Introduction
Birmingham, 1982. There are a number of criminal gangs operating within the city, but anyone paying enough attention will know the Walker Family runs the show. Allied with the Fletchers, as well as working with the police and local politicians on their side, the Walkers are the most powerful and dangerous family in the city. Since 1975, business has been running relatively smoothly between the Walkers and the Fletchers. However, with new threats on the horizon, it's only a matter of time before the streets are once again thrown into chaos and destruction. Who will be strong enough to survive?

This RP will be a sequel, set six years after Gangs of Birmingham: A Fight for Power. We don't expect you to read all of the previous RP, as we can fill you in on anything important and support you with your characters. The 1982 RP will have a new storyline, with new threats and adversaries. Some character sheets are already being posted in the CS thread and the histories will provide plenty of context there.
We're looking for relatives of the main families and members of the main three gangs (Walkers, Fletchers, Cranes). We're here to discuss any ideas you have and work on them with you.

2. Currently we are looking for 2-3 more players to add to the group of six. Doubling up on characters is encouraged.
3. Please only join if you can commit to posting at least once per week and intend to stick around long-term!
4. Romance is a wonderful thing and I encourage it, but fade to black if things become sexual.
5. This is an advanced/literature RP. Please try to write 3+ paragraphs per post.
6. Profanity is acceptable, within reason. No need to make it excessive.
7. Please be aware, the RP will deal with mature themes (violence, threats, drugs and other subjects you'd expect from this genre).
