I'm calling these things Ferro Ghouls as a pun.
Luckily the Ferro Ghoul is slow, so you'll have seconds to come up with a plan before it gets within crushing range. Those of you with high Perception will see loose wires where something was torn off it and those with high Intelligence might be able to figure out that the reason the Ferro Ghoul went berserk was because the robobrain meant to keep it under control is no longer attached.
In terms of combat options mines and other explosives might help deal with it before it gets to you, someone with a high accuracy ranged weapon might be able to drop an overhead exhibit on it, or you could spray it with bullets and hope you can put it down.
