't leave anyone behind."

She looked to the approaching mechas, They were extremely hard to miss given their size but they still had time. A few minutes, maybe less before they were spotted and promptly blasted to bits. Alva shut her eyes and tried to focus. Between the group already surrounding her and the approaching army of giant death robots intent on grinding them into a fine paste or reducing them to ashes there was indeed one life sign.

Once again, Karla held up the disc with her tail.
"Oh, this isn't any information." She grinned "I'm not sure how much of it you heard, but there's some kind of army in the north that's preparing for an invasion."
She threw it into the air and caught it in one of her hands, tossing it back and forth between the two.
"Skaven, I think that's what they're called. Doesn't matter. What does is that this guy is a loaded businessman by the sounds of things and an army of giant rats marching across the world would be really bad for business."

Tossing the disc back to her tail and placing it back into her bag of holding, she continued.
"He's got connections. Nobody is that loaded without them. Our hope is that he'll hire us to deal with the Skaven or use his connections to do it, paying us for our troubles."

"I'll open the door for you." Crane said
The doctor dusted himself off, approached the wall and pressed down on an individual brick. A thick, dark green gas started to fill the room and Crane seemingly vanished along with it.
"I was given a very simple task. Ensure nobody gets the girl, and they'd help me perfect my formula."

As he spoke, his voice became more twisted. It was as if the doctor was speaking in two voices at once.
"What the hell is this?!" Jolie snapped. She tried to listen through the strange fog for Crane's heartbeat or the sound of his footprints but there was nothing there. She tried to scan the room, but there was nothing. Only the smoke.
"Marcus, he's blocking me. I can't..."

A familiar face would approach Marcus through the thick smoke.

"Hello, Marcus."
-
Jolie had no reaction to Kogan, looking forward and towards the door out. She didn't even turn around, instead she ran towards the door at the sight of Crane dragging (not) Marcus away.
"Hold on Marcus!" She fired a shot, aiming for Crane's shoulder but missed. Charging after Crane, she tackled him only for the doctor and Marcus to dissolve in the dark green smoke.
"Mages. No wonder he blocked my putain (goddamn) aura reading." She shook her head, cursing herself for not knowing better "You can have me. Marcus has got nothing to do with this!"

From inside the room, Marcus would not hear Jolie. Instead, it was as if the room moved around Kogan, focusing on her as she took a few steps towards him.
"We have a lot to talk about." She continued
-
"He is important. An endless supply of blood. It would be fun to hear him scream as well." A cold voice came from behind Jolie. She sharply turned around, standing face to face with a Vampire she had put in the ground decades ago. One she hoped to never see again.
Standing behind her was a tall and slim man dressed in an SS Officer's uniform. He was a pale and wrinkled yet youthful man with fair hair and cold, lifeless blue eyes.
"Hello, bauernhof hund (farm dog)." His accent was a soft yet bitter German, as if every word he spoke carried both bile and authority

"I-..."
"I-I-I. I killed you." He spat, mockingly "Did you seriously think I would allow you, of all people to end my life!? I had a plan." He shook his fist

He looked at Jolie, giving her a sinister grin
"All it took was a deal with a True Fae." He explained
"I took your head before, I will gladly do it again!" Jolie hissed, reaching for her bastard sword
"You'd kill again?" He asked, a look of fake surprise upon his face "My, my, my. Is it that easy to get you to kill? Did you ever really, change?" Heydrich mocked
"I don't have to take this from you!" She spat "I'm just making an ex..."

"An exception? Yes, I get that. But where will the exceptions stop? With me? With another sleeping boy you find at the side of a river?"
Jolie's right hand started to shake violently "I-I..."
"You will always be a killer, a rabid French dog who should have been put down a long, long time ago."

Vampires that struggled with showing or feeling empathy for others didn't sound too different from the Vampires of his world. Of course, the young hybrid's father sounded like he was at least trying to do better which made him more likeable than a few of the Vampires he knew back in his world. Immortality could get lonely, and that could make you cold.
Given the dog-eat-dog society the Vampires had built, making friends with other immortals was rare. You didn't make friends, you made allies or you kept your head down so that the Elders would leave you be.

She had made him better by the sounds of things, which reminded him of another Vampire. Forcing a smile, he briefly looked back at Namorae.
"I was a nightmare child too." He chuckled, shaking his head and looking back at the road "As for feeling too much, I think it's about finding a middle ground. You can't approach everything with cold logic but you can't treat everything with pure emotion."

Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi: Diamond City, Badlands (Gladius IV)

Shouts of Joy!

Of course the pleas for just practically talking out the situation, as Operator 6O would’ve wanted, funnily enough went up in flames. It was clear from the actions taking place that simply chatting things out would be like putting out a forest fire with one water barrel; ie. highly unlikely.

Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi disdainfully looked out of the corner of her eye as Aggro was loyally following the orders of her maker. With a slight flourish of her baton she distinctively pointed towards the creature as one of the smoldering gypsies, actually specifically the one that respawned from Messier’s attack, let out a horrific shriek as she charged and tackled the beast. Letting out a soft smile, Giuseppe began to laugh while covering her mouth. Narrowing her eyes she peered between Solution and Messier, as the most clear Germanic violated the honorable terms of combat by shooting without letting the warning go through.

From the tent emerged another gypsy, which seemed even more similar than the last, jumped up yowling in agony as it took the intense blast from the sunflower. It vaporized rather quickly before the process of smoldering gypsies emerging continued on. Truly it was a sad thing that the Romani people were able to breed as such, well that Verdi kept the horrific cycle of them going.

Echo around!

“You Germanic Barbarians...” Giuseppe spoke as she waved her baton around as a few of the smoldering gypsies proceeded to circle around their creator, as she began sashaying a bit closer towards the pair. “...Are all alike! What have your people created?! Nothing. I am descended from Rome while you are from vicious tribals! You are monsters. You steal the purity of the Opera, and warp it! You take away the focus on the singers and place the burden upon the winds and brass! And you claim that is Opera!?”

Shaking her head, Verdi waggled her free index finger at the two while making a clicking sound of disapproval. This was followed by a brief pirouette as she elegantly thrust her baton to point towards the duo.

Surrounded by killers!

The gypsy at which Harry was trying to put out, let loose a wild scream as it was being touched as it went about to smack him several times before eventually being put out. This man would know their pain; really everyone would. These gypsies lived to inspire the same blind panic that they felt, engulfed in flames, upon everyone else.

Of course this very gypsy emerged out of the tent, still on fire as if it was never put out. It shambled towards the minute man, moaning in a high squeal as it began flailing to strike them. All the while, many of the other gypsies were targeting the townsfolk to send them into a horrific panic from the events.

Giuseppe flourished her hand around and around as she gestured towards Messier and Solution. The circle around Verdi broke, while the other gypsies began spinning around in a makeshift waltz in an attempt to fill the gap that was created, as a handful let out horrific shrieks and began charging towards Messier and Solution, flailing wildly in any attempt to land a blow upon the girls.

Stopping in place, Giuseppe swung her hair back as she let out a huge smile. “Aah, isn’t it a lovely piece? It’s a lovely atmosphere, this helped move the larger narrative around, and overall is a nice aria.” gushed Giuseppe to her own musik; which was followed by a brief swaying of the torso from side to side as if hugging herself. The waltzing gypsies around seemed to nod, but whether this was out of respect or just an attempt to rid flames they knew would never go away was up for debate. What wasn’t however was that Verdi was not about to end this concert soon.

Especially when there were Germanic savages that needed a lesson.

The strain of giving birth to a Half-Vampire would have to be traumatic, especially for a sleeper but he hadn't expected it to be fatal. He'd read about it in books only, and most of them were very old or regarded as mere fiction by other Mages.
"I..." He fell silent. He took after his mother as well, with her eyes and hair but he gained his father's love for media that was made before Venkman's time as well as the man's height. He wondered what both of them would think of who he was now.

"Hey, what the he..." Harry tried to yell at the Gypsie, but she vanished...Only to emerge from a tent.
"I've never taken chems." He shook his head, looking at the city. The Gypsies were attacking people, causing them to flee. Diamond City was meant to be protected by it's large and almost impenetrable walls, meaning that many of the civilians weren't even armed. Some were trying to fight back using whatever they could get their hands on though, with him noting a woman armed with a cooking pot trying to fight off a few of the figures. Diamond City security and the Minutemen stationed there were fighting back too, opening up on the Gypsies with a mixture of pipe rifles and lasers.

An outworlder was strumming a guitar and screaming nonsense about the residents of the city being barbarians who never built anything. It wasn't the first time he'd heard words like that, given how every other person in Institute had a similar stick up their ass and her mention of Rome reminded him of the Legion but there was something else that drew his attention...The figures weren't harming her. In fact, they seemed to sway next to her.
Was she commanding them?

"I really hope I don't regret this..." He muttered, drawing his Overseer's Guardian. He lined up a shot, but there were too many of the figures blocking him. She'd dive for cover and be out of sight. Instead, he holstered the rifle and drew Lucille. The heated coils on the bat glowed while the Sole Survivor gritted his teeth.
"Listen to me you little shit!" He yelled as the musician, trying to get her attention "Do you think people here have time to write operas!? How can you write an opera when every day is a struggle! Do you have any idea what it's like to have to fight day in day out, just to stay alive!"

He swung his bat at one Gypsie
"You take a drink of water, you're risking cholera or worse!"
He swung his bat at another
"You eat something, there's a chance it'll irradiate your guts!"
Another swing, this time sending a gypsie flying
"I have spent the last few years just trying to build something so people don't have to struggle! And now you're trying to break it down?! Well screw you!"

Cait charged out of a building, followed by Dogmeat.
"What the feck is goin' on?!"
Harry pointed at the musician "She is. That outworlder bitch is trying to burn the city with goddamn clones!"
"What do we do?"
"I'm going to get her attention."

He pointed at the musician once again.
"You want to hear my music?"

I'll open the door for you." Crane said
The doctor dusted himself off, approached the wall and pressed down on an individual brick.

I can't..."

A familiar face would approach Marcus through the thick smoke.
latest

Marcus growled as Dr. Crane opened the door and pressed on a brick and suddenly some sort of gas came flooding out.

"Shit, Jolie?!

"Jolie?!"

The half terminator didn't have time to respond as Dr. Kogan stared him down in another room.

She stared at him with a dark face.

"What do you want with me, Kogan? Skynet's not here to save your ass this time." Marcus gritted his teeth and punched at her.

"Where's Jolie! What did you do with her?!"

The Mad Queen The Mad Queen Freshet Freshet Thepotatogod Thepotatogod Ennuis Ennuis DrBones DrBones

"Magical Music, if only that was the most bullshit thing I could think of." Jesus lamented as he stood tall atop Publick Occurrences and viewed the chaos below with a critical look.

With one hand on his holstered revolver and the other locked around a still struggling Operator 6O, he was fully prepared in case one of the dueling parties decided to turn their attention to him. Luckily, it seemed they were far too concerned with each other to care. With Verdi's gypsies riling up the locals and Messier and Solution focusing their full attention on her, he was looking pretty swell at the moment. Hell, he didn't even have to worry about any ranged attacks hitting him since everyone was aiming at opponents lower than him.

Which meant 6O didn't have much chance to slip away. She she struggled more and more as the fighting below grew worst, "Let me go! We have to do something!"

"I highly doubt that," Jesus shrugged without taking his eyes off the fighting "If idiots wish to kill each other, then they don't deserve the aid of their betters."

"Well let me do something at least!" she tried again before noticing Harry among the curfuffle "Harry!"

Alas, she was too far away to be heard over the rising cacophony of gunfire and spectral abilities; so she merely watched in horror as Harry began fighting his way towards Verdi "No! They don't know what they're doing!"

Her pleas once more fell on deaf ears, and with an aggravated groan she finally glanced back up to Jesus "How can you not want to jump in?!?"

"Just because I'm armed to the teeth and fully capable of reducing this entire town into an undead scrap heap, doesn't mean I'm willing to give my opponents an advantage by cluing them into my capabilities." Jesus explained casually

"But you'll have to in order to garner mercenary work anyway!"

That gave him pause, and he looked down to Operator 6O with a raised eyebrow "Excuse me?"

"Think about it! You want to earn money, right?" She thought quickly, trying to build an argument out of what information her captor had given through previous interactions "If you help out everyone at once by aiding them with this, and show how capable you are at the same time, wouldn't that mean word would get around that you're a good investment? You'd probably have way more potential opportunities for jobs even after the rat things are dealt with!"

To her internal joy, she saw his glowing-red eyes widen a bit behind his sunglasses. She didn't waste her opportunity. With Jesus suitably distracted with mulling over her words, Operator 6O quickly ducked down out of his hold before skidding off the roof of Publick Occurences. The moment she landed, she found the issue with the gypsies still very much engulfing the entire place in chaos. Looking through the fight quickly, she immediately caught sight of Verdi, and more importantly Harry drawing closer to her with his weapon raised.

"Harry, don't!"
She called out as she tried working her way through the mess towards him "She doesn't know what she's doing, she's just confused! Verdi, you've got it all wrong, you're hurting people!"

Up above, Jesus watched the android clumsily make her way through the battle before shaking his head. Still an optimistic idiot, but her words did have value. He had been operating under the admittedly short-sighted assumption that if he left this place to burn, he'd be able to find intel elsewhere. That was still a fairly plausible idea, but then he'd have start over from the beginning. As much as he'd hate to admit it, given the circumstances the android had made a fairly decent point. What better scenario to flex his sheer capability, and he might even get to put down one or two of those magical idiots. He hadn't had the pleasure of butchering an otherworldly being since the damned clown.

Besides, he had been looking forward to a good fight to get him back in order.

So as Operator 6O continued her desperate bid to break up the conflict, Jesus leisurely descended from the roof of Publick Occurences whilst drawing his revolver with one hand and holding out his other high above his head. A light formed in his free hand which his binary sword grew from. After taking hold of the sword and resting it along his shoulder as he took in the battle around him, Jesus brought his revolver up and casually pointed it from one gypsy to another.

"Lost souls cursed to flail to the burning whims of a little girl with a guitar." he commented passively before shaking his head and momentarily lowering his gun "Not the usual sinners I've purged, but I'm game."

And with that he floated off the ground before dashing towards the Musik infused tents which kept spewing forth the gypsies. In fact, one was just stepping out to join the others in their attack when it looked up just as a sword embedded itself in its head. Jesus landed beside the Gypsy before turning and putting down two more with well-placed headshots. He took a moment to turn and gesture to his sword, which flew from the disappearing Gypsy and back to his grasp. The others took note of him immediately, several diverting their attention from Diamond City's inhabitants.

He looked over the tents that kept spewing these gypsies out with a hum of thought before glancing back at one flailing towards him. He ducked under its wild arms and sliced it in half before putting a round through another as more and more seemed to spew from the tents. With another spin his blade cleaved through another group of them, but he finally loosed his grip and sent his blade flying into another gypsy, pinning them to the ground as they started to disperse. As he continued firing at the oncoming gypsies, he raised his free hand towards a metal panel affixed to one of Diamond City's roofs. It shook as he emptied his revolver into the gypsies, before tearing free just as his gun clicked empty. Quickly holding the empty revolver behind his back, Jesus swung his free fist forward as the metal panel spun in his telekinetic grasp. It followed his hand's movement, carving through the gypsies around him as he continued spinning.

Eventually he caught his footing once the herd of gypsies had thinned, before rearing back with the panel and sending it slicing through a large clump of the tents they had been spawning from. He finally released his hold on the panel, letting it find its home in the back of another gypsy as the tents crumbled behind it. Jesus glanced back and spotted his sword still stuck in the ground. He took the time to reload his revolver as he approached the sword, spinning the chamber and reaching for his blade as it once more flew to his hand.

"Even slower than the Auditor's goons."
he sighed before turning his attention to yet more tents spawning Gypsies from them.

Kogan vanished when Marcus' fist made contact with her face, being enveloped by the green fog.
"Skynet already won, Marcus." Her voice came from behind him "And you secured our victory."

"Do you not remember?" She asked, a cold smile creeping across her face "You were our secret weapon against the Resistance."
-
"Maybe I am rabid." Jolie sighed "But I'm still..."
"What? Better than me?"
"You're a connard (bastard) Nazi. I don't think the bar gets lower than that." Jolie scowled

Heinrich chuckled, throwing his head back.
"Please. That ideology was just an excuse. We used the crisis in Europe and the human's hatred for each other to move forward. Once the Axis captured Europe, the pathetic excuse for a Fuehrer would be eliminated and Europe would be reorganised into the first Vamperic Order."
"With your stupid putain de (fucking) face as the figurehead."
"Handsome and intimidating. A perfect combination." He grinned "Now, here I am. The Great Hunger has given me a chance. To achieve the perfect world."
"Not if I kill you first."
"It took several hunters, a Mage and four Vampires to kill me last time. What makes you think you could possibly..."

He was cut off as Jolie thrust her bastard sword into his chest, but the German simply smiled and vanished into the fog.
"Perhaps I talk too much."
"Oh, you think!?" Jolie snapped, bearing her fangs "Show yourself!"

The muggle seemed to be taking things well, but the girl he wasn't so sure about.
"Alright. This town here is called GravityVale. It's a weird place, but so long as ya keep right you'll be fine."

The town was run by muggles who acted like Witches and Wizards, although the half-giant suspected there were a few magic users. None had tried to approach him, so he had decided to keep his head down and avoid them. He'd had problems with the Ministry before after all. Old Woman Josie was an exception, as she had invited Hagrid over for lemonade and a chance to talk to her Angels.
The radio and the secret police refused to acknowledge their existence, which set off alarm bells. They had to be using some kind of enchantment to remain hidden.
"Listen, I can give ya some pointers. Directions. But I must admit, I'm not an expert."

"I know where to find one though."

The Mad Queen The Mad Queen

The Dark Enforcer; Mos Eisley, The Badlands (Gladius IV)

“Alright, alright...” The Dark Enforcer mused out as gun-shots rang out; such a thing wasn’t out of the ordinary in a hive of scum and villainy such as Mos Eisley. It’d be weirder if there weren’t any shots ringing out! Casually placing his hand in his pocket, the cybernetic brute wiggled his hand around as he searched for something. Smirking, The Dark Enforcer plucked a set of keys from his pocket and began swinging them around his thumb.

Cocking his head back towards King and Hunk, The Dark Enforcer gestured to the Argo-buggy which was still parked outside the tavern. “Aight; get in. I’ve got an idea of where we can get some leads, least on my end, possibly we’ll get a hint about Artemis as well. Alongside making a few bucks of course.” With a slow swagger, he positioned his way towards the driver seat of the buggy, using a set of fingers to wiggle in the ‘come on’ gesture known throughout a good chunk of the known universe, and placed the keys in the ignition.

Starting up the Buggy he drove off.

JUMP-CUT westward in the Desert Sea!

As the windshield wipers was cleaning off a large green splatter of carpace; The Dark Enforcer looked towards the horizon to admire a dash of a lowering sun. The destination was within their sights, glancing back at the crew assembled in the buggy, The Dark Enforcer let out a grin. “Welcome, to Higgins’ Hell.”

The scenery was entirely reminiscent of a boom-town; it attempted to be organized in a fairly straight linear fashion, as Jeffersonian ideals imagined, as was indicated by incomplete metal railways that were actually put in place but the majority was slight pockets in the sand where wooden slats were placed to indicate this is where the railway would eventually go. The city itself was far from complete, as there were several buildings which were still in progress; these structures were made out of wood. This place was overwhelming with a putrid odor and most everywhere the sand was thick and muddy; and upon the outskirts where they were coming up there were several crude markers of stone and wood to signal the dead, as if the many bumps of shallow graves were not indicative enough. Moving out and about from the city were mostly humanoid figures, as in they derived from the Earthen Homo Sapien family, dressed in multitudes of attire, but all of them were deriving from the styles of the untamed plains, regardless of some flashy bits or unusual looking goggles.

“Bit of background lore, for the Kid I mean.” The Dark Enforcer glanced towards Hunk before turning towards King and raising an eyebrow, “I think you’ve done a job here haven’t you?” Shrugging without waiting for a response he continued on in informative dialogue.

“Right so Higgins’ Hell, far as I know it was named after the first Magistrate – as for Hell, well that’s obvious. It’s a low down town that gets skipped by those other big locomotive companies; Old Higgins went about settling down this place for two reasons, the first was to have a railway stop for all that sweet cash from goods going back and forth, the second was legend of this place being a good source of Latinum and other valuable minerals.”

With a grand swooping gesture he pointed towards the dirtied workers who were slaving over collecting mud, “Buuuut, they haven’t had much luck in finding those minerals apart from a scant few long ago. So they mostly just move out mud for ceramics working, while trying to finish up a land based railway since they know they can’t compete against the flying sort.” Turning off the ignition, The Dark Enforcer began strolling into the town, gesturing for them to follow.

“There’s a few notable things around here besides the mud industry. There are some mines, like the one I own since I bested Yosemite Sam, a few clicks away from here. Besides that there are a few ranchers who operate in the area, which they usually get pestered by the Reservation for some alien species I have no idea what they are – which explains why those Cattle Lords are willing to shill out a fair amount of cash often. Not to mention their general attacks on the town and caravans that operate. Local Enforcement is fairly lax, not nearly as lax as other outlaw towns, but they are willing to let a few things slide. The Sheriff is an alright guy considering that; don’t make him try to wrangle up a posse to bring you down. The big thing for that is, don’t unholster your stuff in the public square like you really want to. Trust me, it’s not worth the hassle – it can be done at a different town.”

The Dark Enforcer rolled his shoulders around as he glanced up to the sky, eying some vultures hovering around in a circle ready for some unfortunate lad. Chuckling at that, as well as letting a quick breath out he continued on.

“Civilization trimmings; there’s the usual haunts you can expect. There’s the general store, nothing special but it offers the usual goods but it tends to get the newest bounties posted by the Sheriff’s Office. The rotation tends to be fairly quick, usual stuff alive or dead, with fair prices per head. There are a variety of saloons present, but I personally prefer the Plucky Bloom – cheaper rooms and the piano-player knows what songs I like and dislike. Gambling Houses, I personally would avoid most but especially Temple – the Faro dealer is an even worse cheat than other houses. If you are a hoitytoity man of culture, well there’s always the dance halls; which if you must go, Mined Canary, it has the finest display of the can-can you can get here and Rose is an easy to reach performer. And then of course there is the Post Office, which transports goods you need to transport discrete and efficiently.” Rolling his shoulders around The Dark Enforcer eyed his peers. “...Not to mention that at certain hours, there’s a back-room for some bare-knuckle fights if you know what I mean.”

“Personally I’d suggest establishing a base of operations, so to say, - get a room, then investigate on leads to Yosemite Sam and Artemis. Buuuut, hey, I haven’t visited this haunt since that job bringing down Skins-Without-Care! I got double paid on that, one from the Baron, one from Sheriff! So, if you want any tourism feel free to lay your suggestions on me.”

Solution: Diamond City, Badlands, Gladius-IV

Aggro's jaws snapped shut around empty air as Verdi danced out of the way, leaving him exposed to attack from the shades converging around him. All at once, a forest of ghastly hands passed straight through the Roamer's thick hide. Aggro collapsed, shivering and gasping; his heart pounded like a deaf composer's brass section as a flood of terror shot through his system.

The strumpet's shades encircled Solution and her companions, and began closing in as the strumpet spewed foul calumnity about Solution's heritage and--worst of all-- her credentials. Oh, that was it!

"I WILL RIP OUT YOUR HAIR AND USE IT TO SEW YOUR LYING MOUTH SHUT!" Solution howled, abandoning any sense of composure. With an arcane gesture she bathed her surroundings in scalding magical acid, not quite dissolving the shades but leaving them crippled and even more wretched than before.

Yugo moved to block any shades that approached Solution, banishing them with a well-placed jolt of energy or tentacle slap before lunging to bat away the next one. "You! Little one!" Solution demanded of Messier. "Charge the whore! I'll open a hole in the crowd!"

Simon, for her part, had gotten lost in the confusion. Without her master's dutiful attention, the clawbug had reverted to her base instincts: protect Master, kill Threats. Every body that crossed her path, shade or not, was indiscriminately brought down by either a quick snip to the legs or a venomous jab to the spine. Though she was working excellently at thinning the herd of undead, friendly fire had taken the lives of several townsfolk, their home-made pipe guns still clutched in their white-knuckled hands. Simon, already surrounded by the fading ashes of the undead and a handful of agonized innocents, merrily continued her reaping.

Messier: Diamond City, The Badlands (Gladius-IV)

While Messier didn't have high hopes for her attack to drop the Netherworlder, it still annoyed her to see it get blocked by one of the summoned horrors. It was obvious this fight was going to be an exhausting slog unless she stepped up her game soon. She considered using her solar bomb to clear the way, but the Shaper took initiative by dousing the area in acid and ordering Messier to charge the crazed woman. "Yeah, yeah, I guess I can go beat up the Netherworlder. I kinda figured it would have to be me anyway."

She ran as fast as she could to take advantage of the opening, which wasn't all that fast at all but fortunately the gypsies were slower after being drenched in acid. Around her she could hear the telltale sounds of carnage, other people were joining the fight. She couldn't help but wonder if it was bravery or foolishness that allowed them to rush headlong into this mess, especially with how fragile the people of this world were.

Once inside of the ring of burning people she pushed her previous thoughts to the back of her mind and pointed her sunflower at the rock star. "Alright Netherworlder! This is your last chance to give up! I've dealt with more than my fair share of you people and you're all pretty awful, so just hurry up and turn off your Viridian Copper!" She then raised the flower up to the sky as it begun to glow. "I'm giving you five seconds! One... Two... Three..." That was all the time she needed, hovering above the sunflower was an orb of light and heat, ready to be brought down on anyone unfortunate enough to challenge her, but she kept counting. "Four..."

TORGO - CITADEL, MAINTENANCE TUNNELS

The (pending) Master put forth the token bootlicking gestures considered acceptable by her kind after throwing someone away and realizing you actually needed them to save your keister. Such responses were predictable among soft-body types. Torgo slid down the access shaft to reach the bottom, landing with a heavy CLANK upon the polished chrome of the Citadel's inner workings.

"Please do not attempt to play games with Torgo's purely metaphorical heart, (pending) Master. Psychological abuse of this kind has no effect upon a machine intelligence. If the (pending) Master truly wishes to secure Torgo's undying loyalty, the (pending) Master would be better served by simply purchasing Torgo at the agreed market value. Otherwise, (pending) Master's status may sink to the dreaded [trial-user bum] classification. The (pending) Master's arbitrary demand for houseplants, however, is noted."

Torgo waited patiently for the party to regroup at the bottom of the shaft, surveying the tunnel. It was roughly eight feet in diameter, smoothly curved across it's entire surface. The ladder- really a series of rungs welded to the wall of the access shaft- extended diagonally downwards before terminating abruptly at a small aperture that was cut flush with the curved walls. The tunnel itself had no apparent lighting save for small access panels built into the right-hand wall every four meters, which provided access to several cables and a large pipeline containing a fluorescent green fluid that, in tandem with the polished surface of the corridor, illuminated the place admirably. The whole ensemble had a gentle curve to it that obscured its start and end, presumably running along the entire circumference of the station.

There was also an angry sort of rumbling noise off in the distance, but that was probably just a good third of the Citadel simultaneously exploding and collapsing in on itself.

Jolie spun around, coming face to face with Heinrich once more. He grinned, showing his fangs. She lunged once again, this time managing to catch his left arm when the officer raised his hand to defend his face. His suit was torn but he healed the wound in seconds, with only a few droplets of blood falling to the ground. A deep scar was across his cheek as well, but that healed over too.

Sheeva went down first, followed behind by Oliver and then Alva. Glancing up at the cover she waved at the other to follow her down.

She didn't want to leave a single person behind, but if they all stood out in the open it wouldn't be long before they were all dead.

While Oliver watched their back, Alva caught up with the Automated American as they headed down the curved tunnel.

She pointed at Sheeva "And yeah, I know I say this when I've got a pet tiger but truth is...That's not how I see her, and I don't think I could see anything, or anyone that way."

"But you said you needed a master of some kind to survive. So I will..."

She smiled "Can we agree to that? I don't want to call you property. That's...Where I'm from, that's. That carries implications. Nasty ones and I'm not that kind of person. I never want to be."
