No Game, No Life

No Isekai anime can top NGNL in my mind. It is easily in my top 5 anime of all time. It is nothing short of a tragedy that it doesn't have another season.

Re:zero is also excellent because there is only 1 best girl and her name is Rem

"12 kingdoms", my favorite by far. Really sad anime was left unfinished.

I guess could also say Vision of Escaflowne to some extent.

Going by anime alone, my absolutely favorite isekai anime is Konosuba.

My top favorite isekai (anime) would be:
1. Konosuba
2. Log Horizon
3. Overlord

While not in those top and in uncertain order, I want to give an honorable mention to No Game No Life and Honzuki No Gekokujou, the latter of which might rise to the 2nd spot as I watch it, depending on how well it's quality matches the manga's.

Yeah. It's not specifically characters from a fantasy world (you'll get it when you see the first episode) but it is my favorite anime, so I definitely recommend it!

hmmm I wonder if it counts as Isekai in general sense but my top favorite would be hagure yuusha no estetica followed by no game no life, overlord and log horizon in no particular order for second and rest.
