  May is a vixen of a woman, easily fitting herself into social situations, and able to flex with social cues flawlessly. Growing up, her mom worked as a bar waitress that toted her children along to put to work, exposing May to the scene and obscene early. It left a distaste in her mouth for her mother’s family - hell for family in general. Still, it grew her up hard on the inside, calculating, always looking for the next foot up.
  
  On the outside, May is a sweet girl, polite, friendly, and easy going. She's all grace and femininity, especially when the situation calls for it. That is until you get her into the bar, and she becomes as rowdy as any one of the boys - its a streak of her Irish nature to get rowdy when the liquor starts. Meanwhile, inside, she is snarky, sarcastic, cruel and has no pity for others. She does not care about community, or good deeds, and is all about getting herself forward in life. One would call her selfish - if they could ever see past the mask she has refined all her life for the world to see.
  
  Deeper still is a need to be accepted - something she never received from her mother. Her father - or at least the man her mother ended up married to - was a bastard that deserted them shortly after she turned eight. Since then, she had grew to hate her mother for her cold hearted nature and lack of warmth for her and her two younger brothers. The only love she has in her heart is for an old motorcycle she had found and fixed, and her two siblings. If someone touched her brothers, she'd kill them without a second thought to the fall out or whether she would get caught.

  History:
  Maeve Thatcher grew up in the outskirts of Dublin. Her mother had been a bar waitress when she met May's father. A quick tryst later, the man had returned to London and she was pregnant. Desperate to hide the fact from her family, she had married a family friend who worked at the bar with them. The man would sire two more children with her, May's younger siblings - Thomas and James. Since they had both worked in the bar, the children were often underfoot and in the bar until bedtime, when they would be sent home to sleep while the nanny watched them.
  
  At eight, her father had disappeared. May always suspected something had happened to him, but her mother had made it clear he deserted them and left them due to his own choices - what those were never came to light. After that, May had quit school and started working with her mother to help support her two younger brothers. At first she just cleaned in the mornings, but as she got older, she started serving and then bartending. When that got boring, she tried her hands at cards and found she was faster with them then most men. In no time at all, she was conning the lot of the bar out of their money and lining her own. None of them seemed to mind as she was pretty on the eyes and always laid on the flirtations like a professional.
  
  Due to reading the easy nature of men, she avoid relationships determined not to let anyone close enough to her to hurt her the way she's watched so many women be hurt. She relies only on herself and her own abilities. Ironically, she's still untouched at her age of twenty-one, but you'd never know from her actions. The time finally came when she had enough of her mother, had enough of the constant fighting, and as her mother had aged and begun to loose her sanity, she had let slip that she was the reason her father had left - because she had been a bastard child who came unwanted, and once the man realized she wasn't his, had drove him away.
  
  London was a refreshing change from Dublin, with new people to con, new money to be made, and new chances to get be who she wanted to be. With her brothers off doing their own thing, she had been in London for two years now. She had secured a spot bartending and playing piano at (The Pub), determined to earn her way into the owners good graces, waiting for her moment to make her mark.

  Thomas Thatcher, younger brother to Maeve Thatcher, is the exact opposite of his sister. His mother did not treat him as badly as she did her daughter, and so he grew up with family meaning much more to him, although she was still not as motherly as most. His sister was the one who instilled in him the need to be around family – he looked up to her, despite the fact they were only a year and a half apart.
  
  Tom also has a habit of trying to save the damsel in distress. When he sees a sad face, a tear, a quivering lip, that is all it takes to bring out the chivalry in him. He is a comedian and puppy dog, with a tender heart who just wants to do what’s best for those around him, and those in need – its what led to his early career in the military. He’s a walking contradiction – tough on the outside, big and built like the boxer he was in the military, loves a good fight and some fist-to-fist show downs, but will then turn and shake the mans’ hand who just beat him and tell him good show.
  
  Due to the military life though, he has matured past his age quite a bit. For all the goofiness that he is, when the time calls for it, he is quick to become serious and levelheaded. He’s honest to a fault, despises liars and deserters, and those who abuse women. During his military stint he was jailed for beating the shit out of a woman’s husband for slapping her. While he is a shocking number of opposing qualities, it comes together nicely in a way that leaves people either loving him or hating him, neither of which matters to him. He just wants to enjoy life.

  History:
  Thomas grew up in the Dublin outskirts with Maeve Thatcher, the two of them thick as thieves. As a boy, he watched his mother alternate between loving him and hating his sister, never quiet understanding it. To him, family was everything, and he wanted to be close to both his mother and sister, as well as his younger brother James. Until he started school, he was always under foot with his mom and dad at the bar until he started school. After he started school, he followed his sister around in the afternoons until he got on with his own friends, then splitting time between them until it was time to go home.
  
  Around the time before he turned six, his dad left, leaving him with a hate for men who desert their responsibilities. This was when his mother began treating Maeve bad, spending more time at the bar, and less time around home. He watched his role model – May – step up to the plate and drop out of school to work under the table with his mom and earn extra income for the home. This gave him a great respect for women, even leading him to eventually decide he would become a strong enough to man to defend those who were harmed by his fellow gender. This led to him joining the military the day he was old enough to join with parental consent – his mom signed the form without even looking at it. The next three years of his life were a blur as he pursued every little thing in the military available to him that could be seen as a chance to improve himself.
  
  Through the three years, he specialized in gun, ammo, boxing, and ended with some training in special operations once his commanding officer realized he was “sneaky as shit” – his words not Thomas. Thomas has successfully broken into his commanders’ living quarters, rearranged the furniture, and put his bed in his kitchen. Within a few days he was in accelerated training for off the book missions. When his contract ended at three years, he decided he had enough money in saving, his sister and brother had gone on to start their own lives, his mother hadn’t spoken to him since the last time he had sent her money, and he was ready to go home.
  
  Now, with the highest-grade military discharge he could receive, he was back in Dublin, applying around town as a mechanic.

  Jocelyn ‘Princess’ Justice is an American sweetheart and beauty who grew up in New York’s higher class. As a child, her father started teaching her marksmanship and business. She attended private schools, art lessons, learned to play the fiddle, and took singing lessons. As an only child she was spoilt, yet somehow grew up down to earth and good natured. As she finished her standard grades early and graduated at sixteen, she then moved on to learning her father’s business inside and out. By twenty-one, she was working her way up in his business. Believing it would be better to start at the bottom, she started in the mail room, and moved up through the ranks, At twenty-five, she was overseer on several of their distilleries and responsible for the import and export of alcohol on the state side.
  
  Taking an extended leave, she went back to school, this time she went to college for business and art, receiving a masters in both Business Management and Art. Her father decided at this time she was both educated and experienced enough to move to London, taking over the direct handling of export to the European side of the world. A standing relationship had already been built with the Kings, the company supplying a label named after them, “King’s Black Label Whiskey”, she took over the direct leadership, becoming business and then ‘family’ with Spencer and the King organization.
  
  For the last two years, she has been working with Spencer to supply the bars and clubs owned by the family. Half of her time is spent in office, overseeing paperwork, production, delivery, and dispersal and the other was spent at bohemian bars, art shows, painting in solitude, drawing from benches.

  Trevor was born 1928 and raised in Slough, along with his younger siblings, Philip and Elizabeth. His family was working class and never went without, even if Trevor always wanted more than he was given. He was close to his father and learned from an early age ways to trick and charm others. So when his father was conscripted in 1940, Trevor was upset. That upset soon turned to devastation when news of his father's death came a year later. For the next few years, Trevor and Philip had to live without their father, as well as having fewer comforts than they were used to. Though his mother tried, she wouldn't have got by without help from her parents. There was never any real evidence, but Trevor convinced himself his mother resented him, that he was a burden on her finances. As soon as he was old enough, Trevor decided he didn't want his mother and brother to be a burden on him. He was ready to go out and live his own life, which meant he wasn't willing to devote time and money to supporting his mother. Taking his share of what his father had left in his will, Trevor left the family home with little in the way of a warning.
  
  Still only a teenager, Trevor had mastered and expanded on the silver tongue his father had gifted to him before his death. Despite having no work experience in the field, Trevor managed to talk himself into a job as a car salesman. His ageing boss saw a lot of potential in the young man and given his good looks, he made sure to put the young man out in front of the forecourt. Trevor was particularly popular with the female customers and that was where most of his sales came from at first, until he actually became an expert in the job and was able to talk even the most stubbron of men into buying a car.
  
  After moving into a rented flat in Bethnal Green, Trevor was 18 when he met Laura in a bar. The young woman was beautiful and seeing other men also eyeing her, his competitive side meant he had to successfully pursue her. Switching on the charm and boasting about possessions he didn't own, he managed to talk to impulsive woman into leaving the club with him that night. When she asked for evidence of the expensive sports car he supposedly owned, he 'borrowed' one from car dealership to drive her around in. Even though she soon learned the car wasn't his, she didn't seem to mind, clearly drawn in by the thrill of it all. For months, the two of them dated and lived in the moment. Trevor managed to blag them freebies, including tickets to football matches and free stays in expensive hotels. The two of them really were living in the moment.
  
  As far as Laura's brother, Bruce, was concerned, Trevor never hit it off with the man. It was clear from the first time they met that Bruce didn't like him and could see through his boyish, charming facade. Whilst Trevor had the ability to put on a sweet guy attitude that fooled most people, especially attractive young women or sweet old ladies, Bruce seemed to see the self-centred and cunning man beneath the mask. Regardless, Trevor still played the nice guy towards the man when in Laura's presence, if only to annoy her brother further. She was aware of his faults but still he could do no wrong to her. Trevor was sure he'd have grown bored of Laura and moved on sooner, but the thrill of getting one over on Bruce made him all the more motivated to keep the woman wrapped around his little finger.
  
  There was a moment when Laura had considered taking her brother's warnings and ending her relationship with Trevor, but then she discovered she was pregnant. Even surprising himself, Trevor's first instinct wasn't to run for the hills. Instead, he found himself inclined to stick by her and raise the kid together. Despite initially getting closer to her to annoy Bruce, Trevor had actually fallen in love with Laura, or at the very least, the idea of the endless fun the two hedonists had shared with each other so far. Trevor proposed to Laura and the couple rushed into getting married in order to save the woman from the stigma of being an unwed mother.
  
  When Spencer was born, Trevor felt proud and despite being a naturally selfish man, he made an effort to be a good father. Things went relatively well for the first couple of years, but the cracks began to show. He wasn't quite so patient once he had a needy toddler running around the house, so he made a point of taking on more shifts at work as well as spending more time in the pub or the bookies. Spencer wasn't even four years old when Laura became pregnant again and their second son, Alex was born. With money becoming tight, Trevor took more risks to bring in extra money for the luxuries he desired. From fraud to cheating in gambling or to simple theft, he got a taste for conning people out of money. There were times when Trevor would take Spencer out with him, using the young boy to distract or aid him in his pursuits. He also discovered one day that he could use his cute kid to gain the attention of women he was attracted to. He'd spin a tale about being a single father, get a lady's number, then dump Spencer back at home so he could go out again to continue his date without the kid getting in the way.
  
  As the years went on, Trevor stuck with Laura and the kids. There had been many times he'd wanted to leave and never return, but somehow the family home used to pull him back in, if only because it was somewhere to call home when he felt like it. A place of reasonable stability which he could rely on when no other option would cut it. That, and having someone besotted with him was good for his ego. He still cared for Laura, but having kids meant they couldn't be as free-spirited an impulsive as they once had been. Or, at least, Laura couldn't.
  
  The married couple separated for a year when Alex was only 2 years old. Soon enough Trevor ended up back home and in bed with Laura. The two promised to have more fun, which often meant having someone babysit the kids whilst they went out on all-night benders. On occasions where they didn't go out, they would put the kids to bed and instead get high in their living room.
  
  It was early 1956 that Laura became pregnant again. Trevor wasn't happy that their newfound spark would be put on hold again. The couple had many heated arguments about the matter. When the woman fought to steer clear of drugs and alcohol during the pregnancy, Trevor would bring more home to try tempt her. When he realised she was serious about keeping their third child, he had no choice but to accept it. Trevor's version of acceptance was going out on his own and not returning for days on end, leaving Laura to look after Spencer and Alex without his help. When Billy was born, Trevor was once again proud, as he had been with Spencer and Alex, but he couldn't deny the dread he felt for more sleepless nights looking after a baby. He preferred sacrificing his sleep to get drunk or have sex.
  
  Laura grew tired of Trevor's behaviour and told him they were over. Unfortunately, this happened around the same time Trevor had being fired from his job. When he failed to charm Laura into staying with him, he instead talked her back into his good books with promises of more adventures, not to mention, gifting her with more drugs. Keeping his unemployment secret, Trevor made all of their income through illegal means and gambling. He also found the more drugs he supplied his wife with, the less of a headache she was for him. With fewer arguments and more opportunities to go off to do his own thing, Trevor had the perfect arrangement. Not to mention, Laura had her own access to funds to keep them going.
  
  As Spencer was old enough to understand what was going on, the kid started calling Trevor out on his many bad traits. The man grew exhausted with his son's cocky attitude, often yelling at him or hitting him to get the message through. With Laura's addiction becoming too serious to ignore and his three sons draining his energy - when he even bother to be around - Trevor was growing restless. He felt emotionally detached from him wife and kids, simply craving his self-gratification. Then, in 1960, Laura became pregnant once more. It was as if he was stuck in an endless loop, so he felt trapped. This time, he had a drug addict wife to contend with too. Spencer was still a kid himself, but in Trevor's eyes he was old enough and had proved able enough to pull his own weight. So, all Trevor could think to do was break free of the cycle and escape before his daughter was even born...

  Jeremy has often been called relaxed to a point of apathy. He is intelligent to the point his personality has become like that of a book – quiet but often containing a story of churning differences within. Among his friends, he’s known as being the one person who can be trusted to not be riled up no matter what you tell him. For example, when a fellow boxer killed his opponent in the ring, and was panicking and going crazy, Jeremy simply walked up, took a look at the guy, said, “Risk of the sport,” and helped carry the body away.
  
  He's not one to be easily swayed by perky optimism, and to self-aware to be disturbed by solum pessimism. With a very levelheaded personality, and a knack for speaking blatant truths, or unasked for observations, most people consider him to be possibly the worlds largest jerk, or they loved him for his honest and took the unintentional insults he gave them as a grain of salt.
  
  When he’s got free time, he spends the hours reading, learning something new, or listening to people sing. Not musicians in the sense of The Beatles or other musicians, but people who sing classically, or even operatic. This interest was made easier when the Walkman came into existence, and he often has music playing, with a headset around his neck, anytime he isn’t engaged in conversation.

  Jeremy Gray grew up on the wrong side of town, with the brains most high-class folks hoped their children would have. Deeply intelligent, book smart, and interesting in everything from history to ships, Jeremy is always looking reading something, with a book in hand. As a kid born in 1951, he had hopes of growing up and doing something more with his life. He was the apple of his mom’s eye, and his fathers, until they died in a car crash when he was eleven. After that his uncle took him in until he was of age and gave him a simple but well under working class life.
  
  When he was nearing the end of his teens, he realized his size and brute strength could earn him the money he was missing in life, help support his uncle, and maybe pay for his education. He started bare knuckle boxing, and working bouncer jobs for the King boys, Spencer, and Alex, both of which he knew from the neighborhood and school as he was right between them age wise. They had been long time friends, gotten in many scuffs and trouble together, and had come to trust each other without question. Being an only child, they were a lot like brothers to him back then.
  
  Over the years he had moved up in their organization from bouncer to bodyguard and had made plenty of money doing it. Of course, the King boys had turned into the King men, and had lives of their own that keep them from being as close as they were as kids, but Jeremy was still always around and ready to jump into action if someone in the family asked. Once he had obtained a position of rank high enough, he had requested a leave of absence to go to school under the understanding that he would be back at the first request. Since then, he had returned several times, during breaks, or moments of strife.
  
  He had finished school at twenty-eight and come back to work exclusively for the family. When asked why he didn’t put his degree in history to use, he said he hadn’t done it to use for anyone else, he simply wanted to learn. Now he felt he’d learned enough to continue in his free time, he was comfortable studying on his own while working for the Kings.
  
  Still, intelligence does not beget kindness. Jeremy has a mean streak a mile wide and has had his hand in a few brutal assists when asked. If anything, since learning the truths in the world, Jeremy had become a man of little fucks, and very little disturbed his calm nature, even violence was dealt with a deathly calm. Bruce King had recently asked him to take over the guard and care Harper, unbeknownst to her, and he was soon to be babysitting her daily. The idea didn’t thrill him, but he’d been told she had a wild streak, and he was just the guy to deal with it, since they fully believe him capable of resisting her charm with his stoic attitude.

  Christian was born in Glasgow. Along with his younger brother and sisters, he had an exceptional education and they had plenty of wealth that he never went without anything. Tragedy struck when Christian was 14 as his youngest sister, Lottie, was killed by a drunk driver. The driver managed to walk free from court, despite the Brooks family knowing the man was guilty.
  
  Excelling in school, he had had his heart set on furthering his education in London, where he believed opportunities for him would be far greater. At the age of 17, he began dating Jodie Wilson and the pair soon fell in love with each other. However, with a mixture of his focus on his studies and them losing their romantic spark, the couple split up after two years. They ended on good terms and for a while remained friends, until gradually losing contact with each other.
  
  Although his parents wanted him to be a lawyer, Christian wasn't keen on the idea he might end up defending someone who was guilty. Instead, he wanted to have a more active role in seeking justice. After completing his Law degree at Cambridge University, Christian was accepted as a Trainee Detective Constable for the Metropolitan Police. After years of shadowing and training on the job, Christian qualified as a Detective Inspector before he was 25. Still, he believed he was only at the start of his career and fully intended to continue climbing the ranks. Christian put everything he had into the role, wanting to do what he could to protect the public and solve crimes. He was motivated by the fact that London had a lot of crime to solve!
  
  Despite his enthusiasm for his career, it didn't take long for Christian to become disillusioned. Although he had seen many signs during his training and probationary period, it wasn't until he experienced it first hand that he saw the corruption within the Police. When he'd built up enough evidence of local money-laundering to issue warrants and start an official investigation, he was shocked to find his superiors ordered him to drop the case. It became clear the department was already aware of the illegal activities but had been paid off to turn a blind eye to the criminal organisation's business. Faced with the prospect of potentially losing his job, credibility, and potentially risking his own safety in the process, Christian was forced to destroy the evidence he'd built up.
  
  It was in the same year that Christian bumped into his first love, Jodie. It had been the first time in six years he'd seen her, as she was dragged into the station having been arrested on a common assault charge after she'd been involved in a pub brawl. The woman's life had taken a completely different path to the one he'd expected of her, with him learning she was working as an escort and sex worker. Although Christian wanted to help her, she had been clear in telling him not to get involved.
  
  Christian hadn't thought much about Jodie until a few weeks later when he found himself attending to a crime scene in a fancy hotel room where he was investigating the woman's murder. Once again, his investigation was put to an abrupt stop by his superiors who took over on the case. Without their knowledge, Christian conducted his own research and was able to link the murder back to a very high profile Irish Minister. Realising his colleagues had been protecting the powerful politician, Christian kept his knowledge to himself. Instead, he leaked information about the brothel to the press during the Minister's next visit. Though nothing could link the politician to Jodie's murder, it did result in his immediate resignation, embarrassment, and fall from power. Without realising it at the time, Christian had managed to cross the Sullivans, who had been using the Minister for their own gain back in Dublin. Thankfully, neither the Irish Mob nor the Minister were able to trace anything back to Christian.
  
  However, the Kings would later lead it back to Christian, especially as Jodie had been a friend and employee of theirs. This lead to Christian being bribed to help the Kings, otherwise his identity as the whistle-blower would be revealed to the dangerous Sullivans. Whilst he didn't like being blackmailed, Christian found it surprisingly easy to betray the Metropolitan Police and instead help the criminal organisation. Somehow, they felt like the lesser evil. He would give the Kings tip-offs and help them to cover their tracks if any of the police did get wind of their operations. He saw to it that any evidence against employees of the Kings was either lost or easily contradicted. This went on for some time, until an altercation with a superior resulted in Christian punching the man in the face and being suspended from his duties. Rather than be dragged through an investigation and no doubt fired anyway, Christian decided to resign from his job for good.
  
  With no intention of trying to find legitimate work, Christian pledged his full loyalty to the Kings. Having already proved himself whilst still a detective, the Kings agreed to give him a chance. Though he was aware he'd still have to work hard to prove himself, it didn't deter him. Over the last six years, Christian had worked solely for the Kings, from using his contacts to be a private investigator, to the more general duties of surveillance and chauffeuring. In that time, he has forged genuine friendships within the organisation and continues to do what he can to help them.

  Nikita Blake is not and has not been a mentally stable person since she was a child. Normally she says the first thing that comes to mind with no regard for how it may make people feel. She's failed to show or hold any type of empathy for others, which is why people often refer to her as an uncaring robot. Which is true, to be fair. She doesn't quite understand emotions and sees them as illogical and unnecessary. She believes they cloud one's judgement and doesn't allow a person to do make difficult decisions when they need to. Therefore she's abandoned them completely and doesn't think about other people before she does something. Guilt isn't something she feels either, often moving on immediately after she's done something society has deemed deplorable. It makes killing people and doing unsavory things for crime families extremely easy.
  
  When it comes to her social skills, she's perfected her masking technique. Really she hates being around people and would much rather stay to herself in her little apartment, but she knows that she lives in a world where being a hermit isn't exactly possible. Therefore, she's managed to make herself seem like a people person. Her ability to manipulate people into thinking she's charismatic is off the charts, though if she's done it too much she may fly off the handle. Flying off the handle includes mumbling to herself, inflicting pain on herself or others, and in extreme matters - murder. Usually, it's people she's seen do harm unto others, but she has no problem killing innocent people either.
  
  Kit has no problem with following orders and doesn't ask questions. If she's told to kill someone the only question she does ask is, "Is there a specific way?" She's very straight to the point and doesn't beat around the bush with anything. Her blunt attitude and submissive behavior make her the perfect person to go around doing dirty work for people. When it comes to relationships, Nikita is not the lovey type of person. In fact, she abhors feelings for people completely and believes they make you weak. Because of her manipulative behavior, however, men have unfortunately fallen for her. And every time they do she breaks their heart with no regard. At this point, she doesn't even warn them against it and actually finds joy in watching them fall apart.
  
  She's a tad bit sadistic, and by a tad bit, it means she's definitely sadistic. Causing pain to others is probably her favorite past time whether that be mentally, physically, or emotionally - emotionally and mentally being her absolute favorite ways to break someone. While she's good at killing people, breaking their spirits is more her speed and she's pretty good at it.

  Nikita Blake was born in Israel to an Israeli mother and a German father. Her father had been amongst the group of Holocaust survivors to move to Israel and it was there the Israeli soldier met her German husband. The three of them lived in Israel together, where Kit would not only be taught basic topics but how to defend herself as well. With her mother being a soldier she thought it only right that she start learning some of the techniques she does. Besides, once she turned 18 she would have to join the military anyway. With this, she would have the upper hand and could get placed better. Her father, a psychologist, followed suit and taught her some of the things he knew as well. By the time she was 10 years old, she was able to take apart a gun blindfolded and manipulate shopkeepers into giving her family discounted prices.
  
  In 1967 their happy family had been torn apart. Just when her mother thought she was free of the military, they called her back to duty. Israel's neighbors, Egypt and Jordan, had decided they would attack the nation. The battle lasted six days and during those six days, Nikita's mother lead soldiers to defend her homeland. Unfortunately, the day before the ceasefire she was shot and died in the hospital with her husband holding her hand and Nikita watching from the foot of the bed. She had seen people die before, up close and far away but somehow seeing her mother die inches away from her hadn't felt real. The idea that she could lose anyone close to her had never crossed her mind and despite seeing it, she still never processed her death.
  
  Not wanting to go on living in hostile territory, Kit's father made the decision to move the two of them to London in '69 when she was 12 years old. He found work at an insane asylum and used his work as a way to be from his daughter. Nikita reminded him too much of his now-deceased wife and he couldn't stand the sight of her. When he did manage to bump into her in the home they lived in together he would always grimace and turn away. Finally, he had had enough and sent her away to a Jewish Boarding school. It was there Nikita experienced abuse from her teachers, boys, and girls alike because of where she came from. It didn't matter that she was Jewish nor that her homeland had been so welcoming to those affected by the Holocaust. She was different from them and supposedly poor because of her country.
  
  Nikita dealt with the abuse until she turned 18 and returned to Israel for her military service. It was here that everything changed for her as far as her mental health went. Because of the things she learned in school and what her parents taught her, Kit ranked higher than most women in her group. This earned her not only respect from her peers, but also a spot in their special forces program. It was a ghost operation in which she wasn't allowed to say what they did nor give any sort of idea. The group did anything from simple combat to torturing of any kind. Kit's personal favorite was psychological torture and she had become immensely good at it during the four years she spent in the military. She had even learned human anatomy to help her in her torture sessions.
  
  When the military-appointed therapist noted deep-rooted psychological issues, they suggested she be reassigned to something else. With her range of skills, she would do fine anywhere, but she didn't want to be reassigned. She loved her job and something about it was so therapeutic, but her superiors agreed with the therapist and officially discharged her from duty. At the age of 26, she returned to London with no idea of what to do next. That is until she bumped into her father on the streets. It had been 11 years since she last heard or seen him and she didn't know how to react to him holding a little girl in his arms while another pulled on his jacket asking who she was. Seeing that the man she knew as her father had abandoned her and started a new family enraged her and she made it a point to ruin him.
  
  For months she trailed him and discovered that he was still a psychologist, but that he also had a nasty drug and gambling habit. Nikita had also learned about the family that ran things, with the boss being Bruce King. Nikita then came up with the idea of stealing drugs from them and making it seem as if it had been him. The plan worked and a rumor started running through the streets that the person who figured out who had done it would be rewarded. It wasn't about the money for Kit, but it did sound nice. Kit waited a week before she approached Bruce and gave him the false information and had even offered to off the guy. Staring at the man who left her behind made her feel something, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Pulling the trigger, however, had given her a sense of euphoria.
  
  Even though what she wanted had been accomplished, Nikita found herself willing to work for the King family. Maybe it's because she feels bad about lying to them from the beginning or because he lets her kill people without consequence, but whatever it is she's remained loyal to them over the last few years.

  Ruby grew up in Dublin with a relatively normal life. She come from a very devout Catholic family, mom and dad stayed together despite the odds, got married as soon as they graduated and had Ruby a year later. When Ruby came of age to start school, she went to a catholic school until she was sixteen. At sixteen, she got expelled when she got caught fooling around with another girl in school, and the girl blamed her.
  
  This soon began happening more and more. Ruby began to dress in men’s clothes, cut her hair short, and had developed a slim, seemingly underdeveloped body that most days, fit into the masculine clothes better then her own. At twenty-one, she moved out of her parent’s house, or was thrown out rather, when they realized, she would not stop dating women or at least keep it a secret and marry a man for the social eye.
  
  Over the next ten years, she had worked a variety of jobs, doing whatever to make the ends meet. A low-level street gang that peddled for a bigger dealer, took her in after they jumped her one night thinking she was a man who had ripped them off. She had fought for her life that night, taking out two of the four before she gave in and passed out. When she came too, she was in the home of Luka, man who had ordered her attack. He offered little by way of an apology, but he made up for it with financial recompense and a job offer. After that, she worked for him regularly, increase in difficulty and severity of crime until she was part of the small gangs inner circle.
  
  In 1980, she began bareknuckle boxing at a local gym, seeking professional training. Soon, she was picking up any style she could convince someone to teach her – boxing, mma, karate, jujitsu, and so on. Her style ranges depending on her opponent. She carries a featherweight belt from the last four years of professional championships, and a number of wins off the books as well.
  
  A recent fight had caused a broken arm when the kickboxing opponent kicked her along a fractured arm. She has taken a break from fighting recently to heal, and as such, was recommended for a security detail to Adam Sullivan so she could still put those skills to work, but at a slower pace then back to back nightly fights.

  Michelle was born in America in 1950 to her mother, Alexandra Romano. She had a fairly normal life, growing up in the big city with her mom. As a little girl, she never heard much about her father, her mother refused to talk about him. At ten though, her mother had loaded her up, uprooted her life in America, and took her to Ireland, where she met her father. It was short lived, and she soon moved away again with her mother. Her mother eventually remarried a man of good standing who held a highly regarded position in town as a judge, and inspired Michelle from a young age.
  
  The rest of her life was spent in Italy, with her mother and step father. It had been an interesting upbringing, and Michelle had learned a lot about the culture and matured early. She learned to be quiet, speak with meaning, know when push and when to step back. It had made her a perfect candidate for local politics. This eventually lead to her going to school for business and political science, and when she graduated she married and settled down, going into local politics.
  
  Her life had been pretty normal, and for years they had the white picket fence life with two kids – Michelle and Malcolm, mother and father of Michael and Lauren- complete with a dog and a house. At least until a year or so ago when Michelle found out Malcolm had been cheating on her. Over the next year and a half, life for her began to fall apart. A year ago her and Malcolm separated and he began living in Australia – with his new girlfriend. It didn’t take long for him to forget what family life was like and begin to live like a bachelor again.
  
  With the impending divorce, Michelle decided she wanted to move back closer to her father, as her mom and step dad had taken to traveling the world and were rarely home. She felt she needed some support around her, and on a whim sent the kids to their father, packed her bags, sold the house and headed to Dublin. With little to no forward notice, she’s back in town now, and hoping to surprise her family.

  Caspian is not the sort of man whose appearance gives off his personality. More often than naught you'll find him with a scowl on his face or a look that says he's lost in thought. His eyebrows are almost always furrowed as if he's got a lot on his mind when in reality he's probably thinking about what he wants to make for dinner. Caspian is not at all the big, aggressive guy that everyone thinks he is. He's soft-hearted and kind, willing to lend a hand wherever he can. As intimidating as the man can be, he's not at all overly aggressive. However, when pushed to his limit he can be. Cas is a cool, calm, collected kind of guy until you press his buttons - disrespecting women, hurting kids, just to name a few. Caspian is a fairytale gentleman, opening doors for the women he goes on dates with, turning away when even the tiniest bit of skin is shown. Though his male counterparts think it's all a ploy, Cas really is just being kind. Cas isn't the smoothest guy when it comes to women - their flirtatious advances often going right over his head. Often times he has an inability to read the room, but he eventually will pick up on it. When he does he gets nervous and stumbles over his words. Despite all his good features, however, he has a plethora of bad ones. Being a former war pilot, he often shows signs of PTSD at times. He's so used to having to up and leave to fight in wars that he has commitment issues - even though he's retired. Caspian hasn't exactly worked through his issues but he does try not to let them affect the people around him.

  History:
  Caspian Xavier was born into old money - his parents were wealthy from generations before. This allowed Caspian to get the best in everything; learning, clothes, social groups, the whole works. Though he grew up with a nanny and a group of tutors, his parents still made time for him. He grew up in a happy home with everything he could ever want, so really he had no reason to ever be upset - other than the fact that he was an only child. Throughout the years, however, Caspian couldn't help but feel like he wasn't truly living. Maids and butlers did everything for him in his daily life. His parent's money paid for his activities and schooling to the point where he didn't have to worry about anything. But again, he couldn't help but feel like he was missing something in his life. When he was 18, he decided he wanted to see the world. But at the same time, he wanted to do something to give back. What better way to do both than to join the Royal Air Force?
  
  His parents were against the idea, worried that he would be killed and he protested again them. This was something he felt he needed to do - something he wanted to do and they were going to let him. When he first joined it was as a pilot. Flying planes and seeing the world from up high had been an otherworldly experience for him. By the time he was 24, he had 24 confirmed kills, which was the highest-ranking at that time. It earned him both the title of 'Ace' and the ranking of Squad Leader. During his time in the RAF he'd felt an overwhelming sense of pride that he wasn't just trotting about spending daddy's money back home. He was making a difference and fighting for his country. Though his parents still feared for him, they were proud of everything he had achieved.
  
  Only a year after he'd been promoted, his plane was shot down, and though he survived the ejection, he suddenly had a change of heart. He spent a few months in the hospital with a broken leg. Instead of staying on bed rest like the nurses had instructed him to do he hobbled about the hospital. There had been so many patients that needed assistance but there hadn't been enough doctors to help. He'd been standing in the way when a medic asked him for help in stopping a wound from bleeding. The rush he'd felt from it fueled him to change over to learning how to be a doctor instead. The transition hadn't been easy - his commanding officer wanting him to think about it more - but Caspian assured him this is what he wanted. Plus, he would be able to do both, so what was the harm? For the next ten years, Cas was able to juggle being both a pilot and a medic. As stressful as it was, he wouldn't want to do anything else. A difference was being made. Lives were being saved. His parents boasted about him, so why would he?
  
  The day he found out his father had died Caspian was granted leave for two weeks. He spent them with his mother and at the end of those two weeks, he decided it was time to retire. His mother had no one left except for him and he didn't want to risk dying and leaving her all alone. Of course, his CO and higher ups tried talking him out of it but his mind had already been made - and once that happened, there was no changing it. He suggested she moved into a smaller home, while keeping his childhood home as something of a summer home, and move to London. She agreed, though made sure it was clear she still wanted a grand home.

  From a very young age, Klaus always had a sense of responsibility in trying to solve other people's problems and when he failed at it, it hit him hard.   History:
  Nikolaus Emil Jäger was born on a cold January day in 1949 in Berlin, Germany. Though the second world war had ended, the devastation still lingered even well into his childhood. His father had bravely worked with American forces during the war to put an end to Adolf Hitler's reign and terror, personally working with them to end the man in a world-altering mission. Because of this, Klaus and his family had been well known all around German and were equally liked as they were hated. It was hard, to live in the shadow of such a war hero and all eyes had been on him since he was born. People expected greatness from him as his father had been. As a child, Klaus had gotten into quite a bit of trouble but not for the reasons most children do.
  
  His inability to let others be hurt was what caused him to get into a fight after fight after fight. His mother and father were constantly having to pick him up from school as a boy, constantly having to speak with him about choosing his battles. Eventually, Klaus listened and he excelled in his studies. His father pushed him to join the German Special Forces as he had after his schooling was through and with the pressure of his family name to live up to, Klaus obeyed. While on tour in the U.K. on a special top secret assignment Klaus met Henrietta McAdams in a pub within the Kings Territory. She had been working at the pub as a barmaid at The Royal Taphouse for quite some time while he was in London and eventually, he worked up the courage to talk to her about more than just his favorite beer.
  
  A year later, when it was time for him to return back to Germany, Klaus asked Henrietta to marry him and to live in Germany with him. While she said yes to the proposal, she wanted to stay in London. Head over heels for the woman, Klaus agreed to give her whatever she wanted in life and after he was discharged honorably from the Special Forces, Klaus moved to London and joined the police force.
  
  They were married in 1978 at a small chapel with only close family surrounding them. Klaus was the happiest he had ever been, never thinking that tragedy would strike him. That was October 1980. Klaus had the day off when Henrietta hadn't returned home from the pub that night, and Klaus had gone out looking for her. At the pub, it had been taped off and cops were surrounding the area. The coroner truck was being loaded and Klaus had caught sight of his wife's perfectly manicured hand sticking out from the body bag.   Amelia Capaldi grew up in Smyllum Park orphanage her entire life – left on the doorsteps of the orphanage with nothing but a blanket, she was found hours after she was born with no indication of family. During her time at the orphanage, she started teaching herself medicine from books in the library – often torn, tattered and hidden in some deep shelve that the nuns hadn’t realized were there. The nuns – abusive and often to the point of permanently damaging their charges – had given her plenty of practice on her fellow children. As she got older and started working in town, she moved out at a very young age. A shop keeper in town rented her a room under the understanding she worked hours as needed at the shop, allowing her to be one of few pre-teens she’d ever met who lived alone. During her free time she studied and eventually tested out of school so she could move to college and university early.
  
  Once she was able to start college she began an intensive study of nursing, moving up the steps to deeper and deeper nursing skills until she had all but a doctorate to show for it. Since then, she has moved around from doctor to doctor, working sometimes for pennies and sometimes for fortunes, but always trying her best to help those who normally would be turned away from standard practices. Her time in the orphanage had desensitized her to all things bloody and gruesome, so medicine seemed a natural occurrence to her.
  
  When the doctor she had been working for in Scotland got in trouble for performing questionable procedures and illegal practices, she was told her nursing license had been revoked for assisting him. With no where else to go, she began to travel to other countries seeking work, providing services for shelter until she wound up in Ireland – a place that almost felt like her home country – not that she had anywhere that she called home specifically. As more and more found out she had been banned from practicing nursing legally, she had naturally moved to more questionable practices. In Ireland, she could apply and recertify herself, but it was going to take a lot longer to get there. Since she had no home, no work, she spent her days studying to renew her medical license, and her evenings and free time giving free medical care at the local homeless shelter.
  
  At least, until Finn Sullivan found her there working one day, and before she knew it, her life had turned around. Just a few months working with Finn at the hospital, how he’d gotten her past the licensing and requirements she never asked, she now had her own place – a little flat on the edge of town – and money for the first time in a long time. When he started asking her to help in an ‘unofficially official” position, she didn’t question it – Finn was a good man and she trusted him. Between him and her religion – she couldn’t ask for more in life.

  Sam was born in Ireland on an American Airforce Base, giving him dual citizenship to both countries. Midway through school, his family moved back to America where he finished out school and joined the US Marines. During basic, he met Thomas Porter, and over the next year followed him through training and out into war. When they were both captured on the same mission and taken as prisoners of war, Sam stuck to Thomas like they were one person. Thomas helped Sam survive, and Sam did everything he could to help Thomas. It’s a dark part of his past he doesn’t like to recount.
  
  After getting out of the military, Sam had decided he wanted to go into business management, but struggled to find something in the civilian world as his rough around the edge personality and hellacious military time affected his ability to work with normal people. Thomas soon recommended him for work back in Dublin with his Uncle Conor and his brother Syd, and soon, Sam was on a plane and out of the states.

  Philip Stewart grew up in a working class family as the middle child of Patricia and Gerald Stewart with siblings Trevor as the oldest and sister Elizabeth as the youngest. His father was a strict man, often finding the answer to problems with his hands instead of his words. Patrick had never been a fan of it and often avoided his father as much as possible. Philip learned over time to be more like his brother and father, though he chose often not to use his capability to talk people into doing what he wanted as he felt it should be their conscious choice not him scamming them. When his father died in WWII his brother Trevor took over helping their mother look after him and Elizabeth.
  Unfortunately that didn’t last long as the minute Trevor was old enough he deserted his family without so much as a word or a call home, taking with him his share of the inheritance that they needed so badly. This left Patricia to struggle, while Elizabeth and Patrick grew to resent him. Instead of finishing school, Patrick dropped out and began working at a construction company, starting all the way at the bottom as a site cleaner and assistant. Over the years, he slowly moved up, climbing the ranks and proving himself. When the owner of the company Lloyd Slate – a single man who never had children – passed away, Philip was shocked to find he had left the company to him.
  Now, as owner of the company, he has expanded to have several crews working in different parts of England, the most recent being London as he moved his family there to be closer to his mother. As her health has been declining, Philip decided it would be easier than driving in any time she needed help. Now, just five minutes away, his wife and three children have just been settled in, while Philip is keeping an eye on his scandalous brother. Trevor had returned and start ‘making amends’ but Philip figured it was strictly due to the fact he was expecting something out of her death, which Philip was making sure did not happen.
  Several years ago, when her health had started declining in the early stages, she had made Philip and his wife joint Power of Attorney’s, and joint deciders on what happened with her health, her home, and all her belongings.   Born and raised in Sheffield, Sarah had a childhood she couldn't complain about. Her family were relatively well-off and she had a decent education. With her older siblings being her parents' favourites, Sarah had plenty of freedom to do her own thing and slip under the radar. Despite spending her college years partying and having fun, she still completed her studies with top marks. Sarah grew bored of her hometown and at 18 she moved to London seeking more opportunities.
  
  Life in London didn't start out as the big deal she'd hoped for. Instead, she found herself working a receptionist during the day and a barmaid in the evenings. After a couple of years, she started working as a trainee estate agent and began to put her all into her work. Filled with motivation to succeed and climb the ranks as quickly as she could, she became very career focused. Growing up, she'd never been one to imagine having her own kids, despite her friends always talking about that kind of future. As she entered her twenties, she wasn't even sure she wanted to settle down and get married. Aside from a bad romantic experience with a previous manager, she'd found all of the men she'd dated to be immature and lacking ambition, so she was soon put off.
  
  Although he was over 12 years older than her, meeting Philip was a breath of fresh air and came at a time she was ready to give up on love to focus on her career completely. The man had a mature mind and the way he'd worked hard to build his business were extremely attractive qualities to Sarah. It was difficult to pinpoint when her mindset changed, but being with Philip made her want to have her own family and once they were married, she was ready to have children with him.
  
  Sarah took some years away from work to focus on their kids and trying the whole stay at home mother life. For years she enjoyed that role, but once their youngest child was old enough to start nursery, Sarah focused on getting back into her career. She was grateful that they could afford childcare outside of school hours so she could continue to work full-time hours as an estate agent.
  
  Over recent years, her mother-in-law's health began to decline and the family found themselves having to travel to London from their home in Cornwall much more frequently. This led to Philip making the decision to move to London, not only so they could see more of his mother but also to expand his ever-growing business. Being close to Patricia, Sarah found herself visiting the woman frequently and was more than happy to be made joint Power of Attorney with Philip. Having been told about how Trevor had selfishly walked out on his mother and siblings, she was glad steps had been taken to prevent the man from getting anything from his mother.
  
  Sarah is now glad to be living back in London and the kids are all happy with the change too. Though she feels her marriage is as solid as ever, she does miss Philip when he works long and stressful hours. For now, she's put her concerns down to the fact she wants to get back into working herself, finding staying at home to be a drag now the kids are old enough to be more independent.
