Biography:

Lily was always bullied for not having any magic. From the day where someone noted her weakness, she would hear it daily. But worst of all, she would hear it from her family. Day in, day out. „Little weak Lily, can't do anything on her own!“ She endured years of this torment, years of hate building up inside of her. Until one day she stumbled upon something, given to her by a stranger. A name.

KHAOUL

From that day on she knew what she had to do. Become stronger. Overcome her born weakness and show everyone what she is capable of. Even if that meant...no, that can't be it. Right? I mean that is just wrong. But they hate her so much. And her hate is so bright. No, you can't just...right?

Slowly, a little voice became louder in the head of sweet little Lily. A dark voice, fueled by her hatred. Her own voice. And so she made a deal.

The next day, the neighbors found a burned down house next to them. Every member died by a stab wound through the heart before the fire was laid. The only corpse nowhere to be found: Lily

After sacrificing her family to the demon, her dagger was upgraded to a sacrificial one.

She traveled around, killing people in secret and slowly being granted magic in return.

In the night that is now known as „The Calling“, she had a dream. A dream of someone else like her, a dream of another woman, sharing her experience and passion. And a location.

In this location, a small abandoned shrine, the two of them met. They both declared their loyalty to Khaoul and proclaimed their shared dream. Once they realized that they have been called together for a greater purpose, they made a pact.

„Upon this altar our blood flows together

We shall now be known as
The Sisters of Blood“

Now they travel together under the disguise of traveling merchants. Visiting small towns and leaving in the night, sometimes leaving with additional people. They are a small but steadily growing cult, roaming in the hearts kingdom.

Abilities:

A flowery dream


Psychic curse magic, it changes the perception that individuals have to one dictated by Mortis. This effect is usually very weak and only changes small things, but becomes increasingly more potent over long periods of time. If applied for long enough, the change will be permanent.
Single target, stays after casting without further channeling.

Psychic curse removal, subspell


Nightmarish awakening

Blood manipulation magic, allowing Mortis to control any body of blood. Living things or blood affected by someones mana work too, as long as she injects mana directly into it, transported by a physical medium. If the spell is strong enough, she can „puppet“ someone for a limited amount of time.

Crimson blade
Subspell, Mortis transforms blood into sharp weapons for as long as the spell is active.


Eternal slumber

Contractional Sacrifice Magic, results highly variable. Dependant on the chants, sacrifices and the demon in question. Very likely to fail if not used correctly.

Agnes, Sister of Blood:

As they have founded the cult and are leading it together, the two are very close. More often than not do they have long talks and worship sessions in private, lasting up to several hours.


Throm Iglis, the Right Hand:

As he is the only disciple of one of their strongest cultist, Mortis has a lot of faith in him. She is sure enough about his devotion that she has never used her magic on him and often sends Throm on scouting missions alone.


Skrolk, high priest of flesh:

Although she pities the hideousness of him, Mortis doesn't see him as a tool to be used. As a powerful member, she respects him and his antics, even if other cultists sometimes label them as...heretical.


Kaiden:

Kaiden and Mortis became uneasy friends during Kaidens travels, where they met each other in her hometown. Kaiden told stories about his adventures and Mortis found some relief in her frustrating everyday cycle. But when Kaiden left for a few months, she still fell into despair and eventually, worship. Although Kaiden was understandably weirded out by the sudden change of heart, he still helped the young cult as the first scout they had.

Personality:
Art gives the impression that his general demeanor is cheerful, eccentric and sarcastic. Despite the surface impression, however, he is generally unassuming and is fairly self-deprecating. He has also confessed to being envious of other people. Nevertheless, he accepts these qualities to be repellent to other people, thus he has gained a love for humour and smiling, and acts in a spontaneous manner. He likely believes he can not maintain friendships otherwise. Art is very careful with his application of jokes for he believes that they must be improvised, or else they are just common lies, moreover he fully understands how they can cause misunderstandings. Art’s mood is generally well kept, except when he feels his time has been wasted; then he becomes somewhat depressed and irascible. Contrary to his personality, he distances himself when people start getting too close, as he is obsessed with not becoming obsessed with anything.

When Art looks at a contract, he spends a good amount of time analyzing it and seeing how achievable it is. Sadistic in nature, Art spends a lot of his time playing with his targets and any person who is unfortunate enough to encounter him while on the hunt. But when it comes to death, Art takes no pleasure in robbing life, he sees his playing with victims as a way of prolonging their life, to let them reflect and see where they went wrong. It’s a sick way of killing but Art sees it as a necessary factor. When Art accepts a contract, he will finish it no matter the consequence; no matter the dangers; no matter the effect.

Biography:
Born to a family of nobility, Art was held to high standards and throughout his childhood, he despised his family greatly. Thrown into an academy to train nobles to take the throne of their respective kingdom, Art didn’t care much for it but when that was over and done with, Art just kinda knew about how to be a royal and had also learned sound magic, at some point.

One night however, there was a disturbance in the household, hearing a scuffle in the master bedroom, Art didn’t think much of it but figured something was up and decided to investigate it. Reaching the door, upon opening it, he found his father dead and a shadowy man standing over him. Instincts kicked in, Art didn’t care that his father died, all he prioritized was protecting himself. Even though any attack was ineffective, Art kept going and eventually, the man spoke up. His gravelly voice still gives Art the shivers to this day. The man complimented Art and asked him whether or not he cared if his father was dead. Art, exhausted replied with an honest no, and at that moment, the man took Art under his wing.

On a stern schedule and with the fear of being killed by the man’s comrades, Art was trained to be a successor of sorts to the man when the time came. Learning new magic and skills, Art became a mini assassin. Finally joining the Assassin’s Guild in the middle of his teenage years, Art wasn’t allowed to take contracts until he was 18, which sucked but it just gave him more time to train.

By the time he was 18, he took his first contract, and at that moment, he became an official member of the assassin’s guild.

Abilities:
Sound Travel/Perception
Art is able to perceive sound, which allows him to travel in distributed frequencies. Although he sometimes requires a spectrum of sound to balance him out, he is still able to use his magic. When Art snaps his fingers, the snap creates a pitch frequency that travels in circular soundwaves in which Art can see and travel through. Therefore, Art can move at the speed of sound by using sound as a medium to transport his body. It should be noted that when Art snaps, he can only travel as far as the sound of his snap can be heard; therefore, every time he gets to the end of the soundwave he must snap again to utilize his ability.

Sonic Speed fucking Fighting
Art is also able to produce sonic punches and kicks that also travels at the speed of sound in which it makes him stronger. He is immune to the air friction and the strain it puts on his body through his attacks.

Memory Manipulation
Art is able to manipulate memories to the fullest extent. Art can create artificial memories, remove memories, observe, and even steal memories. Although Art can steal memories, it depends on how complex the memory is and how efficiently he’s trying to obtain it. This also depends on whether or not its a surface memory or a ‘deep’ memory, or both. The process of creating, removing, and stealing can take upwards of an hour depending on the factors above. Because of this ability, Art has a collection of knowledge stolen from his targets and random people he’s found interesting.
Sub-Spells
Memory Invasion

By linking with a unconscious person, Art is able to transfer part of his subconscious into the person and explore their memories in a dream-like state. Art, in this state, is unable to move his body and is put into an almost catatonic state. Art while exploring people’s memory’s, can interact with them and change, remove, or even steal them. This way of manipulating memories is more effective and efficient compared to normally.
Memory Constructs
By using his mind, Art is capable of producing constructs made purely of his memory magic and from his memories themselves. These constructs can change shape at Art’s will.
Memory Overload
By focusing on an unpleasant memory of his opponent or really anybody, Art is able to move that memory to the person’s surface level and increase the intensity and emotions the memory causes.

Enhanced Learning
Art is able to learn things at a faster rate than normal people are able to. It’s never been compared how fast he can learn but he’s beat other students in their academic studies more often than it’s worth noting.

Gear:
The Swamp’s Grimoire
A small book Art obtained during his travels, said to be able to contain anything. It’s said to have limitless space, Art hasn’t nearly had the time to test that out but he’s pretty sure it is limitless with how much he’s stored in there. At any moment, he can open the book and absorb something into it’s pages or release something from it. The book itself is mostly blank, except with the first three pages which contain poems.
Art also brings anything he’d need for a contract, so what he keeps on hand varies from time to time.

Personality:
Agnes is a person whose character is difficult to read. She possesses a dislike of humanity that borders on mistrust, which is something that she shares with most of the other people in her group. She is a skilled actress as she is capable of putting on the facade of an innocent, curious, polite, and young girl when she needs to. However, under that mask lies a mad woman, prone to fits of insane laughter and possessing no regard for human life, viewing them as a food source to restore her own body, and thus, a disposable commodity.

There is a twisted justice behind her methods, however, as the people that she targets are would-be. In hindsight, Agnes possesses some degree of innocence that her psychotic behavior has not entirely ruined; she has a soft spot for small animals and other creatures. She once slaughtered four humans not because she needed to replenish her time, but because they were trying to kill a harmless creature.

Biography:
Born into a vampiric family, Agnes lived a caution-filled life, constantly moving and traveling. She and her family never stayed in one place. However, upon reaching some arbitrary age, Agnes heard a voice so distinct, so clear, it was as if she was hearing someone speak directly into her ear. As time went on, this voice told her do things, kill people specifically. At this point, Agnes had become reliant and dependent on the voice, as it helped her get by and avoid the loneliness her travels gave her.

One night, her dream changed, visions of a woman having the same treatment from the voice Agnes had become so dependent on. Agnes met the woman at an abandoned shrine, there they prayed together and did demon things 😉 :lenny:.
They now travel together posing as merchants, visiting villages and doing demon things in them.

Abilities:
Vampire Racial Powers

Because she is a vampire, Agnes possesses some skills unique to her race. Vampires have an affinity for blood magic. They have, few hundred years of lifespan.
Sub-Spells
Biting Drugs

By biting anywhere on a living body, her fangs enter a toxin into their body, causing them to enter a minor euphoric state that dulls the senses and makes the individual more susceptible to suggestive commands from Agnes (if she bit them). Biting an artery of any kind increases the efficiency and duration of the effect.
Enhanced Regeneration
Because she is a vampire; enhanced regeneration.

Biomass Manipulation
Agnes has complete control over the biomass of her body and can freely alter and manipulate it allowing her able to grow additional appendages, regenerate wounds at accelerated speeds and even go as far as to completely reconstruct her being. This is fueled by the absorption of biomass (flesh, blood, etc) and prolonged usage requires active assimilation of biomass. This ability allows her to; completely disassemble her body into a mass of malleable "red matter", the red matter being invulnerable to conventional weaponry such as projectiles; to shapeshift into whatever creature she wants as long as she possesses the biomass for it; and regenerate wounds and limbs, remodel her physique and structure. She can only hold 10 people worth of biomass and must refill once expended.

Split (2016)

By splitting her own mass(gained and/or original), Agnes is capable of controlling that split part. She can manipulate it’s own body and control it and command it to a fine degree. By doing this, however, she gives the split part a piece of her mana but this also means her split mass can use some parts of her own magic depending on how much mana is put into it.

Devotion Sacrifice Magic
By sacrificing another person, Agnes is capable of applying many destructive applications to her magicks. Sacrifices can include; blood, flesh, soul, mind, or all at once. Applications for this does vary but it generally goes into destructive purposes as said before.

Gear:
Staff of Belial

A staff once belonging to a tribal king, it's head resembles a vertical eye with an unknown symbol in the pupil. The utmost end of the head have two sharp blades on the sides of the eye and a pointed bit at the top of the eye. This staff is enchanted with the ability to empower spells and magicks cast by its holder.​

» BIOGRAPHY;

Has a deep hatred for the system. Born as the eldest sibling to a family of slaves, Frey has lived his life working hard for his mother and siblings. He lived doing harsh work as a child until his early teenage years when he was seen with a potential for magic. Bought by a noble family and forcefully adopted him. They named him Wylfred Jhoust, worked him to the bone in practicing his magic to show to the people, egging him to improve his Blood magic. There were others like him like it was some sort of candidacy or competition.

But even Frey has his limits. He purposefully slacked in his training, not wanting to be a pawn to the Jhoust family’s game. The progress of his magic ability slowed down, leaving him as the only low rank. He was discarded as he was deemed useless. He searched for his mother but she has passed away, his siblings bought by other families scattered throughout the Suits.

He’d been very vocal about his hatred for the system, it was the reason why he lost his family after all. One day, he was surprised to find a note in his pocket to meet up. Frey isn’t afraid of doing anything to achieve the Joker's goal. He is willing to do risky jobs if it meant them trusting him more, any job that will contribute to becoming a step closer to the eradication of the System. Upon entering the Jokers did he learn Illusion Magic.

He’s planted into the Spades Kingdom to climb up its ranks and eradicate it from within.


» SKILLS & ABILITIES;

Magic/Phys - Average

Skill:
  • Acrobatics - Frey has always been naturally flexible and has a great sense of balance, as a kid, he'd always demonstrate such flexibility to entertain his younger siblings. Upon entering the Jokers, he has developed this skill to use during operations in case it comes in handy.
  • Hyperthymesia - Frey has an amazing capacity to recall events in his life in great detail, while it is great for information gathering it is also quite a curse to have as his head is filled with useless information such as the texture of the clothes people wear or the way people sneeze.
  • Melee Combat - Frey is quite handy with fighting with his bare hands, and with blades.
  • Marksmanship - while not really an expert, Frey is quite decent with a gun, he gets a three of five shots right. Which is also why he prefers to use the Sawed-Off Shotgun, as you don’t really need to aim it that well.
  • Acting - For one, as a child, he has always been interested in the art of acting, and second, Frey isn't someone that likes to display his true feelings to others, hence acting. He acts as need be from the situation. Does he have to pretend that he is a noble? So be it. Need someone to act in a stage act? He's your guy.

Abilities:
  • Blood Magic - With Blood Magic, he is able to amplify his strength with this magic as well as form shapes with the use of his own blood or others. Frey is able to make use of it in different ways: Blood Golems, creating forms with the use of blood which he can freely control, he mostly makes bird-like figures and uses it as a homing missile; Blood Gauntlets, coating his hands with blood into a gauntlet-like structure that lets him deal a more devastating blow than his usual punches, he can also create spikes with these; Blood Whip, ability to turn his own blood into a whip-like weapon with a small cut on his index finger; Partial Healing, the use of blood to repair damaged cells and stop it’s bleeding, it does not fully heal the wound but it works. In most cases, it leaves scars.
  • Hallucikinesis - Frey has the ability to create, shape, and manipulate illusions, causing those around him to see, hear, feel, smell, and taste things that do not actually exist. The things he can do with these are: Holographic Projection, an ability that lets him trick the sight of people with three-dimensional images and have no effect to the other senses or physical presence; After Image, Frey can create images of themselves by various ways, including moving at incredible speeds or through illusion to confuse his opponent/s; Glamour, can alter their appearance by the use of illusions, appearing as anything they want, includes change of voice, but knocking him unconscious will render the magic nullified; Illusion Creation, can create illusions that affect one, multiple or all of the senses or cast area-effect illusions that alter the appearance of their environment, either to hide things from view or add them. This also includes invisibility and he can also freely destroy these illusions.


» GEAR;

  • Dual Short Swords (Enchanted) - swords that are imbued with magic that makes it sharper and is able to collect blood from the flesh that is sliced. This is made to help Frey limit the use of his own blood, to keep him from becoming anemic.
  • Ithaca 37 (or Model 37) - from the Agrossians, is a pump-action shotgun that utilizes a novel combination ejection/loading port on the bottom of the gun which leaves the sides closed to the elements. Since shotshells load and eject from the bottom, operation of the gun is equally convenient for both right- and left-handed shooters. This makes the gun popular with left-handed shooters.
  • M1917 revolver - were six-shot, .45 ACP, large frame revolvers. They used moon-clips to hold the rimless cartridges in position and to aid in extraction. Always has another round of bullets with him.
  • Hand Grenades - handy when in need to cover a large area when fighting. He always has at least three hidden.
  • M18 Colored Smoke Grenade - grenade used as a ground-to-ground or ground-to-air signaling device, a target or landing zone marking device, or a screening device for unit maneuvering.

Personality: Gypsy is what many call a loose cannon, a maverick, mr. paperwork, I want your badge on my desk by Monday. These terms do not necessarily describe the man all that well, but Gypsy doesn't mind one bit, he likes being known as the reckless, unpredictable one. He was born a noble, but Gypsy didn't stick to that path very well, getting in fights and roughhousing about a ton when he could. He is nowadays a bit less of a jerk to others, but his dickish side does show itself occasionally. Gypsy is a rowdy sonofabitch, born to take chances and roll the dice, he likes the thrill of the gamble, even if the odds aren't in his favor, hell even if he loses it ain't so bad, so long as he's got his life. As long as he's alive he can still gamble.

Abilities:

Gypsy can form weapons, shields and everyday objects using a blue sorcery that enhances the look of whatever object he has magicked into existence. Gypsy’s ability is quite strong for his rank, but the lacking in durability of these conjurations is what puts him back a spell (haha get it a spell lol)
-hand to hand combat enthusiast-
This ability speaks for itself, Gyspsy likes getting his hands dirty, often literally, with blood I mean. A top class brawler, Gypsy can beat the shit out of most people.
Equipment:
Gloves of hectic sorcery: A gift from Gypsy’s father, can randomly enhance different incantations to achieve power often far above that of Gypsy’s level. The reverse is also true however as the gloves can also weaken said incantations and make certain spells not useless, but much weaker than they should be.
Other:
Bio: Born to house Code, Gypsy is a noble in the most lenient sense, preferring to spend his time among the common folk often. He was raised by loving parents who allowed him to do what he pleased, enjoying his noble status as much as possible. This doesn't mean his childhood was one of leisure and coddling however as early on in his life, Gypsy’s magic was discovered, an incredibly versatile ability known as Constructing. This lead to much training with his magical arts. His father also happened to be a martial arts enthusiast and this ended up passing itself onto Gypsy.

Gypsy had many friends in his childhood believing friendship to be one of the greatest gifts life could grant to a living being and among these friends, one of his closest was William Code, the notorious cryomancer and Ace of Diamonds. They were closer as children but the bond between them is still strong. Some might be confused by this friendship but the two do respect and care for one another, with Gypsy being one of the first to congratulate William on his ascension to Ace.

Gypsy studied hard and eventually reached a point he could be satisfied with his magic. He then left home for a time to better understand the world journeying throughout the kingdom of diamonds gambling and partying when possible.

When the war started Gypsy disappeared, he's recently resurfaced and wishes to work alongside his cousin.
