Fantasy Fantasy Mercenaries: The Light Lotus Company

How long do we have to put the form together? My fever-ridden brain isn't sure it's gonna be fast.

Literary Revenant Literary Revenant Are vampires a playable race?
I was planning for a plot with vampires to happen in a further scene. As of right now Vampires dont exist on Balthora, but you can make someone who is obsessed by blood, perhaps an alchemist seeking to enhance their strength through blood research, or a sorcerer trying to experiment with blood. Later on this character could seek their chance to become one of these weird blood drinking creatures.

is there a maximum number of people you'll accept?
With my two characters, plus 5 (3 of which belonging to one person.) That's 7 characters and 4 players. I'm fine with up to 10 players and 13 characters at the most.

Because from past experience, some people do lose interest, others may have their characters die off and it's hard to manage an army of players by myself. I'm fine with 10 but anymore and I'll be spread a little thin.

Through the ability of weaving magic, would it also be possible to specialise in using it to help support people with either the light bending waves creating illusions of an ally or enhancing physical strength/weapons

I'm also interested, I'll probably be revamping another character of mine that never saw the light of day.

Enhancing Physical Strength is outside of Balthora's magic. (The people in Vian have that though.)
The light bending waves is exactly what Illusion magic is meant to be.
You can imbue a weapon with either a permanent or temporary enchantment. Hope that helps. XD

Yep thats fine! So I would be okay to apply with change magic and use it to heal, create barriers and temporary enchantments on weapons?

I'm interested if there is still room. :)
I'd be thinking of playing an escaped Orc slave.

How much of technological we are talking about, because if is technological enough i have a special character that would fit perfectly
So it's advanced industrial technology. Scientists have discovered a way to solidify Arcana energies for use as fuel, medicine, fertilizer, food for some animals and a means to power large machines. This substance is called Dorav. It is very hard to make but can power machines that previously required hundreds. However, the exhaust is a heavy fog that lingers for months poisoning any life it engulfs.

Think Golden Compass or a medieval Mass Effect. No guns tho it's still fantasy not futuristic

medieval mass effect with medieval mass relays, so probably we got somekind of automatons. And about guns, you mean gunpowder based weaponry right? Because i thought something like a magical repeating crossbow
I'm at work, I'll get back to you on lunch break!

So, No Mass Relays, I meant the appearance and vibe of Mass Effect. No stealth space ships, or enormous space robots hell bent on destroying the entire span of existence. Automatons are definitely a thing, both Magical and Artificial. I mean Gunpowder and plasma based weaponry. Repeating crossbows were definitely a thing in history, and Dragon Age (I know ALL THE BIOWARE GAMES!) has Varic using Bianca which is a steam based repeating crossbow. Depending on the type of magic I'm fine with it.
