Name:
The Minute Men

History: After the events that lead to the destruction of The Institute. The newly united region was now at the hands of one powerful army, and that is all it was, an army designed to fight and do that one task well, and so General Sam "BAMF" Jackson new a change was in order and reformed The Minute Men from an army to a nation. This nation held the same tenants as before but was now able to govern land properly. While Jackson was not willing to relinquish sole command of the new regional power he was still understanding of the old ways and of the history of the original minutemen, so he formed the 'House of Minutes', effectively a council of members from each town that joined The Minute Men where they could influence and direct the future of the nation, he also set in place failsafes so this House could officially and legally deal with an unjust General in the future. Members of the House were called Minutes, the twelve who were given the authority to join the Generals direct advisory 'team' were known as 'Hours' and with a 10/12 majority vote could over turn any decisions he made, these Hours were elected by the Minutes from among their own number.. The Minute Men took a strong stance of the protection and preservation of all Synths and were soon met by the Railroad who proposed an alliance. The result of this was a new branch of the Minute Men lead and run by the Railroad for the sole purpose of the protection and rehousing of Synths. The Brotherhood of Steel and The Minute Men were close to a war when an agreement was made, the Brotherhood were given permission to maintain a base on Spectacle Island in return for returning the Airport to the Minute Men and with the understanding that all BOS missions in the region would need to inform the new Government. Once the deal with the Brotherhood was forged work began on rebuilding the CIT to help educate people of the commonwealth, while it has not been agreed yet, the Minute Men hope that the BOS will agree to educate their citizens with their knowledge in how to better understand and care for technology, although hopes for that end are not high.

Culture: The Minute Men beleive in the freedom to practise whatever you wish so long as those beliefs of actions do not have forceful, primarily negative, effects on others. This has caused it to be a melting pot of different cultures.
Type of Government: 'Constitutional Monarchy effectively'
Strengths: Strong organised army, moderately well equipped and trained as well as strong public backing from the region. It is lacking in vehicles but makes up for its lack of usable vehicles with its notable number of artillery and manpower.

Resources: Large resources of Stone, primarily Granite and Marble. Lots of usable and still moderately fertile farmland. Varied Wildlife (Thanks to the Glowing Sea)
Assets: (I assume you want me to list number of artillery, weapons, vehicles etc. here? Will in a bit)
Population: 455,880.
Military: The Military are organised similarly to the Prewar Military of the United States and rely entirely on volunteers. They number around 14,125 full time soldiers but their numbers will swell to around 53,750 if ever the Commonwealth is in Danger.

Song: When the Mutants Broke Free (Slight Alteration of Pink Floyds 'When the Tigers Broke Free)

It was just before dawn
One miserable morning in black 21, 80. (2180)
When the forward commander
Was told to sit tight
When he asked that his men be withdrawn.
And the commonwealth gave thanks
As the other ranks held back
The Mutant tanks for a while.
And Diamond City and those within
Was held for the price
Of a few hundred ordinary lives.

And General Tate,
Sent Mother a note
When he heard that father was gone.
It was, I recall,
In the form of a scroll,
With gold leaf adorned,
And I found it one day
In a drawer of old photographs, hidden away.
And my eyes still grow damp to remember
The General signed
With his own rubber stamp.

It was dark all around.
There was frost in the ground
When the mutants broke free.
And no one survived
From lieutenant McGuire's great company C
They were all left behind,
Most of them dead,
The rest of them dying.
And that's how the Super Mutants
Took my daddy from me.
(While they have no official anthem this is the song most sung by their people at gatherings, it is just one of many war songs/ballads they sing but, being about the most poinient event in MM history (until the Quincy Massacre which they dont like to discuss and the War for the Commonwealth which is too recent to be talked about in such a way))

Name: The Enclave.

History: In the year of 2077, the shadow government of the Thirteen Commonwealths fled to a number of installations around the world to survive the coming nuclear holocaust. Control Station Atlantis was one of them. Built underneath the foundations of Chicago, Illinois as the social order of the prewar era crumbled, it spared thousands of men and women from the horrors that would evolve on the surface. Beginning preparations to settle the world above in the year of 2242, communication with it's sister bunker Control Station ENCLAVE was lost in a single and violent thermonuclear explosion. Hours later, they watched the remnants begin the trek to Control Station Raven Rock. Under the authority of a new president, they branded themselves the Enclave, refusing to forget the incident. It was around this time that the decision was made to begin to explore and document the ruined city of Chicago above their heads, despite the setbacks of their brothers and sisters in the West. Soon after, a foothold was gained in the downtown area and efforts to repair the damages of decades of neglect began in preparation for the return of civilization to the broken city. Local settlements would be discovered, seduced and annexed with promises of comfort and safety, wasteland children would be rescued and reeducated, outside scientific minds would be recruited: in a mere three years a model colony had developed under the careful guidance of the Enclave. As it's people moved with one heart, so was it fittingly and adoringly heralded across the land as Concordia. A New World manifestation of the Old World United States of America. Today, having completed it's expansion and restoration of the cities of Chicago and Milwaukee, the eyes of the Enclave turns to Minnesota for new resources and recruits, while keeping a close eye on the declining Midwest Brotherhood of Steel.

Culture: American.
Type of Government: Representative Democracy.
Strengths: Technological superiority and proficiency, industrial power, is made up of a great number of pure strain humans. Possesses a fleet of bullet trains powered by magnetic levitation.

Resources: Geothermal electricity, plentiful food and water. Capable of producing vast quantities of polymers, advanced alloys, electronics, and synthesizing viruses.
Assets: Control Station Atlantis, Concordia, Arcadia, Camp Michigan, Outpost Jericho.
Population: 464,729.
*Military: The Enclave possesses a sizable fleet of gunship vertibirds and transport variants that often are at the forefront of any operation, a handful of Humvees, and has at it's fingertips a small army of heavily improved Sentry Bots, Eyebots and Mr. Gutsy units. Standard issue equipment (for pure strain humans that is) consists of the advanced X-03 Hellfire power armor, the Urban Plasma Rifle and the Novasurge Plasma Pistol. Muties, or humans that have had their DNA corrupted by radiation, the Forced Evolutionary Virus, or both, are typically issued second generation combat armor (constructed out of advanced defensive polymers), the Urban Plasma Rifle and the Urban Plasma Pistol. Additionally, sophisticated training programs (aided immensely by virtual reality simulations) puts the average combat readiness of the average soldier of the army well above and beyond that of their contemporaries across the continent. For more brutal shocktroops, indoctrinated Mariposa-strain Supermutants clad in oversized Hellfire power armor are deployed, sometimes in conjunction with Intelligent Deathclaws, though the latter lack much of the dangerous IQ of their Core Region predecessors.

16,620 humans are proud to serve for President and country.

*Will be expanded later.
Foreign Relations: The Enclave has opened a number of fortified hospitals across the Midwest and maintains an Eyebot presence in the region. With the hospitals providing free healing and the Eyebots spreading the Enclave's message and stabilizing the area with their patrols and systematic elimination of Raiders, the Enclave has gained a favorable opinion in the minds of the common wastelander, though remains a growing concern for the feudalistic Midwest Brotherhood of Steel.

Name: General Sam "B.A.M.F." Jackson

Bio: Samuel Jackson was an Officer in the US Army before 'The War' and received much training before actively serving and gaining much experience as the Lieutenant Colonel of the 2nd Battalion of the 108th Infantry Regiment. In 2075 he retired and prepared for a new life as a father when 'it' happened. He awoke 210 years after the war to find his wife dead and his son leading The Institute. After saving a group of survivors from the town of Concord he found himself a member of the Minutemen and, hours later, General. Originally he took this 'apointment' with a pinch of salt but after discovering the state of the commonwealth and meeting his son that all changed and he lit the spark that brought the Commonwealth to host a new bloodbath. The result was a Commonwealth united under the policing force of the Minutemen but some wanted more then just a police force. They wished to be truly united against future threats so that a new Institute or other greedy power could not pull at the fringes until the thread unravelled. Sam Jackson had proved himself in the period of confusion with his prowess in battle, his training shining through and allowing him to take on battles that no one outside of the Enclave would have the training to deal with. When he made clear his intention to reform the Minutemen into a new nation he knew he would face some contention but his ability in battle and his grasp of tactics, while mediocre prewar, was legendary in this new world he was thrust into and so very few felt brave enough to challenge him. The 'Civil War' of the Minutemen was quick, bloody and brutal. Their were two conflicts, one battle and one failed assassination. The Assassination was merely a badly planned ambush which Jackson and a few men and women who were guarding him managed to hold off against the unfavourable odds. Some were lost on Jackson's side but not nearly as many as tried and failed to kill him. Then came the battle. It was staged in Sanctuary by Ronnie Shaw who believes his actions to be against the old Minutemen ways and gathers some support but ultimately not enough and Jackson soon retakes the town and manages to avoid unduly damaging his old home.

Name: New World Force
History:
Before the Great War there was a large weapons factory in central Missouri. Its main focus was to create assault rifles for the war effort and because of its importance a small squad of U.S. Army soldiers were stationed in it at all times. When the bombs fell these soldiers, along with any workers in the factory, hid in the strong building and its basement. With a small stock of food from what the squad had and strict rationing by the commander of the squad, Axel Lakes, they managed to survive for a year, living out the worst of the fallout, before starting to send squads of soldier, which were soon named "Assault Squads", to scavenge food for the people.
Soon the people of the factory met others, who started to call them Lakes' Squad, as Axel had become the sole leader of the group. Because the soldiers were trained and well armed, they started to offer mercenary services to the settlements they met, sometimes even doing it for free, either out of goodwill or if they saw it necessary to have good relationships with the faction.
A few years of mostly calm, but yet difficult survival later and the areas around the factory had grown into the largest settlement in the area. With a population around a hundred the town, called Lakesquad, started developed into a proper faction. After the presence of larger bands of raiders was first made apparent in the region, many towns and villages signed a pact with Lakes' Squad, according to which Lakes' soldiers and Assault Squads would protect the towns and for the protection the towns and villages would pay fees or "taxes", to feed the soldiers guarding the towns and to help Axel create various projects, which often helped the other settlements in one way or another.
As Lakes influence grew in the region many of the towns ditched their previous governments and leaders in favor of doing what Lakes and any important soldiers guarding the towns told them to do. This indirect rule lasted for a few months, before, on the 26th of July 2091, Axel decided it was time to do something about it and singed a agreement with the now practically powerless leaders and barely official governments of the towns to formally put them under the rule of him and Lakesquad, together creating the New World Force.
Nearly 200 years later NWF is still alive and well, still trying to grow mostly peacefully even for its. By now it has claimed most of what used to be Missouri and some surrounding areas, but growth has been slow lately as the current commander, Marc Lakes, great great grandson of Axel Lakes, has been focusing more on sustainability and creating an army that would be able to properly defend the areas NWF currently has claim on.

Culture: Even though they aren't a democracy, freedom of speech is in high regard there. They also have the pre-war mentality in many ways, disliking communism and socialism heavily, but adoring capitalism.
Type of Government: Absolutist Monarchy/Dictatorship, but not an abusive one, as there is no limiting freedom of speech, freedom of media, etc.
Strengths: Well-trained and well-armed military, a populace that is happy with the current rule, no larger problems inside the faction (aka no mass-starvation, relatively low infant mortality rates, etc).

Resources and Assets: A weapons factory, mainly producing chinese assault rifles (they got their hands on a few, and realizing they are better than normal assault rifles they reverse-engineered them and created blueprints), but also smaller amounts of more powerful weaponry. A small auto-workshop, that creates vehicles (that run on electricity). Railroad that connects the largest cities. Multiple wind parks and other electricity-generating stations (electricity isn't widely used in civilian life, however, as none of the plants generate enough). Lots of farms, a few smelters and recycling facilities that take old rubble and turn it into proper metal or other usable materials.
Population: Around 242560 people live in the regions claimed by NWF.
Military: Around 40,000 soldiers. Soldiers are well-equipped (assault rifle or Chinese assault rifle and combat armor of some sort) and incredibly well-trained. For example a soldier has to know how the ins and outs of a pistol, usually 10mm, so well, that given the parts ,or possibly even base resources usable as parts, they can make a mostly-working 10mm from scratch. They also know how to preform guerrilla warfare and most soldiers can coordinate basic military tactics in case they are left without a commander. These are just the most advanced parts of their training, as normal combat is a much more important in their training.
Also around 200 transport vechicles, many large, fitting at least a squad full of troops, but some are even larger trucks, which can fit up to 70 soldiers.
The railroad connection can also be counted under military, as its almost always ready to transport the military.
Foreign Relations: They haven't met a lot of the other factions. Anyone they might have met they have tried to avoid.

Name: USCR
History:

The Story all begins in 2165, as New York City is torn up, with little city states controlling the area around them, when a vault opens, and that opening would change the world forever. Opening in Brooklyn, the Industrial capital of New York, the Vault Dwellers began to rebuild with a special Garden of Eden. Years later, after turmoil, they'd create a little slice of heaven. That slice made them a target, as raiders attacked the people, though they always managed to keep them back. Over time, the vault dwellers grew weak and pathetic, Unwilling to help anyone but them, much to the disgust of a man called Angus Worter. Leading an insurrection, he attempted to overthrow the Overseer, ending in failure as they were stopped. Quickly, most of the group was killed however, a few were sent to prison. Angus on a cool night, with that group escaped the community and, stealing some handy technology. From there, they set up in a small guns factory, repairing the systems and on 2189, met with a war lord who wished for weapons to fight against another war lord. From him, he learned of the civilized states outside of LongLand, what it was now called, as well as the small farming community near, what the locals called "The Edge of The World," It was now Angus saw his chance, to do more than a gunsmith, so he swore his allegiance to him, and sent them off to war, with rifles, guns made with New York Steel drawn in from Up North. Slowly he worked his way up, becoming loved by the band of raiders and becoming the Leader's right hand man. Then on the night an important raiding of a group of city states with a group of other bands of the larger raiders, Angus snuck out and told the City states of what was to come, as well as convinced with his wit and charm, the raider tribes to turn on his group of raiders and join him. And when the day of reckoning came, Angus the night before had told his tribe to just change their ways, to let go, the group agreed due to his words, but the leader disagreed, being stuck in his ways, and commanding the group to follow him, and with tradition, they halfheartedly did. That night, Angus, and his group retreated to the factory, where they would stay, meanwhile Angus, went to join the City States in the assault.

The battle, in essence, was a disaster for his tribe. Their so called allies who'd bought guns from Angus, and the city states turned on them, mowing them down and killing them. Not one survived. After that, Angus uttered the words that would bind New York's fate, forever, though those very words were lost to history. The fact remains that after that, they were united, though there were altercations. however, this moment, and what came after came to be known as The Years of Kind Words, and Bloody Daggers, as named by Angus himself. In this 16 year span of uniting NYC, more people would died than any other of the Reunification Wars, as Angus carved himself an empire.

No longer did he work in the factory as he began to have citizens work there and as the Empire grew through the Reunification War, industry that could be repair, was. Now, with the conquering of NYC,. came the fall of the small farming community near, what the locals called "The Edge of The World,". Soldiers advance and in three hours, it fell.

Meanwhile, on May 24, 2201, The New Yorkian Empire signed a treaty with the State of Ontario, a former county in New York that began to absorbed sever counties around it and was on of the most prosperous state of the Former NY to be absorbed into the NYE if they would help the county defeat the 3 Soviet State that had incited war years back. With large caravans set up to support the nation, the NYE raised an army of soldiers that marched over the land of Abany, one of the Soviet States ambushing them. The 4 wars continued for a good 20 years, as when a State between the two denied his troops movement, they pulled in another nation, crushing as they were unprepared. The Soviet States fought hard, but the twist of the war happened when a nation rose from the ruins of the Adoron Dacs declared war as well, and finally in 2221, the 3 nations sued for peace. The nation were stripped of its ability to defend for 50 years, and in that time, another war incited, Ontario refused to join, ending with the first Civil War of the NYE, lasting a full 5 years, as it transformed into a revolt as the nose and the head of New York joined the war, fighting the NYE. Despite the numbers, the NYE came out on top, beating the three major allies and conquering all of their regions.

The army would then spend millions as they pressed heavy taxes to expand into Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey and well as Conn. and Rhode Island. Millions that could have helped the country.

After that, the empire entered a stage of decline, where prices were high, prices were low and Full Capitalism roared, tearing the nation apart as finally, none only as the December Revolution, 2226 the nation tore off the shackles of the Empire and changed themselves into a Country Republic, where a single county makes the decisions for the nation. No one trusted New York to run the country. At first, they were met with weak leaders, such as the Triforce of the Soviet States, which ran the country into the ground. Finally is 2267, New York won the majority vote and led the nation to glory, as the food production, and gun and consumer goods increased, proving to be the savior of the Country as the military met its first challenge against the bos. They did poorly against the bos before gathering their power, their achievements being destroying Liberty Prime, and retaking Fort Saratoga. They grew to resent the Minute Men, who they thought would aid them in their struggles. However, in the war, the USCR lost 19,000 lives from BOS bombings and attacks, and dozens of acres of land were ruined. So the nation encured a hard winter that year with 3,700 more people dying from starvation. But the rise of a communist government kept the country afloat, with strict rationing. For the rest of year, it is estimated that each person in the USCR recieved 24 ounces of meat that year. Since then, the government gave way to a capitalist government that privatized many things. New companies have risen and an age of properity has come. Currently a Manafects Destiny faction of the Capitalist Party in Congress has won the majority seats of the USCR. They soon annexed New Jersey, claiming that it to be ancient New York Land and the New Yorkers must be united. With this, a overhaul in the military was made and industrialization and railway consteuction began.

Confederate States of Texas

History:
The Confederate States of Texas was officially established in 2173, nearly hundred years after the Great War. However its story started long before then, originally much of Texas had been made up of small almost city-state like factions which were always competing with one another for resources and land that contained said resources, whenever any travelers passed by or the occassional nomad group all the surrounding factions would try their hardest to persuade them to settle down within their borders. To bolster their populations, war wasn't exactly common in Texas though a definite uneasiness rested over the state for many years at a time. It had only been when the leader of one of these factions, this faction having been known as Lone Star City based in what had once been known as Lubbock decided to take matters into his own hands and attempt to broker an agreement between all of the competing factions. Fortunately for him and the state as a whole, Texas wasn't home to any insane or chaotic factions which made the whole process a lot easier. He gathered up representatives from each of the factions with a simple yet bold proposal, a unified Texan nation to defend themselves from the dangers of the outside and from the deadly beasts they found within their territories. This man, the Mayor of LSC went by the name of Abraham Collick and his idea was simple, if the factions were united then gathering resources and land would be easy. There would be no need for competition and every Texan would be able to reap the benefits of their expansions.

Despite how outlandish it may have sounded, the majority of the representatives there saw potential in his idea and brought it back to their own respective factions. Widespread it was met with positive responses from both the governing parties and their citizens alike though the question was raised as to who would lead this new nation and how it would be ran. Collick proposed a democratic method of running the country similar to the United States of old, Texans - still being the freedom-loving gunslingers they were loved the idea of having a free and democratic state where all would have their voices heard. It had taken some more bickering and planning though within the decade, an agreement was settled upon and the Confederate States of Texas was set up. With their capital being in Lone Star City where the new Confederate Senate Building was constructed.

Over the next twenty years a process of cleansing would commence and be carried out. The newly formed Confederate States Army was deployed all over CST territory to begin wiping out the dangerous mutated animals and other lifeforms that resided within it as to ensure that there were no interior dangers that the military would have to deal with in the future, allowing for infrastructure to be built and for the population to boom without threat of danger. By 2191, every species considered dangerous or hostile to humans was wiped out within CST territory, allowing for the next phase of development to begin. Under the Presidency of one Johnathan Briggams, the CST would rapidly expand its urbanization program. Three other great cities of Texas would arise during this time, hosting large populations for the time and a coherent and efficient transportation network was soon built between the four cities overall. Connecting many smaller towns and villages between them along the way. Roads were repaired and bridges built, with this new ease of transportation the economy boomed. Businesses opened and a fully fledged free market was able to flourish.

In the 2210's, the Confederate States Army proposed new legislation to the Senate, calling for modernization and new training programs. Originally the proposal was met with some objection, however an increasing amount of raider bands on the Texan border had prompted them to change their minds shortly after. Their idea to fix this issue was simple, pre-war Texas had been home to many dozens of military installations. As such parties were sent out to gather whatever was valuable, weapons, armor and perhaps most importantly. Knowledge, books were taken from installations in the boatloads in-order to give the Texan military a more in-depth understanding of organization and logistical capabilities, training regimes were also brought to their attention. As such a massive reform of the CSA was brought in, making it a volunteer-only force and bringing in even harsher physical and mental requirements to join. Troops were now trained in all forms of infantry warfare, first-aid and survival skills. They were taught how to march and obey orders properly and brotherhood and patriotism were inspired within them greatly as to promote loyalty without forcing it on them.

Within a few years, the C.S. Army had gone from a large militia of sorts to a well-trained and organized military force. With these new capabilities, the Army had no problem in cleaning up any raiding groups that approached and the civilian aspect of life was once again able to flourish uncontrolled or restricted. Bolstering the population and economy of the nation by far, the cities grew and more and more towns and settlements popped up along the now many great roads that lined the CST's territory. Capitalism was embraced fully with chain-restaurants opening and luxuries like gambling and sports now being common-place and organized. The Texan Football Association was founded and formerly ruined stadiums were restored, utilities like running water and heating were brought in to the majority of homes and families were able to live relatively happily. Schools and hospitals were built and fully-staffed and capable of hosting hundreds of students or patients respectively, police and fire stations opened up in many large towns and cities and laws were now fully enforced without exception. The Federal courts done their jobs magnificently and prisons were set up as to not have to resort to putting every criminal to death. They were now civilized.

Farms prospered and grew, agriculture was a very lucrative business and many large businesses opened as a result. Food could even be a luxury at times, the Texan government could now focus on comparatively minor things like policy changes on the wages of teachers when they had once had to debate how to stop raiders from attacking villages. In the 2270s, the Army was refitted once again with a homegrown rifle. The TXA-16 Combat Rifle, an assault rifle that was very well-made and capable of mass-production, as such the entire military were soon armed with them as the now famous Neil-McCraw plants grew in size and begun pumping out weapons. The TXA-01 service pistol was also brought into service around this time, as was the Mojave Standard camouflaged uniform, designed to fit-in with the desert surroundings that would be prevelant soon enough. Vertibirds were taken from their former Air Force bases and brought to Confederate installations to be repaired and fitted with weapons, pilots were trained over the course of years and they passed down their skills as teachers to the next generation of pilots. Trucks and weaponized vehicles were now utilized regularly and a more sophisticated command structure was brought in. Radio communications within the military were revised and new military codes were brought in similar to those of the old US military. The industrial sector boomed with help from the Neil-McCraw Brothers and Texas entered a less-prosperous but far more stable state.

Name: BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL MOTHERFUCKERS
History:
Following the destruction of the Enclave on the West Coast, the Brotherhood dispatched an expedition to Washington, D.C. on a mission to reconnect with the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel, investigate reports of super mutants in the Capital Wasteland, and recover any advanced technology. Led by Paladin Owyn Lyons, the group included Henry Casdin, Ishmael Ashur, Reginald Rothchild, and Lyons' 3-year-old daughter, Sarah.

Contact with the Midwest chapter was unsuccessful, so the group traveled to Pittsburgh. The city was being terrorized by wildmen, trogs, slavers, and raiders. Lyons' force swept through the city, destroying many hostiles and suffering only one casualty: Ishmael Ashur. Believing him to be dead, the Brotherhood gathered the surviving children into their ranks and continued toward Washington, D.C.

On their arrival, the wilderness outside the city was overrun by super mutants. Attacking head-on, they drove the mutants into the ruins of Washington, D.C. and earned the favor of the local population. Their investigation of the Pentagonuncovered a remarkable cache of technology, including the four-story-tall robot known as Liberty Prime. The discovery earned Owyn Lyons a promotion to elder and a change in his orders: instead of returning to the West Coast, they would establish a permanent presence in the area. They founded their base, the Citadel, in the remnants of the old Pentagon.

The Brotherhood's treatment of people in Pittsburgh and in Washington marked a characteristic trait of Elder Lyons' leadership. The Brotherhood's primary directive was to recover and preserve advanced technology, however Elder Lyon's detachment took on a more humanitarian approach towards non-hostile wastelanders. When the Elders in Lost Hills learned of these new priorities, they cut off all support to the chapter, though they still considered it as part of the Brotherhood. The chapter suffered a further setback when a number from within their ranks left in protest to form the Brotherhood Outcasts.

It was in this weakened and isolated state that it was possible for the Enclave, having relocated from New California as well, to re-establish a base of continual operations at Raven Rock, to make its move. They seized Project Purity, then set up outposts in Washington, D.C. and the surrounding wilderness. However, with the assistance of the Lone Wanderer, the Brotherhood ended the Enclave's presence in the known region; driving them first from Project Purity and then from their final holdout at Adams Air Force Base. The fate of the Enclave as a whole after these events remains a mystery.

Despite the Brotherhood's success with Project Purity and the war against the Enclave, the organization continued to struggle. Lyons would eventually pass away in 2278, with leadership passing to his daughter Sarah Lyons. Not long after she was named elder she was killed in combat with no clear successor in line. In the leadership crisis that followed, the Brotherhood repeatedly appointed and deposed one ineffectual leader after another until Arthur Maxson assumed leadership. In 2283, Arthur Maxson was appointed elder at age 16, the youngest in Brotherhood history, after displaying exceptional skill as a capable warrior and diplomat by defeating the super mutant leader Shepherd and brokering peace with the Brotherhood Outcasts, bringing them back into the fold.

By 2287, the East Coast Brotherhood had established contact with Lost Hills and has actively received support from the West. During this time, they began to make plans to establish control not only over the Capital Wasteland, but the entire Eastern Seaboard. To complete this objective, they began constructing a massive airship called the Prydwen, using parts from the Enclave Mobile Crawler at Adams Air Force Base. The development and construction process took a total of six years, two years to design the Prydwen and twice that to build. During this time, the Brotherhood sent three scout missions into the Commonwealth: first, a group volunteered to go into the Commonwealth, then Recon Squad Artemis led by Paladin Brandis and Recon Squad Gladius led by Paladin Danse. The first scout team was overwhelmingly successful. They brought back crates full of pre-War technology and documents and the first post-war reconnaissance of the area. Artemis was not so fortunate with their problems beginning at their drop-off point in Malden. Ambushed by Gunnersstraight off the Vertibird, which resulted in abandoning and manually shorting out their power armor (to prevent the suits from being captured) and the deaths of four knights. The survivors made their way to the National Guard training yard to regroup, which was infested with feral ghouls and resulted in the death of another knight. Brandis and his scribe left to investigate the pre-War Revere satellite array, but it was infested with super mutants that overcame them and claimed the second last member of the team. The only survivor was the commanding officer, Paladin Brandis, who made his way to a pre-War nuclear bunker, and took shelter there until either the Brotherhood or someone else found him.

Three years later, Recon Squad Gladius entered the region also looking for technology and valuable documents. They encountered similar resistance from raiders as Artemis did and over the course of several weeks managed to secure a base of operations at the Cambridge Police Station but lost four knights in various confrontations. After discovering advanced signals originating from the Institute, Danse sent an emergency signal to the Brotherhood, which, after several technical delays, responded by sending the Prydwen to the Commonwealth, dominating the skyline while under full Vertibird escort for the people of the Commonwealth to see. The Brotherhood established a permanent foothold at the Boston Airport and bolstered Gladius's position at the Police Station. At that point the Brotherhood began to enforce their ideals upon the Commonwealth and investigate the mysterious energy readings coming from the Institute.

  1. Character Form:

    Name: Kay Amegonan

Bio: Born in 2270, Kay was a adiment communist supporter, who believed would work to further the people. He would look up to his father, seeing him as an example of a man. A real man. Graduating from New York Technology at the age of 17, he spent his time writting for the communist newspaper in NYC, and spent his time as a leader of a union in the munitions district. He at the age of 18, he would meet the love of his life, Sammy Pattons. Theyd met at a communist rally and he thought he'd never been so happy. They spent all of their time together, living off the money they had and made. This was about the time Kay began to smoke. Finally though, the BOS declared war on the USCR after talks over the Arsenal had collasped, and within a month, he was drafted. He would serve for 4 years. He first took part in the Caller's Offensive, named after the incompetent general. A third of troops of the 1,000 division had bolt action rifles and a 6th had any training at all. None of them had boots. The Offensive would be a disaster, with about 1/2 dying as the rest retreated into the mountains. Winter set in early, and that cut down their numbers further as about 25 troops would die a month from starvation. The bombing was relentless as the troops continuing the retreat. About 250 remained as finally new spread. Liberty Prime had been destroyed. Moral rose as by now, in large quanities of goods had been produced and arrived to the troops as a second division equiped with tanks and real weapons broke the seige of Kay's troops and relieved them of their duty. By the following May, Kay was part of a newly assembled army of 7,000 men that were shipped out to serve. they led the charge during the battle of Watervilet, smashing the Brotherhood as tanks shocked them and trucks towed AA guns pounded hard on the vertibirds. The Calieti Offensive was a success as theyd pushed into Pennslyvannia, and crossed into the Capital Wasteland. By now, the war drew to an end and with celebration, Kay with his squad mates toured the capital wasteland. When he returned home, things only got harder. The harsh winter was tough on Kay, as he lost both his then wife and his best friends to starvation. By now he'd viewed The Commonwealth as a bunch of children, turning their back on their neighbor. It was also now that Kay's neo Communism ways and smoking gave way to his pro captialist expansionist views. Afterwards, he led the Manifest Destiny party to victory, using his personally and kindness to attract members. In 2288, they won the election and Kay became president. He pushed for industrialization and to build the nation inti a super power.

Nation form:

Name: The Reich of Steel (PAT I DONT CARE IF IT IS UNREALISTIC)
History: As you have learned in Fallout New Vegas, the Brotherhood sent out tons of groups of members to find new technology and supplies to further help them in their absence from the Wasteland. However, you never learned how one of the members of one of the groups that were attacked actually survived...

Jackson Thomas, a trained Knight in the Brotherhood ranks was swept away from his squad for several hours, to find his girlfriend, and the rest to have been raped, and killed by raiders. Jackson went insane. He went and killed every single raider he found, and calling them words he read in a history book before, (communists,) just like Caesar, he had been given the wrong image on the history of the world. He trekked off to the Oregon Wasteland, which was surprisingly colonized to a certain extent. He found a Taylor shop, where he set up his base of operations for a new regime called "The Reich of Steel," a military nation that despised the Brotherhood, and any raider that stood in his way. He used the taylor shop to make uniforms for his new regime, and based these uniforms off of Wehrmacht and SS outfits. Within a year, Jackson trained thousands of men from around Oregon. They have currently made their way up to Eugene in Oregon, and are planning to rush Portland.
