I suppose this is what I get for missing my later years of highschool
I never learned fancy organization skills like this
then again, when I try to be organized in threads, I'm also always too lazy for proper spacing and images and such so... I really only have myself to blame.

I DO kinda want to organize this whole thread a bit more later though. Like, change up some of my posts, make one for music links and one for art inspiration
cause I have a lot of the latter < 3
and condense my story notes to one post or something

And I used them before anyway.
Meant there was less for me to try and find
Kept using Control + F to try and find some stuff I KNEW was hiding
But then it'd be like "1 of 178" and I was like "CURSES"

We can definitely do that! XD But no rush, I think it's helped solidify everything in my head a bit more, OR at least get me thinking about stuff differently.

ON THE WEAPON

OKAY so I'm thinking the fire bit is pretty magical. Like it can blow some shit up, and not just the exact area around it. I imagine it has some crazy reach, but that's all up to us to decide.

I'm guessing it might even have an 'extinct' form of crystal or substance inside, that requires a certain chemical reaction to function and work. I dunno, just sounds cool. Maybe it requires enough people performing magic on it, maybe it requires nothing but muttering the right words in the Dragon language to set a magic spring that sets off a sequence that then makes it be able to work, I dunno man. Maybe it requires you put in the coordinates of wherever you'd like to blow up haha

I like the think the Dragons were crazy mofos who liked doing whatever the fuck they wanted, even if it wasn't usually violent haha.

Hell, maybe these weapons weren't traditionally used by Dragons themselves, but commissioned by humans for their wars.

ANYWAY design-wise, here are some general things I like:

I did actually consider something to do with an ancient kind of crystal. Like something that was in the dragons' traditional lands. And maybe the world weakening had also caused the crystals to stop forming naturally and got used up or something idk
would that even be possible for a natural resource lmao

so yeah I dunno yet, but you are definitely getting the dragon style exactly how I was kinda thinking of it? The carvings in the canon, that style of intricate art, with dragon beasts on it (might be how people thought they WERE beasts, but maybe the beast version is just a religion of their's that is dead now? ~ancient mythology~)

A canon wouldn't be a bad idea, except that it'd have to look and function a certain way for Altas to not immediately know what it is?

Haha I just humored the idea of a canon anyway, like I'm doing with all sorts of random objects XD
I like the idea of the weapon being operated by ancient dragon lingo. But even Servants might not have the dialect right so it would take a bit of practice and studying (and maybe dragon historic books/languages are normally banned from the guild libraries so they're hard af to get?).

This also gives me thoughts
like if it were some random ass contraption, kind of like the ward sort of is (I gotta find it's description again... did I ever describe it? idk)
only it'd be something in the canon's style. It wouldn't be made of wood cause that would have disappeared over so many years. But maybe they used stone materials or something?
it'd be an object that pops open and has some bullshittery inside
