Jae had to think about that. He really didn't want to tell anyone his age but should he really answer her. He closed his eyes and looked up at the ceiling before looking back at her. "The beginning of this." He said while pointing to the light bulb. Okay he was lying on that, but he did remember when it happened, after all he was hunting when they used it the first time.

With Jae pointing at the lightbulb above them, Lyra had to think about all the inventions made since then – there were too many to list in just one sitting “There have been a lot since then, the first PC, email, internet, video consoles – I could go on for hours but I know we both don’t want to be standing here forever while I say them all” she said. It was mainly computers, mobile phones, the internet, cars and music that really effected the progress of humanity. Stuff like perfume that they were talking about earlier didn’t really impact the world greatly just a small amount but it was worth knowing about them. But even Lyra, who loves learning about history didn’t know every invention ever invented after the light bulb. Fray Dracoheart Fray Dracoheart Lazy Taco Lazy Taco

Again, Jae had to think about what Lyra told him before he remembered that she had forgotten to put something on the examples. "Sure those thing sound promising, but what about transportation? Isn't that what caused this world to have an advance tech, to improve the and what about music? Doesn't it help this world improve because of the different genre humanity has now?" So Jae knew about those because he had spent a month reading books to learn some things about the new world, and they mostly talked about Transportation or music being the main things that helped humanity develop what they have now.

“Cars, buses, trains were invented so now that we don’t use horses to get around. Cars are more personal practically everyone has one” she said, “Whereas buses and trains are more public transport any one can use them” she continued “If you’re looking for music, there are a lot more genres now: we have genres such as Rock, metal, pop, electronic. They are hard to describe it’s much easier to actually show you and let you listen for yourself” she said, trying to explain different genres of music was difficult. She pulled out her phone and clicked on one of the music apps she had, she had clicked on random and the first song being something from the Rock genre. She moved her hand holding the phone close to his ear, which was difficult since he was at least five times taller than her “Here’s an example of a song from the Rock genre, just listen and see what you think” Fray Dracoheart Fray Dracoheart Lazy Taco Lazy Taco

Jae had to take the phone away from her to listen to the music it was playing, no need to make her star in herself just cause she was short and he was tall. "What is the music called?" He questioned. When she explained transportation, cars sounded good but since he was faster than one, he wouldn't have to use it ever. "You're a short imp, with an intriguing smell." He muttered out without thinking what he was saying. So her and the other girls had smells that kinda confused him, it wasn't rare but it was intriguing at the same time. Something he always liked but he just couldn't place it where he smelled it before.

She asked Natsuki wondering what he had in mind.

When she got there, she saw a neko already there. "Hello, need help with anything?"

Yoko flinched when he heard someone call to him that wasn't the woman in front of him on the floor. He hoped she was okay, so he turned to see who had called him. It was when Yoko actually laid eyes on the lamia talking to him, that he was unable to respond right away. What was she? Astounded by the tail that trailed from the girl's torso, Yoko felt his ears shudder in wonder.

Stop staring, stop staring! Yoko chided himself after realizing he'd been staring for far longer than what would be polite. He forced himself to look the girl in her eyes, "U-uh, hi!" His voice was too loud and he'd forced himself to sound much too enthusiastic, but he couldn't stop himself now.

"My name is Y-Yoko, it's n-n-nice to meet you!", he introduced himself nervously. The fur on his ears was standing on end. God he was a wreck. He exhaled all at once, realizing that he'd probably just made a fool of himself, and began looking for nearby exits to run to. He ducked his head down as he felt tears form in the corners of his eyes, "S-sorry...sorry..." His voice was much more quiet now, his ears were drooping slightly.

“The genre your listening to is called rock” she said after he had taken the phone so that she didn’t have to stretch till the song ended, “There a lot more songs in that genre feel free to listen to some more if you wish” she said pointing to the playlist marked ‘Rock’, she was in no rush to get her phone back. Jae seemed interested in the genre so she was happy for him to continue using her phone to listen to some more songs. She turned slightly red and taken by surprise at Jae’s comment about her scent “Uhh thanks?” She raised an eyebrow unsure of how to take what he had said to her, a compliment? An insult? Although he did call her imp again which she was starting to get used to being called imp rather than her actual name. Fray Dracoheart Fray Dracoheart Lazy Taco Lazy Taco

Jae had to frown when he couldn't understand how this 'phone' worked,it looked really frustrating and hard to use for someone like him. "How does this thing work?" He questioned her. So he didn't know how this worked? Big whoop, everyone sucked at other things. "So Lyra?" He had to think about what her name was, afterall he had forgotten what it actually was. Kinda weird when he though about it but whatever.

“Here I’ll show you” Lyra said she was surprised that he finally used her name instead of the nicknames he had been giving her, she showed him slowly how to use the phone taking the time to explain it every step of the way. Showing him what button on the phone did what, showing him how to use the music app she had shown him earlier. “Any questions so far?” she asked making sure she wasn’t losing him in translation, remembered how difficult it was for her father to get a handle on technology so she didn’t want to start explaining things to Jae that would just make him more confused. She was thankful her phone was a touch screen it made for teaching people much easier. Lazy Taco Lazy Taco Fray Dracoheart Fray Dracoheart

Jae had to pay close attention or else he would had gotten lost with the way she was explaining. Heck he even had to bend down a little because she was so short, but it felt like the wrong mistake because her hair was hitting his face, something that kinda bothered him.

"So you just swipe and tap the screen, like this?" He had to blink once when his finger caused the screen to show cracks on it. How the he'll did it break? Was this screen so weak to a touch that he broke it without even trying? Well that was stupid and he had no idea how much it caused to fix it? That's if they could.

Yoko nearly yelped when the girl took his hand, not expecting her to touch him, let alone respond to his mess of an introduction with such graciousness. As she spoke, Yoko listened, being calmed by her voice, but not forcing himself to meet her eyes again. He wasn't used to looking people in their eyes, so he wouldn't. Then he froze, telepath? Oh god she could hear everything he was thinking! This would only lead to embarrassing events in the future, his thoughts were too sporadic and paranoid, he'd never be able to shut himself up!

As soon as the girl's hands left his, he was snapped out of his trance and he watched as she left to browse a bookshelf. He opened his mouth to speak, but as the girl went on talking about topics he'd never heard of, he felt his courage slip away from him. He wiped the remaining tears from his eyes and shuffled his feet indecisively, not knowing where to really go.

He was not oblivious to the fact that he had most likely been raised in a completely different world, than most of everyone he would meet here had been. It didn't leave much room for conversation when he had no idea what to talk to people about.

The Headmistress
Where:

With: N/A
Mentioned: Faust
Mae released a breath when the necromancer finally left as though she had been holding her breath throughout her time with him. He got on her last nerve, but she supposed if she could deal with Fukurou, she could probably deal with Faust too.
Her steel eyes traveled down to the bloodstained on her sleeve and her shoulders slumped in an almost imperceptible manner beneath her kimono.
She was barely dealing with Fukurou and she knew it. She only had one arm, the Imp was still causing mischief, and she was slowly dying.
It was only a matter of time before she had to choose a successor like her father had chosen her.
Her eyes moved to look where the history teacher had disappeared. Would the new Headmaster or Headmistress be more capable of handling the more... troublesome... teachers and students?
She'd have to find another Exorcist to keep control of Fukurou. Hell, what was the worst thing that could happen if she let the Owl Imp go free?
The thought was only a second and sent chills down her spine and caused her to visibly shiver. She didn't want to even think about the trouble that little thing could get into.
She didn't even want to think about the trouble Fukurou was making now.
She had to get the Infirmary.
The Imp would have to wait.

Fukurou
Location:
Auditorium then Outside
Mentioned: Mae, Faust LostHaven LostHaven
"Mae is such a prude. A boring stick in the mud. I mean, do you hear her? Blah, blah, rules, blah, blah, expectations, blah, blah more rules," A voice, difficult to tell if male or female in tone, came from underneath the head of a very peculiar owl cloak. The owner of said cloak was sitting high in the rafters of the Auditorium, sipping tea and casually addressing an owl perched beside the figure as though this were an ordinary, every day occurance.
"I just want this to end," Fukurou whined, leaning back further than one ought to go.
The Imp flipped back, now hanging from the rafters upside down like a bat. The tea from her cup, luckily cold, dropped down onto a student below. Said student looked up in surprise, searching for the source of a presumed leak, but Fukurou was already gone.
The troublesome Imp was now floating lazily on her back through walls as though simply floating around in a pool. She dug into the folds of her coat and produced a sphere which she began to toss up into the air and catch again as though it were a ball. She had found the thing sitting so lonely inside a jammed desk drawer and had freed it from its boredom and lame owner. The weird mask guy called the thing a pielacefairy and Fukurou wondered how a fairy could command both pie and lace with this weird ball. Eh, she didn't really care, though pie did sound good right now.
Fukurou realized she had made it outside when she slipped into the sun and the rays hit the shadow beneath her hood. With a long suffering sigh as though this was the worse thing that could ever happen to her, she lowered herself to the ground. In a blink of an eye, she was someone else. It wasn't a gradual transformation, it was more like a glitch. One second she was a figure shrouded in a weird cloak, standing below the height of five feet, the next she was the form of a blonde, tanned girl with sunglasses.... still below the height of five foot.
Fukurou continued on foot, tossing the pielacefairy back and forth between her hands and whistling a song that no longer had words.

Alex
Where:
Auditorium then Forest
With: No one
This whole thing was uncomfortable. His shirt was uncomfortable (the holes in the back were not quite big enough for his wings) the seats were uncomfortable (you try sitting in theater seats with huge wings), his skin was uncomfortable (those scales itches something fierce sometimes), he was just all around uncomfortable. Even the Headmistress was making him uncomfortable. Her steely, hard gaze seemed to go right to him when she said that non-humanoid students couldn't leave school grounds. He got it. He didn't look normal. Which might be why every other student left him alone in the back seats, trying to glance his way without making eye contact. Or that could have been because of how menacing he looked with his height and muscles and serious face.
Before he knew it, the speech was over and the Headmistress was hurrying away. Everyone got up to leave, but it seemed like they gave him a wide berth as he stayed and waited for everyone to clear out. When everyone finally did leave, Alex stood to his full height, stretching out his wings which gave a satisfying crack.
He left the Auditorium and headed outside, keeping his head down, his hair in his face, and his fists in his pockets. He looked like some kind of demon thug where just one word to him could become your last.
He slipped out the Gate and entered the forest where his body started to relax. Nobody was out here. He didn't have to distance himself out here.
With a content sigh, he sat down beneath a tree, removing his constricting shirt as he did so. The birds that had been on the tree left immediately, as did all the other animals in the surrounding area.
Though he knew they were avoiding him, he pretended not to notice as he closed his eyes, crossed his legs, relaxed his body's, and began to meditate.
Fauve
With:
No one
Where: Auditorium then Hallway
Everything was a blur of colors. Her vision was fading fast. When she arrived this morning, she could still make out shapes, but now, her sight was barely existent at all.
She could barely focus on the speech on stage. She knew her world was about to go black, and honestly, she was scared. Her fingers tightened around the papers she couldn't read in her hand. She knew they had her schedule and such on it, but they were meaningless to her. She needed help, she knew it, but she would be damned if she asked for it. She was far too stubborn. Too stubborn to asked for help, and too stubborn to let the tears that clung to her eyelashes fall down her cheeks.
She was going to be blind soon. There was a way to stop it, but she couldn't do that. She wouldn't do that. Not again.
The speech ended, but Fauve remained in her seat. The last of her sight slipped away and she was finally alone in the black. The tears finally escaped down her cheeks and silently, she cried alone in the theater.
Her hand tightened around the papers in her hand and she pushed herself to a stand, her long hair swaying against her tight clothes. The clothes were all borrowed, she had nothing for herself, but couldn't just sit here and feel sorry. She had to do something about it. She could start by trying to find her way out of the auditorium.
Using the seats as a guide, she carefully made it to the aisle, banging her knees against the seats more frequently than she would have liked.
She finally made it into the aisle and started to make her way down it, sliding her feet carefully along to ensure she was still staying on carpet. She continued on this way... until she ran right into the stage. With a short sigh, she turned around and trudged back up the doors.... Running right into them too. Now she was blind, slightly lost, her knees hurt, and her nose hurt. She was getting frustrated. The air around her rose in temperature, uncomfortable to all passerby. She leaned against the door and it opened for her, sending her sprawling out on her stomach into the hallway.

Selene giggled endearingly at the boy's accent and nervous demeanor, finding it kind of adorable more than anything else. She was a bit irritated that he didn't seem to be paying quite as much attention to her as most of the boys she'd seen, especially after what had just happened with Lorenzo. He was just too shy to even look at her, she thought to herself. Yes, that had to be it.

"My name is Selene Moonsilver," she greeted elegantly, looking directly into Hector's nervous blue eyes. "Princess of the Fey Realms of the west."

Just then, Vivian had yelled rather impolitely at a server for three chocolate cakes. Selene sighed quietly in disapproval, wondering why the lesser races could be so obnoxious. That said, she was ready to order some cake herself, especially knowing that she would be able to charm herself out of actually needing to pay anything.

"
Well, it sure seems like it," replied Jane to Matsuo under her breath, though she was still in disbelief that this fox-boy had actually came from another world. Besides, she was being a bit too harsh on him. She didn't want to seem just like one of those bullies who had led him into the dumpster in the first place.

"
My name's Jane," she replied bluntly. "You know, Matsuo, as far as I'm concerned, I haven't been in 'this world' for very long either. But I've learned at least one thing, and that's to not trust people that you don't have a reason to trust."

Jane led Matsuo around the corners to the other side of the building, arriving at the entrance to the dormitory. It looked even more impressive from here. Maybe she could really get used to this place, unless everyone was as clueless as this guy seemed. "Here we are," she said as she reached the door. "Now how hard was that?"

Faust- Outside
With- Fukurou ( Comix Comix )

Faust had barely even begun to walk toward his classroom when he caught sight of a circular object being thrown in the air. He looked at it a little closely, and his suspicions were confirmed. 'WHAT THE HELL?!' He screamed as he ran toward where his Pylactery was being thrown around. 'Goddammit, I will tell you one last time, it's a PHYLACTERY, it's my GODDAMN LIFELINE.' He hollered at Fukurou as ran toward the imp. 'Stop snooping around my stuff, what are you doing to that anyway? I swear, if you bring that to the Headmistress, I will f*cking kill you to death!'

Delphine Botan
Location: Auditorium - Hallway
With: No one - Fauve
Delphine had listened quietly to the speech the Headmistress had given and it was fine to her. Delphine did look human, with her caramel colored hair, a snow-kissed complexion with pale pink lips and an almost rosemary pink eye color, but she wouldn’t be able to leave the school grounds due to her having an animal tail. This was her only hindrance to leave, but why would she want to if she could stay here next to the school’s gardens and forest to take in her most favorite of all places. Delphine had waited while all the other students left. Some students gave a wide berth to a male with wings and scales, others making a beeline for their dorms. Delphine still waited, no one saw the girl that cried except for her. Delphine recalled her pain of being alone and scared.

There the woman was, extraordinary, the woman stands at 6'2" with a curvy hourglass figure which she keeps covered up at all time with (admittedly tight) long sleeved blouses, jackets, pants, and gloves. Her blonde hair, rarely tied back, falls past her waist with a slight wave. Her olive skin seems to give off a subtle glow, is warm to the touch, a d shows no blemish or scar. Her most notable features are her eyes, a fiery amber color that has no pupil, giving away the fact she is completely blind. Delphine was struck by her beauty, but even more so, her determination to make it on her own when clearly, from what Delphine could see, was having troubles walking into things as well as falling flat on her face into the hallway outside the auditorium.

“Are you a’hh righ(e)” Delphine spoke softly, she had no tongue, L’s, N’s, T’s, S’s and other letters could not be pronounced, she was often teased for being mentally incapable for speech, however, Delphine hid the fact that she had no tongue very well and so, no one asked if she was incapable physically to speak due to her disability. Delphine felt the heat surrounding the woman and wiped her brow. It was very uncomfortable to say the least, but in order to help the woman she would manage just fine against the temperature. So, Delphine bent over to help the woman up making sure to not baby or coddle her if she wished to stand up the rest of the way on her own.

Donovan Hyles
Location: Forest
With: Eden - Alex
Donovan had a nice shower, had read a few of his books, got his materials in order that he would need for the classes on Monday and Tuesday and set off with Eden his kitten on his heels mewing at him from his pocket. He was dressed in a casual white t-shirt, jeans, with black shoes, and he was talking to Eden about the forests of the school grounds.

“You see Eden. The grounds are surrounded by the forest, which in turn could have thousands of different medicinal plants and herbs to help people lead a more comfortable life. No pain. I mean there is emotional pain, however, we are only discussing the physical ailments of the body Eden.” Eden merowed and patted his jawline with her paw. In the distance Donovan saw what looked to be a man, however, there were different species now, at this school and what looked to be a man at first, had a great set of grey, black, and white bat - like wings that form from his heavily scaled back. The scales matched his wings in color and spread from his back up his neck and down the back of his arms and legs. His skin is nearly white in color and his eyes are a bright blue. He is quite tall, his muscular form reaching the height of 6'4". Amid his long hair, an unusual black with white roots, are a pair of horns twisting slightly toward the back of his head.

Donovan stopped when Eden fluffed up and kept her steely golden eyes on the man. Donovan looked at Eden and then back at the man.

“What do you suppose of this Eden?”

“Mew, Merew.”

Donovan hummed in thought, as he scratched behind Eden’s ears, affectively calming her as he would continue to walk closer.

“Lovely day to be sitting in the shade.” Donovan stated as he sat across from the man leaning up against another tree as Eden sat in his lap curled up and still intently gazing.

"My name is Vivian, I'm a Shapeshifter, what can you do?" Se said with a soft smile trying to aid the conversation, he seemed extremely reserved and timid. So shy it seemed almost forced, but Vivian just write it off as overwhelming anxiety- there weren't any guys around at the moment, just girls. Maybe that was why he was so shy.

Vivian heard Selene's sigh, she felt pretty awkward but didn't say anything else to the waiter. She'd just eat in a more civil manner than normal in order to avoid any more sighs.

He barely touched the screen, she touched his shoulder “Don’t worry, I’ve broken the screen countless times its easily fixed” She said with a reassuring smile. “But other than that, you’ve got a handle on how to work the phone” she said. A broken screen didn’t matter much when it came to using the phone it was only a physical thing, where as if he had broken the actual circuitry inside the phone that was a whole other problem. That she couldn’t fix, she would have to get a new phone completely. “The phone is still usable don’t worry about that” she said moving away from Jae, she had noticed a little too late that her hair was annoying him slightly. It would be a waste to simply read her first day of work away! Placing the book on her bed she decided to go out and possibly make friends and meet random people. When she was out of her door though she realized she doesnt know where to go. She already went to the library and so far no one has gotten interested enough to talk to her. With a shrug she decided to simply go exploring the campus, if she remembered correctly there was a greenhouse. THAT would be a nice place to test out a few experiments on plants! Going back inside her room she grabbed the medical supplies (in a handbag) and eagerly walked to her destination.

As soon as she heard the telltale holler of the weirdo history teacher, Fukurou jumped off of the ground and floated into the air, lounging upside down just out of Faust 's reach.
"You'll kill me to death?" She asked, the blonde hair of her assumed form swaying below heras she swung her head back and forth in a taunting manner. "Implying that there is a way to kill me to life?" She laughed, a noise that sounded like a strange musical mix of jingling bells and an owl calling out in the night.
"You want your Pielacefairy back?" She asked, throwing it above her and catching it with her feet with surprising reflexes and agility.
"Oh, you don't want me to bring this to Mae?" She pursed her lips as though contemplating it though if one could see past her sunglasses, they would notice a twinkle in her eyes.
"And what will you do for me in return of giving it back?"
