Fandom Final Fantasy 7 Cloud X Jessie (Default and Peaches)

There was nothing Jessie Rasberry wanted more than to be an actress but fate prevented her from becoming one. After what happened to her father she decided to join Avalanche along with her close friends to save the environment. Jessie was going to find Cloud the mercenary that the group hired and who used to be in Solider which was useful. She carried a duffel bag with her equipment over her shoulder and scanned the crowd of people tapping her foot hoping to see Cloud so then they could get on the train at the station for their mission. Jessie thought to herself that maybe Cloud did not know about their mission and sighed.

“Cloud where are you?” Jessie asked out loud and began to search for any signs of the mercenary. Knowing him he was probably hanging out somewhere alone and she was going to have to round him up to go on their mission together to destroy that power plant reactor. She did not tell Biggs or Wedge about what they going to do since she kind of wanted to be alone with Cloud for this to get to know him a little better.

Biggs was sitting on the train with Tifa, Wedge, and Barret waiting for the two to show up and they would surprise them with their appearance. They wanted to tag along because why not and plus they could use the help. Barret crossed his arms while he waited for them to show up he would have money for Cloud to pay him off after. He suspected that Jessie had a thing for the merc although the girl would never admit it to him or Wedge. Cloud was not the caring type or not yet.

“You guys all set?” Barret asked Tifa, Biggs, and Wedge making sure they were ready to blow up a reactor and fight their way through solider. The man looked around making sure they were not being watched.

Cloud had anticipated his contract with Avalanche to be completed and forgotten as soon as they had taken down the first reactor. That was the plan he’d agreed to, no more and no less. But it seemed Avalanche, fate, and then some just didn’t want him to be done here just yet. Following the mission completed, he’d been coaxed back to the bar and hideout of Avalanche located in sector 7 slums. Where he’d wound up completing other odd jobs; not necessarily his thing, but with the promos of gil he was a bit forgiving. Being that social had to come with a cost, after all. And perhaps saying no to his childhood friend was just pushing the cold demeanor too far.

Thus is how his current mission wound up becoming a party of two to infiltrate the next power plant, not particularly given any other choice by Jessie. As long as he was paid appropriately, he could bear it. And this far they had proven trustworthy with payments, if only a little odd with them too.

Their plan was simple enough, but the merc had found himself a tad behind. Unusual as if was for the Merc, it did happen with his tendency to become standoffish, but he was at least on his way once he’d gotten track of time. It did seem it was enough for a certain someone to have gone looking for him. It wasn’t hard to locate him, with the murmuring on someone with a large sword making his way through the upper city.

On the train, Tifa and Wedge had joined their friends in a decision to tag along with Jessie and Cloud. It had been Wesge that found out about the mission and brought it up, and things had gone from there. Tifa, looking over at Barret, have a nod and soft hum. “Of course.”
“Always!” Came Wedge’s enthusiastic reply. “As soon as zjessie and Cloud get on board, it’ll be a smooth run!” Giving a thumbs up, he expressed confidence in his teammates.

Jessie just followed the murmurs of people seeing a man with the giant sword. Jessie hoped Cloud would work with her again since she did enjoy having him but did not know if he liked her. Well he saved her once so maybe the man did not hate her, well Jessie was going to try and get him out of his shell. She seemed like someo ne who would not fit being a eco terrorist but she had the know how and training.

She leaned against a wall crossing her arms seeing a glimpse of a man with a giant sword on his back and nodded knowing who it was. She began to walk up to him holding her duffel bag which was not a good idea to have but she would smuggle it through the checkpoint or use her skill of acting to get it past. A patrol of Solider soldiers walked past glancing at Cloud and Jessie but did not recognize the two thankfully.

'Cloud are you ready?" Jessie asked him after the patrol had passed them, "the train will leave soon so we need to get a move on ok? Do you want me to pay you right now or later?"

Jessie was not naive enough Cloud would work for free since at the end of the day he was a Merc. But she did hope the experience would help open him up since he was interesting and she was into bad boys a little. She was not expecting the crew to join them but if they do they do and that will mean more help.

Having to be fairly cautious of the ground soldiers above ground, Cloud had his attention focused on those with the uniforms more so than he did civilians. Especially considering he’d had one incident with them, it was surprising a second didn’t occur. But not unwelcome, it was easier to save the fighting for inside the reactor. A hand coming up to graze the handle of his sword here and there when a gaze lingered for just a moment too long on him. A small sigh leaving his lips when he spotted Jessie coming toward him, albeit averting his eyes once he’d seen the duffel bag with her. His arms crossing over his chest while they waited on the patrol to pass, returning his attention to her. Nodding once and letting his arms rest back at his side.

“Mhm. I’m ready.. you can pay once we’re finished.” He trusted Jessie enough to keep her end of the deal. “Let’s go.” Another curt nod and Cloud was leading off to the train station.

Jessie would normally comment on Cloud not giving a greeting to her but they were late. She walked alongside him and shifted her duffle bag to her other shoulder, it had a bomb it it but Jessie was smart enough to not draw attention to herself and Cloud knew to as well. The actress was unusually quiet for most of the way there but that could just be because of the patrols going around. Jessie was not about to pick a fight with Solider and internally panicked when a gaze was on her, she kept her cool though and kept walking.

"So no how have you been Jessie?" Jessie asked teasing him a little bit, "what about you Cloud? What have you been up to since- you know the- the party." Jessie said that to not draw suspicion. Jessie then walked onto the platform waiting for him.
