I remember seeing this on another forum, and I figured I'd start a thread for everybody's favorite quotes. They can be from real people, or from TV, movies, video games, etc. You can be silly or serious with the quotes you post, and I'll start it off with a personal favorite of mine:

Although I have loads of funny ones I can share, I am feeling rather sombre and serious today so here we go.

I love this speech, but what sticks with me most is that middle bit 'life implies deaths - or shall I say, death implies life'. 


I used a reworded version of this to explain away horrified looks from people when I explain what I study and it has lead to some amazing conversations
