The Grim Mistress
Hi, so here's a couple I have, and I'd love questions, feedback, opinions, lalala ^^
CITRINE
Full name: Citrine Willow Blackwood
Nickname: C, CeCe, Cit, Ce, Ci
Age: 17
Sexual orientation: Homosexual
Occupation: Student
House: Slytherin
Parents: Father-muggle, mother-witch
Year: Sixth
Picture: (just general refrence, see below for accurate info)
Clothes: In school, she wears the standard 'uniform'. But when she can dress as she likes, she prefers jeans and tanktops, often looking sporty and fashionable, and leather can be easily found in her wardrobe. She likes wearing black, but when it comes to colors she prefers the warm colors of yellow and orange to the colors of her house. She often puts flowers into her hair.
Eyes: Her eyes are amber, but are so bright they might as well be called gold.
Hair: She has curly, gold colored hair, that usually reaches to just over her shoulders. She wears it down and loose, or in a high ponytail.
Body: She is 5'7", and has a lean, curvy build.
Other: She loves combat boots and her clothes are usually at least a bit teasing or revealing, as she is comfortable in her body.
In short: Smart, a joker, fiesty, charismatic, competitive
Ci is a very charismatic, social and open person. She loves hanging out with other kids, doing dumb, daring things. She loves a challenge ad is always up for doing something stupid or funny. She's also smart, very above the average, something that she got from her dad, who is a scientist. Though she would never admit it, she likes studying because she likes to get every advantage possible (due to being so competitive), but would gladly blow it off for a chance to go prank someone.
She likes sports and is very athletic, her favorite sports being -of course- quidditch and running. She gets the competitive spirit from her mother, who is known to be just as fiesty as her daughter.
Despite everything, Ci is loyal and has a strong moral compass and a big heart. She likes to help her friends when they're in trouble or feeling down, and will fight anyone that tries to hurt the people she cares about. She will fight with her life for anything and anyone she believes in. Because of this, you can often see her fighting away older kids that pick on the first years, or giving a mean/unfair teacher a solid burn (oh so sassy~). These things often earn her time in detention, or a praise here and there.
Her feisty personality and competitivness, as well as her talent for mischief and pranks often lead to fights and huge pranks, and she only gets caught when it's something so big the teachers can't miss. Like setting every flamable thing on fire after it's touched by that one guy who pulled on Helen's hair in third year.
Her parents are Liam Blackwood (previously Hudson) and Aria Miriam Blackwood. Her father is a scientist (biology), and her mother worked at the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office. When Liam was on a project in Florida, he met Citrine's mother, who was just there on vacation, enjoying a tour. They started dating and Aria eventually told Liam that she was a witch. It took quite a bit of convincing, considering he was a scientist and refused to believe in such things. After he accepted the fact that the love of his life was a witch, they dated for a couple more years (Aria had decided to stay in Florida to be with Liam) before he proposed to her. After that, they moved to Aria's home (Scotland), where they got married. Only a few closest members of Liam's family who already knew about Aria were invited, so that his other family members (who didn't know about magic) wouldn't be freaked out at a magic wedding. They decided to keep Aria's last name, because it was a respectable and wealthy name, and they had intentions of being active in the wizard world and wanted their child/ren to have a wizard last name. Two years later, Citrine was born (Liam aged 27, Aria aged 25).
Citrine is an only child. She grew up in the Blackwood Manor in Scotland, with loads of neighbours and cousins. She showed a lot of talent for magic from a young age, but was interested in the 'muggle' traditions of her village as well - like riding horses, hunting (especially bear hunting), archery and martial arts. Her family also raised Shire horses and Caucasian mountain shepherds.
Her wand is 13" and made of Hazel wood, has a Phoenix feather core and Unyielding flexibility, just like Helen's. When she turned 11 she received her Hogwarts later and soon attended her first year. This was a new and exciting experience, because she has been waiting for this for a long time. She got sorted into Slytherin, but the hat had to think for quite a while. She loves her house though, and is happy that she got sorted in it, even though she was picked on and shunned because she was a Slytherin, the stereotypes of evil Slytherins still very popular. This led to her depression and self-harm in her second year, but she got over it with the help of Helen her parents.
Amongst her classes, this is how Ci does in them:
~Transfiguration: She's excellent at Transfiguration, making it one of her best subjects.
~Charms: Another subject she excells in, but she finds this one to be boring, as she doesn't see the challenge.
~Potions: Ci doesn't like potions (too smelly and stuff gets behind her nails), and she's about average in them.
~History of Magic: Absolutely despises it to the core of her being, but still does well in it. (Because, quote: "I refuse to let something that boring and annoying take down my grades.")
~DADA: This is Ci's favorite subject, and the one she excells most in.
~Astronomy: Ci rarely finds something interesting in Astronomy, and her grades are on a thin line from average to below average, due to her constantly using Astronomy lessons to doodle or take naps.
~Herbology: Her worst class. The plants smell awful and her fingernails are constantly dirty from the soil. At the beginning she didn't take the class seriously and came close to failing it, but panicked and got it up to about a C+.
~Flying lessons: She loved her flying lessons and did amazingly, joining the Slythering Quidditch team as an excellent seeker.
~Arithmancy: Ci doesn't love this class, but doesn't hate it either. She just sort of tolerates it because it's there, and she doesn't have major any problems (or major successes).
~Muggle studies: Due to both her parents connection to the muggle world, she does very well in this class, but finds it rather boring, since she knows a lot already.
~Divination: Does well but doesn't really have any talent for it. Rather enjoys the laid-back lessons though.
~Ancient Runes: Ci likes ancient runes, but sadly isn't that good at it, leading to many frustrated nights of studying to keep her grades good.
~Care of Magical Creatures: She likes this class a lot, and does well at it too. Having a love for magical creatures, nothing is too scary or gross for her.
Citrine made her Quidditch team as the seeker, and has won many games. Her competitive spirit makes the games a lot more fun for her, but she tends to be a sore loser.
This tab also contains some relationship stuff that I don't feel like copying into Helen's tab xD
1. Her first use of magic was when she was a little girl and her aunt Betty tried feeding her broccoli. She cried and the spoon shot out of her aunt's hand, straight into the wall.
2. There is still a hole in the wall from the spoon, but a family picture of Citrine and her parents is hanging over it. Her mother was being sentimental and refused to have it fixed.
3. Citrine hates broccoli.
4. Her dad has 2 brothers, Jensen and Mike, and her mother has a brother (Kyle) and a sister (Betty).
5. Citrine also has a total of 13 cousins.
6. Her family:
7. During her stage of depression and self harm, she only once broke down in front of Helen, in the library. She started crying because of the stereotypes, and how they affected her, how everyone treated her like she was evil just because she was in Slytherin. Helen hugged her and helped her calm down.
8. Citrine's favorite food is french fries, and her favorite drink is orange juice (with pulp).
9. She only kissed boys even though she hadn't felt much attraction to them and didn't have any idea she was homosexual until one of her drunk classmates kissed her. Her rection was "Oh well, that explains that."
10. Her first kiss was in her second year.
11. She got crazy jealous when Helen started dating a guy in fourth year. She went so far as to sneak into his room (Ravenclaw) and hexed all his socks to never have a pair, and turned all his glasses into girl's sunglasses.
12. After Helen found out about this, she didn't talk to her for a week.
13. Helen dumped the boy after seeing how miserable Citrine was, who was delighted and admited that she had feelings for Helen.
14. Citrine first figured out she liked Helen after she won a quidditch game and was celebrating on the field with her friends, but looked across the field and just stared at Helen.
15. They went on their first date on Citrine's birthday, February 4th. They were in the fifth year at the time.
16. They had their first kiss on Valentine's Day.
17. They broke up once at the end of their fifth year, but got back together over the summer.
18. Citrine's herbology teacher is puzzled at how she manages to kill a plant after just one day of taking care of it.
19. Citrine's doesn't like chocolate cake, ice-cream or other desserts. Surprisingly, she likes chocolate alone.
20. She's a Slytherin and proud.
21. She went through with pranks that will most likely go down in school pranking history, such as:
-Setting an annoying teacher's classroom on fire. The fire was hexed so it couldn't be put out, and it didn't actually burn anything.
-She managed to prank Peeves. Let's just say it involved a lot of charm's research, bananas and a batallion of pigeons.
-She stole the sorting hat and paraded around with it on her head around her dorm.
-She put a hex on the Griffyndor rooms after she found out they cheated in a Quidditch game (that they won against Slytherin). Everytime someone said anything related to quidditch, a loud air horn noise echoed through the rooms. The teachers had to clear the dorm and worked all night to remove the hex, and to this day no one knows who put the hex there. (Except for Helen).
22. Citrine is an animagus. She finished the process in her fourth year with great determination and the help of Helen and a few Slytherin friends.
23. Her animagus is a panther.
24. Her patronus is a dragon.
25. She also has a strange obssesion with dragons and was delighted to see her Patronus.
26. She can't cook. Seriously. She managed to burn water after trying to use a spell to make it boil faster, and when she tried to crack an egg she hit too hard and it broke open in her hands.
27. When she has Herbology classes, she paints her nails black so she doesn't have to look at the dirt that gets under them. This is how other students know when her class has Herbology as well.
HELEN
Full name: Helen Lillian Mismith
Nickname: Hel, Helly, Hels, Lenny, Lena
Age: 17
Sexual orientation: Bisexual
Occupation: Student
House: Hufflepuff
Parents: Both wizards
Year: Sixth
Picture:
Again, a refrence. More info below~
Clothes: Helly usually dresses in her uniform, but prefers green and white/silver/gray clothes when not wearing uniform.
Eyes: Her eyes are a chocolate-y brown, but in odd lighting can appear to have at least shades of green.
Hair: Helly's hair is thick, and slightly wavy in a rich shade of brown. She keeps it short, the longest reaching just to her shoulders.
Body: She is very slim, with average curvs. She's also 5'5", but usually wears high heels, looking 5'7".
Other: She was 5'2" until fourth year, when she grew up to 5'5".
In short: Smart, shy, determined, caring, spiteful, quick learner
Helen is a smart kid. She is a big bookworm, reading everything she can get her hands on. This leads to her spending more times with books than people and makes her shy. She used to stutter and was literally too afraid to speak when approached by starngers.
She is also kind and caring, with a big heart, believing every living creature has beauty and potential to be kind and good. This also leads to her being insanely protective of everyone she cares about, so if you try to hurt one of her friends, you better decide what size coffin you want. Her determination and being spiteful often leads to angry, impulsive decisions, that usually don't end well for her. Luckily, she has Citrine to show her how to lie and cover her tracks. Her mind and heart are always in conflict, one wanting to learn and read and the other wanting to go out with Citrine and do dumb, exciting things.
Helen's parents are both wizards, Magnus Mismith and Deanna Mismith (previously Portvale). They are both Aurors, which is how they met. They both come from a long line of wizards, being proud of their heritage, even though Deanna has a strange obssesion with Muggle music. They started dating and got married after 3 years, during which they travelled the world. They got engaged in Italy, when Magnus proposed under the tower of Pisa. Helen was born about a year after the wedding (Magnus aged 29, Deanna aged 25).
She grew up in her father's childhood home, with her older brother Ethan. They also had a ragdoll called Memory. She was picked on a lot when growing up, but her brother came to help. After he left for Hogwarts (he's almost 8 years older), she shied away even more and then she met Citrine, who helped her stand up. She is now a lot more independent and determined, but still tends to be shy. Citrine often decide to 'fix that' and drags her along on her pranks.
Her wand is 13" and made of Hazel wood, has a Phoenix feather core and Unyielding flexibility, just like Citrine's. Going to Hogwarts was a scary thing for Helly. She didn't like the idea of being around a thousand other kids, fearing she would get picked on. She was sorted into Hufflepuff before the Hat even touched her head, and she felt happy because her parents told her Hufflepuffs tend to be friendly people. It was mostly Ravenclaws and Griffyndors that picked on her in first year.
She learned to stand up for herself and got a lot trickier after she met Citrine in her first year, starting to use spells out of her class - something she wasn't used to doing.
Helly's classes:
~Transfiguration: She's good at it, and finds it rather interesting. Nothing outstanding though.
~Charms: One of her best subjects, and also one she finds boring.
~Potions: Helly absolutely loves potions and is very good at them.
~History of Magic: Does well, but mostly because she enjoys learning all those dates and places and names...
~DADA: She didn't use to like this class, but started to love it after Citrine began tutoring her.
~Astronomy: Helly likes Astronomy, but spends most of her time there to stop Ci from doodling on her textbooks and to "Stop sleeping you bloody idiot the teacher's looking at you."
~Herbology: Her absolutely favorite (and best) class. Everyone knows she's the best at the subject in the class and so does she.
~Flying lessons: She is actually an outstanding flyer, even beter than Citrine, but has about as much enthusiasm for Quidditch as a rock has it for living.
~Arithmancy: Helly is awful at this class, but is not going to let it ruin her grades and has to study a lot to get that B-.
~Muggle studies: She likes this class a lot, and often interrogates Ci for extra facts and notes.
~Divination: Helen is extremely talented in Divination, and has been told so by many students and teachers. Unfortunately she claims this class is "The most boring thing since Quidditch" and refuses to take special interest in it.
~Ancient Runes: Ci likes ancient runes, but sadly isn't that good at it, leading to many frustrated nights of studying to keep her grades good.
~Care of Magical Creatures: She used to be scared of going to this class, but then saw how much Ci loves it and decided to try and be active for her sake, even though the weird smelly animals scared her.
Again there are facts here about their relationship that I don't feel like copying to Citrine's tabs xD
1. Helen's brother is 8 years older and also an Auror.
2. She wants to continue studying Herbology and get a job in the field.
3. She met Citrine in first year when they both got lost and Ci shooed away a few bullies who wanted to pick on Helen.
4. Her cat Memory is magical and is 24 years old.
5. She started looking for loopholes in Hogwart's rules to help Ci, and succeded.
6. She is an excellent flyer but hates quidditch. She only started attending the games after Citrine made Slytherin's team as the seeker.
7. Her favorite food is strawberry pie and her favorit drink is coffee (bitter).
8. She loves being in Hufflepuff.
9. Both Citrine and Helen look better wearing the colors of the other girl's house - yellow for Citrine and green for Helen.
10. She was a vital part in most of Citrine's greatest pranks.
11. She is also an animagus, and helped Citrine with her process too. They both got them in year four.
12. Her animagus is an Alexander Archipelago wolf.
13. Her patronus is a phoenix.
14. Both of Helen's parents have no siblings, meaning she has no cousins.
15. Magnus' parents are Dylan and Rivera.
16. Deanna's parents are Igor and Lyla.
17. There was a fight at Hogwarts, when death eaters attacked. Citrine was fighting one when a Ravenclaw (that was on the death eater's side) almost knocked her out from behind before Helen managed to get his wand. The death eater then used the Crucio curse on Citrine, and angered Helen so much she killed him.
18. She then carried Citrine out and when a teacher asked her what happened to the death eater she replied "Oh him? He seems to have died."
19. She was chosen as the house perfect in year 5 and six, and Citrine was chosen as her house' perfect in their sixth year.
20. Helly is quite good at drinking - she barely gets drunk when other's are completely hammered, and she rarely has a hangover. This is a skill that Citrine is jealous off, because she only has the average alcohol tolerance.
21. When coming out to her family as bisexual, her brother said 'knew it' and earned a smack on the head from his mom, a chuckle form his dad, and a vicious toothbrush prank from Helen.
22. Helen broke up with Citrine in their fifth year because Citrine was really close with a guy from her quidditch team and refused to stop hanging around him so much. Helen one day overheard him flirting with Citrine, and she appeared to be flirting back. Over the summer, Citrine explained that it's just a thing they do to tease each other.
23. After having cooled down over the summer, Helen refused Citrine's proposal to end things with her quidditch friend if it made Helen happy.
24. Helen and the said boy (called Xavier) ended up completely fangirling over potions.
