WHERE OUR SKYLINES are riddled with elegant yet contemporary skyscrapers, the nightlife is bustling and the businesses are booming ! each establishment in the city manages to advance as the years go by all while keeping our deeply integrated history intact. a cosmopolitan society by nature, crystalline city is not just prosperous in wealth, but also in culture. our diversity has managed to keep this city thriving all while becoming a fundamental part of our identity as a whole. what historically was a community of little contrast has grown into a large melting pot and it’s exactly this that has united the 6 million people for the past ten decades to this day. crystalline city currently holds the number one rank in the most modern albeit normal cities in the world… that is… if you turn a blind eye to the superfreaks walking amongst the normal ones. if that little history lesson doesn’t catch your attention, we’re really not sure what will ! come on now, our tour isn’t over ! we’d love to have you around…
WHAT THEY DON’T tell you about crystalline city, however, is that beneath their perfect facade of modernity lies something more hectic than one would expect. with the steady influx of superhumans moving into the city came an alarming rise in crime rates. the primal nova of villains, full to the brim with pure evil, became a menace to society. they destroyed everything in their wake, hurt those who dared oppose them and even took territories to control for their own. to combat the villains threatening the safety of all the innocent lives caught in their wake of destruction, the league of heroes was born. they are the ones who are considered superheroes amongst the bad, the people who try to make the world a better place for everyone to live in. they foil the plans of villainy and help serve heroic justice wherever it is needed.
UNFORTUNATELY, THE PEOPLE of crystallite city believe all supers, regardless of what side they associate themselves with, are two sides of the same coin. they believe all of them are unnatural beings who should cease to exist no matter the risks due to the fact that they are too dangerous to roam the city freely. that is how it’s been for a couple of decades, and from the looks of it, no one is changing their minds any time soon. the sole reason why supers haven’t been eradicated legally is because according to the government, supers are but a blip on their radar. despite the civilians thinking otherwise, they do not have a negative or positive impact on everyday life.
THE MAIN QUESTION will always remain the same… where exactly do YOU fit in as a crystallite ? do you support the heroic justice of the renegades or the evil plans of mass destruction of the primal novas ? do you support the views of the civilians or do you think we can all live together in peace and happiness? the choice is all yours in the end, we just hope you make the right one.

Uptown crystalline also known as the sunstone district is known for having over six different boroughs and the safest of the neighborhoods.
- Malachite Learning Center: we all remember the early days we spent in elementary school all the way through middle school. the years that we spent learning and making the best lifelong friends so swiftly it almost felt as though nobody was ever left out. malachite learning center is filled with the brave young souls that will one day lead our nation. this is the place where the children of crystalline city will gravitate towards the paths that they’ll spend the rest of their lives paving.
- Richmond Hospital: if you eat an apple a day you most likely won’t be keeping the doctors at richmond general hospital away. there are rumors that some doctors accept medical mysteries in the late hours of the night. there’s a strict don’t ask don’t tell between these doctors and their patients. the only information they desire is what they’ll learn from patching these patients up. and sure they could ask how the wound magically disappeared within the ten minute visit, but they’re likely to just run the blood test and seek out the abnormalities. be careful who you ask for in the late hours, not all are friendly to… medical mysteries.
- Crystalline High School: wait… so you’re telling me that high schoolers normally don’t see flying figures catching fire mid air? that’s just an occurrence that may happen before the eyes of crystalline high? despite being close to the heart of a city wrapped in bizarre happenings, this high school is oddly normal. the food in the cafeteria is barely edible, the courses are boring and in all actuality not useful in every day scenarios, and the teachers try way too hard to relate. sure it’s something you never signed up for yourself, but after four years are you really going to care about that?
- Wentmund Borough: while crystalline city is beautiful in it’s own, we simply can’t forget about the wentmund boroughs, the largest and most populated out of the three other boroughs found in the sunstone district. this is where the majority of the civilians of crystalline city go to reside in when they don’t want to live amongst the bustling at the heart of the city. filled with heaps of rows of brownstone apartments, townhouses and quaint homes, these neighborhoods are by far the safest and quietest amongst all of the boroughs to bring up a family and live a peaceful life.
- Wentmund Park: this is where parents bring their children to play, where older folk walk alongside their beloved to feed the ducks in the lake. wentmund park may not be as big or as flashy as the central park in the midtown district, but it sure as hell doesn’t lack the charm. wentmund has large fields of grass for family picnics, basketball courts, and swings and benches. whether you’re here to relax or to unwind with a little run underneath the sun, this park welcomes everyone!!
- Sunstone Bodega: if you’re looking for something in particular perhaps you should take a trip to sunstone’s bodega? there’s no actual explanation but somehow it always feels like they always have exactly what you need. sure it may be eerily creepy, but what other store is going to always have exactly what you’re craving when you’re craving it? this cute little bodega sure will! ranging from magazines and books, to something to munch on. there’s a little something for everyone at this bodega.
- Uptown Cinema: sure they may not always get movies on time, but the uptown cinema is always running something. it’s the perfect spot to bring your friends, or perhaps that special someone. there’s always some deal going on whether it be on the tickets or the treats inside. be sure to impress your companions by playing the fun arcade games whilst waiting for your show to begin!
- Crystalline City Hall: his is where people hope to meet the top of crystalline’s formal hierarchy. metamorphosis of the city come to fruition in this place, where the important meetings and conventions happen. kind smiles & welcoming gestures are what will accept you when you step into mayor’s office. you can always find someone to get your point across about the issues you have concerning the city. friendliness, someone to hear your worries, a welcoming atmosphere that’ll make you feel proud of being a crystallite. – we hope those are what you are looking for because word on the street is it isn’t easy peasy to have a face to face conversation with mayor themselves.
- Galdwin Police Station: perhaps it wouldn’t be wrong to call them the legal heroes of crystalline city, police force. hecticness is present every day in the galdwin police station. cases to solve are complicated & ever so dangerous, this isn’t your regular police station. does it even surprise you? no coffee & glazed donut breaks for galdwin’s officers when the threat is something way more powerful than them. it is men versus supers, nothing can be easy nor simple. if you came here for your noisy neighbors, i’m afraid you have to wait a considerable time as bigger issues like blowing skyscrapers take the priority.
- Wingdam Tech: not only a symbol of success for crystalline, wingdam technology is a name known worldwide. this is where the bright minds & futuristic ideas inosculate. wingdam technology plays a grand role in opening up crystalline to the world & grips various scientists to improve city’s condition. the giant building has its sumptuous doors open for interns, engineers, researchers, everyone with an idea to make a change. rumor has it that wingdam technologies is the meeting point of heroes where every hero in the making happen by in order to train themselves before they put their capes on.
- Galdwin Subway Station: crystalline’s subway system is like a net covering the city in its entirety. always busy with crystallites roaming around & rushing to catch their train ride, galdwin subway station is a good place to start if you want to traverse this city on an affordable budget. you can almost land yourself in anywhere using crystalline’s subway network. have a pleasant trip, riding the rails if it’s a trouble-free day. but we don’t really have that kind of days around here, do we?
- University of Crystalline: why should you study at university of crystalline? for beginners, they have a wide variety of courses and programs to offer alongside qualified international academic staff who offer a high-quality education worth every single penny. those things listed are only a few of what this prestigious university can plight for undergraduates and graduate students alike. if you are not convinced just yet, an expansive campus enclosed by a vivacious city & oddities of crystalline can perchance arouse your interest.
- Crystalline Public Library: favorite place of crystalline university students by far, the enormous public library is loaded with all kinds of resources you need when you want to enrich your knowledge. it’s a sea of information for those who seek to learn more. if you are a bibliophile or want to explore the calmest place in crystalline, this four-story building is where you may want to spend your weekends.
- Galdwin Museum of Art: art is the only serious thing in the world, those are oscar wilde’s wise words. maybe he was right because despite the chaos raging in this city, this beautiful museum of art stands tall. an utter source of light and serenity for the art lovers. exhibitions all around the globe visit galdwin museum of art to serve a visual feast for crystalline citizens. openings here are high-colored & they bring familiar faces of the city together. don’t forget to bring your invitations with you or else you might miss a unique art experience.
- Patsy's Comfort Diner: if there is one place you should go to for the best food in the city, it would be patsy’s comfort diner. this establishment has been around for over five decades and it certainly isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. once you step foot into the diner, it’s like a flash into the past with it’s retro interior and dozens of pictures of old town crystalline up in the walls. never fret about the quality because new dishes always find their way out of patsy’s kitchen!! be sure to try the daily dish for the tuesday specials.
- Tien's Garden: whether it’s the aesthetic of the shop or the heavenly scent that fills the nostrils of every passerby in crystalline city; mr. lewis’ floral emporium, tien’s garden, is a shop that is frequently visited by many locals and tourists alike. what was once a wooden cart over on topaz avenue three decades ago is now one of the city’s most beloved establishments. mr. lewis is known to never turn down a customer, whether it be selling a single rose on valentine’s day or the most extravagant arrangement for a wedding. make sure to stop by and smell the flowers if you’re ever around, you definitely won’t regret it!!
- The Neon Room: widely known amongst the locals for being one of the most popular and largest dance venues in downtown crystalline, the neon room will always be the number one spot for a good party. opening their doors at 10pm and closing until the peak of dawn at 4am, this iconic club is famous for playing all types of music and keeping the crowd on their toes. the neon boasts chic industrial decor, state of the art LED lights, heavy bass and a bar with a vast collection of beverages. remember to keep yourself hydrated because the dancing never ends at the neon.
- Cloak and Dagger Tattoo Shop: unsure of where to get a quality tattoo with prices that would burn a hole in the wallet? the place every local recommends is the cloak & dagger tattoo shop. it’s owner, david dagger, is a celebrated tattoo artist who has been tattooing and piercing people from all over the world for many decades. his establishment is chic, clean, detail oriented and filled with people who are just as passionate about body art as the owner himself. make sure to book an appointment a month in advance because everyone wants to get tatted by mr. dagger and his staff!!
- No Angels Nightclub: ever wonder what goes on in the after after hours of downtown crystalline? if you’re not catching up on a wild party over at the neon or grabbing a late night bite at patsy’s, the next best spot for a calmer yet sultry hangout can be found at the no angels club. with cabaret-style tables, low lights and elegant velvet decor, no angels features live jazz, an upscale menu, and a large variety of cocktail drinks. when the night falls, however, no angels offers a classic burlesque show every two hours. some people say more goes on behind those velvet curtains on stage, but only the workers of the establishment will ever know.
- Nowhere Bar & Lounge: located on the 60th floor of one of crystalline city’s tallest skyscrapers, nowhere bar is an alluring and high end lounge that offers guests the most breathtaking views the city has to offer. complete with an expansive collection of beverages, including locally brewed beers, wines and cocktails, many locals like to come to this lounge to have a drink and unwind after a long day at work. some even like to hang out with a friend or two on the weekends. remember to make a reservation! this place is most popular on the weekends.
- Chrome Shopping Mall: wedged perfectly in between the energetic downtown area and the vibrant midtown, chrome shopping mall offers a little bit of something for every buyer who visits the building. with over 200 in demand stores expanding in three different floors, there is nothing the chrome mall doesn’t have. varying from clothing stores to an extensive food court, there is even an entertainment center to keep the kids busy while mommy and daddy splurge on a well needed shopping spree!
- Larimar Beach: considered the secluded and lesser known of the two major beaches surrounding crystalline city; larimar beach is a hidden gem which is found after taking a twenty minute hike along a steep trail located just outside the eastern area of the city. uniquely adorned by bountiful rock formations, a natural yet rare violet hue in the sand and low tides; this beach is easily a favorite amongst locals looking to find peace outside of the city. the police officials have issued a fair warning, however, to be extremely careful when visiting larimar considering there are and have never been lifeguards on site !!
- Abandoned Buildings: the true definition of urban decay, there is a haunting sort of beauty found in these abandoned industrial buildings which can be found a couple of miles outside from the city’s western borderline. these businesses were once considered the root of crystalline city’s wealth, but the larger that crystalline grew, the less inclined businessmen felt in investing to keep these factories maintained. forgotten for almost five decades; these buildings still stand tall and contain large open spaces decorated with graffiti on the walls and old rusted windows. they’re not visited as often anymore and because of that, locals suspect one of these abandoned buildings might be the hq to the city’s villains.
- Celestine Cemetery: open to the public from friday to monday, celestine cemetery is located an hour and a half away from crystalline city. surrounded by elegant gardens and hundreds of acres of rolling hills, this cemetery is the first of many options locals have chosen to memorialize the life of their deceased loved ones. from mausoleums to columbaria, down to traditional burials, celestine is known best for accommodating to all types of diversities and cultures. despite it being a place of somberness, this cemetery tries its best to keep everything as comforting as possible.

This will be a detailed roleplay with superpowered beings, you will have the option of being a hero, villian, vigilante or civilian. This will be a detailed roleplay with superpowered beings, you will have the option of being a hero, villian, vigilante or civilian. There will be slots for this roleplay as I do not want it to be big to the point where it becomes chaotic. Sorry it's such a short introduction but enough of that lets get to the rules!!.

- Don't be an asshole. Just that plain and simple
- This is a detailed rp so I expect to see 2+ paragraphs and little to no grammar errors
- Please use realistic face claims. There will be a list of face claims that I will not allow in my rp, don't hesitate to ask if a face claim is acceptable to use I will gladly let you know if you can or not. If I ask you to change your face claim please do so.
- Please fade to black with intimate parts between you and another character this is still a pg-13(?) site
- There will be no first come first serve. No reservations
- There will be no OP powers. No your character cannot be immortal. Character death is welcomed though.
- Be respectful to me and everyone else in this roleplay.
- There will be a discord, once your character is accepted there will be a link sent to you in pm.
- Please post at least 2 times a week if there is no activity from your character in a week you will be removed.
- Please commit to this roleplay I would really appreciate it if people commit, if it is anything serious that causes you to drop out please let me know we can come up with a way to remove your character from the rp.
- There will be some npc characters that you can use in just let me know in the discord which ones you will be using
