"Earl this isn't funny....you can't be yelling stuff like that in the actual Slytherin house.....or really any other house your up against....your asking to get jinxed..." Emily said in a hush voice blushing from embarrassment that Earl had blurted out.
"Let 'em try." He said with a wink

Emily huffed as she ate her breakfast a frown on her face.

"You do seem to not have slept much...." Alyssa commented as she looked up from her book flipping the page.
"Yeah you better not fall asleep during Earls match." Josh said through a mouthful of scrambled egg

"I'm not sure..." She answered her voice lowering to a worried tone as she felt she could not help them. "They arnt sick...they just seem as if they are worried or scared of something..." she added.
"Strange." He said. He checked his watch. "Gotta go." He inhaled the rest of his food and ran off towards the pitch.

"Yea..." Emily replied. "Bye...best of luck!" She yelled out as he left, at this point not even phased of how quickly he ate the rest of his food. She waved as Earl ran off.
The Wordsmith Myth The Wordsmith Myth
About an hour later everyone was gathered at the pitch for the first game of hufflepuff's season. They'd be facing Slytherin. Slytherin was already off to a good start having faced and beaten Gryffindor a week or so ago.

Emily returned to her room to take a quick nap, waking up just as the quidditch game started. She rushed out toward the match able to find a spot to sit by her fellow Slytherins. She looked out at the ongoing quitch game and from what she could gather was that Slytherin was at a good start. The Slytherin students cheered confident that their house would be victorious after the win they had against Gryffindor in their last match.

It was clear with Earl as beater they were not gonna get a repeat win. He was relentless in sending the bludger at the other team making so that they always had to keep one ey open for an incomning bludger.
