Basically, any character that has a significant purpose in the world should have a reason to be here like why is Knuckles not on Angle Island. Doesn't have to be anything too complicated tho I want to keep this RP friendly for people to do whatever they may want within reason.

Backstory or basic bio: As Sonic the hedgehog acted as a beacon of hope against the might of Robotnik, there many who waged their own war against the menace from the shadows. Whisper was but one of them. She along with four others banded together to create the Diamond Cutters, and Anti-Robotnik mercenary team which sought to dismantle the Robotnik empire piece by piece. They took on the missions that most would fear to ever touch due to the danger and yet the Diamond Cutter would quietly and efficiently complete them and move on to the next one without a moment to lose. The job was tough with too many close calls to count but luckily they had little friends on their side that made it all just the slightest bit easier. All in all, The Diamond Cutters we’re the closest thing Whisper had to a real family. And yet, she never would have guessed a rat in the group would take it all away from her.

It’d been like any other mission. Sneak in, attack, and leave. Mimic, the team’s infiltrator, had been the one to suggest it which back then didn’t raise any sort of concern. However Clair, the team’s psychic, sensed something was off. During the mission she’d order Whisper to stand back as lookout, to which the wolf would comply. As Whisper waited for her teammates to return, she’d finally realized what had been so off about the mission. Mimic had informed Eggman of the mission and together, had set a trap to roboticize all of the members of the Diamond Cutters. However, there was one member left to deal with. Mimic had donned the guise of the team’s slinger in order to trick Whisper but he found that the wolf was nowhere to be seen. Under the threat of Eggman, Mimic simply took her abandoned weapon as “proof” of him finishing the job. In reality Whisper had simply been hiding from him, silently watching as the man unknowingly revealed his true intentions to her.

Devastated, Whisper went back into the base to try and find her roboticized teammates but the only thing she found were all of their wisps, surprisingly still alive. It wouldn’t be until she rewound the recorded playback in her teammates’ masks that she’d realized what had actually gone down inside. Clair, Smithy, and Slinger in one final act of defiance against the Robotnik empire did the only thing they could’ve done before being losing all their free will. They hid their wisps and destroyed as many badniks as they could and…that included themselves.

On that day Whisper learned to never get close to anyone lest she lose them too.

She’d continue to fight against Robotnik from the shadows but now only with her wisps and Smithy’s prototype Variable Wispon by her side. She’d eventually gain a reputation her ability to turn the tide of battles and saving many lives in the process. Whisper even started to get called “ The Guardian Angel of the Battlefield” by those she saved. With such a title it’d be no wonder that the Freedom Fighters would want her to officially join the ranks.

• Despite the Variable Wispon’s difference in appearance compared to canon, it still operates relatively the same. However due to the more taxing circumstances of Eggman’s rule and the rarity of knowledge concerning Wisps, Smithy had less to go off of when designing the weapon. This resulted in a more primitive weapon that can sometimes malfunction entirely if she isn’t too careful with it.
• Her mask isn’t only just to record and act as a scope. It also provides the useful purpose of tricking the less advanced badniks into thinking she’s simply a roboticized minion. However the more intelligent the AI is, the more likely they will be able to see through the ruse. Smithy had also been working on installing a translator but was completely stumped when it came to trying decipher the Wisp language.
• If someone does role play as Shadow I’d like to discuss the possibility of somehow integrating him into Whisper’s Bio. Gotta add in that Shadow trauma somehow amirite.
• On that note in the very very rare case anyone decided to play as a certain lemur, I’d love to have the two eventually get together if that’d be alright (I’m a filthy Whispangle shipper sue me)

Name: Miles "Tails" Prower

Appearance:
Backstory or basic bio: Miles is an orphaned Fox from West Side Island, one who lost said family quite early in his life. This left him all alone since the genetic abnormality (twin tails) he'd been born with made him an outcast among the superstitious islanders. Being bullied and alone drove him into a shy and unconfident shell until one day a speedy, blue hedgehog arrived on the island. So fast, so different from the islanders that Miles was used to that it sparked his curiosity and awe.

Although that made him follow Sonic, he'd always dart back into hiding if it seemed like the other had taken notice of him. There were a couple of times the two almost met, but Miles kept himself too distant for official introductions until Robotnik attacked the island. Sonic gave him his nickname and treated him like he wasn't a freak, like having tails that let him fly was actually something amazing. Both facts would cement his loyalty to Sonic.

He stuck with Sonic through their West Side Island and Angel Island adventures and began showing some more confidence. At least enough that he'd expand his attention beyond merely upkeeping the Tornado, as in he began working on other inventions as well.

That is until Sonic went MIA. Tails didn't...no...couldn't believe it right away. Deep down he knew that Sonic, if he could, would've been facing Robotnik already before the man had gotten so far. He was forced to accept the fact that something must've happened to Sonic.

Without Sonic around, and with Robotnik advancing, Tails didn't have the resources or time to work on his partly completed projects. He took what could with him when fleeing the Mystic Ruins. One invention-to-be that he took was the partly-completed Miles Electric, in hopes the number of functions it'd have once finished might lead him to Sonic. If he found somewhere he could safely finish it in between looking for the materials for it. Luckily Knothole Village was around.

-Tails didn't get the chance to be fully drawn out of his shyness and lack of confidence before Sonic's disappearance. As such, he's more like his earlier classic version than current modern Tails...including making use of more of his physical abilities. (can fly with his tails, keep up with Sonic (when Sonic was around), etc.) And less of the inventions since he'd just begun fiddling with those ideas before Sonic went MIA. Those inventions do exist enough to hint to the Freedom Fighters just how intelligent he might be.​

-Despite the bleak situation Mobius is in Tails still fully believes Sonic is around...somewhere. He has faith that if Sonic was truly gone, it would happen in a way everyone would've known about and not just him being MIA.​

Backstory or basic bio: Amy Rose was an avid Tarot card reader and one day as she read out her fortune Amy discovered that she’d be destined to meet Sonic the Hedgehog on Little Planet, a small planetoid that appeared over Never Lake for a month once every year. With her destiny in sight Amy set out for Little Planet and soon found herself in Collison Chaos Zone facing Sonic face to face. However moments after she’d be kidnapped by Metal Sonic, leading Sonic to have no choice but to save her from the robotic menace. She’d finally be freed at Stardust Speedway when Metal Sonic challenged the original to a race for her freedom. Of course Sonic would win and Amy was thus quickly freed.

This would be the origin for Amy’s crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. From then on she’d try to tag along with him whenever she could, whether it be through cart racing or ducking it out. It’d be during the latter scenario when Amy first began using her iconic Piko Piko hammer, a tool though as cute as a button, also held dangerous power when in the right hands. Despite the many times Amy tried to tag along, she often just wasn’t fast enough to catch up with the blue blur. Still, Amy hoped that one day she’d be able to be right beside Sonic.

That dream would quickly have to be put on hold after she heard the devastating news of Sonic’s disappearance. Sonic could just have vanished out of nowhere…she couldn’t believe it. No, she refused to believe it! Whatever had happened to the hedgehog, Amy knew she couldn’t just stand by and do nothing. Sonic and saved her once before and by golly was she going to return the favor. With new determination Amy set out for Knothole village, one of the few places left untouched by Robotnik’s wrath. Maybe there she’d be able to start the search for the MIA hedgehog.

Amy’s Abilities:

• Piko Piko hammer:Amy’s iconic weapon. Anyone who comes into contact with this toy like hammer will surely have a bad time. The question is, where does she store that thing? The world may never know.

• Strength: Don’t take her cuteness for granted as in order to carry around such an unwieldy weapon Amy has to be much stronger than the average mobian.
• Spin attack: Like any hedgehog Amy can curl herself up into a spiky ball of pain. Better watch out for those quills!
• Baking: if the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach then Amy’s the best heart surgeon out there!
• Drawing: On the side Amy enjoys making comics of all of her friends’ adventures.
• Breeze the car: Amy’s sentient car. Breeze is a rather kind and gentle figure who’ll do anything to help his friend.

• Fortune telling: She’s an avid tarot card user and quite skilled at it. In fact she’d been able to track down Sonic’s location multiple times. However it seems that the cards can’t tell her anything about where sonic currently is.
• Hyper mode: A much weaker super form she initially used during the events of Sonic the fighters after coming into contact with all seven chaos emeralds. in this state her attack speed is heightened at the cost of some of her defense

Backstory or basic bio: A lemur and beetle, 2 residents of Spiral Hill Village, met while quite young and grew up as friends despite their differences in personality. Tangle would rush into danger at the slightest hint that there was something she could rush into, while Jewel took a calmer approach in watching over her younger, more enthusiastic friend. Time passed without tempering Tangle's energetic, extroverted nature. Even though Spiral Hill Village was a little out of the way of what'd so far been the normal areas where Dr. Robotnik and Sonic had clashed, they were still hearing heard about the blue blur.

Just snippets that'd encourage the bouncy lemur further, all while Jewel was still on her own calmer path of curating at the Mineral Museum.

Tangle didn't seem to even miss a beat in that routine when word reached the Village about Sonic's disappearance, and that Dr. Robotnik's conquest was approaching them. She went straight into action, standing against the initial Badniks that entered Spiral Hill to buy the residents more time to hide, or evacuate. Some help with the evacuation arrived during Tangle's battle. The extra targets at least divided the Badniks' attention enough that the lemur also got the chance to get clear as well. A few glancing hits had landed on her but nothing serious enough that it'd keep her from pretty much inviting herself into the band of Freedom Fighters...once she'd officially met them. She didn't give them a chance to say anything before she'd already invited herself.

• Her tail is prehensile and stretchy, as well as fairly strong, making it so she can manipulate things around her. Whip, snap, grip, curl and make a fist... She is a living embodiment of what it would be like to have an extra hand.
• Her tail is also one of her weaknesses since she's so busy using it against enemies, that it'll be the easiest part of her that they could get hold of.
• Claustrophobia, like any phobia, is no fun and Tangle knows this one firsthand.

Backstory or basic bio:


Sapphire is the daughter of the dragon counterparts of Sonic's parents, her mother being a purple dragon named Amethyst and the counterpart of Queen Aleena, while her father was Jules' counterpart, a blue dragon named Jarsha.

As dragons remained in the lesser populated part of Mobius, Sapphire was raised not knowing too many outside her kind. When she was old enough to fly, she went to flight training. However, there was a storm that hit suddenly, seperating her from the other flight trainees, and the flight mentors. She ended up outside of Tails' lab, with a broken wing from a rough landing. Tails and Sonic helped the young dragon get to the point where she could fly back to the dragons' lands, but she insisted on helping Sonic, Tails and the other in their quest to end Robotnik.

Backstory or basic bio:
The first and quite possibly the last of his model to be created, Osiron was created as an prototype Advanced Badnik model that was fully capable of running after an entire base and its many functions without the need for Ivo to occasionally check in on the base. A model that was meant to be able to come up with logical solutions to problems and fully man security systems and guide other badniks to battle when the need arises, but not only that, the Overseer model was also meant to be a devastating combatant in battle, combining its intelligence processing software with the strength and versatility of the E-series, but still capable of following commands and utterly loyal to its creator.

Osiron was created within Egg Base Pi, an underground base of operations for Robotnik’s that functioned as an underground testing facility for designing new types of badniks, with the base planned to become a full on factory to mass produce said badniks in order to supply new soldiers to Robotnik’s armies. Osiron was tasked of overseeing the entire facility, his ‘test’ regarding him overseeing the entire factory for what was meant to be a couple of months, with the end goal of seeing whether or not it was fully capable of making sure the ‘factory’ continued to be ran at full efficiency without the presence of Robotnik’s or needing any biological (and potentially disloyal) Overseer. And Osiron complied with the order, looking after Egg Base Pi for many months, aiding in the making of new Badniks, testing their weaponry and processing, throwing out rejects and noting down success, Osiron did perfectly of what was tasked of him.

And after the couple months were over, Osiron had begun to wait for the return of Robotnik’s to announce his successful ‘mission’… and he waited… and he waited some more. What turned from days after the intended time had become weeks, then months, and before he knew it, years went by without a single word or even the sight of Dr. Ivo within the camera systems of the base. Within the time he had waited, Osiron began to get… ‘bored’, a feeling unnatural to him. And so, had begun doing other things to pass the time, ranging from playing ‘catch’ with the other Badniks all the way to making his own puzzles to solve.

Even after all of that, Osiron began to feel something else… what if the real goal of the mission was to wait longer as to prove his loyalty and task as a Overseer. Or perhaps Ivo has been watching over him this entire time, and was waiting for him to make the action of supplying him with badniks. Eventually, his boredom turned into restlessness and eventually ‘fear’. What if he was abandoned after all this time? What if Eggman had already found a replacement to him and hadn’t bothered asking? What if… he had no purpose anymore. These thoughts troubled the robot who became more and more aware of his own situation, thinking more and more about his next set of actions. Before eventually… he had decided to leave the base, arriving to the outside world, which was unfamiliar to him after being underground so long. And so, he began to wander… moving from location to location, and slowly picking up pieces of what truly happened outside. Eventually, he came to the realization that Ivo had forgotten all about him and the base, having almost taken over the entire world recently from the time that Osiron left the base, leaving him and the base to rust with time. That angered the robot, all this time spent following an order to someone who outright forgotten all about him. And he wanted revenge.

With his mind made up on the matter, Osiron set off to wander again, seeking others that could aid him in bringing down Robotnik and finally get his revenge after being abandoned for so many years. Eventually, he came across Knothole village, and after having to go through a ‘annoying’ (to his eyes) procedure of proving he isn’t there to destroy the village and removing Robotnik’s symbols on his shoulders, Osiron had finally joined the Freedom Fighters, seeking to aid them in their goals of fighting back against the tyrant and ending his rule of evil.

Abilities:
-Enhanced Physical capabilities:
Osiron was a Badnik meant for combat, and he knows how to show it. With having superior strength, speed, and endurance than even the E-Series models of Badniks (more advanced models of Elite Badniks however, are certainly stronger physical wise than Osiron), Osiron certainly would pose far more of a threat than the standard Badnik. Although his robotic body gives him plenty of strength, there are also new weaknesses to account for such as more vulnerability to electricity and having key components that are essential to his functioning.

-Weaponry Arsenal:
Osiron has a series of weapons and tools implanted into his body, such as flamethrowers, energy firing guns, and even buzzsaws implanted into his arms, and he has a mini swarm rocket pod system within his lower back that allows him to fire a series of small missiles at opponents. Osiron can also fire out his hands like a grapple hook, being connected by a line of electricity which allows him to also shock opponents with his hands as well.

-Limited thruster systems:
Located entirely on his upper back and legs, it allows him to temporarily hover in the air, although with his weight, he wouldn’t be flying for too long.

-Tactical thinking:
Osiron was meant to lead other Badniks into battle, but now, he’ll put that processing software to aiding his allies. Ranging from making battle plans on the fly after witnessing things in battle all the way to coordinating team attacks to others, Osiron will make sure to get his allies through dangerous situations with little harm done to them.

-Temporary weapon assimilation:
Osiron can temporarily take the weapons (or even limb like weapons) of other badniks, and by connecting some wires within his arms to said weapon, use the newly acquired weapon as his own. Can only use one at a time however, but it’s good when in a pinch.​

Zone of Origin: Knothole at present, originally Acorn Kingdom

Backstory or basic bio:​

She is a mobian squirrel-chipmunk, the younger daughter of the former king Maximillian Acorn and former queen Alicia Acorn, and younger sister to the current king, Elias Acorn. Sally is also known as the leader of the Freedom Fighters. She was sent to the sanctuary of Knothole Village by her father when the Great War was going badly for the Mobians, and led the Knothole Freedom Fighters on many field missions against Dr. Ivo Robotnik when he took power shortly after the Great War's end.

After King Acorn healed and resumed his role as king, Sally once again led the Knothole Freedom Fighters for a time, until the group was disbanded. For months her ability to work with the Freedom Fighters was limited, as her royal obligations kept her occupied. This continued for over a year, until Elias took the throne in place of King Acorn.

Backstory or basic bio: Acheron's past is unknown. However, he gained some very... intriguing gifts upon arrival to Mobius. He crashed into an Ancient Echidnan laboratory several years ago intended to copy the capabilities of the Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds, the entity known as Chaos.

What is known as that they successfully created duplicates of Chaos by using fragments of the ancient Guardian himself. However, they became Elemental Chaos, each capable of controlling a single Element. Acheron himself merged with three of the clones... as well as the original Chaos. Those he merged with were Nivis, Ignis, and Obex.

after a failed battle , he left the rebelion to fight on his own taking on small squads of eggman's robots and trying to free as much animals as he can.

this ability is great but it comes with its negatives , it makes him too energised and most times unable to sleep , when the energy runs out he's left tired making him cranky , over use of his ability can leave him damaged or even paralised.​

Backstory or basic bio: a Tyrannical and Cruel entity which has taken the form of our beloved Hedgehog, EXE, alongside his slaves inhabited the “Hill”, a Green Hills corrupted by EXE himself in his own world. Eventually getting “bored”, EXE orders his minions to watch over his world as he goes to the real world. Creating a red ring portal, he enters, but something happened. Rather than getting to the real world, the portal becomes unstable somehow, throwing EXE into here.

While it is unknown where it will appear, EXE might achieve his Xenophane form through some means. It could either work as the equivalent of a Super form, or a permanent form.
