Amity ville
The exorcist
The list goes on.

Some of my favorites are:

Hellraiser 1 and 2.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Event Horizon (Sci-fi space Horror)
Gremlins
The Fly
Night of the Living Dead (1990)
Army of Darkness
Killer Klowns from Outerspace
Flatliners (1990)

The original Texas chainsaw massacre.

Also, NOPE by Jordan peele.

As someone who’s fairly new to the genre, my horror repertoire isn’t huge. But of the ones I’ve seen, the original Scream is my favorite.

Scream is a classic man brought something new to the table.

Though all of the sequels aren’t even that good and lately in horror it’s been pretty lackluster and unoriginal.

That’s why I’m a big fan of Jordan peele’s horror movies or most of them because they’re all completely original with obvious inspirations that I don’t mind.

Mine is Saw V. Just behind that is The Grudge.

Alien(s), Annihilation, anything by Ari Aster or Jordan Peele, It Follows, The Menu, The Thing 1982, The Babadook, His House

I’m always a sucker for found footage.

Comedy/Satire and Horror: Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Shaun of the Dead

Yes - I love the Conjuring series & Insidious.
I love horror movies. From the really horrifying ones - to comedic ones like Leprechaun & Child's Play
I also love finding new horror movies to watch.

The Thing
28 Days later
28 Weeks later
Blood Red Sky
Dawn of the Dead
Alien
Aliens
Predator (?)
Jeepers Creepers
The VVitch
Get Out
Annihilation
Slither
Tremors 4: The Legend Begins
Halloween Kills
Halloween Ends
The Black Phone
The Purge (Only the first one)
The Hills have Eyes
Don't Breath
Train to Busan

My favorite is Ju-On -- the original Grudge! -- but I also really loved Afflicted and Possum. Very cool top trio of horror movies. Train to Busan is also pretty high up there... and while it's not a great movie, Thir13en Ghosts is certainly a fun movie! Finally, The Thing is a classic for very good reason. Absolutely amazing practical effects and atmosphere that's just as good.
