Age: 34

Origins: County of Bergliez

Crest: The Beast

Bio: Professor Gehrmund was born in the county of Bergliez as the second son born to an unknown mother. Both he and his older brother bore separate crests, yet Gehrmund was treated with disdain from his father, beyond Gehrmund's understanding. He was often kept under constant surveillance as a kid and this was worsened by his almost inhuman strength. A crest Scholar eventually analysed his crest and told Gehrmund that those with his crests were bound to end up as beasts wandering aimlessly. Upon hearing this, Gehrmund left his family and pursued a life as a solider, hoping the stronger he got the more he could resist his crest. His hard work landed him a high ranking officer in Adrestia military. However, despite his efforts, he began to bear troubling symptoms, including losing his senses and wandering into the forest with no control. Upon experiencing this, he abandoned Adrestia and headed to Garreg Mach where he hoped he could be helped.

It was at Garreg Mach where he met a nun who worked tirelessly to ease his condition. With her support, Gehrmund was able to get his crest under control and eventually married this woman. With his new courtship, he became a knight of Seiros and his abilities eventually landed him as a professor.

Personality: Gehrmund is a quiet and serene individual, an expert at staying calm in tough situations. He does not talk much, but when he does it is kept short. Gehrmund is a caring individual who hopes to pass his skills down to a new generation and will work hard to do so. He tends to be reckless in battle and has plenty of battle scars to show for his experience, but this recklessness has also emerged itself as being a bold and brave person who can be relied upon.

Brawling

Weaknesses:

Goals:
Combat Goals: Gehrmund focuses on being a horseback warrior that specializes in the lance and commanding forces on the ground.
Personal Goals: To protect his students from any harm.

Name: Narcisse von Daphnel
Appearance:
Archer.png
Notes: His right index finger is stitched back onto his hand and he has two huge scars on his shoulders.
Age: 17
Pre-established Relationships:
Hellman Alaric Gloucester: Unlike his interactions with anyone else, he believes that Hellman has the biggest stick up his face. Just due to the fact of how rude and stubborn he is to generally everyone else. It really is tiresome talking to a guy like him.
House Rosemere and House Charon: His family has waged many skirmishes in both offense and defense. To those bearing the names of Charon and Rosemere, mainly Charon, Narcisse is a little tense towards them due to their association with the war and the deaths during each skirmish.

Origins: House Daphnel

Crest: Major Crest Of Daphnel

Bio:
Narcisse von Daphnel was born in House Daphnel in the year 865, on the month of the Garland Moon. Out of his two other siblings he inherited a Major Crest Of Daphnel, one inheriting a minor and the other crestless. His crest secured his place as heir of House Daphnel, making him the attention child. Despite this newfound attention, he found it tiresome. It was suffocating as his parents buried with lessons of nobility and pampering him with love and affection. It was too much for his liking. His attention, however, gained him the unwanted jealousy of his brothers. While his second older brother often verbally attacked him whenever he got the chance, his crestless brother often beat him up every time their eyes met. These misdeeds were often punished, but it only stoked the flames of jealousy.

His crestless older brother took it too far as he pinned him down to the ground. Taking out a kitchen knife from his pocket, he began to stab and twist the knife into his shoulders. Just before help had come, he did one last act. He chopped off his right index finger. That was the last straw for his family as they decided to be done with him. For taking a finger from the heir of Daphnel, they took his hand and banished them from their land. His other older brother desist from any verbal attacks and mainly avoided him. Throughout the entire event, he pitied himself and his siblings. For his siblings the want for attention and affection of their parents, for himself the misfortune of being born into his station.

It turned out for the worse as the sudden archduke's death caused a rebellion led by Lord Riegan. Everyone was in the house was in turmoil. Arguments between his father and other members of the family had gone through the roof. Throughout all of this, he stayed quiet. He didn't want involve himself into the huge mess that was happening around him. His brother, on the underhand, gleefully took part in the debate, taking his father side in hopes to gain his favor. Despite all of the turmoil going on, his father sent him to Garreg Mach to become an officer at the academy.

Personality:
Narcisse wouldn't be called lazy but rather unmotivated. He puts in medium effort in whatever he does before giving up completely and moving on to something else. He is polite and will engage in friendly conversation, befitting of a noble. Overtime, he genuinely becomes more engaged and active in the conversation. Though mention anything about his house or crest, he'll immediately deflate and only give simple gestures instead of verbal communication. This also involves him doing anything related to his house and crest, restricting him from using combat arts. The only time that he is ever motivated into doing something, aside from a good book, are animals. Though his interactions with them are rather strange. Instead of throwing seeds on the ground, he throws them at the birds. Instead of throwing the ball for the dog, he throws it at the dog. Instead of riding a horse like a normal person, he performs some sort of insane trick that shouldn't work.

He is, however, a devout believer of the Church of Seiros. He often prays for his brothers and other people for good luck and happiness. Even though a part of him knows that his prayer wouldn't reach the goddess, it is the wishful thinking that carries him on. The guilt of him being the cause of many other's misfortunes also drives him to pray, as an act of repentance. Aside from praying to the goddess, he also spends his time on random activities. Half heartily gardening, fishing, burning good food, playing with the any animal, and reading random books are often what he does. Anything to keep himself busy.

  • She wears boots with the very same motif of the school uniform
  • She likes to tie her hair most of the time, especially when it is hot

Age: 18

Pre-established Relationships:
Eira | Childhood friends, kept in contact with letters while Eira studied in the school of Magic

Origins: House Blaiddyd

Crest: Major Crest of Blaiddyd

Boons x4:
  • Lances
  • Authority
  • Brawling
  • Axe
Budding Talent:
  • Reason
Weaknesses x2:
  • Riding
  • Heavy Armor

of House Blaiddyd
Unit Goal: Her admiration for Saint Macuil and fascination with for becoming a commander has lead for her to aspire to become a War Master.

Personal Goal: Prove herself to be worthy of respect (mostly just to her cousins and quite possible, their mother too) and in turn help her cousin lead Faerghus. Because she is part of the family, Vladimir is good to her and so does the Heir, it was the least she could do to repay them.

Bio:
There will always be that story where the princess finds love with a man of common societal upbringing. It's a story that her mother always told her whenever she asked for a sappy story, she never expected it to be true. For as long as she can remember she only knew her mother to be the woman who fell in love with her father and had lived a little farther away from a small town near the Oghma Mountains.

They had a really good life, a small house but they were happy. There were unfortunate events but for a family of coal burners, all they needed was each other. After finding out about her mother, something she denied earlier but later on as it was shown to her, it all made sense to her how her mother had looked so graceful in everything that she does, to the things that she taught. Her father and his sword, his discipline, sometimes he slips and refers to her mother as "your highness."

Antoin was the personal retainer of Mischa, the younger sister of the now King Vladimir. It wasn't by anyone how the two fell in love, some say that it was when they first met, others say that they fell in love gradually over time. None can really say which was the truth, not even Yuliya has any idea. But in reality, he just helped the princess escape from a marriage she didn't want. Mischa didn't know the life of being a commoner and he helped her every step of the way, it was then when Mischa fell in love with Antoin.

One day of coming home from the small village nearby after playing with kids her age, Yuliya finds her mother on the ground with a face half burned. Their house turned into ashes and with her father who lay crisp beneath the rubble. This lead to a life in the Church where they let the two stay. Yuliya did nothing but take care of her mother until Mischa succumbed to her illness. She began helping around the Church, to be specific running errands mostly for the Crest Scholar who stayed there. He had her checked if she had a crest one day, to his surprise she had a Major Crest of Blaiddyd.

No sooner did a carriage came to escort Yuliya to the Kingdom of Faerghus. Upon arrival, the King had welcomed her into his family so readily. He knew that she was his sister's daughter, their face was quite similar similar. The sand-colored hair and piercing blue eyes was a family trait. Albeit the news of Mischa's death, whose real name was Klaudia, had given him grief he wasn't about to ruin his niece's coming.

Vladimir tends to spoil her, not like with most of his children to which Yuliya has become a victim of their intense jealousy. Mockery of her life before she came to the palace, her mother and father and countless more that can be considered as emotional abuse. The only cousin she had a good relationship with was the Heir to the throne. They study or train together from time to time, they have respect for each other and sometimes he would help her out at times. She came to dislike living in the castle, even more so when people came and wanted to take her hand in marriage or when she was asked to consider marrying this person or that person.

It didn't interest her, marriage that is. At least not yet. She wanted to improve, accomplish many things and shove those down the throats of her cousin. So she asked if she could go and study in the officer's academy, which he accepted after countless begging and a condition. That she takes the Blaiddyd name. She accepted aswanted to hone her skills with her father's sword, and learn to use magic akin to that of Saint Macuil like the legends her mother told her before she went to sleep or as good as she can be.

Personality:
While her more outgoing and shinning personality has been replaced by that of a somewhat slight misanthrophistic view of people a moody personality, and a focus-hard work oriented mindset. Letting her anger and frustrations fuel her to improve. Though she appears as noble as she can be, there are times where she is shown to have a sudden change of moods. Rarely but does happen, the sudden yelling especially when she is woken up abruptly.

She sees people in a negative way as they would always either want something from her, make a mockery of her life, or just don't respect her in general being the daughter of a run away princess. That doesn't mean that she stopped knowing how to care or be kind. It'd take time but there is no such thing as an impenetrable wall or fortress. Although her smiles don't always come out as genuine, she's quite the honest character.

Eira Estelle Rosemere

Name: Eira Estelle Rosemere
Appearance:
  • Left is Eira as a Dark Flier
  • Right is Eira in that Officer's Academy uniform
  • Hair: Plum
  • Eyes: Crimson
  • Height: 168 cm or 5’5
  • Weight: 55 kg or 121 lbs
Age: 17
Pre-established Relationships:
  • Yuliya - Childhood friend
  • Narcisse - due to their feuding houses, Eira feels animosity towards them
Origins: A small dukedom on the coast of Faerghus, nearing the self-proclaimed Leicester Alliance
Crest: Crest of Chevalier
Bio:
Being a descendant of one of smaller noble houses, The Duke of Rosemere and his wife are quite proud of their heritage. After consummating their marriage, the two tried for years to have a child but were disappointed year after year. Heartbroken, the Duke and his wife sought aid from the Church of Seiros for assistance in conceiving, knowing their mages were some of the finest in Fodlan. The Church agreed, and they were soon pregnant.

Eira's mother had an overall calm pregnancy, rarely plagued by morning sickness. She did, however, crave bitter foods often, but the Duke happily obliged to her requests. She would hum and sing to her pregnant belly, which would continue well into Eira's childhood. Under a flurry of snowdrops, their daughter was born. The happy couple named their daughter Eira (meaning: Snow) Estelle (meaning: Star) Rosemere, after her stormy arrival. The Duke would then call Eira his "little Star."

As Eira grew, her parents were surprised to see that she bore the Crest of Chevalier. Confused, the family swore the Crest Scholar to secrecy. Though Crests are invaluable, the Rosemeres chose to keep Eira's crest a secret from the public. This sparked controversy in their small duchy, and the people wondered if the Duke and his wife would try for another child: a child that bore a Crest.

This secrecy created a lot of pressure and ridicule towards Eira as she grew older. She, however, used this to her advantage to try and excel in her studies to show one does not need a Crest to succeed. Her treatment from the public eye solidified her hatred for Crests and inequality from a young age.

Though the dukedom of Rosemere lies on the coast of Faerghus, the frigid weather rarely allows for coastal enjoyment. To combat the little there was to do, Eira's parents gifted her a beautiful grey Pegasus when she was seven years old. As a joke, Eira named the steed Orpheus. She will always laugh when introducing her companion. To her dismay, most do not understand the joke that Orpheus means "the darkness of night."

"Do you get it? The darkness of night and the horse is practically white as snow?"

If someone laughs at that joke, she will instantly become their friend.

As Eira grew older, she became more proficient at flying, and she and Orpheus held a special bond. She had the chance to study at the prestigious mage school located in Faerghus, honing her mage skills. When the Crescent Moon War began, Eira's parents sent for her to come back home. After fending off small skirmishes, the Duke determined it was best to send his only daughter (and heir) to Garreg Mach Monastery to attend the Officer's Academy instead, believing this would be the best course of action to protect her. Eira was against leaving her family and dukedom but obliged.

Though small, their dukedom continues to fight with fearsome determination against the Leicester Alliance, remaining loyal to the Kingdom.

  • Bancroft Rosemere, The Duke of Rosemere [43]: Eira and Bancroft hold a special bond as she is an only child. She looks up to him as a leader and hopes to be like him one day
  • Theia Rosemere, The Duchess of Rosemere [41]: Eira and Theia are extremely close and share many hobbies and interests. Eira gets a lot of her likes and quirks from her.

Overall, the Rosemere's are a tight-knit family

Personality:
Though born of noble blood, Eira holds little regard for her place in society. She believes the circumstances of one's birth (as well as crests) do not determine who they are as a person. Despite this, she regards her studies with importance merely to appease her mother and father and the public. In the public eye, Eira tries to be a proper noble who takes her position earnestly, but in reality, she is quite clumsy and somewhat awkward.

Aside from her shortcomings, Eira is an excellent student, studying whenever she may get the chance. In her spare time, in private, she often sings or hums to herself and dances (a trait brought on by her mother). Because these aren't valuable in the eyes of Faerghus, Eira has deemed them more like hobbies. Though she excels in mage craft as her expertise, the nobility of the Faerghus value strength; thus Eira is vigilant in her lance practice. Her overzealous training stems from her innate need to please her family and to overcome her clumsiness.

In regards to the ones she is closest to, Eira would do anything to protect them. She trusts too quickly, which is another downfall. She is a "people-person," and enjoys the company of others, genuinely wishing for equality. When excited about something, she tends to speak loudly on the subject. As the war continues, Eira's personality begins to harden, and she becomes less trusting of people. Her clumsiness is soon replaced with an air of dignity and determination, a personality befitting a knight on the frontlines.

Boons:
  • Reason, Faith, Flying, Authority
Budding Talent:
  • Lance
Weaknesses:
  • Heavy Armor, Brawling
Goals:
  • Combat: Eira feels very strongly towards her family, and holds extremely tight bonds with her people and her family's dukedom; therefore, she secretly aspires to become a Dark Flier leading the front lines of the Rosemere's Knights.
  • Personal: To become less clumsy, and more like a daughter her family could be proud of.

Name: Rayleigh Sparrow
Fake Name: Kasset Chaloner
Appearance (Written or a picture is fine):

548BB446-5D42-455E-A5B1-C52FD710E14A.jpeg

zero.jpg

Age: 17
Pre-established Relationships:
Origins: Stole a position from house chaloner, formerly a mercenary.

Crest:
Bio:
Rayleigh was kidnapped from a cult that trained children to become assassins. They operated from a cave, in which the children were subjected to experiments and torture.
Among the children was another named Christine who Rayleigh was friends with. They would often cover for each-other to prevent the other from getting into too much trouble.
The children had long since planned to escape together. Rayleigh managed to escape without the others and came back a year later to only find the children were all dead. She killed off all the remaining cultists left at the cave. Holding a funeral with the dead children including Christine, Rayleigh buried all the victims of the Cultists.
From then on Rayleigh became a mercenary wandering throughout Faerghus. Most of the time she tended to keep a low profile to keep obscurity however that didn't last...
Years later she eventually got tasked to assassinate a noble from a lesser known house.
This however turned out to be a test from a group of radicals that wanted to use her to infiltrate the house and gain power throughout Faerghus.
Rayleigh had ventured into the night while the Noble of House Chaloner was asleep and killed him.
Their leader a man named Ideon had caught Rayleigh in the act of assassinating the noble heir and had came to Rayleigh with a forced proposition of assuming the young man's identity.
Tasked with attending the officer's academy under the guise of the male heir to the house, Rayleigh is trapped in a situation with no way out and being caught could result in severe punishment.

Personality:
Rayleigh is a melancholic and secretive person. She is often distrusting and self deprecating internally. Due to her upbringing she often comes off as cold or mysterious.
Rayleigh typically doesn't interact with others, only when necessary.

Due to being forced to rush into a position as Kasset Chaloner, most of her responses around House Chaloner are extremely limited and practiced, leadering her to be more secretive about the house out of necessity.
Rayleigh tends to be someone who practices combat skills alot and does well as a student. She is incredibly gifted at both using a sword or a bow but suffers poorly when it comes to mounted combat. She tends to be good at going unnoticed throughout Garreg Mach, often being present without others even noticing her and being able to slip out of view easily.
She responds poorly to those who speak low of mercenaries or assassins. Rayleigh is incredibly cautious.
Rayleigh tends to eat her food quickly, a habit she picked up from spending most of her life on the move.

Rayleigh enjoys solitude, reading, training and appreciates effective teaching.

Boons: Sword, Bow, Authority, Reason
Weaknesses: Riding, Flying
Goals: Rayleigh excels extremely at being stealthy, quick, observant and managing different types of weapons, and as such she wants to become an assassin.
Rayleigh wants to get through Garreg Mach without having her identity discovered.

Name: Owen Osbell

Age: 18
Pre-established Relationships: Open, just hmu(i don't bite,promise)
Origins: Common family on the outskirts of Faerghus
Crest: None
Bio: Owen's past was not a pleasant and he rather not bring it up to anyone. He was born into
a rather poor family in the Adrestian Empire, living his parents and younger sister. It was tough
getting by every day, basically having to fight for what they had. For most parts, his family did
pretty decent when it came to money, but did that stop the corrupt higher ups? No. On Owen's
seventh birthday, he was forced to go to a training camp by the empire's military. The current
had no idea of the horrors that were forced on kids his age and the ones who ran this camp had
no intentions of telling the empire the truth.

Why was this camp so bad? well, they trained those poor children non stop so they could
one day join the Empire's rank as soldiers. This harsh training also tainted Owen's heart. He
assigned task and jobs that a boy at his age shouldn't have to carry. Before things could get
any worse, there was attack on the camp. A group of mages who had been investigating the
camp had invaded camp to save these young boys. A man by the name of Jearl Osbell was
the one who took Owen's. Jearl wanted to return him to his family, but he knew it was dangerous.
He took Owen back to Faerghus where he raised him along side his very son.

It took a while, but Owen's heart begin to open up thanks to his new family. He studied magic
along side his adoptive brother which begin to soothe his dark heart. Owen has enjoyed his
time with his new family, but one day he wishes to save his blood family and expose the evil
in the empire
Personality: Owen is a relaxed and chill guy, who seems to have little care in the world. He's
very friendly, approachable. He loves to meet people and tries his best to befriend those
he comes across. The young man is open minded, a shoulder you can lean if trouble. He
loves to hear the stories of other, but sometime he'll fall alseep in mid conversation thanks
to his laziness. Owen is more a lover than a fighter, so he'll avoid any kind of violence if
he can. It's true that Owen is a very gentle soul, but throw him into combat, the dark side
of him than haunts him reveals it's self. He becomes more aggressive, a little harsh and
mean. He tries his best not to pick up a sword or lance, although he's extremely skilled
with both
Boons x4 : Sword, Lance, Reason, Faith
Weaknesses x2 : Heavy Armor and Brawl
Goals : Beside saving his family back at the empire, Own strives to become a great mage. He
wants to discover new types of magic and learn as many spells as possible

Name:
Alphonse Boudouin Charon

Age:
18

Pre-established Relationships:
open for business!

Origins:
House Charon

Crest:
Major crest of Charon

Bio:
Alphonse is the youngest of three sons, and the only one to inherit the major crest of Charon, while both of his brothers have the minor. Despite bearing a major crest Alphonse's eldest brother maintained his status as heir by the decree of his father, stating that "only the strongest swordsman could become heir". Alphonse's father was a stern and honest man who valued a person's strengths over their status or bloodline, and he drilled this ideal into his sons. Though as Alphonse started to grow older it became clear that he wasn't as talented as his brothers, he couldn't swing a sword with the same speed and precision and his body didn't react as fast. Alphonse was commonly called the "Runt of Charon" due to the huge gap between him and his brothers. Although Alphonse was never treated differently but he always felt like a disappointment in the large shadow of his family, he didn't feel worthy to bear the crest.

There was one difference between Alphonse and his brothers, and that was strength, both physically and mentally. A trait he inherited from his mother, his father was an odd man as mentioned before, he would only marry a woman if he could best him in combat, Alphonse's mother, a woman from the far north is the only person in written records who's ever defeated him. She came from a small village from the most northern reaches of Fódlan, and she'd help fend off against bandits and large bears. Her preferred weapon was a simple fire axe, the same one Alphonse would use to chop wood, which was something he enjoyed doing, along with other manual labour.

Upon the arrival of the Crescent Moon War Alphonse's brother were quick to protect the Kingdom, seeing as they're close to the border. The two eldest sons quickly made a name for themselves on the battlefield, with the eldest wielding Thunderbrand. Alphonse wanted to follow in his brothers footsteps and join the war, though after the sudden and tragic news that the middle brother had died in an ambush by Alliance forces Alphonse's father instead sent him to the Officers Accademy, unable to see another of his sons dead.

Family:
Cédric Charon - 50 - Alive - Alphonse's father, a fearsom swordsman and head of house Charon.
Adeline Charon - 47 - Alive - Alphonse's mother a commoner and powerful woman.
Edgar Charon - 24 - Deceased - Middle child of house Charon, skilled in both the blade and magic, died to an Alliance ambush. Alphonse and Edgar were rather close.
Cédric Charon II - 27 - Alive - Eldest son and Heir of House Charon, a fearsome swordsman far surpassing his father. Weilder of Thunderbrand, and hand of any Alliance forces.

Personality:
Alphonse takes a lot after his father, a warrior of action and honor, someone who doesn't concern themselves with political matters such as crests or blood. He treats everyone with the same respect, or disrespect depending on how you treat him. He's often seen as a focused and straightforward individual, though the young man isn't without his quirks. Alphonse enjoys pastimes that seem degrading for a noble, such as chopping wood, hauling heavy objects around, and generally doing tasks for a servant. He says it helps clear his mind when something's bothering him, and something always bothering him since the untimely death of his brother.

Alphonse harbors a lot of hatred and disappointment for himself from growing up in the shadows of his brothers, he believes if he was skilled and faster then his brother would still be alive. This hatred both drives him to become stronger, but it also forces him to do rather stupid and reckless acts in order to prove himself, even though in reality he doesn't need to prove himself to his father or his brothers, he already has enough talents inherited by his mother that he hasn't discovered yet.

Boons x4:
Swords
Axes
Heavy armor
Reason

Budding Talent:
Flying

Weaknesses x2:
Riding
Lances

Inventory:
Training sword
Training Weights

Goals:
Alphonse wants to follow his brothers and join them against the Alliance, though deep down he hates the war in general. Eventually Alphonse will discover his own strength in his mothers strength and constitiution and his fathers skill and speed, become a hero, a warrior balanced in both defence and attack

Name: Maybell Celine Beiristal

Appearance: 9 times of 10, she would stick to the traditional Monastery uniform of a black jacket and white long sleeved sweatshirt, and a matching black skirt with white stockings that ended at the thighs. For unique flavor, she often wears a Lotus flower barrette in her long brunette hair, and an elbow-long glove on her left hand, marking her laterality.

Age: 17

Story: Hearing the tales of Garreg Mach and the Church of Seiros was all but easy for the young future noblewoman. Hearing the tales of their deeds was as common as water, and the divisions between Faerghus, Leicester, and the many sides of the time worn story would be what prompts her to join the Monastery, but it was not that alone.
With no relatives or friends to serve as alumni to the monastery, she wondered if it was possible for her to be the first "someone" from House Beiristal who would enroll. There would also be her endless curiosity of whether or not the rumors or information that she heard so many times in her life, would be true, false, or a mix in between. Before she would eagerly await an invitation to the Monastery, she did some work in keeping the town at peace with her work on the bow and arrow, and a slight boon to her magical abilities after finding out about a wind spell that she accidentally cast in response to a surprise mugging, which she quickly and effectively played off. From there, a spectator who had seen her efforts had let slip that he had recommended her to the monastery, and from there, her path in history would be paved.

Personality: Years of hearing nothing but speculation for Faerghus drove her to have a "Believe it when I see it" sort of attitude. One that she quickly hides with her calm demeanor and drive to set a good example for her name. What she harbors, however, is that despite her slight distaste at the battles that go on, she trained in, and prices herself on her abilities in ranged combat, whether it is magical or physical.

Strengths: Bows, Reason, Faith

Weaknesses: Flying, Riding, Authority, Brawling

Hidden Talent: None.

Goals: To find the truth of the instability between the kingdoms.... Also, to be the first of her house to go through Garreg Mach.
