[ - Torrin Korsalthyr ● Warrior ● Draven ● Human form - ]
The evening patrol had been nothing short of dull for Torrin. There had been nothing of consequence- no rogue dragons, no sign of humans and not even another glimpse of another living creature. He had been impatient in his wait for the other warrior, eager to return to his bed and relax before breakfast could be served. Finally, he made his way into his room and collapsed on his bed, exhausted. It could have been minutes or hours when Torrin next awoke, roused from his sleep by a deafening roar that echoed through the halls. Groaning to himself, he stumbled to his feet and shifted into his human form. It was with a gruff sigh that he once more left the comforts of his room.

As he walked, he could begin to hear the murmur of voices rising from the dining hall. Stepping into the room, Torrin glanced about. Most of their pack was already seated, talking amongst themselves. It took him a moment more to slip into his seat, gaze flickering towards the alphas at the head of the table. He bowed his head in acknowledgment, before once more averting his eyes. As Rima stood to stand, he felt the press of a hand against his side. Wordlessly, he opened his arms. A small figure slid into his lap, eyes shut. Alessia curled into her father’s chest, still half-asleep. He paid her content hum no heed as he listened to their alpha speaking, doing his best to school his expression.

As he listened, he felt a curl of unease in his gut. Draven was a new pack and no matter how much strength some of them possessed, there were still some that just weren't equipped to fight off another pack and humans. After Rima had once more sat, an unbearable silence engulfed the room. Unsure, Torrin cradled his child just a little closer. He shot a look towards Elide, noticing the grim expression she wore. Torrin shifted, eyes focused on the table. He couldn't help but worry his bottom lip. It seemed they had little choice in their matter to allow the Astra into their home- the invitation had already been sent out. He only hoped their alpha had not made a grave error by opening their doors to their enemies.

[ - Alessia 'Sia' Ichiraku ● Hatchling ● Draven ● Human form - ]
Alessia sighed, feeling tired and not in the mood to wake. She had heard the call from their beta and despite the gentle reprimands from Elide, she had continued to doze. She was only vaguely aware of being lifted, curling around the person who carried her. It was only when they were nearing the dining hall that she finally awoke, lifting her head to find a familiar shade of green. When she was unable to find her father, Alessia huffed. Her annoyance faded the moment she spotted Torrin step into the dining hall. She watched as he sat, waiting only a moment before she was bumping his side and slipping to curl around his warm chest. Chirping under her breath, Alessia settled and once more closed her eyes, not really interested in the conversation.

[ - Elide Korsalthyr ● Elder ● Draven ● Human form - ]
Tired was the only word that could express how Elise felt. She had spent the night attempting to sleep, only to be disturbed by a certain hatchling that snored and shot sparks from her snout every five seconds. Elide huffed, glancing over to the girl in question. Despite her frustration, it was impossible to stay angry with the child. Groaning as she sat up, one azure eye drifted around the room. Finding that two were only the two occupants in the room, she raised a brow in surprise. It wasn't often that Elide slept in, let along long enough for the occupants to have long abandoned their nest. It took her a moment to climb to her feet, shaking her head as she shifted into her human form. Stretching her arms over her head, Elide sighed to herself. Alone within the silence, she allowed her thoughts to drift. Chilled fingers pressed against her eye, trailing the jagged lines along her face. A roar caught her attention, startling her enough to drop her arms.

Head tilting, she listened to the summoning before turning back to the nest. Prodding at Alessia, her attempts to wake the girl proved futile. Huffing, she slipped her arms under the girl and carried her from the room. Walking into the dining hall, Elide immediately noticed the tension that hung in the air. Choosing to keep her greetings brief, she nodded her head and sat closest to the omega and the other hatchling. Her gaze drifted towards Tawny, watching as the girl continued to avoid eye contact. Realizing that there was currently a lapse of silence, she leaned closer to the girl to speak.

"How are you this morning, child?" She hummed, not unkindly.

Her attention was diverted when Torrin strode into the room, settling down within his usual seat. It wasn't a moment later before Alessia left her arms, slipping into her father's lap. Unable to scold the girl, Elide huffed. Although there was some slack due to their parental bond, the hatchling could still be punished for not heeding Elide. Nevertheless, her worries were forgotten once Rima began to speak. Elide listened in with interest as the alpha spoke of her plans. It was no surprise to the elder; the distaste for humans and the Astra pack was echoed amongst many of their pack, herself included. Turning her gaze to her son, she met his gaze from across the way. It was difficult to read his expression, especially when he broke their eye contact to stare at the table.

niri looked to her alpha and then back out the window. "Be careful." She says tenderly before rushing off to join Al with the hatchlings. The healer kept glancing about, nervously anticipating something. Astra and Draven have bad communication skills - further more, their female alpha is quite the example of terrifying. However, Astra seems to have have stronger defensive capabilities - if not lacking a bit in the offense.

Niri looked to Al, holding the hatchlings close to her and rubbing their shoulders in comfort. The healer noticed a deep poderning on his face and tilted her head. "Al, have you met that man down there?" She asked curiously. There was no hostility in her voice; no one thinks she can manage one. Her eyes shown honest questions which were welcome to be denied. She looked out the window again, watching the scene break out. She hoped they wouldn't fight.

Styx snarled at Doran, spreading his wings and using his illusions to make himself look bigger, "If I was talking to you, Doran, I would have said so. I have no interest in a whelp like yourself. Besides, even I don't know of the message. I was simply sent to deliver it." He growled, "And I will more than happily slaughter you, no matter what time of day." It didn't matter how worn out Styx was, he was always more than willing to fight. Fighting made him feel alive, and he was itching to claw Doran's eyes out in moments if the Beta didn't give in. He didn't notice how Astiel was creeping closer, intent on harming if the Draven Beta so much as stepped forward in his Alpha and Beta's directions.

Artemis hissed at the Beta of Draven's threat, "Then give us the message and leave, Styx." She ordered. The Draven warrior growled, throwing the letter to the ground at Artemis's feet, "Have it." He snarled, snapping his teeth at the Alpha. A movement that Astiel, feeling slightly dizzy and pained, saw as a threat, and the mechanically appendaged dragon leapt at Styx with a roar. They thrashed against each other for a moment, claws and teeth aiming to disable each other, though Styx was certainly aiming to kill his weaker attacker. Within moments Styx had his claws dragging over Astiel's side, before Artemis herself screeched at them both to stop the nonsense, running forward to push Styx back off of Astiel, who stumbled back obediently, eyeing the Draven Beta who seemed more than angry, and seemed ready to launch himself forward at the others. His eyes were on Astiel though, angered that the weakling would even attempt to attack him, and he leapt forward at Artemis to get past to Astiel, intent on revenge.

Ash had just been about to walk in with Jukal, having finally gotten up, when Al came toward her, shooing them the other way. What was happening? The tiny ice dragon blinked as she was drawn into Niri's arms beside Jukal, rather embarrassed that she found comfort in the touch and leant into it. She was barely old enough to be an Omega as she was, but she was an Omega, not a hatchling, and she shouldn't need to be coddled. She whined softly, confused, and pressed herself against Jukal, making sure he was okay.

Tawny shivered at the news. Astra, here? Frightened eyes glanced to the Alpha, even when she knew she shouldn't even try and make eye contact, before she bowed her head again. It certainly wasn't her place to say anything of her opinions. Her eyes trailed to Alessia and Elide, and Levi seemed to perk up at the sight of his fellow hatchling, though he grumbled softly when she went to sit with her father instead of playing with Levi.

In truth, Elide's rather gentle question didn't sink in until Tawny realised she was actually speaking to her. She blinked up, confused and worried, and bit her lip slightly, nodding her head, "I-I'm okay, Elide... Thank you f-for asking. A-Are you okay?"

Ignis Krayne - Elder - Astra - Human Form

Ignis nodded towards his alpha solemnly, expecting such orders for the situation. Briskly, well as briskly as his lead-like legs would move, he followed alongside the hatchlings. No matter how hard he tried to keep up with his fellow hurrying pack members, it seemed he would always fall behind, and it seemed to aggravate his legs further as well. After a moment of thought, he opted to just stay near the rear, it would be easier for him to defend them as well from this position. Glancing at the scene outside through the passing windows, he grit his teeth as battle ensued. It seems their peaceful times were over.

Ophael Elsti - Beta - Draven - Human Form

As soon as Ophael seated herself, after Tawny and Levi has successfully been led to the dining hall, her alphas announcement struck her to her very core. Invite the astra here? She immediately doubted many would accept the invitation. Surely the risk was too high for them? If Artemis did indeed accept, it would be as if she had allowed her pack to walk into a lions den, or even a trap. Perhaps if there was a middle ground they could meet it would seem more fair, like one of the mountains in between their homes. But nonetheless, it was her alphas decision. Ophael had never been one to voice her opinions out loud, and enjoyed simply following orders and making the most of situations. The thought reminded her of when Styx said that she reminded him of the wind, ever-flowing and adapting.

Wait, Styx. He was sent to the astra alpha to deliver the message. Before she knew it, her mind was already away from the important announcement, and onto one of the few people she truly valued in her life. She wanted to go find him, he probably tried to pick another fight again. She gazed outside the window, as calmly as ever, in the direction of the astra castle.

Sharline Milsh - Warrior - Astra - Dragon Form

Sharline sighed as she watched the exchange of ferocious words and threats. Was it just her, or did the astra seem more barbaric than the draven? However, she knew were her loyalties lay, as she silently transformed in a white mist. Out of the corner of her eye, as she watched the draven warily, she noticed Astiels leg twitching terribly, as well as the rest of his body. Before she knew it, both Styx and Astiel were brawling, with Astiel losing terribly. She should have noticed sooner, but why is he out here if he is incapable of fighting well? As a mere warrior, she couldn't order him to fall back, but she could try to protect him. Although fighting with extra baggage tended to annoy her. Styxs form appeared ferocious and large for a beta, but Sharline had never been one to have a lack of courage.

As soon as Styx leapt forward in an attempt to engage Astiel once more, Sharline silently leapt at his air-borne form, causing them both to fall, but managing to pin him to the ground with the element of surprise. "You are out-numbered and in enemy territory Draven. Lay off your attack." Immediately, she began to freeze him, despite the weather, just to render his movements slower and harder to maintain.

The healer could just see how it was begining to escalate from where she watched. Doran was always was so aggressive with others... And now Sharline was joining in too. The draven member was obviously out numbered but stood their ground despite almost all of the Astra warriors gathering before him. Niri couldn't tell if this was because there was back up waiting along the outskirts of their castle. She furrowed her eyebrows in concern, fingers idley rubbing the omegas around her legs in gentle circles to soothe them.

"This could get out of control quite quickly..." She mumbles aloud. She looks to Al, "I should go down there," she says. "I know its going against alphas order, but... If this gets out of hand its a definet act of war, and we cannot allow that." Niri frowns, "watch the little ones, I'll be back." And without further word, she rushes off to the front of the castle, hoping that they wouldn't jump at eachother yet.
