  • I've been online roleplaying for 15 years!
  Aside from roleplaying, I also have the cliche and boring hobby of traditional video games. There are many I enjoy purely for the gameplay but the ones I enjoy for their story-heavy experience and inspired my muse include Ace Attorney, Persona 1 & 2, VA-11 HALL-A, and Gensou Suikoden. My favorite animated shows that also inspire my muse include .hack//sign, Daria, Link Click, and Cardcaptor Sakura. I understand this part might come off as irrelevant but I wanted to share some of my writing tastes and possibly some common interests for us to get along OOC!
  
  If you want to get an idea if my writing is quality enough for your tastes, here is a sample from the last RP I've done. Mind the lack of context... !

  Mari's eyes lit up in affection upon seeing that all of the most cherished men in his life have all come to join him on his excursion to the beach. Malenpo's lecturing never bothered Mari and today was not an exception, he knew it was Malenpo's own way of showing he cares about him. He still found it hard to believe he had the privilege of being surrounded by five amazing guys, who are all lovely in their own way in both the inside and outside, and all of them were devoted to making sure he was happy and healthy. It was almost like a dream come true, if it was he didn't want to wake up from it.
  
  "Don't worry about me Malenpo! I just brought these candies for Palomillo." Malenpo turned to face the man who was, quite literally, dead inside. Palomillo was looking as aloof as ever, giving everyone a side profile as if he didn't acknowledge Mari's thoughtfulness. "I was just thinking about how he's always eating those types of candies." Mari's kindness was endearing but Malenpo sighed and readjusted his glasses, since as far as he is aware Palomillo wasn't eating those lollipops for their texture or flavor.
  
  "Mari.. it's a very thoughtful gesture but are you not aware what Palomillo was eating were vitamin supplements?"
  
  "Oh, I know that!" Mari smiled, not feeling a bit offended. "But he also told me he's got a taste for hard candy now." Palomillo was relived he's just a reanimated cheaply-fixed up corpse right about now as otherwise he might be blushing. Mari ran up to Paguroy, who lifted his gaze from the sand to the man who provided his only sanctuary (aside from his computer), even if his cloud of hair prevented them from making direct eye contact.
  
  "I'm so happy you're healthy today! It just wouldn't be the same without you around Paguroy."
  
  "I'm...happy to see you too, Mari." Paguroy faintly smiled, bathing in the feeling of appreciation for his existence. Likewise, Paguroy felt very much privileged there was someone out there who liked him, let alone noticed his presence.
  
  "Hey Appis...!" Palomillo called out, just loud enough for everyone else on the beach to hear. If Appis knew any better, Palomillo was purposefully drawing the attention of everyone to the fact he was sulking in jealousy and the sand over there. "You might want act alive cause I'm pretty sure that's Destiny over there, and we told her there's only one dead guy here."
  
  Palomillo was right, Mari and his pack of devoted guardians could all see the figure of their newest member of this little party they have going on here in the distance. There was a slight anxiety among the group, between making a good impression for their new co-worker, what kind of person she will be like in person, and even uneasiness of how she'll react to her first physical exposure of Mari's chaotic Butterfly Effect ability. Aside from that, there was also Appis thinking aloud that she's "as big as Kien.." and Paguroy subtly scooting over to hide behind Kien, not ready to be perceived by a new person just yet. None of that was felt by Mari himself, he was willing to see their guest of honor as a new friend right away, assuming her of to be good faith.
  
  "Welcome Mx. Pole, it is an honor for us to finally meet in person." Malenpo greeted, putting on a courteous smile. "We look forward to working with you in the future-"
  
  "Hi~!" Mari eagerly ran up to Destiny, absolutely impatient to get to know each other now. "I'm Mari, it's nice to meet you. I look forward to being friends with you!" His eyes sparkled in genuine enthusiasm, it only made him look all the more adorable. It was a gaze that Appis wished Mari looked at him with. "Do you like candy? I have all sorts of different kinds here..." Mari offered his sack of candy to his new friend. "I even brought some popsicles with me. They should be in the basket.." Malenpo looked at the sugary sweet boy incredulously, he absolutely did not mention he had more treats than Palomillo's preferred kind earlier.

  • I only RP with people 21+ years old.
  • I am not looking for my partner to reply with equal length but with equal substance! I I see no point in equal length replies if most of the reply is padding or filler. As long as you meaningfully address everything I've provided and put an equal amount of thought and effort, I'll be content with that.
  • I'm fine with having to provide Face Claims. By default I most likely will not use them but if others want them in our RPs, I'm happy to make one in a character creation game. However, I do not tolerate fanart reposted without permission or AI generated images as face claims. I will immediately lose interest in interacting with anyone that does that.
  • I am low commitment friendly! I won't check in or ask for replies, you can reply to my RPs whenever it is that you feel like it. If we do get to talk OOC, feel free to chat with me whenever you want! I won't judge you on how long it is you are taking to reply. For others though, I am willing to negotiate with having to write out at least one reply out per week. This doesn't necessarily mean I'll only reply to RPs once a week, this just the max deadline I'm willing to tolerate before it feels too pressuring.
  • I am low judgement and I embrace the fact that we are writing a purely hypothetical scenario. I'm a very lenient person about what can be explored in the realm of fiction and fantasy. I also prefer my partner to embrace the hypothetical scenario aspect of writing a fictional story together (I'll be uninterested if the other party treats the RP as a substitute for a real life relationship). However, please check with me if you want to write any sensitive themes in our RPs instead of just surprising me with them. I have no triggers but I still have squicks so feel free to discuss anything with me OOC.
  • I'm not inherently against the idea of doubling up (I will most likely only have muse for M x M though) but I won't be interested if it feels purely transactional. If there's genuine interest on both sides to write all the relationships in an RP then I'm down for it. The easiest way to talk me into it is if both relationships are part of the same world, with both expanding on the lore and having continuity with each other.

  I have a huge interest in writing about relationships between two people in very different places in life. Or just any two kinds of people who are different enough that there are some profound, serious themes that can be explored throughout their interactions as a couple. As a warning, some of these will be morally dubious relationships. They will at least, all be between consenting unrelated adults. I'm not exactly interested in writing an after school PSA, I want to run a controlled experiment!
  
  Here are some plots I've been craving for recently. In all these plots, the relationship is pre-established. I'm interested in writing about their day-to-day life as a couple, not how they came to be. Italicized underlines mark the character I would prefer to write in the plot but I am fine writing the other character in the RP too if asked. Note that these are all templates and I'd be happy to let you mold the characters in these plots to whatever name, personality, and backstory you'd like! I'd love for us to build the OCs in the RP together before we start!
  
  
  • Misanthropic Working Adult in his 30's x Optimistic Romantic College Student in his 20's. (I currently have the most muse for this)
  Once upon a time, there was an office worker who absolutely hated his life and looks at the world through the most bleak lens possible yet keeps up that faux professional, friendly facade for his daily life. Then came a sunny college student who behaved as he still believes in fairy tales into his life, one whose adorableness rivaled that of the men in those adult videos the office worker enjoyed watching after coming home from work. This younger man developed what seemed to be a shallow crush on the older man, fantasizing about making him a happier person. The misanthropic man, deciding this was the only way his pathetic self was ever going to get a cute boyfriend, allows this college guy to be his boyfriend.
  
  
  • Human x His Digitized Boyfriend. (I have no preference for this one)
  Once upon a time there once was an average guy with a boyfriend he loves very much. Then the most horrifying and gruesome thing happened: His boyfriend died in an accident. Refusing to accept his death, he locked in and.. somehow managed to convert his dead boyfriend into a sentient AI who lives on his phone? When your boyfriend has become your personal Siri, life is sure to never get boring.
  
  
  • High School Teacher x His 21 Year Old Held Back Delinquent Student.
  (This one is NOT a pre-established relationship, their relationship can end with however we think is most interesting)
  
  It was time for this teacher to work in a brand new school and this might be his most difficult year yet. He's got a student who should have graduated years ago and acts as if he's got no future to worry about at all. The worst part of all, this student seems to forget that just because he's 21, that doesn't mean he's not a student, and that this is his teacher that he is openly flirting with.
  
  • Member of Society x "Adult Child".
  No one can comprehend why. Why a man who was an over-achiever in school and landed a career he can take pride in, had chosen a man who has done nothing with his life after high school besides spend all day doing whatever he feels like in his parents' home, as his boyfriend. Was it carried by a strong childhood bond? There's a genuine love but it's so difficult to explain to everyone else who just sees him as a lost cause. (Note: I will code the "Adult Child" character as being neurodivergent).

  • "Bad Boy" x Someone no one tried to understand.
  (I've been interested in the vague idea of someone who is a total rule breaking delinquent in a relationship with a neurodivergent-coded person who most people lacked the patience to understand. I've been thinking of writing a nonverbal character if I write the someone no one tried to understand)
  
  
  • Rebel x Conflict-avoidant, timid, gentle person.
  (The only one I primarily imagine in a non-realistic, non-urban setting. I'm imagining a relationship between a rebel wanted by an oppressive government and someone who is afraid of fighting.)
  
  If you have any other dynamic ideas that might seem to be my tastes, feel free to suggest any! I'm willing to take any fantasy or supernatural themes so long but I will primarily feel more comfortable in an urban, modern setting!
