FALL (Casual)

yoikes

The (Not So) Evil Mastermind
Gods used to exist. Almost all of them are all dead, sacrificing themselves in the War against Abaddon the Destroyer and stop him from destroying the World. They sealed him inside a crystal, big and blue which people believes to be the blue sky we are seeing at night. The last major Goddess to be alive, Liora of the Sun, swore that she will keep the Peace of the World. She kept her promise, watching over the Humans who started rebuilding whatever burned down to ash by Abaddon during the War.

Until Humans found the Astra. Astra are objects or items that were belong to the God and Goddesses, objects/items that have many forms. Weapon, equipment, accessories. They are all has supernatural abilities that caused the human to be greedy and fight using the weapon.

The ancient kingdom of Grast, for example, is destroyed in one night by someone who has the hammer of Avorion. People who witnessed it said that Grast turned into a sea of fire, it took a month for the fire to finally died out. There's nothing left of the Capital of the World, nothing salvageable, and people give that place a fitting name, the Field of Ashes.

Some people do use it for good, like a Sun Priest who used the orb of Aloc to summon rain and aid the farmers when there is drought.

Liora is horrified by the actions of the Human, but without her human form she is powerless to stop the action down on Earth. So she created the Flare, a bright yellow ray that shoots out of the sun to every direction every noon that will render the Astra useless.

The Humans, finding out that they can no longer use Astra as weapons, throw it away and continue to live their life.

Hundreds of years later, Liora is running out of magic. She's using her power both for the Flare and as the seal's main source of power. She's weakening, and she knows that

The Humans noticed that the Sun has stopped shooting out yellow ray, but shrugged it off. The Humans has luckily forget the reason why the Flare came out in the first place.

And as for those who remembers, or accidentally find out, they have a destiny waiting to be fulfilled.

Especially after the sky cracked, and the stars starting to disappear.

Quick explanation on several of the Gods mentioned above:

 1. Liora of the Sun: The only Goddess left in the World, she throw her human form away to become the Sun that shines upon us and when she sleep at night she became the Veiled Sun (Moon)
 2. Avorion of War: God of War, said to be one of the strongest if not the Strongest. Has a hammer that could obliterate a kingdom in one night, a myth that sadly proved with the destruction of Grast.
 3. Aloc of the Rain/Water: One of the Nature-related God, the twin brother of Calo the Goddess of Drought/Fire. Has an orb that could control water, a myth later proven by the Sun Priest known as the Waterbearer in stories.

Quick explanation about the World:

 1. Archipelago, with one big island as the mainland
 2. Kingdom of Grast used to be the Capital of the World, strategically placed right in the center and said to be built on where Palace of the Sky used to stood before being destroyed in the War. Destroyed in one night, leaving nothing but ashes.
 3. Remaining Kingdoms are: Yvoa, Arl'Vist, Kroll, and Orlea. Used to be in a great war fighting over Astra and after Grast, the kingdom that lead the Alliance, destroyed. After the Flare, they make peace and everyone lives a happy life.

The idea is that YOUR character has an Astra, that you obtained through inheritance or one way or another (buying it, stealing it, etc). After the Flare stopped, the sky cracked, and the stars starting to disappear, you will find out that you actually has an amazing weapon in your hand. The main goal of this RP, for the 1st Arc, is to gather the characters in one place. But of course, you can stray away at first by doing whatever you want.

Nation building, because together we could make the kingdoms and the cities, the rulers and the noble houses. And as the story progressed, the legend of the World itself.

The name of the RP it self, the Fall, will have something to do with it.
I have not a single clue what nation building is supposed to be, but I don't think I mind. ._.
Nation Building RPs, as previously mentioned, revolve less around the actions of single player characters, but more around the realms and nations they are from. Most often, the Player Characters are key figures in a nation, a warrior Emperor, a King, a General, a High Priest, and their actions are usually guided toward protecting their homeland and capturing or allying with their neighbors. Most, but not all, Nation Building RPs tend to be diceless, but some have used dice randomisation to represent chance or fate within the game.
TBH it's more like a diplomatic-military RP, with each characters commanding their own kingdom and such.

But i'm going to go with the "revolve less around the actions of single player characters, but more around the realms and nations they are from" part for this RP
