Name -
Hana

Age-
16

Role -
Youngest Princess of the east

Powers -
She can heal taking the life force from plant life, but she has to sleep for days afterwards. She can also conjure flowers....

Likes-
Animals, flowers, rain, sweets

Dislikes-
Mean people, being made fun of, being bossed around

Fears-
Dark, thunder, her arranged marriage, mice,

Strengths (Personalty wise)-
major strengths would be the fact that she would protect her family as much as she could, she would have no problem using her powers even if it means she has to sleep for days especially for families in trouble. When she loves, she loves with her whole heart and nothing less.

Weaknesses (Personalty wise)-
her weakness would be the fact that she is the youngest in her family, she has grown up very spoiled and it can often be seen if things don't happen her way. Despite her kind heart and willingness to help, sometimes that spoiledness piques its head through. She is also very excitable and very energetic which can either be a good thing or bad thing depending on the situation, the reason it is her weakness is due to the fact she will run headfirst into danger without thinking about the consequences.
She is also a a bit of a narcoleptic, which has caused her a lot of trouble especially during her lessons or anything like that. (She also can talk way too much)

Bio -
Hana is the youngest of her family, when she was born it was actually a surprise as the Queen wanted to be done after she had her son and surprise she had another daughter. She was not disappointed as she had always dreamed about having another daughter, but unfortunately it put a huge strain on her body and Hana had to be raised by a maid instead of her mother and for most of her life she did lack that parental figure, luckily she had three older siblings who she would follow around and learn from.

Bio-
As the oldest child of the Western Kingdom, even if on a year seperates her and her younger brother Deems, she was held to the expectations you would expect, but without the desired reward. She did not receive the love and affection a child should from their parents, and she was isolated from her siblings as she was forced through schooling. It was not an ideal life, no, but it was one that suited Aeryn. She excelled in her basic schooling at a very young age, and advanced quickly. At only the age of 9 she began partaking in war games with her father. During this, she would also be learning ettiqite, how to dance, and play the game, so to speak. Her mother quickly realized her young daughter had a knack for court.

As the years went on, Aeryn was still isolated from her siblings, but her relation with all of them managed to grow. She was jealous of Deems because he was going to take the throne she so desperately wanted, which would put a strain on their relationship, but she loves all her siblings. Anyway, at the age of 16, she was sent to the Northern front to serve after years of combat training. She doesn't two years in service, moving from the Northern front to the Southern front, before returning home at the age of 18. Afterwards, she took a seat on her father's war council, the Western forces in both the North and South seeing an increase in victories almost over night.

As of late, she has began giving basic school lessons to the servant's childern, while shes kept her seat on the war council, and is her mother spymaster. She has tried to patch things up up with her siblings futhur, and has started helping her father in his old age with some of the affairs of the kingdom. It has given her a taste of power she knows she will not get unless something happens to her father's oppioin or her brothers, but she doesn't want to harm any of them. And then of course, the Western kingdom received the message from the Middle Kingdom.

Name-
Deems (Demetrius formally)

Age-
22

Role-
Eldest Prince of the West Kingdom

Powers-
Can create a thunderous storm with his focused mind, and control the size and direction. Naturally, the larger and more powerful the storm, the more it takes out of him. He needs time to regain his abilities, as this isn't something he can do frequently. Once he uses his power he doesn't become an invalid, he is just unable to use his powers for some time.

Likes-
Deems enjoys hiking through any sort of terrain, as it clears his mind and gets him away from the palace. Deems enjoys writing poetry secretly and he never shares his work with anyone. Deems spends plenty of his free time people watching from the shadows, especially the training knights and guards, but the bustling kitchen is entertaining as well on feast nights. His time alone is something he would probably go mad without. In a person, Deems likes someone who can follow his train of thought and his orders. Honesty and respect is something he values and appreciates highly.

Dislikes-
Deems doesn't like when he has to interact with the citizens or even other royalty, being a man who needs his privacy. He doesn't appreciate the high pedestal being royalty puts him on, though it has it's perks at times. Being interrupted is something that will really tick him off, though he will probably just bite his tongue and not say anything. He doesn't like being put on the spot, being challenged, or being demeaned in anyway. Deems isn't fond of sweets either, or someone refusing to call him by his shortened name.

Fears-
His greatest fear is the future. He can't get over the fact that his life has been mapped out for him, and that the things the future holds may not be as far off as they seem... he'll often deny the future, and certainly prefers to be in the moment.

Weaknesses (personality wise)-
lacks the ability to let others take control, and at times has a hard time dealing with the demands of others. He's a bit self centered, though he tries to help his kingdom. He can also overreact at times, though generally he is shut off emotionally.

Strengths (personality wise)-
Deems is great when it comes to logic and strategy, though has leadership qualities, he lacks the ability to empathize with the people, and this makes him only a great strategist. He feels a duty to his kingdom, despite the fact he did not want to be born as a prince, he is one and he won't let his kingdom down. He values loyalty and honesty, as well as respect, and gives that in turn to everyone else.

Bio-

Born into the role of future king, Deems has been conditioned into the person, the ruler, he should be over the years. Starting at a young age, just like his sister Aeryn before him, he was schooled and given lessons on courtly and royal life, in addition to what he'll need to be a great ruler. Always the subject of his father's praise, he can't help but feel like this has distanced him from his siblings. His father sees potential in all of them, no doubt, but is that all he can see? All Deems can see him as is a man who wants them all to be the continuation of the legacy that he started, and that means for him, the crown. Which Deems is not even wanting, or deserving of, in his mind.

Deems thinks that Aeryn would be much better suited, and that she deserves the role, but he still can't let go of what his father's vision has always been. Now, as the future and decisions which could change his life have never been so close, and he's trying to avoid all of it. Deems wants to get away from the future lain out before him, but he isn't sure what he wants. Just anything but a throne and thousands counting upon him. He knows he's a coward for wanting to back out of the role of king, but he has no reason to take it. Nonetheless, it's his duty, and he feels as though for the people of his future kingdom, he needs to fulfill it. Even if he isn't suited for the crown... But once he has the throne, he can do whatever he'd like, so who says that he can't have the life he wants?

Age- 17

Snow
Joking around
Horseback riding

Small spaces

Weaknesses (Personalty wise)-
Depends too much on others
Aimless
Childish

Strengths (Personalty wise)-
Loyal
Caring
Modest

Bio -
Celeste had a much easier childhood than her older siblings. Being fourth in line for the throne, she wasn’t put under as much rigorous training. Growing up seeing so much work being put in by her older siblings she began to admire them, especially her older sister, Aeryn. But, she could never be as serious as her siblings. It made life so boring! She often teased her siblings, hoping to make them smile.

Watching her older siblings go through so much training, she felt almost jealous. Her parents didn’t pay her as much attention because she would never touch the throne. This left her confused about her future. What was she supposed to do? Her parents didn’t seem interested in teaching her the workings of the crown. Celeste is left overall feeling lost about her life.

There he learned all about war, weapons, serving his country and military strategy. He was founded as a prodigy in war and an innovator of various tactics. "My mind may lose its force, my blood its fire,
And my frame perish even in conquering pain,
But there is that within me which shall tire

Torture and Time, and breath when I expire."

Appearance:
393fffe055a190b1460c70f921a9280e.jpg

((6'5" | 215 lbs))
Broad-shouldered and intimidating, the Knight is no small man with small duties. He takes himself with utmost sincerity, something that reflects itself in the scars he's gathered from active service and a physique he's fought hard for. A swarthy tan compliments light brown hair, his irises a hot-blooded amber which rises above two impressive cheekbones and sharp, bearded jaw. Well-groomed and filled with a stern sense of being, it's only when he's off duty you may find him in a loose tunic -- however, he hardly seems the sort of man who is ever truly off duty. A heavy brow is emphasised by a straight, intellectual nose; hands large and coarse from utilising weapons and hand-to-hand, whilst nicks and scratches litter his complexion.

Name:
Sir Lawrence Llewellyn

Age:
27

Role:
Knight to the Kingdom of the West

Powers:
No powers, but trained to be a master swordsman and excellent tactician. Besides these, he has succeeded in all skills required for knighthood, even spending time reciting religious scripture in his youth to strengthen his faith in the crown.

Likes:
+ Intelligent and thoughtful conversation.
+ Astronomy and stargazing, he can tell you almost every constellation.
+ Hot drink on a cold day, especially warm mead or cider.
+ Hunting in his off time, which often leads him to accompany royalty on hunts.
+ Horseriding, especially considering the bond to his own warhorse.
+ Winter and autumn, the crisp air and frost are irreplaceable.

Dislikes:
- Traitors and wretches who go against the crown.
- Yellow-bellied cowards who succumb to their own fear.
- Ignorance and narrow-mindedness.
- Lawbreakers and scoundrels.
- Useless violence and unneeded loss of life.

Fears:
- Losing those he loves.
- Failing those he's sworn to protect and aid.
- Having his men die on his watch, or otherwise suffer for his bad decisions.
- Being a bad leader.
- That one day, he will die without having accomplished anything of note.

Weaknesses:
- Stubborn and bullheaded, he often makes a stance and keeps it meaning it's hard to bring himself to apologise on most occasions.
- Hot-headed with a mighty temper, his anger is an all-consuming blizzard. The only time he'd ever attack or threaten someone, however, is if the person in particular, began to get under his skin.
- Cursed with blind loyalty and takes people at face value for in simplicity he believes lies the truth.

Strengths:
+ Charismatic and dashing in his own quiet way, there is a humble lesson to be learned from his dedication and humour in his eyes.
+ A gentle man, but not a man to be pushed over by just any old stranger. He's a strong, vivacious character who holds an intense passion for his work.
+ Honest and genuine, he wears his heart on his sleeve and has it battered. But there is nothing else he'd prefer. What you see, is what you get.
+ Generally, Lawrence thinks with a fair amount of logic and has learned strategy as part of his prerequisite skills for Knighthood.

Bio:
His father was a knight to the West, his father's father was a knight to the West, and Lawrence would be too. Following in the footsteps of great men under the impression that he too, would join them someday to look over the family, immortalised in stained glass above the ancestral chapel. The Llewellyn family has owned lands and lordships in their time, but as if ever the staple, they are fighting men. Upon Lawrence's birth, he was fed from the tip of a sword and sworn into a career he never thought to question. From the age of seven, he was a page boy in the Western palace (as is tradition) meanwhile his training began. Climbing, swimming, reading and writing. He was educated in his fists, blades, bows, and spears.

At fourteen he was squired to his father, meaning the boy was taken out into the field. The stress and anger he encountered imprinted itself on the lad. He developed violent outbursts, curbed by his father to ensure his son wouldn't do anything reckless. One cannot go against a lifetime of planning, not even a person of his freedoms. Lawrence suffered getting struck to the head during one of these skirmishes and retains the scar beneath his fringe, shaped like a curved suturing needle.

He has been around the palace his entire life, the centre of everything. He's fought in battles, skirmishes on the borders, earned his right to be counted among his family tree with pride. Yet to take a child so young, like many knights had been, shaped them into people who didn't think beyond their leader was right. He developed camaraderie and skill in the social field, yet even now he carries the images of what war is and how it has changed him. For better or worse. Waking up, there is nothing more than running from the barracks around the palace grounds to wake himself and wash the filth of memories from his head. Weakness is not for men. Not for men like him.

Llewellyn has developed a kind acquaintance with most the royal family, being friendly with the youngest princess' lady-in-waiting. Being him, the idea of pairing the heirs off is abominable considering some of the kingdoms and the characteristics. Thus, Law is even more intent on protecting the family.

  • 1548796876571.png Name: Ryden

    Age: 22

Role: Eldest Daughter of the Southern Kingdom and designated ruler alongside her brother

    Powers:
    • - Conjuration: Summoning fire out of thin air for her use
    • - Manipulation of any source of flame or heat
    • - High resistance to heat

    Bio:
When Ryden was first conceived, her parents originally thought they were having a son and preemptively named her Ryden, traditionally a male name. Though, when they found out it was a girl instead, they chose to keep the name they had given the child, knowing that one day, she would grow up to fill the shoes of her parents, leading the kingdom of the South.

Growing up, Ryden wasnt much of a "pretty princess" type of person. She always found more enjoyment walking around with the people, experiencing and walking their way of life. Whenever she had the chance, she would spend her time in the central plaza, walking through the street market and getting to know the faces that frequented the plaza. While she concerned herself with the people, she left her brothers to worry and concern themselves with the military. It wasn't that she had no sympathy to them, but it was purely because her brothers were more passionate with the military than her.

Other times when she wasnt out in public, she was practicing controlling her abilities in private, usually in the courtyard of the castle. Ryden was one of the very few who had the ability to conjure fire out of will, let alone manipulate it. Over the years, she had refined her skills and mastery of the element, performing small tricks most thought to be highly difficult with ease.

Aside from magic, Ryden is also well trained in sword and weapon-based combat. She's always seen with a special sword made for her which featured a guard-less hilt and a slim profile, making the sword rather light. The metal was strong however, strong has a large broadsword. No one knows how the sword was forged, but many speculated it was made from magics.

Name -
Aster Lowell

Age-
51

Role -
Lady in waiting/caretaker of Princess Hana

Powers -
None

Likes-
Seeing those she cares for happy, taking care of her lady and her other duties is what bring her true happiness. Aster likes being surprised occasionally, yet she most of all loves serving and helping others, less and more fortunate than herself. Her hobbies include weaving, sewing, and having stories read to her aloud as her eyesight is failing. She enjoys it when Hana or others come to her for advice.

Dislikes-
The wars and skirmishes that are happening along the borders, and any threats or intruders to the castle. She doesn't see the need for the fighting, and the fact that she can be so close to the action scares her quite a bit. Anyone who acts rude or doesn't have respect for others she silently disapproves of, though her standing prevents her from saying anything. She disapproves of gossip and ill wishers to anyone, but in particular her princess.

Fears-
She fears that she'll end up being caught in the fighting one day or that someone will threaten or attempt an assassination on her lady or another member of the royal family. Aster is also scared that when she dies she will leave Hana alone and without someone to rely on as a mother figure, having raised her like her own she also fears any harm falling upon the young Princess.

Weaknesses (Personalty wise)-
Aster won't share her opinions and always keeps things to herself, never complains. Which can be a disadvantage as her input might be valuable in some situations. Aster's quite stubborn in some situations despite the fact that she will obey her superiors. She is a bit narrow minded as well, and believes in tradition.

Strengths (Personality wise)-
Aster has a great loyalty to the royals of the east and has a strong sense of duty, she would defend her lady with her life despite her old age and her lack of fighting ability. Aster can be witty at some points and always thinks before she speaks. Aster provides excellent emotional support and advice. She does her best to support and care for everyone, no matter what path in life they take.

Bio -

Growing up the daughter of a slave, she was born into rough treatment and long days of laborious work. Aster was freed during the chaos of defining the kingdoms, and made her escape to the eastern kingdom as a young woman. Living out on the streets with no food or shelter, Aster turned to the new King for help. He granted her a position in the castle and she was ever thankful and in debt to the merciful king, who took in many beggars to the service of the castle. Once trained as a servant in the laundry, she was eventually promoted over the years to a position sewing, mending, and designing clothes in the royal wardrobe. Spending many a day with the Queen, Hana's mother, the two became close and had a bond of sorts. Once Aster heard that she was with child once more, she was ecstatic and made a promise to her and the King to take a role in the upbringing of their final child at the Queen's request. After the harsh birthing the Queen went through, Aster took on the role of mother and caretaker for little Hana. Raising the young princess and taking care of her other siblings as well, Aster earned the respect and high place in the royal household, despite her origins.

Angeline (Angel)
Name: Angeline [AN-juh-leen] - Her nickname is Angel (pronounced the usual way) (up to the siblings whether they want to call her that, but everyone else calls her Princess Angeline)
Age: 16
Role: Youngest princess of the kingdom of the North
Powers: Her powers are pretty simple; she can manipulate ice, as in move it and shape it. She's not strong enough to create ice out of thin air; however, she can freeze water (although it'll be more difficult to freeze hot water). She has an eye for detail, often shaping exquisite ice carvings. She's also more resistant to the cold than the average person.

Likes:
  • People with a mischievous streak; or people she feels can hold their own
  • Ice-carving
  • Pineapple tarts
  • Card games and board games
  • Playing the piano
  • Playing in the snow
  • Baking - but she doesn't eat most of what she bakes, due to her dislike of sweets and desserts; instead, she bakes for her siblings - to her frustration, she can't seem to bake pineapple tarts that reach her standard hence she usually has to request them from the servants
Dislikes:
  • Anyone who mistreats her siblings
  • Queen Jade, to a certain extent, because she was the one who ordered the arranged marriages
  • All sweets and desserts - except pineapple tarts; she adores those
  • Vigorous exercise
  • Jazz music
Fears:
  • Fire (even though she does have ice powers, her phobia of fire is unnaturally high)
  • Losing her siblings - not just their deaths, but also splitting apart from them after their marriages; she dreads it and is afraid she won't be able to cope without them
Weaknesses (personality-wise):
  • Can be too reckless at times
  • Can be very stubborn, particularly with people apart from her siblings
  • Frequently breaks the rules (usually doesn't get caught, though) or goes against protocol
Strengths (personality-wise):
  • Extremely loyal to her siblings and protective of them (will usually take revenge on those who mistreat her siblings in any way by pranking them or something similar)
  • Very cunning and resourceful; also a talented actress - she acts very sweet in front of strangers and those who don't know her well; the servants that work closely with the siblings know her mischievous side. (Some think it's cute, some think she's just childish and should grow up soon)
  • Courageous and willing to stand up for what she believes in; also very determined and hardworking (but only for what she likes or wants to do)
  • Free-spirited; watching her can bring a smile to most people's faces

Bio:
As the youngest in the family, Angel quickly learnt something: if you’re nice, if you’re sweet, people tend to give you what you want. As such, she started playing the role of the perfect, sweet, innocent angel; people started talking about how she fit her name so perfectly. It wasn’t as devious as it sounded though; she was a nice girl - most of the time.

There were a few instances in which Angel was...well, not an angel. When one of the noble’s sons shoved her brother Prince Kieran (aged 10 then), that boy found himself constantly slipping on spots of grease over the next few days. Every time the boy went complaining to his nursemaid, they could find no signs of anything that could’ve made the boy fall. Some concluded that the boy had probably just been running in the corridors, and dismissed it. Similar cases occurred, though not often enough for people to connect the dots.

Even when there were a few times Angel was caught near the scene of the crime, nobody ever suspected her. How could sweet, lovely Princess Angeline have done anything bad?

Her siblings all know about this side of hers, of course. The family’s closest royal advisor also knows, and chastises her sometimes, but because she hasn’t done anything truly harmful, and she only does such things when someone wrongs her siblings, he gives her some leeway. Besides that, all the others don’t know about her facade (with the exception of just a few servants who adore her for her loyal-yet-petty side).

Sometimes though, Angel can be pretty brutal about things. When speaking to her siblings, she speaks very bluntly. If it’s something that they need to hear but may hurt them, she’ll do it anyways. Also, when it comes to defending her kingdom and her family, almost any measures are acceptable for her. Regarding war, she doesn’t take pleasure in random, innocent killings, but if going to war is in the best interest of her kingdom, she would be all for it. She would even volunteer to go into battle herself if it meant she could help protect her family and kingdom. However, if asked to choose between her family and her kingdom in a critical situation, she’d choose her family, no questions asked - but her heart would break at betraying her kingdom.

Since Angel doesn’t have as many royal duties, she sometimes offers to help with her siblings’ work - although most of the time, she’ll use the time to go down to the kitchens (despite the servants’ constant protests) and bake something for them to eat during their breaks.

She can also fight using daggers - something she learnt in her self-defense classes. She's not excellent at it though; her skills are just acceptable.

Theia
Name: Theia [THEE-a]
Age: 22
Role: Lady-in-waiting to the youngest princess of the kingdom of the West (Celeste)
Powers: N/A

Likes:
  • Honest, straightforward people
  • Apple cider and wine (but she rarely gets to drink them)
  • Summer, and the warmth of the sun on her skin
  • Chamomile tea
  • Washing dishes - it calms her
Dislikes:
  • Abusive people (whether towards people or animals, and whether physical or verbal) - she absolutely loathes them; if she sees such a case, she'll try to step in to stop them, but if they look like they'll hit her, her fear kicks in. She'll try to stand her ground, but she can be seen trembling.
  • Ice cream
  • Coffee
  • Spicy food
Fears:
  • Being beaten (it dredges up memories of her childhood)
  • Snakes
Weaknesses (personality-wise):
  • Horrifyingly socially awkward; she's shy and speaks softly, and when she speaks, she sounds uncomfortable - she seems to have gotten comfortable with the usual phrases, though, such as "Yes, Your Highness", "As you wish, Your Highness,", etc
  • Bad at reading people; she'll only recognize people's emotions if they're shown very, very obviously
Strengths (personality-wise):
  • She has a quiet courage about her; even though she's shy, she's sure of her own opinions and firm in her principles - her courage fades, however, when faced with the threat of being beaten or similar
  • Hardworking and persistent
  • Even though she's awful at comforting people, she won't leave anyone upset alone if she can help it

Bio: She was born in the kingdom of the South to a middle-class family. Her parents argued often, and they often beat her, their only child. As she got older, they beat her less, and their arguments decreased. Perhaps it was due to age. Perhaps it was because both parents had just given up on the relationship, and were both seeing someone else. When Theia reached the age of 17, her parents finally decided to divorce. When asked which parent she wanted to follow, Theia made up her mind to just move out of the kingdom entirely, and start over. She didn't really have a good reason for it; she just had a strong desire to get out, to get away. So she packed her bags. She lived in the east side of the Southern Kingdom, and since she wanted to get as far away as possible, she headed for the kingdom of the West.

After arriving in the Western Kingdom, getting a job wasn't easy. She only knew how to cook and sew, having to cook her own meals and patch up her own clothing from a young age. Even then, her cooking and sewing skills were merely at an acceptable level. A gruff innkeeper took her in, however. He gave her a room upstairs, and allowed her to work in the pub downstairs. When she tried to pay him for the room and meals, he refused to take her money. He also taught her various domestic skills, especially cooking and sewing.

After about a year, Theia heard that the palace was hiring servants. Feeling guilty for imposing on the innkeeper all this time, she took the job and left the inn, promising to visit when she can. She started as a mere maid, and after 3 years, she was appointed lady-in-waiting to the youngest princess. It's been a year or so since then. She seems to have also gained feelings for Princess Celeste, but she has not uttered a word of it to anyone. She's also become good friends with Sir Lawrence; they drink together when they can.

Pyroportation -teleport or move though fire.

quietness, reading, being alone and music
Dislikes-
chaos, overly loud noises, being disturbed when reading and war

losing her family, getting married, losing control of her powers

Weaknesses (Personalty wise)-
she is very timid and shy, she hates to meet new people and does not like the idea of getting married at all.

Strengths (Personalty wise)-
she is very smart, if she concentrates really hard she can control her powers very well, but if she's put in a position of discomfort she loses all control.

Bio -
Erica is the youngest daughter of the southern kingdom, she loves her siblings very much but prefers to spend most of her time alone and reading books. She has to be at total peace for the most part or she loses control of her powers. One time when she was little and learning about her powers the whole kingdom became panicked when she disappeared after using her pyroportation for the first time and teleporting herself into the middle of nowhere. It took them days to find her and when they did oddly enough she was not scared, but losing control of her powers is something that terrifies the young princess.

Beaufort
He goes by Beau.
Only people looking for mortal enemies will call him his full name.
Unless he loves that person, in which case it just makes him grumpy.

|Age|
18
|Role|
Youngest Prince of the East
|Power|
They call him the plant whisperer!
It seems that with a touch he can determine a lot about a plant life form, from its health to what kind of medicinal properties it holds. An added bonus? Just him speaking around a plant can rejuvenate it. He'll make a great farmer if this whole arranged marriage thing doesn't work out!

|Likes|
-Order, Justice, and a strong government!
-His sisters
-Women (who doesn't?)
-Other powerful monarchs
-His family
-Plants (Duh!)
-Sarcasm
-Random Acts of Kindness (Always a shocker!)
-Logic/Analytical Thinking (And anything that requires it.)

|Dislikes|
-His family
-Winter
-His full name (Dear god, what were they thinking?)
-Cruelty
-Disorganization, laziness, and lack of rules
-"Simpleton" behaviors (Or rather, acting beneath your class)
-Being called uptight

|Fears|
-Anything happening to his family. | Despite his occasionally prickly attitude, he loves his blood fiercely. He would fight for them to the death.
-In the case that Marius can not, being forced to take the crown. | Even though he acts like the golden child when it comes to affairs of the state, he secretly loathes it and never wants to be in a position of power for himself, which is more of a reason for why he respects powerful monarchs.
-Disappointing his parents. | He felt like he had to step up as the perfect royal child in place of his more free-spirited siblings.
-War. | While he respects the ideals of war for what they offer, it terrifies him to think of the aftermath. He's been gnawing on his bottom lip for months, thinking about all the consequences of the arranged marriages falling through.

He has a recurring nightmare that he is crowned king and they announce him as "Royal Majesty King Beaufoooooort" to the entire kingdom. He really hates his name.

|Strengths|
-Politics | He studies quite a bit.
-Compassionate | Again, a shocker to most, but he's actually very caring.
-Mature | Beau is very grown up for his age. He puts a lot of pressure on himself.
-Diligent/Hardworking
-Loyal/Protective
-Realistic | Well, maybe more pessimistic, but he sees this as a good thing.

|Weaknesses|
-Women | The boy is not smooth. At all.
-Puts up a front | He's always paranoid about being himself, and he's always holding back something.
-Temper | Oh, he may act regal, but he can be rather hotheaded! Sometimes the steaming is just boiling under the surface.
-Overly selfless | Beau often gives too much of himself away.
-Perfectionist/Overthinker | He gets a bit unraveled if things aren't going according to plan.
-Can be overly critical.
-A bit narrowminded on the topic of social class.

|Biography|

Beau was a quiet, observant child. He grew up to understand certain "truths" about his family dynamics. He wanted so desperately to please his parents and do the right thing all the time. He studied a lot growing up, which left little time for friendships, thus he grew up to be a bit asocial, and became poor at communicating his feelings to others. He grew up to be very taken by his adorable little sister, and would constantly be "caring" for her and looking out for her as a child. He wanted to fill the role as "big brother" well. His life has always consisted of answers to the question, "what can I do for him/her/them?" Looking back on his childhood, he spent almost all of it trying to make someone other than himself happy. He's only recent come to terms with that fact, and still isn't sure how to feel about it.

Bio - Being born the third child Alexius was always in the middle of things, disputes, arguments or debates. So he started to interfere and join in on the conversation or debate, eventually finding a passion for it. Even at a very young age His Father always had his focus on his older brother, Demetrius and his mother was more focused on his older sister. This was because he was the dark horse of the family, his father thought of him as a coward who wouldn't go to battles like his older siblings and his mother just never paid any thought to him. But the prime minister, his father's advisor, saw worth in him and when Alexius was 12 the prime minister asked the king if he could take Alexius as an apprentice. His father didn't care enough and allowed him. Alexius would alternate between learning about economics from prominent merchants and learning about politics and how to appease the parliament. While his sister was in the military at age 16 and his brother starting to rule at the age of 16, Alexius was being introduced into the political world and debating in parliament at age 16. He joined the Royalist Party in parliament and served as a barrier for his family from any heat the opposition wanted to throw at them. He was very popular with the people for being both a royal member and a very innovative man, proposing policies to parliament that all would impact the economy in a very positive way. He is usually very affectionate to his family but is also usually busy due to his trying to advocate for any policies or motions to help his brother and sister in providing the money and troops needed for the war effort. When he was 20 he replaced his old mentor as leader of his party and ran for Prime Minister to help his brother even more from the discontent parliament. This was until the message from the Queen of the Middle Kingdom came.

Name: Hyunjae "Jae"

Age: 25

Role: eldest princess and child of the north

Powers:
  • Ice Creation: she can create Ice out of her bare hands and with or without a source.
  • Ice Manipulation: the created Ice is able to form. She is able to make sculptures and even ice-animals; those she can move. (For example she makes an Ice-bunny and whisper life into it, it'll behave like a real Bunny)
  • Freeze: She is able to freeze everything. Nothing more.
Likes:
  • Her little siblings
  • Her axe (it's weird I know...)
  • The Kingdom
  • Colors (especially red and blue)
  • Her great collection of knives
  • Making ice sculptures
  • Spending time with the maids, chefs and knights of their kingdom and drinking some wine.

Dislikes:
  • Letting her siblings go alone somewhere
  • The actual situation they're in
  • Daisies (other flowers are okay)
  • Insects
  • People who insult them and think women shouldn't be in such a position as hers.

Fears:
  • Letting her siblings get hurt (verbal and physical)
  • That her siblings are gone and never to be found again
  • The marriage of her siblings
  • Fire (she has a little trauma...)

Weaknesses (personality wise):
a little overprotective towards her siblings; the... (let's call it) titillating (provocative or salacious.. idc) clothes she'll always wear; a little stubborn; very calm until a certain point, if that happens run!; very cruel sometimes but most of the time really provocative towards people (especially males...)

Strength (personality wise):
Great memory; accepting and tolerant towards other people and her siblings; huge know-how of wars and fights; political and neutral; loving and caring like a mother; able to multitasking

Bio:
When she was born her parents actually expected a boy, but were very happy when it was her. Growing up as the oldest she had to learn how to fight; that's why she is excellent with the sword and axe (but she prefers fighting with her axe). She had to learn certain things from her parents.

When her younger siblings were born she was thrilled.
When they all were younger they would do everything together: playing, training, learning, bathing, etc.
But then surprisingly a boy was 'adopted' by her father. His name was Akira; since then both grew closer with every other day and Jae learned to look at him as a brother. Their bond was strong, but not as strong between her and her siblings (of course haha)

But after Angeline, the youngest of them all was born their bond kind of changed; Akira would be a knight and she a princess. He would always call her "your highness" or "your majesty".

Despite that, she mostly does the paperwork for her kingdom, since their old father is going to retire soon. Jae doesn't know about everything about what her father does.

Over time she learned about the cruel truth of the world they're living in. Trying to protect her little brothers and little sister she always did the fighting and tried to reassure them that they're great and mean the most to her, even more than her life itself.
She grew more and more into her role of the queen, even when she is a little too provocative. But one day she had a little incident with fire, where she was surrounded by it and wanted so desperately to escape it, she froze it. Her parents never told her siblings about that.
Now she gets informed of the arranged marriage and is furious (though nobody really notices that...)

Dislikes- thunder, dogs, guys that go on about how strong they are.

This meant Katja was left alone for long periods of time and has become fairly self sufficient, even if a little bit of a clutz. With the influx of nobles to the middle kingdom castle new staff has been brought in to help out and free up some of the more experienced staff to better serve their lords.

Strengths (Personalty wise):

Patient
Loyal

Bio:
Ognyan is a native to the south. He's the son to the village's leader. The village consisted of just a dozen meager structures by a river along with some surrounding farmsteads.Their fighting force was nothing more than some landowners and serfs who were expect to stop bandits. He never lived in a large castle or palace, but a small stone cottage with a wooden wall surrounding it. In his early years, he learnt mostly to hunt and read. His education also included some information, mostly from traders, about the kingdom to the north. He listened to merchants when they stopped by about new from the north. There were some daughters born into his family, but he remained the only son of his father.

When he was still young, the Southern King made his trek and establish a new kingdom in the south. In order to prevent future conflict between this new southern kingdom, his father swore fealty quite quickly to the new leader. To ensure his trust to the king, the villager leader gave his son, Ognyan, to serve in the king's court as a knight. He now found himself among a new royalty. Thankfully, the small amount of what he had learnt about the kingdom to the north would help him in interacting with the royalty. Ognyan adjusted quickly to the new royals, though he would spend some years still in training to be a knight.

The Knight soon came to meet Salazar, the younger prince of the Southern King. On initially meeting him, he found him to be violent, but expressive and passionate. They soon developed a friendship over time. In some years time, when Ognyan was fully grown, he would then be chosen to serve under the prince.

As a young knight, he decided to take upon some new works. With his knowledge of writing, Ognyan decided to do a rather big project: writing the history of the southern lands. History wasn't a new thing to his village, but it was a very poor one. The history was rather more about the ruling family of just his village and the adventures of its family members. The knight, disatisfied with what felt more like bedtime stories, planned to make a history about several other places within the Southern Kingdom. When he had time, he'd traveled to villages and ask them for their history, and wrote down was likely not legends while also trying to see how they might've connected with other villages' histories. He has started to write this, though the war has paused his work.

When the war broke out, he rode under the command of Salazar. He came to object some of his actions, as they were very brutal, but the knight remained loyal to his liege. He found himself in some troubles from time to time, once being nearly impaled by a spear if it wasn't for his shield. When a proposal for peace came about, he was rather relieved for some harmony again, though the knight was a little upset that it was more of a ceasefire than a surrender of the enemies. With the plan for a royal marriages between the kingdoms, he found it exiting to be meeting more people from other kingdoms without having to stab them. Now he's coming along with his liege and serving him and whomever the prince shall be marrying.

Bio - Casca is a very tall man. His origin is somewhat of a mystery. He is said to have appeared suddenly when a group of Southern Knights were ambushed by warriors from another kingdom. Despite being young at the time, he came to the aid of the soldiers and struck their enemies down in an instant before disappearing as quickly as he came. Ever since then, he'd often appear and warn nobles about anything from military tactics to assassination plots. Though grateful for the help at first, the nobles began to get suspicious regarding his involvement in the disasters he seemed to herald. The towering man was apprehended and intensely questioned. After it was determined that he'd done nothing wrong, he was offered a chance to become a knight, which he accepted. Given his preference for peaceful measures along with his height, He's gained a reputation as a Gentle Giant.

Name - Alaric, the Blazing Prince
The name Alaric combines the Germanic elements of "all" and "ruler", translating roughly to "ruler of all".
It's quite the fitting name for a prince.
He is also called 'Dragonkin', 'Child of Flames', and many other titles because of his gift.

Age- 20 years old

Role - Eldest Prince of the Southern Kingdom

Powers - Alaric has a gift of fire. He always has been fascinated by flames. Instead of burning, he finds them to tickle a little bit. The Prince can create flames at will, and even breathe them out. He likes to play with fire in his hands when bored, and Alaric will even try and wield his flames like a barrier to blaze up and try to prevent projectiles from hitting him. (Such as burning arrows and just getting flicked by a metal head) He's very aggressive with his abilities, and the more he feels- the more energy he'll release. Thus, when knocked unconscious, his flames are extinguished, but if he feels sad enough to cry, his flames roar with strength. Even when passed out, Alaric radiates warmth, making him a nice space heater on cold nights.
As strong as the prince seems, Alaric is vulnerable to the cold. It makes him sluggish and like a reptile slows him down enough that he'll even pass out if made cold enough. This is a good method to subdue him if things get out of hand.

Likes-
+ Alaric enjoys being warm, and often finds this by either sitting in a fire, or getting close to someone and cuddling them. He prefers to sit and not-chill, but if he needs to, he'll grab onto someone and cling to him.
+ Alaric enjoys spicy foods and tends to drown his meals in Tabasco sauce.
+ Dogs are this boy's best friend. If he could, he'd have eight. However, dog saliva makes him itch and break out into an allergic reaction, so Alaric is pup-less.
+ Alaric has always liked drawing. He isn't very good at it, but he tries.
+ Swordplay has always been something that Alaric enjoys. He's been training with the guards ever since he could lift a sword, specializing in use of the greatsword. A bigger, two handed, devastating blade. The only downside is its slow.
+ Who doesn't like a good sunny day?
+ Alaric enjoys playing around with his siblings. He's a teasing older brother, enjoying tussling with his younger siblings and teaching them the value of using a blade.
+ Dragons are a source of inspiration for Alaric, and he actually has a pet Faerie Dragon. She's a fairly passive creature, and enjoys cuddling Alaric, because he's so warm. The tittering creature's name is Carling. (Rhymes with "darling".) She's a curious and playful creature, acting more like a cat than anything. She will play fetch and likes to perch on heads. Shiny things fascinate her.
1549051935392.png

Dislikes-
- Alaric loathes rain, storms, and wintertime in general. The romantic kiss in the rain? He despises that. Thunderstorms? Yeah, he's hiding under the covers. Wintertime? He's screaming at his siblings to "CLOSE THE F###ING DOOR!"
- Being ordered around is one of Alaric's pet peeves. He's a prince, for crying out loud. He's supposed to order you around.
- People nosing around in his stuff. 'Nuff said.
- Alaric doesn't like having a messy room one bit. His space is usually fairly tidy, otherwise he can't find anything.
- The Prince is oddly modest, and dislikes walking around without his shirt or wearing shorts. He gets all blushy and weird about it.

Fears-
- Lightning doesn't exactly scare him, but Alaric does not like it one bit. It brings cold rain and the one time he was faced with an electromancer... well, he didn't like the paralyzing sensation of electricity going through him.
- Losing those he loves. Doesn't everyone?
- Falling is Alaric's final, worst fear. He really doesn't like heights. Even going out on a balcony. Glancing down is enough to get him nauseous.

Weaknesses (Personalty wise)- The Prince is brash and standoffish to others. He can be extremely guarded towards strangers, often quiet, and even shy with others. Alaric sees the worst in people, finding their flaws and voicing them. In his mind, its a good thing to Be honest- he just hasn't realized how to keep his mouth shut.

Strengths (Personalty wise) - Alaric is a devoted and loving sibling. He has this protective streak, making him that big brother that won't let anyone near his siblings. Okay, no, not that far. If someone made his sisters cry, he'd go and kick their butt for that. Someone broke his brother's heart, he'd take them out to his favorite places to help them feel better. Alaric will go out of his way to try and improve the moods of his siblings, loving his family more than anything in the world. Friends come and go, but His kin will always be there.

Bio - Alaric is the first born son his his Clan, and the Kingdom's pride and joy. He was a mischievous kid, wandering around and giving the servants playful cheek. However, this made others adore him more. Alaric loved being an only child and getting all the attention, but that came to a pause when his sister was born. Alaric loved his sibling from the moment he met her, even if she was annoying sometimes. He remembers their childhood fondly, surrounded by dragons and happiness. Alaric is known as 'Dragonkin' for his love of the creature and how he seemed more interested in them than in people. He always made time for his family, however, for they mean the world to him. As the promise of marriage draws closer, Alaric is becoming angrier and more distant. He's afraid for the future and what will happen if he refuses or accepts.

Name
Lady Achillea Tavashenko

__original_drawn_by_meto31__4a23a7118be6817de528d148ce1b69bc.jpg

Age
27

Role
Knight Paladin of the Northern Kingdom

Powers
Frostborn
- Achillea wields some limited power of magical essence. These powers involve the manipulation of frost and ice of varying degrees, ranging from making a cold drink to collecting moisture and coat her armour and weapon in a layer of hard crystallised ice. The ice, itself of magical properties, absorb damage from blows coming at her and eventually deplete over time, while Achillea's mighty war-hammer leaves shards of ice crystals in her foes.

Likes
-First and foremost, Achillea enjoys conversations. Good, intelligent, bad, doesn't matter. Being raised in discipline, the girl learned to appreciate proper discussions and banters alike.
-Foods and drinks are blessings, but the culinary art piques her interest a little more than that. She likes to cook and experiment with various spices and ingredients, especially the more exotic ones.
-A good brawl!
-The honourable, brave and dedicated.
-Honesty, it takes courage to devote to an honest life.
-History, myths and the lore of the land fascinates her.

Dislikes
-The cruel and the sadist, those who delights in violence.
-Dishonesty.
-Unnecessary violence.
-Unfairness.

Fears
-Lost of faith.
-Harm done to her close ones.

Strengths
As a paladin, Achillea's strengths are drawn from her virtues and the tenets she'd pledged herself to. Above all, the knight values honesty, fairness, courage and compassion, followed by other standards. She holds herself obligated to honour these chivalrous values, but doesn't expect the same from others. However, valuing compassion and being merciful and fair does not make one a pacifist. Achillea understands the necessity of violence at times - whether to protect the weak, uphold duties, or provoke change.
Her faith is strong, if not powerful and inspiring. Achillea holds herself as guardian of her faith, and live to embody the will of the deity she serves. She does services everyday, in the wee hours of early morning and at night, when she would meditate for roughly half an hour and enter a trance under the open sky. If for some reason she violates one of the holy tenets, Achillea would surely seek penance or redemption, and may even punish herself for it, depending on the sin she committed. There's a reason she keeps that whip in her equipment.

Weaknesses
Sometimes, the standard she holds herself to can be Achillea's own weaknesses. Achillea cannot lie or cheat, she is compelled to assist and protect those in need, and she'd throw away her arms if it means fighting on equal terms with a wounded man. While not expecting people to uphold her standards regarding honesty, Achillea isn't suspicious or the most insightful either - careful and deliberate lies could easily fly pass her, only because she doesn't expect people commit to such elaborate cheats.

Furthermore, her allegiance is not necessarily to any crowns, but rather to her vows, faith and loved ones. This could make her the most loyal or disloyal.

Bio
Born female, the path of chivalry and knighthood was never supposed to be walked by Achillea. The Order of the Chariot and its deity - the Charioteer, patron god of adventurers, conquerors, expansion and long, rigorous journeys - had held its ground in the North for centuries, and the Tavashenkos its faithful clerics and paladins. When the soon-to-be Northern King came with his servants claimed dominion over this ancient land, Achillea's family aligned and swore themselves with the crown in order to be granted and continue to preserve the old temple they guarded, as well as the small township of Iskirovsk, situated nearby, near the border of the Western Kingdom.

Her father was a guardian of the temple, so was his father before him, and so Achillea, a single-child, soon took up the mantle of knight paladin herself. She started learning how to read, write and was taught the history and lore at the age of eight, and soon entered a disciplined life of a cleric and future guardian of the temple. Once she was strong enough to bear arms, Achillea was formally trained in combat and knightly ideals.

Achillea took up the war hammer and donned her father's plate armour when the old guardian passed away. At some point, she accompanied Crown Prince Dimitri ( Pilgrim59 Pilgrim59 ) on his campaign, and served with the man on the Western front. The bond that built up between the two and his trust in her abilities with the hammer eventually earned her a spot in the prince's retinue, a position she holds to this day.

While his innate abilities are procured with ease, the man took it upon himself to many trials and errors during his time in the military. As clearly seen in his combat form and preferences for ice-based conjuration and weapon constructions, Dimitri is more or less considered a sword mage, and mixes his physical skills with that of his magical knowledge, rather than relying solely on his bloodline's gift. Biography:
As the eldest son of the Northern Kingdom, Dimitri spent most of his childhood away from his siblings. While the young child deemed it as a curse, his parents had other visions for the lad. Disciplinary lessons and other trials had proven Dimitri's aptitude during his younger years, gradually refining his skills and knowledge, as time went on. Although the young boy had gained much knowledge of the outside world, the disconnection of his familial bonds was the price he had to paid. During his time at the Royal Academy, Dimitri have had the chance to acquaint himself with a younger squire by the name of Aylian ( Morzone Morzone ), of whom had caught the prior's attention. While they were simply friends at the time, little did Dimitri knew, that his friend would one day fight alongside him in the North-Western War. It was at the age of twenty, that the prodigal son finally returned home, albeit for only a brief while. Upon his return, Dimitri could only abide by the awkward glares of his siblings. While they were related by blood, the estranged prince were only known in their memories, since his departure from home at a young age. When war broke out between the North and the West, Dimitri took his leave once again. While the distance of their affections grew ever further, Dimitri was only more driven to do his best, in order to earn his place with his siblings again. ( NightPhoenix NightPhoenix ) ( Hyelin Hyelin )

When Dimitri arrived on the Western Front, there was little he could offer but to consult with his fellow field marshals. Much to his grief, the despotic claims of his marshals were all but personal concerns and political glories that have caused the decadence of the Northern Army. It was here, in the Kingdom's most dire hours, that the young man displayed his courage and valor, as he spent countless nights of drawing plans for their survival. Forming his own mobile company of hand-picked retainers, Dimitri did not shy from the battlefield, and had taken point on several occasions in an effort to reform the Northern army's state. It was here, that he became acquainted with Lady Tavashenko ( Trappy Trappy ) and the two would go on to serve alongside one another. Despite their differences in status, Dimitri treated Tavashenko as his best friend, and vice versa, despite the latter's initial reluctance. Accompanied by Tavashenko and Aylian, Dimitri was able to rally what was once a forlorn force, while finding pride in the glory of camaraderie and fellowship of arms. Following his reforms and changes in their plans, the North had managed to delay the encroaching Western Army. While they weren't able to claim significant victories, Dimitri was able to inflict more casualties on the West, utilizing his knowledge of the terrain and self-procured stratagems that he had learned throughout his childhood in training. This had spared the North from needless losses, as well as dragging the war out long enough for a truce to be called.

Despite his efforts to enable the North's survival, Dimitri felt that he had failed to put what he had learned throughout his life for his personal goal - to care for his siblings and make up for the time he spent far away from home. When the truce between the North and the West had been signed, Dimitri eventually returned home, and vowed to do everything in his power to keep his family safe. A certain sense of duty, accompanied by the bloody battles that the prince had braved, would carve out his new life at home. Unbeknownst to the seasoned veteran, the peace that he had fought for would invite new troubles and mysteries for him.

-+-Name-+-
Sir Isidore Duncan Veremieulle
-+-Nickname-+-
Ver, Scissor-Arm
-+-Age-+-
47
-+-Role-+-
Knight of the South
-+-Powers-+-
Like many others from the South, Ver has pyrokinetic abilities. However, he doesn't do much with these powers. He can summon great claws of flame at will should he need to, but for the most part, he finds it an unnecessary caper in his defense. Maintaining highly traditional views, Ver thinks fire-play should be reserved for the royalty, while those in his position follow more conventional means of attack. This may also be his excuse for maintaining the same level of defense guard that he originally was assigned to six years ago, as he would rather protect the monarchy then be leading armies into war. However, there is one special attack he alone has perfected which earned him the name "Scissor-Arm." By extending his arm and bending two fingers into a scissor shape, he can create a small bowl of wind between the two fingers and add continuous pressure and heat until he has white-hot flames, and then release the fire in a scissor-like line.
-+-Likes-+-
*Tea, Ver simply can't get enough of the stuff. Though many of his fellow knights asserted that it was a woman's drink, Ver has always preferred the taste of the rich herbs and distinct flavor to the mugginess of a beer jug.
*Watching the stars. Ver likes to fancy himself a deep thinker, which is somewhat true. He does spend a large quantity of time contemplating different aspects of nature and the natural world but does not have enough extensive learning to truly qualify as a scholastic type. However, he doesn't care if he the names of stars or their purpose escape him...just gazing upon such beauty is enough for him.
*Protecting others, as his main desire or 'philosophy' is to use his talents for the good of others. Back when he was a squire, he was teased for having 'matronly qualities' as a result of his constant worrying over his mates. Now that he has lost most of them, he holds a stalwart resolution to protect the rulers his friends died protecting.
*Horses, and particularly riding them. Though his father was one of the poorer feudal lords, he gave Ver a chestnut mare at the age of 15. Ever since he has held a fascination and love for the creatures, and goes into a rage when seeing any opponent injuring the body of a horse.
*Reading, or accumulating any types of new information in general. Even though his days are often filled with castle obligations, his thoughts tend to wander into all sorts of retrospective queries. How can there still be light after the sun retires the sky? What causes color, and how we react to it? And is it better to do harm with or without knowledge of said act? And, of course, the question of whether these answers have been found and discussed in books he has not read. Thus, whenever he has a spare moment, he steals away to the nearest book-seller to purchase another book for his collection.
-+-Dislikes-+-
*Impatient people are a bit of a pet peeve for Ver. He likes to think his actions through before making them, which is an irregular trait for most people in the Southern kingdom.
*Alcohol, as could be guessed from his zeal for tea. After seeing many fellow knights become wasted in their addiction to the beverage, Ver has resolved to stay away from the stuff. He also has noticed that it is the easiest liquid to hide poison in, because of it's opaque color.
*Enemies to the Southern Crown. Though Ver doesn't halt from befriending those from the other kingdoms, he draws the line at those trying to kill or hurt the monarchs in any way. He will stop at nothing to protect the royal bloodline, even if that means self-sacrifice.
*Mosquitoes and other insects which hover around him in summer. Ver carried a disdain for the creatures when he lived as a squire, but now that he must carry armor at all times, they've become nigh unbearable.
*Ver also has a low tolerance for any kinds of jokes or pranks. He's tried to develop a sense of humor, but it is very much a work in progress. This tends to only attract others to teasing him more, however, as his reactions can be very amusing.
-+-Fears-+-
*Though Ver likes to picture himself as a true, fearless man who can take on anything, this is far from correct. He has more than a couple of fears, one of which is cynophobia. He developed his fear of dogs through childhood when he went on a hunt with his father and saw how savagely they tore through the skin of rabbits, foxes, and other critters. This fear also extends slightly to any beast looking to kill him, as they will also cause a paranoid reaction out of him.
*Though this seems like a commonplace fear any knight should have, Ver is deathly afraid of failing his duty as a knight in some way. Whether it's as light as not bowing to a lady, or as extreme as watching a member of the royal family die, these are the sorts of fearful thoughts which keep him up at night.
*The most irrational fear Ver retains, is his fear of piano music being played higher and higher in pitch. It's certainly not a fear of anything that might actually kill him, but the upwards note somehow strike his nerves in just the right manner to produce chills of fright.
-+-Weaknesses (Personality wise)-+-
*Ver tends to be Overly Idealistic, holding a positive view towards all he meets which is constantly setting him up for disappointment. This is especially true regarding the monarchy, whom he holds to icon-like status.
*He also often takes altruism to the extreme and inwardly reproaches himself for not giving more to others. With his personality basically built on serving others, he has forgotten what it means to really care for himself and is thus capable of reckless actions of self-endangerment.
*Ver takes things way too seriously. This doesn't only cover his sense of humor, but also many challenges and criticisms made towards him. Avoiding conflict as much as possible, Ver will put a great deal of time and energy into trying to align his principles and these criticisms into a middle ground that satisfies everybody.
*It's very difficult to understand Ver or really get to know him. This is not because his personality is overly complex, but simply because Ver is very private and reserved. He considers it some form of selfishness to spend too much time focusing on himself, and will thus answer any questions about himself with small answers that turned the attention back to the other conversant.
-+-Strengths (Personality wise)-+-
*Though his idealism is often taken too far, there are ways in which it is also his greatest strength. His optimism and cheer even in the face of hardships lends him great leadership skills, and even assists him in battle so he can keep a clear head.
*While Ver has the potential to rise farther in the ranks or tout his fighting capabilities, he instead strives to find harmony among others and in his personal life. His approach to holding power is almost democratic, as he works hard in ensuring that every voice and perspective is heard and understood before reaching a compromise.
*Ver is very passionate and energetic, as when something captures his imaginations or speaks to his beliefs, he goes all in, dedicating his time, energy, thoughts and emotions to the project. This extends furthest in his current position, wherein he does all he can to ensure proper measures are followed in securing the monarch's safety.
*As can be seen above, Ver is both a dedicated and hard-working knight. While others focusing on the challenges of the moment may give up when the going gets tough, Ver has the benefit of his idealistic optimism to help him see the far-off possibility of a better future. Filled with courage and purpose in his role as protector of the Southern clan of monarchs, he face all opposition with the strong belief that he is doing what is right.
-+-Bio-+-
Ver's childhood was picturesque, filled with loving moments between his parents and many, many siblings. He was more eager to pursue adventure and selfish gains back then, spurred on by three brothers whose reckless actions caused much grief to their mother. From climbing cliffs and trees, to having sword fights with their father's old blades, Ver relished in continuous risky exploits and shunned the academic studying his father wished him to undertake.

It was only when his peace was shattered by a terrible event that his perspective was changed. One of his brothers went into the forest to practice his fire abilities, and soon became carried away. His circle of fire extended from the clearing he had chosen, to the branches of trees above him, and soon a forest fire was raging all about him. And while said sibling was able to escape using his fire powers to accelerate away, there just happened to be a traveller from the Eastern kingdom trapped inside while the fire burned. And, in order to stop the death of this traveller from turning into another war, Ver's brother was executed.

This was a pivotal moment in Ver's life. For the first time, he truly realized the gravity of his negligent lifestyle, and decided that he needed to change himself. He paid more attention to the books in his father's library, and after a month when he started his time as squire, his morals and personal motive had undergone a fundamental change. In fact, his principles became like our current-day Newtonian philosophy; there were rules for everything in society, and as long as he both followed and upheld those rules, he would be fulfilling his duty as a rational human in service of the monarchs. He also decided to rely less on his pyrokinetic powers, since they had landed his brother into such trouble.

This was one of many reasons he decided to take charge over his fellow squires. He helped clean their quarters, gave them tips on academics, and practiced fencing up to late hours with them. He was often teased as a result, and even roughly insulted and picked on, but as time went on they began to appreciate him more and their teasing gestures became affectionate ones.

At first, after they were knighted, they were all sanctioned in the same positions, and Ver took pleasure in the fact he could work together with these friends he had gained. Many of them started to take on wives, which Ver avoided because he never knew how to talk with women. Sure, he could hold a courteous conversation once in a while, but he didn't have the sharp wit and courting skills that his friends possessed. However, in the midst of this gaiety, war was on the brink. Many knights were called out, but while Ver was stationed to fight Northern forces, all of his compatriots exempting a knight called Norman were sent to fight Eastern forces. Ver soon distinguished himself on the field of battle, using his skills at swordplay and occasionally his fire abilities as well. Afterwards, he learned that the forces fighting the Eastern army were entirely devastated, since they had been lured into a trap within the forest and then crushed by the vegetation within. This news left a huge emotional mark on Ver, who had now lost both a brother and several friends to the East.

As if sensing the moroseness of Ver's thoughts, the Southern king stationed him as the main castle guard, where he has remained for many years. Because of the relative peacefulness of the position, Ver was able to regain his positive outlook and happiness. This changed slightly in the last week however, as Ver was requested to come along with the prince to the main castle. While he was more than happy to comply and assist the prince, he was also worried about the possible events which might occur as all kingdoms meet together.

WIP
Name: Mizuko (is also called the blooming flower or prince, because of his powers. Only a few of the normal people call him the peaceful prince of flowers)

Age: 23

Role:
eldest Prince of the Eastern Kingdom

Powers:
  • Fortune Telling: He is able to tell you a fortune by picking your favorite flower and feeling your pulse for a few seconds. With that simple doing, he can tell you a short version of your future. But since some people grew fond of that he stopped doing that, before they would despise their soon-to-be-king.
  • Speak with plants: The prince would need his full concentration to focus on a plant he touches to actually communicate with them. But if that action succeeds he can get any information from the present and last day. Be it what people were here, up to bandits burning down cities in his kingdom. But after using that power, he needs to rest a very long time, sometimes he even was asleep for nearly two days.
  • Plant Growing: Even with little of his actual power, he could always help weaklings to grow better. (That is actually not to explain further I guess haha)

Likes:
  • Animals of any kind
  • Flowers (duh)
  • long walks alone or with his loved and dear ones
  • Peace
  • The sunny weather
  • When the cherry blossoms begin to bloom and fall
  • Music; sometimes he even would play for his siblings (or just for fun) something on his guzheng (or zither as you're used to that haha [it's a great thing promise])
  • His (pet)fox; he once helped that creature out of its misery and it keeps coming back. Even though the little fox is a bit clumsy, always stumbling and falling on its snout. After a while Mizuko named him Red

    04081debb8e06f3a6fbde785b83b5098.jpg

Dislikes:
  • Harm; it doesn't matter to whom, even if they seem they deserved it.
  • Injustice
  • a War; he despises it so much

Fears:
  • leaving his little siblings alone
  • that war breaks out and kills his own people
  • that he isn't able to play his instrument anymore
  • marching out for a war

Weaknesses (Personality wise):
  • He is really careless sometimes, giving people the reason to even rant more
  • Ignores often angry people and avoids conflicts
  • The prince can't even kill a fly (that's explanation enough I guess haha)
  • overhears often important things
  • gets distracted easily
  • can't fight at all, if you would give him a weapon he would probably just pass out

Strengths (Personality wise):
  • a real pacifist
  • a good entertainer, if needed
  • would make a good florist
  • is really kind-hearted and friendly to everyone
  • the prince is really calm, decent and smiles the whole time
  • he lets the others always finish speaking and doesn't say anything if they interrupt him
  • he is an optimistic person
  • that boy can reassure his siblings very well and would never tell his worries to them
