Odette glanced over at Oahu. He seemed to really be against escaping. She understood why but at the same time she really didn’t trust it. There was good chance it didn’t really matter what they said. Problem was that this was a murder charge which can be a hard situation to get out of.

Caius made a comment about how they couldn’t stay in that hiding spot she mentioned for ever. “I know that I just meant until things calmed down.” She had to admit it felt good to have that hood off. Odette was starting to feel little more relaxed now but she suddenly found Caius standing infront of her with tons of questions which was kind of funny but worried her slightly. The human that had came to her village was very curious about them. But Mable asked her questions and never did anything to harm her. Maybe it was ok to answer them. He mentioned the things that were odd about her except the flowers in her head. Maybe he thought they were just attached to her head. “Don’t forget the two flowers growing out of my head.” She said with a slight laugh. She then answered his questions. “Well uh I’m not sure how to answer that first two questions. But yeah I guess it takes more energy I never really thought about it. As for needing more sun and water then regular plants in a way I guess we do. But the flowers on our heads are tougher then then regular flowers so they are more durable. We do eat but we are...how you people call it....vegetarians. As for reproduction we pollinate we don’t do uh....what was is it called....I can’t remember the word for it. Its what you people do which honestly is very strange.” She said as she gave a look that said they were the strange ones.

Odette glanced at Nyrea when she asked her question. Problem was Odette didn’t really know. She never really had to go without it. She always kept her windows open in the cottage she lived in and when she would help out miss Mable the window in the back was always kept open. That and when she was living in her village people were mostly outside all the time anyway. “Oh!” Something suddenly came to mind. “I can go a whole night. And I’m ok during rainy days for obvious reasons.” Which she was totally missing out on....actually was it even still raining? She hoped that helped a little bit. She listened to what Nyrea said. “Well I did knock him out with a frying pan he would of been out for quite a while at least long enough for the guards to come and arrest him. I think we would of been fine.” When she mentioned they would come after the people that she’d cared about that seemed highly unlikely. Only one person really knew her she was pretty much unknown to anyone else. Plus she’s and old lady that’s lived here for years hell the guards probably even knew her. “I pretty sure I’m fine in that department.” She glanced back at Caius who was still infront of her.

    EL AGUAR RIVIERA

    Redvale Monastery

Talking with Saia ( Bakuyoshi Bakuyoshi )

Just as the water mage was about to head down the steps of the great temple, he heard a voice behind him. Turning back around, to face the Draconian woman, he sighed. "But, you do ask for payment. Payment greater than any currency. Time. Your method takes time to pull off - you did say, after all, that it would take five years to at least start training with the monks. I do not have that time to spare. I have all the magical potential I need - I have all the power I desire, and now I just need someone to help me utilise in more ways that simply blasting someone with high pressure beams of water."

He stood, adjusting himself to face her properly with both armoured feet in line with each other, as he began contemplating the bulk of what the woman said to her. "Maybe this way is best for you, spending years to train with your elements, but I do not feel like it is necessary for me. My affinity to water allows me to perform water magic at levels way beyond my years, but I simply need to learn how to change magic into physical spells. A simple tome or a week training is all I need, not years of my life that I could be using to help others." He stopped for a second, to gather both his breath and his thoughts before continuing again. "I do not wish to waste more time than needs be, and I'm sure you could understand that?"

"Perhaps this way of life is better for you, but I do not believe it is better for me. I too wish to be a great hero, like my father and mother before me, but time comes to take us all and I do not want to spend the prime of my life not helping others. You are a Draconian - you have more than enough time to train this way, but for a simple human such as myself, this simply cannot be." He smiled as he spoke, but not in a happy or excited way but in a sad, almost defeated way. Time was not something that he had a lot of; if this woman was honest in her words, it would take five years to even begin his training. That was not something he could abide. People needed help, and in five years he could help countless people - even if he wasn't as powerful as he could be to do it. He noticed the way Saia reacted to her own words, as if embarrassed of them, and he could understand where she came from. She would outlive him by centuries, however, so Aguar felt he needed to make use of each second he has on this mortal plane.

Redvale

Saia had no idea how to respond to Augers point. In truth she kept forgetting what she was and how much time she had versus a human. She was already here for 5 years and yet it feels like no years have passed she still looks the same. This land was still new to her. "Then you pursue your own path. As I will mine." Saia said turning around and wallking away. Training was over so she had to take the time to get some fresh air.

Luna reached her hand out of the water, letting it drain off of it before she reached out, smiling she started to run her finger tips run over the edge of her ear. “Your fur is much softer than Silas’s....it suits you...” stopping her movement she stood up putting herself between maverick and whatever was watching them. Hissing at what was there, she had started nesting and was getting a little over protective. Baumet, the tiny black dragon landed infront of them.

It’s mouth opened and Raven’s voice came out “I see that you made it there safely my dear little bat, would you like to receive your gift now or later?” He asked curiously. Baumet playfully screeching at maverick as it hopped closer, sniffing the air then her. “I suppose later would be best considering your travel to the gift and then there’s the fact that your mate isn’t present....is the little one your guardian while he is away?” Raven asked through Baumet as it gazed up at her screeching happily, Baumet wanted to be pet and was nuzzling against Mavericks shoulder.

The Chronicles of Warren Lovely
Warren froze for a moment. He glanced back at the odd saddlebags on the back of his horse. "Thanks for the offer" Warren hesitantly said "but I have something I need to take care of first." He paused another moment. "Actually, I haven't been completely truthful with you. I was at the building that caused such a commotion yesterday." He turned once again trying to hold himself confidently. "I followed Eliana and two others here. They went around the backside of your restaurant and I just figured they would be here, so I brought the man who killed her brother here with me." Warren stood fully straight and asked "Who are you? Where is she?"

Foster
Foster stared at the creature as it continued its call. It really did look like some kind of vicious predator, just... pudgy. "Alright, Stubby. I'll do my best to see what's inside. I really hope... whatever this is is worth it." He examined the side of the jailhouse, scratching his beard thoughtfully. There seemed to be a thunderstorm going on in his stomach; he was so hungry at this point that it was hard to think about anything else, but after some searching he thought he saw a handhold or two where some of the old stone had worn away. Shrugging, he started up the wall.

After considerable struggling, he reached the window and grabbed a hold of one of the bars. The damn rusted thing shifted in his grip, causing him to lose his balance. Cursing wildly, he struggled to hold on, and nearly had it back under control when...

"HEY!"

Foster jolted as the shout erupted underneath him. He lost his other hand's grip and tumbled back to the ground, smacking his head hard against it. In a daze, he managed to see the Stubby thing... he really needed a better name for it than that... running away from somebody. A hand seized the back of his coat roughly, and he drifted off into unconsciousness.

.........

A trio of guards opened the door to the jailhouse lobby, tramping over to the cell with the others in it. One of them opened the door and shoved the still-unconscious Foster inside while the other two stood just outside, watching closely. Foster groaned softly, not quite awake as he sprawled on the floor in a heap.

"Thought this wretch could get you outta here, eh? I'll be honest, I never seen a worse attempt in me life." The men howled with laughter as they made their way back to the door.

Oahu heard something. "Shh... You hear that." He shushed everyone. It sounded like... His raptor. A second later the sound died down and someone else was thrown in the cell.

Odette suddenly heard foot steps and on reflex tried to hide. She hid behind Caius and peaked from behind him as the guards threw another man in with them. He was on the floor unconscious. She looked at the guards they seem to think he was suppose to help them escape. When the guards disappeared Odette spoke up. "If they think we were just now trying to escape doesn't that mean we'll have a harder time now and we'll be stuck in here longer?" Odette then came out from behind Caius and looked down at the past out man. "Does anyone know him?"

Lair Aelnor
Location: Ravinia, city of Redvale
Jailhouse (Blues)

Lair was a bit astounded regarding the appearance of the woman he had suspected. A plant-human hybrid? And here he thought he was the most exotic of the lot. He felt a bit of guilt making her reveal her unusual appearance... It was obvious why she had done so in the first place, with Caius questioning her like a rabid surgeon would. Though the answer about how long she could go without water and light did leave a curious impression on him. One whole night? What would happen if they were forced to stay that long?

Before he gets to speak, three guards barge into the room, causing Lair to jump and ruin his concentration on the wind wall. One of the guards opens the door and drags another man into the cell, only to quickly lock him up. The men laughed as they thought that he was trying to help them escape as they made their way out once more, likely to patrol.

"I don't know him," he replied to Odette. Though it was odd seeing him imprisoned with the raptor back to back. Was he trying to steal Oahu's dinosaur? He already learned to not get ahead of himself, and decided to get to know the man's side of the story first. "Oi, stranger. Were you really trying to bust us out?"

Xonrot.
Just outside the jewelers shop.
Mentioning. ( The Fabulous Emerald The Fabulous Emerald )
He nodded to her as he partially lifted his hood while standing in the doorway of the shop. Allowing himself to easily see the contents of the shop as his eye sparkled for just a moment. His inner dragon wanting For a long moment. For just a moment to purchase anything he could within the shop. Though he shook his head at the thought with how that would leave him on unsteady grounds with his estate...As while he collected rent from it occasionally. It never was a guaranteed profit with the upkeep to keep it guarded and the like. Though he found himself looking around the shop much longer than he planned as when he turned to start walking away, it was almost in sync with when the woman he met before was about to start leaving the shop. His mind made as he started off towards his estate once more.

Cross was silent as he just stood there. Joesph had not given him orders outside of this. Then he slowly walked away "Just find Joseph. Maybe he's got something else for me to do. Uh excuse me do you know where I can find Joseph? I'm only a new hire." Cross was nervous. He hadn't been a hire in so long. He did everything himself. So he was rusty to say the least.

Eliana McKenzie

Eli looked up at her. "I wouldn't ever complain about how long I was in captivity since I'm not anymore. I would've been glad for ANYONE to come and save me, but I'm extremely happy it's someone as strong, compassionate and.........." A bit of fidgeting again. She looked at Rose's midsection, about her stomach area. It looked like she was looking down though. A strategic place to look if someone were checking someone else's upper and lower assets. If Rose was good at reading expressions, she'd be able to connect the dots that Eliana was looking at both. "..........impurely attractive as you are."

Sir Joseph Watson
"Sir Joseph Watson, the Old Dawn General," he said, back on guard. The name would ring a bell to most people as he was one of the most renowned knights while he was in the army. "Eliana McKenzie was one of those we rescued from the Slave Auction held yesterday. We were sent by the people of Norbury to track her down and rescue her. Now she has belongings to get back and my co-workers are escorting her there. I was never told about a brother in Eliana's life."

Cross was pointed in the direction of Joseph, who was down the hall to the right, talking to some guy no one seemed to recognize. The people were incredibly friendly. However, some of them ran off after talking to him, or moving to avoid catching his eye. These were obviously the newly freed slaves traumatized and still scared.

"Female fur is typically softer than male fur. It's the same concept as with humans. Alpha though..........I don't know what he uses, but it's pretty high class stuff that I believe he makes himself. Whatever it is, he won't tell me. Trade secret," she finished the last two words in a mocking tone. Obviously she wanted to know his secret to that level of fur care yet he wasn't sharing.

Rose chuckled slightly. “You don’t need to be secretive about staring,” she teased slightly. She took Eliana by the waist again, staying close to her. “You may be the most stunning woman I have ever laid my eyes on.” Her own eyes travelled down Eliana’s body. “You are so stunning. I was smitten the moment Sir Joseph showed me your picture,” she said with a blush tinging her cheeks. “I’ve never acted on these feelings before.”

"It'll be a first for the both of us then." She said with a shy smile that got a bit more confident when Rose pulled her close. If either of them knew what to do, they were gonna have to get ready all over again. "Everything about you is captivating."

Cross came in and told them Joseph needed them to get Comms crystals. "I guess we have to go." She said, moving back towards her spear and grabbing it. She would've liked to change underwear, but more important things were at hand

She grabbed Rose's hand and led the way out to Cross. "Where were we to meet at?" She asked him.

Foster
Slowly, he become aware of his surroundings again. He lifted his head - everything was blurry - and stared around the dimly-lit room. A handful of people seemed to be looking at him, but it was difficult to tell with his brain apparently about to burst.

"-really trying to bust us out?" someone was saying. Foster squinted, searching for the speaker. Some form of beastfolk, a raven, it seemed. He still didn't know where he was, or why. Bust them out... his eyes drifted lazily across the people, and their surroundings. His eyes fell on a peculiar window. Narrow, barred with iron, up near the ceiling. The realization hit him like a splash of cold water; he sat up abruptly, shock plain on his features. No, no, no, damnit. He was in the cell the creature had led him to. If I catch that stubby fucking... "Well, this is just typical." He grumbled, scooting back so that he was away from the middle of the cell. He felt naked without the familiar weight of his rifle on his back.

"No, I wasn't trying to break anyone out. I'd never seen any of you before you all got hauled off earlier." Something about that made him chuckle wryly. "Impressive, by the way. Never seen a bar fight reel in that many at once."

He scratched at the purple lump on the back of his head and grimaced. "You see, it was probably pretty stupid of me, but there was this... giant chicken-looking monster outside the pub. I tracked it here, and tried to see what all the fuss was about, damn fool I am. I got clubbed, and that thing's probably still out there... laughing at me."

His vision was starting to clear enough to make out some facial features on the others. Two human men, the ravenfolk, and what looked like two human women - he still couldn't discern many specifics. The one woman seemed dangerous, by the way she stood slightly apart from the others, and the way she carried herself. The other - was that green hair? He gave her a long, curious look before remembering himself. "Name's Foster, by the way. I'm a... well, I've been a lot of things. Hunter, trapper, hired muscle, tinker, gunsmith... you name it, I've been it at some point." And that was all they were going to get out of him; he very deliberately left soldier off of the list. Nobody had to know of his shame. "Though what I am right now, is starving. Do you know when they bring the slop 'round the cells?" His stomach rumbled, as if for emphasis.

Nyrea
Location: City of Redvale
Jailhouse

Nyrea stoped herself before answering anymore. Not answering, defending herself it seems. There was really no point in doing it. Maybe it was a good thing they didn't understand why she had done what she did. But the time limit was bothering her, how were they supposed to get out if no one knew their way around? And fighting all this guards? How many of them could use magic? Should they try to get their weapons before getting out of the building. She had the dagger so she could break the lock and use it to fight but she doubted anyone had the sense or the ability to trying and hide something. Well she figured this jail wouldn't be so different from the ones she knew...

Her thoughts were interrupted by the loud noise and soon the guards dragged another human to their cell. Well he certainly wasn't here for her. She was sure she never laid eyes on the man before. Still she moved to his side and helped him get up, after hearing him talk "Really not the best place for a nap, trust me I've tried. I'm Nyrea by the way" a little smile appeared when she talked to him.

Before anyone could say anything else the door to the lobby opened once more and when Nyrea moved her eyes to the newcomers she felt her blood freeze.

Making their way inside was four more guards, one of them looking clearly more higher rank than any of the guards they saw so far, judging by their clothes. He was taller too, short dark brown hair with matching eyes and a big scar that run for the most part of his left cheek. But his toothy cruel smile, that smile was the reason she was terrified. It didn't reach his eyes but she could see that he had recognized her too. He walked to the bars slowly, confident eyes looked on her and Nyrea jumped to her feet and fought to maintain control of her posture.

"Look what the cat dragged in. Just my lucky day boys!" as he kept talking he moved a bit closer and Nyrea stepped back before catching herself doing it, but still bumping against Foster's chest. Keeping his gaze was all she could do, her voice frozen in her throat and hands balling into fists to prevent the shaking. Likely noticing her reaction and enjoying it he kept on talking "The infamous blue raven! That's a catch. Should have recognized the handiwork aye? Been busy, first the inn, now the tavern?" his smiled widened and he let the words be absorbed. Nyrea tried to swallow the lump in her throat with little success. Inn? what inn? But before she could really analise his words he started again. "Our friends will be happy to know where you decided to fly, but not before we have our fun aye? Missing that sweet voice of yours" he winked to her this time and if she had anything in her stomach she would probably vomit. This time her nausea making its way to her face, mixed with the recollections and fear. Reading it all in her face he just laughed loudly before turning away to leave "I'll see you in the morning raven" he waved, back already turned and gave some orders to give them the food the other brought in and that she hadn't notice until now and to keep close watch on the group before leaving. The three guards put the plates on the floor next to the cell and pushed them with their feet so the people inside could grab it from under the bars.

Nyrea just stood there, face pale before hearing the door lock again and taking a shaking breath. Only now noticing that her nails were carving her palms from the amount of strength she was using. Trying to shake herself out of the panic state she was in she turned to face everyone else in the cell.
"Guess we're breaking out." her voice was only a whisperer and her whole body was still shaking but she couldn't move for now.

Caius Grants
Redvale: Jailhouse
Caius does not quite understand the significance of Odette's flowers, for the most part he thought that there were simply decorations she had grown on her head. Other than the flowers, the answer given for the most part was within expectation for a moving, talking plant, and the only true shock was the fact that she actually eats, and a vegetarian at that. Does that count as cannibalism? He had asked himself. The again, even humans eat other animals after all, this shouldn't be too odd.

Before he could ask any further question, the situation began to change, starting with a man suddenly being dragged in. Apparently he was trying to help them escape, but Caius didn't know this man.

"I haven't a clue as to who this is."

Odette hiding behind him reminded him of someone, a little brother he once had. They were not related, Caius was human and he was elven and in fact, this little brother was actually older than he is, older, but smaller, and a bit more childish, which was why Caius always though of him as a brother. Where are they now, Caius wonders, where's Remus, sis, Lucius and Muriel? Where's father and mother? Quickly, Caius shook those thoughts away. That was a bad place for his mind to be. Those people were gone, and he would likely never see them again, he wouldn't even know if they're dead of alive, and he had long accepted that, or at least he should have. Caius watched the newcomer in silence as he collect his thoughts and inner composure.

The man called himself Foster, and though he called himself many things, one thing in particular stuck out to Caius, the part about being a gunsmith. Now Caius was a swordsman, but he never was one to be picky about his tools, he understood that he needed more than just a sword to get around in this world, and he had heard some good things about the so called guns, about how they were apparently easier to master than the bow, If there was a chance, he's definitely interested in trying one out for himself.

Then, once more, the situation shifted. A wise man once said that a million things could transpire in the span of a few moments, it would seem that he might not have been too far off. Stopping before their cell was three guards and then one more, looking higher ranked than the rest. Caius listened to his words in silence, moving only when they've brought in food. The exchange had granted Caius much insight into the situation.

"So you're that thief I've been hearing about." he said to Nyrea, "You have a history with that guy?"

In truth, Caius wasn't all that interested in the history between Nyrea and that other guard, but he is curious as to if he could simply dump all the blame in regards to what happened in the bar on her and be out of the cell by tomorrow, of if there is now a serious need to get out of there before the man comes back in the morning.

"Giant chicken looking monster..?" Oahu wondered. That sounded familiar. Of course it sounded familiar. That was the most common description of his raptors. "Oh! You must mean one of my raptors! That's probably Karry! She wasn't with the other raptors when we got thrown in here! Do you know where she is now?" Oahu was understandably excited. He loved his raptors and he knew that they could also help them. Somehow.

He passed by Eliana and Rose. "Hey dearies. This will be a nice opener to our little adventure. This man here I'm carrying it's named Warren. This other guy is the killer of a man named Keifer McKenzie. Does that ring a bell, Eliana?"
"Er, no sir."
"I thought as much. That means he's connected to the McKenzie family in a different way. Maybe a step brother or an in law. Regardless, something in Norbury is going on. I guess these old bones will stretch again." If someone was sent after this man and killed him, Eliana's capture wasn't all that incidental after all.

Apparently the man wasn’t trying to break them out. Seemed like he had just run into some bad luck. He glanced around at eveyone but when his eyes fell on her she noticed he seemed to be giving her a curious look. A long one at that. She was about to hide but he he finally stopped and introduced himself. “Maybe I should put my hood back on.” She said mumbling to herself. As she was considering this some guards came in. Odette hadn’t quite noticed them yet since her thoughts started to run off she didn’t noticed them till one started talking. She looked at the man and well she didnt like the vibe she was getting at all and Nyrea seemed to know him. After that exchange Nyrea whispered about breaking out. She seemed to be shaking. What was wrong with her? “Guess we should come up with a plan then.” Caius then asked what was her history with the guy. Odette would be lying if she said she wasn’t a little bit curious. Speaking of curious what type of food was that. She walked over and picked up one of the plates. It looked like slop. Why would someone want to eat this? She thought to herself. She decided to have a taste of it and well it was awful that and who knows what was in it. She started coughing and put the plate down. “That’s awful.” She coughed again and stepped away from it. There was no way she was eating that it might kill her! She went back to where she had been standing then sat down. She then waited to hear what Nyera had to say about that man.

Theseus Balder
Skies above Redvale
Theseus Balder, or Theo, as he preferred to be called, was enjoying a much neeed day off. He had had quite the exciting couple of days, what with helping an adventurer grouo raid a tomb (they died), uncovering a plot to poison the food at thetavern he worked (nobody died), and helping an old lady cross the street (one guy got injured but that was unrelated). Now, however, Theo got to spend an entire day to himself. As scpuch, Theo was doing his favorite activity: Watching. Not for research purposes, however. No, he hadn't watched for research in a long time. Theo was doing this for fun. He was just going to sit there in plain site and watch people go about their day. Maybe he'd see something funny. Theo alighted upon the roof of a rather tall building. He looked around. Nothing interesting, yet.

Sir Joseph Watson

Joseph caught Warren and let the killer fall. "Looks like we have an interrogation," he said with a chuckle as he dragged Warren in. He called over a few others and they brought the killer in.

The killer was tied up and Warren was dried off. Eliana and Rose both got communication crystals and Joseph noted their closeness. "You two have hit it off quite nicely," he said observing the two.

Rose listened closely and frowned, coming to the same conclusion as Watson did. What if this kidnapping was much more planned out than originally thought. She squeezed Eliana’s hand and thanked Watson for the crystals, putting hers on as a necklace. She blushed when he commented on her and Elaina’s closeness to each other. “Yes we have, Sir,” she said with a weak chuckle. She wrapped her arm around Eliana’s waist and rubbed her side gently, comfortingly. “Sir, will you be accompanying us? If this is a larger conspiracy than we thought it may be more than we can handle alone.”
