Ferra Nari

Location: BP Guild Hall

Ferra was glad that Avia and Serenity could make up, though, she was still upset of what Serenity had done to Avia. That didn't matter nearly as much anymore, not now that they had this to deal with. What was entirely unexpected however was Avia flipping out causing the girl to squeak in surprise and look at her with wide eyes. Though honestly, Hex had it coming! As did K8, really. K8 was just being insensitive. Hex was just...being Hex. A total bitch to be precise. It was pretty gross and horrible what she was doing to Satoshi's body. Ferra herself was ready to attack Hex if she had actually shot Avia, another guild member or not...she didn't like Hex at all really. She did like Avia though. She glared the entire time Hex spoke however, small frame trembling in anger against Yamato. On one hand, she could kinda understand where Hex was coming from. On the other...what she said was entirely uncalled for. Sure, Avia threatened her, but with the way the other woman was acting it was definitely warranted and then some.

Ferra usually thought Altair could be a bit of a butt...but did whole-heartedly agree with everything he said to Hex, except the part of experimenting with Satoshi's dead body. Luckily it seemed Altair had saved the body before Hex could crush Satoshi's head, something Ferra surely would of attacked her for doing. There was one thing to take samples and be an ass, there was another to desecrate a body. What she didn't expect next was for the body to just...vanish entirely into nothingness and a really spooky man to emerge from the shadows. She blinked in total surprise as she listened to him, the mage not quite sure what to think until it became quite clear...because he said it...that he and his organization was behind Satoshi's death, and Ferra assumed his body disappearing. She was going to say something...until Altair was already upon the mask wearing man. Honestly, probably for the best he was approached in that manner given the circumstances. She of course released Yamato to let him stand, not that her own grip was that tight, the girl herself standing soon after.

Seeing as everyone else was busting out their weapons, Ferra decided to use the materials she had left over to morph her arms into a cannon of sorts and a metal sword respectively. She listened as Yamato spoke to him, the girl blinking in surprise as the raven haired man mentioned having nothing left to live for now. She shook her head though, she knew he didn't mean it like that. Yamato cared for everyone there she was sure of it. Losing his brother...it was just incredibly hard on him, it would be hard on anyone really. At either rate, Ferra remained silent for now, entirely focused on aiding in the attack should Solus be any sort of real threat to them. Though if he was part of the group that killed Satoshi? She was guessing that he was indeed quite powerful.

The man could only roll his eyes at Yamatos dramatics "What happened is far too broad a question without specifics as within the past hour there have been quite a few answers to that, you need to be specific as a vague question will get a vague answer, Where did he go? Well, that's not why I'm here but he is somewhere safe, see? vague answer....really all this effort to..." he stops to give a faint chuckle and shake his head "well no it was comically easy in all honesty but still, the point was to send a message that while our organization is about to undergo..a aggressive expansion, now the guilds themselves are a useful asset in this but first was to hammer home the point that you are not safe, that the entire playing mages with your little clubhouses, secret underground toy boxes and believed hidden trump cards will not be the salvation you think they are...but I get ahead of myself, there will be plenty of time for that later." The man continues his casual talk unbothered by the blades at his neck, if anything the actions only cause him to express a strange almost feline smugness.

"Ah the truth, such a fickle thing marred and obscured by perspectives, but rest assure every word I have spoken has been so. There is no reason to go through the effort of fabricating something, it also wouldn't be polite, and far be it from me to have more bad blood fester, such things can bring kingdoms to ruin if you're not careful but I digress, another topic for later." raising his hand slightly to the air his fingers click as within the air manifested the name in deep purple letters "Named in memory of the mischievous little scamp, The Associates are the uncreatively named Cult of Zeref, That much should be obvious since there was even a picture drawn for you. " a gesture to the paper that had previously been attacked to Satoshis body. "To finalize that last little tidbit? If any actions are taken against them again? Well, some of your people will simply die. They are being more than generous by only removing one member for all you did, the next time I think it maybe two, and I do have a few recommendations of which on that front." It was clear the man liked to talk, though even as much as he did there was far more he wasn't saying, simply treating the encounter like a walk in the park than within a hostile environment,

Kai Zahara

Location: ST Test Area - Siren's Song

Kai was honestly pretty worried about the shockwave rocking the ship, though it seemed Elizabeth and Reiss weren't paying any attention to it. She heard Elizabeth shouting, perhaps she assumed that it was the intruder that was causing the full damaged to the vessel? She wasn't sure. The blonde girl just sighed heavily and did her best to brace herself for what was undoubtedly going to be one hell of a ride! She blinked as she soon heard Akita...shouting and taunting Wilson in is enraged state. Because that was a good idea!? "Hey! What are you doing he's gonna maul you!" She shouted down towards the direction she heard the shouting coming from, though doubted she could hear her. Hell Kai couldn't even really tell where she was for that matter! Before too long she heard loud crashes that seemed to echo through the ship below, she assumed someone just burst their way through the floor? Or was knocked through it. At any case there was only MORE damage done to the poor vessel due to the two that were fighting.

Down below on the Wilson front it seemed from what she could tell plans were being made and launched into action to take down Wilson. Now she WOULD help, but well. Even if she was a mage jumping from the Siren's Song to the ground was a very bad idea, especially given where she'd be jumping into. For now she had no choice but to watch everything unfold. Which really...as long as no one died or anything...it was pretty damn neat to watch! She wasn't sure what the plan was though did see Mera transforming and Kathy working her Nexus magic while Akagi had donned her armor. Seemed to goal was to try and beat down Wilson to force him to submit? At-least from what she gathered. A bold plan...perhaps it'd work. Though really what other choice did they have? "You can do it guys!" She cheered hoping to encourage them at-least a little.

Perhaps the coolest thing about all this, even if it was pretty bad, was the fact Wilson had just crushed a small mountain! Wilson was definitely much stronger in his current state than she had realized at first. Sure, she knew the man was incredibly strong normally, but that was a whole new level. "This is fucking awesome.." She muttered in awe.

Hey, if she might die soon, may as well turn it into something enjoyable to watch right?

Kamui.(Gin.Tama).full.2314036.jpgRyūji enjoyed the trip across Ishgar quite a lot, in spite of his expectations to the contrary. He was somewhat annoyed by how long it took the others to get ready and gather their things, but once that was finished he had very few complaints. The train ride was extremely pleasant and relaxed, and Ryūji was reminded for the first time in a while just how much he liked to travel. It had been at least half a decade since he’d left Fiore and he’d forgotten how enjoyable he found long journeys like this one to be. This was also his first time making a trip this big with anyone other than his parents and so it was the first time he could truly enjoy the voyage for what it was, without his extreme distaste for his parents distracting him. As the train cut through the many countryside, Ryūji’s attention was glued out the window the entire time. He was transfixed be the simple beauty of the many hills and valleys they passed through, in awe of just how beautiful the natural world could be. Any time not spent by him looking out the window was time he spent sleeping, taking extended naps ranging anywhere from twenty minutes to one or two hours. He was surprised at just how quickly they managed to make the trip, the journey lasting only just over a day.
They crossed the border into New Pergrande just as Ryūji was waking up from one of his naps, and he spread his arms, stretching out as he stifled a yawn. He stayed awake for the remainder of the journey, staring lazily out the window and taking in the scenery. He’d heard Alex talk about Pergrande once or twice, but he’d never actually been there himself. So far, his opinion of the country was largely neutral, but that could easily change depending on what awaited them further on. He watched Alex as he opened one of the windows and had to slap his hand over his mouth to keep from laughing as Alex slammed the window shut again almost immediately. “Oh come now Alex,” He said slyly, still fighting back laughter. “I’m sure Pergrande has plenty to offer”. Although he did have to admit, Alex really did have a point; the country was among the worst places Ryūji had visited. He followed silently behind the others as they disembarked the train and boarded the carriage, once again taking a seat by the window for himself so he could stare out at the scenery.
For Ryūji, the trek across the Pergrande deserts and through the sandstorm was rather mild, compared to the many things he’d been subjected to growing up. He stayed towards the front of the group as they traveled, doing his best to help Nathan guide their group through the vast deserts. When they finally reached the eye of the storm, he pulled his goggles down to let them hang around his neck. He’d felt the dungeon long before he could actually see it, magical energy seemingly pouring from every crack in the stones that made up the tower. “It certainly is something,” He mused as Nathan commented on the tower’s beauty. “Although I’m not sure beautiful is the word I’d choose to describe it”. He followed close behind Nathan along with the others as they stepped into the dungeon, a near imperceptible note of surprise showing in his face as the group was enveloped in a bright light and brought further into the dungeon. He smiled to himself as he watched the sudden change in Alex’s demeanor. Alex might have his quirks, but Ryūji knew Alex couldn’t resist the pull of a good adventure, same as him.
As he laid eyes on the rooms of the dungeon proper, a devilish smile slowly crept onto his face as he saw the enormous multitude of fire laid out before him. “Nathan, you should have told me you’d be treating me to dinner,” he said playfully, slowly making his way over to stand just in front of Nathan and Alex. “I would have dressed up for the occasion”. He stood there for a second, gathering his concentration. Then, all at once, all of the nearby fire streamed towards him, flying into his mouth. Less than a minute later, it was over, and he’d eaten all of the fire within twenty meters of him. It was clear just how much magic he’d gained from all of that fire, an intense aura of magic power flowing and shifting around him, and on his face, there was still that devilish smile. “Thanks for the meal~”.

Amaya Hartley

The tempest dragon slayer felt like her subconscious was on auto-pilot, clearly visible by her strange mannerisms and lack of interest in what was going on. Nathan had approached her about the dungeon and the contents of the letter she had so hurriedly delivered was now making sense. Must’ve been from his father, he sure looks ecstatic. She mentally noted, head tilting a bit. “ Sure, Nathan. I’ll go pack my bag and meet up with you guys. “ Her blue hair flowed like water as she turned on her heel and left the Djinn user standing there without a second glance. Her heart felt weird, closed off almost, as if thorns had grown around it and were squeezing it to a painful point. Even so, she continued to walk off and head towards her room, sighing at the still broken door and stepping over it. A few things were carelessly slung into the bag before she tossed it over her shoulder and hung onto the leather drawstring to keep it from slipping to the floor. Those lightweight boots were double checked for durability as she swiveled about, ankle twisting to get a good look at the bottoms before she smiled in satisfaction. Her azure eyes settled on the sword snugly attached to her hip, lingering for probably way too long. I’m so happy I got it back.. I never realized how truly lost I felt without it, even if it was only for a small amount of time. Amaya’s slow steps led her to the group now prepared to head to Nathan’s home country, a place that she herself had never gotten the chance to visit.

The trip seemed a little lonely but part of her was embracing the odd silence that was surrounding her. Alex was busy chatting with Nathan over all the minuscule yet important details. The look on both of their faces was something that brought her back to the childhood they had shared. Even older and having matured, they still looked like overly zealous boys who were untouched by the evil of the world. Amaya knew that wasn’t the case though, despite their appearances, the three of them had seen quite vile things. Then there was Ryuuji, sitting to himself which was pretty characteristic of him, though he was intently staring out the window or at the back of his eyelids. She refrained letting out a small chuckle at the thought of what was holding his attention. It was strange to see him eluding a sense of actual happiness of his own free accord. Her small frame nestled further into the comfortable train seat, legs being pulled up so she could use her thighs as a table to place her sketchpad. She began to draw once again, the blurs of the outside scenery starting to become too repetitive for her liking. A small sigh had escaped then before an unfamiliar voice broke through her concentration, hues flickering up to find the culprit. Admittedly she expected it to be one of the servants who always made her uncomfortable with their constant desire to follow up but instead they settled on a blonde haired boy.

His introduction caused her to peer at him suspiciously, hand going through the motion of closing her drawing pad from any prying eyes. A smile slowly tugged at her lips as the realization dawned on her, remembering her mother having mentioned that a new member who was family would be arriving. She hadn’t expected him to join the dungeon as he must’ve very recently shown up to the estate, especially if they were just meeting now. “ Of course you may, Darian. “ She shifted a bit so that her legs slid back down off the chair, creating space for him to sit beside her. “ It’s nice to have you join us. I’m pretty curious though, as we are family, what are you to me? “ Her lips scrunched up, a finger idly stopping to rest against her cheek as she pondered about it. “ I’ve never really been too great at traversing the many titles people can hold. “ She admitted with a small smile, grinning with a flash of teeth that looked identical to Sora’s. The rest of the train ride had been filled with conversations of familial stuff, childhood memories, and trying to get to know one another. It finally came to an end which made Amaya a little disheartened, clearly having been enjoying their exchange of stories.

They made their way outside, following Nathan as he was the best guide they were going to get in this mysterious town. A town which admittedly was very lively and beautiful. It was pretty interesting to see the townsfolk approach their ‘prince’, clearly having a love for him that was understandable. He was a very likable and amazing person, always being a beacon of light and standing out among them. Christina was kind enough to create some goggles for them but Amaya politely declined with a display of her own magic, creating a storm around her that countered the effects of the sandstorm. “ Thank you kindly though, Chrissy! “ She chimed out, voice being lost as she stepped into the heat of the storm and maneuvered her way through it. A rather abhorrent look crossed her features once she was out of eyesight, having been trying to be kind and not show her clear distaste for all the sand and overpowering smells that even Alex had so blatantly commented on. Her slayer senses had been in overdrive since the moment they arrived and whilst the city was lively and gorgeous, it had its unsightly spots as well. It wasn’t that she was looking down on anyone, Amaya wasn’t like that, but the smells were most certainly stronger for her than the normal person.

This is going to be so unsavory. “ She exclaimed in frustration, finally having broken free from the storm and turning to face it with a flash of determination in her eyes. Her fingers splayed out as her hands raised up barely below shoulder level, creating a vortex as she inhaled a bunch of the sand and air with haste. “ B-Better, yet still worse. “ Her throat felt like death and she embarrassingly set off into a fit of coughs, swigging some water down like it was her only salvation. Both hands fell to her sides then as she turned, eyes widening at the sight of the massive tower looming before them. Welcome to the life of Nathan Cross… A life that she genuinely knew she would love to be a part of, it would be full of adventure and excitement. As the others appeared she silently fell into step behind them, sticking close to Darian so that he wouldn’t feel so left out or isolated.

Her arm quickly rose up to shield her sensitive eyes, the white light blinding her for much longer than the rest it would seem, as by the time she could see they were all collectively exploring and getting a feel for their surroundings. She rushed after the group, hating being left behind. Her boots skid to a hasty halt, hands flailing about as she realized there was a cliff there. “ Too close. “ She stepped back and peered down at the many trails but that wasn’t what got her attention, it was the overwhelming heat that stood out to her like a sore thumb. “ Can’t you eat it all? “ Amaya groaned at Ryuuji, sighing at the sweat already starting to glisten along her skin, her face showing clear distress. " You're right, Alex, at least we're together. Make sure to cover me, okay? I can always count on you. " A small smile was offered then as she reminisced about all the times they'd gone on missions together. She tried to borrow a little bit of Nathan and Alex’s enthusiasm which worked a little bit but not by much. “ It just had to be sand and heat.. “ She mumbled, starting to think that maybe the universe secretly hated her or something, the only two things that irked her just having to go hand in hand. Just another test, I’ll be damned if I don’t overcome this too. Newly found vigor slowly creeped through each limb as she set off away from them and began down a path, getting considerably further down before some of the creatures started to take notice and swarm towards her.

Those hues flashed about, doing a headcount, as she came to a quick stop and snarled. “ They say fight fire with fire, right? “ An explosion of cold-fire left her body, spiraling outwards like a tornado that dared to consume everything in its wake. The flames licked at the creatures but instead of burning, they began to freeze in place. A quick motion and her sword was pulled out, glistening through the air, canine-like teeth now fully exposed in a giant smirk that consumed her face. Her footwork was masterful, body pivoting around each enemy as she struck them down, their bodies shattering into a beautiful display of ice that melted once it hit the ground. A bigger enemy emerged, the power it was releasing was different from the small ones that she had just taken down with ease. Her eyes narrowed, grin faltering to a more serious smile but it still held its playful nature. She ran towards a nearby wall, feet leaving the ground to firmly plant themselves against the rubble, rocks being kicked off as she used it to push herself towards the new human-like monster. Her small frame spun through the air, strands of hair leaving her to look like a blur of blue, momentum increasing as she used her magic to move faster. The sword in her hands was covered in a blaze of icy fire before it impaled itself directly into the creature. She stood there, eyes locked onto her prey, peripherals catching it going into the motion to swing at her. She tilted her head and the fire began to spread all over its insides, licking out from the stab wound and leaving it an ice statue that she cut down with a frustrated scream behind her slash. Her chest fell and rose rapidly, breath being caught before she slid her sword back into its restful place. “ Coming ladies? “ She called out to them, disappearing further down the path but keeping her eyes peeled and senses on high alert for any of the traps Nathan mentioned.

At this point, she was starting to wonder why she bothered.

When Mera appeared, Akita had been preparing to run in the opposite direction. She blinked when the busty woman appeared, and opened her mouth to explain her plan, but Mera cut her off.

“ So yer pretty sparky, eh? I need yer help, if ye will lend a hand. “
“I- Yes, of course I’ll help, but-“
“ Listen, I got a pretty shitty side to me that I need to let out. I need ye to fry the fuck out of me after I attack Master Wilson. “
“Okay, that’s confusing, but I think-“
“ I’ll personally pass ye, just give me the shock of my life after I get my hands on him, I will be purely primal when I do which is why I need ye. “
“Well that’s very nice of you, but I still think that we should move away from the town, I mean-“
“ I got ye guys into this mess after all. “
“I- I’m not so sure that’s true, but really we should try to consider casualties if he gets any closer to the city-“

Annnnnd she’s gone. You could probably cook an egg on Akita’s forehead she was so blistering mad.

“Oh no, don’t mind me, just trying to prevent collateral damage by leading the big dangerous monster dude away from the populated area, no no, just run off, fine... don’t listen to the little girl.. What did she say to do again?”

Akita looked over just in time to notice the monster she refused to associate with the Guildmaster throw an arm towards the mountain she was standing on. She squealed and jumped away, using her magic to help her get some distance from the flying rubble. It only took a mild redirection in the air to figure out what was going on.

The busty one had ALSO taken some other form- God Almighty, what is up with these people? Now she looked ten times as angry, scaley... Seductive. That’s a weird combination, but that’s what was in front of her, with its claws dig into the back of the monster. Hot damn, this mess was getting worse and worse, the Guildmaster’s skin was ripping apart, the fish lady looked hungry and the others that were running around blasting him with everything they had seemed to be doing nothing. And these were S-Class wizards! What the hell was SHE gonna do?

Doubt and insecurity clawed at her stomach as she watched from the pile of rubble she landed on. What could she even do? Beat up the fish lady? How the hell was she gonna do that? She couldn’t even touch the red-haired asshole from before, what chance did she even have with this one?

I can’t just leave them. The fish lady wanted me to do this. So... ughhhhh, so Goddamnit, I’m gonna do this!

She crouched down slowly, flexing her ankles and feeling the sparks gather there, preparing to launch herself forward. The more the monster and fish lady moved around, the more Akita had to adjust her angle and trajectory to hit just fish lady and not the monster. For some reason, she just knew that she did not want to touch it.

When she finally narrowed her eyes and released the magic, the little blonde surged forward, streaking through the air like a flash. She did a rapid turn in the air, to bring her extended heel straight to fish lady’s chest, knocking the woman off the back of the monster and sending the pair of them flying off into the distance, hopefully far away from Wilson.

When the pair landed, Akita ended up rolling a few feet away from fish lady, getting a couple rips in her coat and scratches on her arms.

“Ack... Think I put a little too much punch in that one...”

Ami was in the library, doing the job she had been assigned upon joining Dragon Claw. While she didn't have the capability to use magic, nor did she have any combat potential what-so-ever. She did instead have very useful tools built in that would be a great boon to the guild from a passive standpoint. Now it was her job to be the keeper of all things information related and that included but not being limited to her duties as a librarian. It wasn't long before Nathan approached her and made an offer that she would find very hard to refuse. To go on a dungeon raid with the others reap it's rewards. Ami wasn't in it for the rewards however, instead being more focused on the opportunity to learn more about the world around her and it was very likely an unexplored dungeon was just a huge fount of knowledge waiting to be learned. Ami simply smiled and accepted the offer. Before she knew it she'd find herself on a train headed for a very faraway land. A place that the others have been calling Pergrande. Ami looked out the window of the train, amazed by the efficiency of such a mode of transport. All this distance covered and not a single amount of energy spent in the process. She wondered if their'd be any books in the library covering these great inventions in more detail.

Finally the train came to a halt, the scenery outside had changed vastly. Instead of the lush green of Fiore she had grown so accustomed too, there was instead nothing but sand, sand, the occasional odd looking flora and more sand. She witnissed many of the groups reactions upon exiting the train. Nathan's being that of a look of nostalgia while everyone else's contorted into something akin to disgust. Ami meanwhile was just the same. Unable to smell a thing, nor did the sand blowing in the wind irritate her in any way. So she just stood confused as to why everyone was acting so weird. Though once Christina had made goggles for everyone they seemed to return back to normal. "This truly is a curious land! Yet something about it triggers a sense of familiarity for me. Although that information is beyond my knowledge..." She looked around once again, trying to make sense of it. But nothing... So she just decided to keep following the group until they reached their destination. Amaya and Alex didn't seem to enjoy the trip all that much, Ryuuji didn't let much show however and wondered if he felt the same way too. As they started getting closer to their destination Ami began to detect an abnormality in the surrounding energies. Noticing a HUGE fount of ethernano coming from the distance. This had her curiosity piqued.

Finally the group has arrived. She stared in aw at the tower that stood before her. She heard Nathan say what a beauty she was. She? "I didn't know towers had genders! You really know a lot of stuff Nathan!" The android wasn't even joking or mocking him in anyway. Ami didn't quite understand how metaphors worked and took everything in a very literal way. It wasn't long before they all found their way into the dungeon, being enveloped in a bright light witnessing odd abnormalities as she got to the start of the dungeon. She took in the scenery of the fire molten lava that surrounded them. "Oh my! So much danger and many hazards all around us! I am detecting a significant increase in heat around our atmosphere. Might I suggest keeping our distance from the sources?" While she can handle these temperatures as they are, it would be a far different story were she to come in contact with the lava itself. The fire however didn't seem to pose much issue with Ryuuji eating it all that a midnight snack. There was also a huge fire monster too that didn't look too friendly either. Though that didn't pose much issue for Amaya who utilised her freezing cold flames to destroy the beast in one swift strike. Ami started clapping once Amaya had finished her spectacle. "It looks like you can all handle yourselves very well! I don't know how much help I'll be here but I'll do my best!"

After everything that had gone on, it seemed to have not stopped Dragon Claw from going on a mission to take down a Dungeon. Much like many people would try to do, depending on how daring they may be. It didnt take much for Christina to prepare due to the fact that majority of her skills were through her magic, aside from her swordsmanship skills. Her physical sword was held by magic upon her back, resting in its place and ready to be drawn at any given moment. It didnt take long for the group to already be on their way to the Dungeon, sitting in a carriage which brought them to a train station and now had them sitting about the train. Dragon Claw was family, despite leaving Lamia, but Christina still liked being somewhat alone, so she kept her distance from the group, sitting by her own window and using her hands to bring her blindfold up just enough to see the outside with her own eyes. Always looking through the blindfold sometimes made her feel like she was colorblind due to the lack of colors. But as soon as the blindfold was pulled off, her eyes were always blessed with the vibrant colors of the world. The Greens, the blues, any of the colors that her eyes can lay upon. Since she was distant from her team, she was able to watch the landscape go from greens and different colors to just one simple color: Beige. There was sand everywhere. No doubt that was going to get everywhere if you fall in that sand.

If Christina knew of the conditions, she would have wore something a little less long sleeved. Oh well, the consequences didnt always bother her. Depending what they were, obviously. As soon as the train came to a stop, she put her blindfold back on properly before regrouping with her team and setting out on their journey. The others seemed to be having problems (Except for Amaya and Ami) walking through the desert, so she crafted up some goggles for the others and made some white garments to try to reflect the sun. Especially for her since she was wearing black, which attracted the sun and made her too hot. Eventually they all made it to the large structure (with the help of a carriage in a city) which radiated large amounts of power which indicated life within the tower. A lot of life. Since they were no longer in the middle of the desert, her craftsman magic faded the items that were given out and vanished into the air in sparkles. The storm subsided as well which inclined this decision and she noticed how large the structure actually was. This was going to take possibly an entire twenty four hours, or maybe even more than that just to clear half of the building. Depending if the floors got more and more difficult over the course of time. It was time to prepare for a long mission. Something she's done before, so no big deal, right?

Nathan informed the group of traps and puzzles, which indicated more of an adventure within the midst of the fighting and slaying of monsters. He then went ahead, being one of the first to go inside. Ami was quite excited because Nathan gave a gender to the building and she had no idea that buildings had genders. "Ami..." Christina said "Buildings do not have genders, we simply give them such just so it makes a little more sense. Think of it as instead of calling you an "it", we call you a "her" or a "She" because you pose as a female. Despite being an AI. For buildings we give them genders depending on the person speaking about it." the Craftsman user explained as she walked into the bright light, feeling as if she was surrounded by nothing at this point. Unfortunately, the light was hurting her eyes so she had to narrow them and kind of use her hand to somewhat cover her eyes and try to look at her teammates. That was the bad thing about the blindfold, if it was too bright, it was hard to see due to the highly bright light. Soon enough they were in the dungeon in the rest area. Nathan went on ahead along with Amaya, Ami, and Alex. Christina followed but took her time, trying to regain her vision. Her slow walk gave her the time to take a look around and since she wasnt close to her group, she pulled her blindfold up for just a moment and noticing the red within the room, when she peeked over the side, there was lava everywhere, it was hot, and there was many monsters walking about.

Pulling her blindfold back down, she came up behind the group and watched Amaya go down and slay many monsters, just ripping off the waiting like a band-aid and going full force. "Alexander, you're not going to become a pile of ash on the first floor. I'm sure you'll be fine." she said, coming up next to him in Amaya's place as she peered down below. What Christina was thinking is that they had to clear the whole room to proceed. Or even to be able to move freely. Just standing here alone was making the mage sweat. Beads forming on her face, no doubt she'd have no choice but to take the blindfold off. Clenching her fists a bit, she wasnt sure what she could do... Maybe use her magic to make some sunglasses? Hide her eyes? That could work actually... Crafting up some shades, she pulled off her blindfold and put the shades on in its place. All the while she tied her blindfold to her arm to keep it from going anywhere. But in doing so, her forehead was already beginning to become wet. This is going to get uncomfortable with all this heat. I would create rock Golems but I could create a collapse. She liked to plan, but in this situation, it had to just be Dont die and kill what you can. Looking ahead she noticed flying monsters. Another threat that would have to be eliminated "There's monsters that can fly in here. Our shots have to be precise, depending what abilities we use. Because if we use something like blasts, we could cause a collapse and make our situation worse." she said aloud to Alex. Turning her head and looking at him.

Sins Mission
The two rune knights who stood on the hill with the group took a look at each other a sighed due to the questioning from the mages, they expected this much but they would have prefered for the mages to been gung ho and just jumped into battle all questions aside. "As far us supplying man power goes we do have spies near by and tracking any enemy movement, as far as we know right now only 4 out of the 7 alleged members are here right now. But the fact is to take these guys on we need powerful mages, something the magic council lacks for the most part, and we cant march a large army into the valley due to terrain, even if we did there is no guarantee that we would survive an encounter. And as this one said" he said giving a nod to Bastion "Dragon Claw has their own things to do".

He then looked to Rayleigh "Yes you could say this is a stealth mission, if you can discern their abilities or capture them without engaging it would be preferable, though we would like as much information on them as possible" he said. He then walked to the side of the hill overlooking the valley. The valley was partially forested with a river running through it but not many other notable features besides a rather large building sitting on the far side of the valley, " that's where you'll find them" said the rune knight pointing to the building. " our spies havent reported any movement inside in the last while, and weve check for secrecy entrances so it's highly believed that they are all still inside" he said, "any more questions?" He asked looking over the group.

Viera wasn't one to wallow in despair or self-pity. She never would have achieved such heights if she was. With gritted teeth and one last clenched fist slamming into the ground she forced herself to take a deep breath. Dragging herself to her feet she looked out the window she had been huddled next to. All her men scurrying about below performing their various duties. Every face, every name, every backstory etched into her mind for all the thousands that called Blue Pegasus home. A fact she was certain she would have upheld even if not aided by her magic. And while she would raze hell for any of them she couldn't deny the favoritism she had. As she brought her emotions back to heel she took one last deep breath. A commander couldn't afford to seclude themselves for too long in such situations and she had already wasted precious minutes.

With the signature golden glow her body came apart only to reform beside the spot Satoshi's body once lay. There wasn't even the faintest trace of her brief meltdown, a fact she made sure of as she appeared beside the assembled crowd of mages. Yet as she quickly took in her surroundings she laid her eyes on their guest, arriving just in time to hear his little spiel. As she was want to do she folded her arms under her chest, leaning ever-so-slightly to the side as she held a rather wrath-filled glare on the man. Yet she made no attempt to interject. No attempt to subdue him or any move whatsoever. Her members had that all covered. Instead she allowed the man to run his mouth knowing full well how it'd all play out for him in the end.

As their guest finally wrapped up his ramblings she suddenly burst out into laughter. She couldn't help herself as her fury and sorrow bled out into the venomous laugh. She was quick to stifle her amusement as she strode forth, her fiery gaze locked firmly on the man. "Forgive me. Tis a bad habit of mine." She spoke, excusing her outburst as she came to a stop a few feet behind the men holding their weapons on their little cultist. Her hands dropping to her sides as she tilted her head slightly at the man. "I simply couldn't help but be moved to laughter at the misunderstanding you hold. What you have done is merely take advantage of our good will. We showed you mercy, we let you scurry about the shadows to do whatever inane machinations you dream up. We did this not because you are some grand threat beyond our reach. We did this because of how truly insignificant you are."

Her every word carried an undercurrent of malice. Her smile held the faint trace of venom. Her sparkling golden eyes burned with an unbridled rage. Her every fiber of her being radiating a murderous rage barely contained beneath her elegant demeanor. "We shall not suffer such a mercy a second time. We will wipe every single last one of you from the face of the Earth. History will not even remember your existence. And everything you ever hoped to accomplish will be ground to dust beneath my heel long before you harm another of my Guild Members. I would tell you to pass this along, but your absence shall have to do the trick." As those final words trickled forth her hand shot up. The faint golden aura quickly consuming her body as a sword materialized in her grip. In one fluid motion her hand reached it's apex and with an added flick of her wrist the blade was loosed from her grip almost before it was finished being made. Like a throwing knife befitting her surprise attack the blade soared between the two swordsmen before her with frightening speed. It's target being the cultist's head held firmly in place by Yamato and Altair's blades. She now had but to wait to see their guests hand.

The man simply meets the gaze, the threat seemingly expected if not outright desired to the point he couldn't help but laugh and clap "Oh marvelous, the delusion, the self-assurance of righteousness, its been quite a while since I've seen a modicum that can compare to that. My current task has been completed and I have places to be, bloody regicide and the like" the blade passing through his neck not seem to dampen his expression even as the moments pass though his tone changes to a more serious one "The Earths have already have forgotten our existence it will remember that we once lived in time. I would honestly thank you for everything you have given thus far. Though....."

As his form seems to dissipate the final words ring across the hall "I mentioned a gift, but you should always take care when opening such" in his place was no longer the man but Satoshi clutching his throat from a matching sword wound ".....Why?" his eyes showing confusion, fear, and betrayal before slumping forward towards his brother blade with eyes gone blank as the crimson sprayed across the room leaving him leaning against the man, the true body however had long since been removed and was nowhere within the hall or the town, its whereabouts a true mystery.

7658747_orig.jpgDarian maintained his warm smile as he took his seat beside Amaya. She certainly seemed nice enough, though the guarded way in which she hid her notepad was certainly intriguing. A shy artist? or perhaps an observant soul who quietly notes the events around her? Darian put aside the thought. Ultimately, it didn't matter what she was up to, as that was her business, and her's alone. He knew well the value of private hobbies, and even more the value of not poking your nose where it isn't welcome. "You will have to forgive me, as the exact relationship betwixt us is currently lost upon me. However, I am certain that the term 'cousin' will suffice for now. There is no need to concern ourselves with such grandiose and precise titles, after all. You may simply call me Darian, and I shall call you Miss Amaya, if that pleases you." With that, the two of them spoke back and forth for the remainder of the train ride, with Darian noting the fangs that likewise hung in Amaya's mouth, much like they had Sora's. With pleasant conversation to fill the time, it seemed the train ride to their destination went all the quicker, much to his pleasure.

As Darian followed the rest of the group out, he took in the sights and smells of the town much like everyone else. However, unlike the majority of the group, he did not grimace or even let a moment's frown cross his face. In fact, this place was very much akin to home, for him. Sure, the city he grew up in wasn't in a sandy desert or the like, but the slums had their own way of creating dust storms the likes of which most of the higher-born folks he was currently surrounded by would never have experienced. Even the smell was like an old familiar friend to him, though as he noticed the horrible look cross Amaya's face, he did feel a pang of sorrow.
Ahh, yes, to be in such an unsightly place and to have senses beyond that of others, especially when not accustomed to these... surroundings. It must be a terrible event indeed... Once Amaya rejoined him, however, the group headed on their way to the dungeon, or whatever in the nine Hells it was they were after. It was hot and stuffy when they reached the tower, and it seemed only Darian and one or two others weren't sweating like crazy in the sweltering heat. When Amaya nearly tripped off a cliff-side, Darian reached out to catch her, but pulled his hand back once she regained her balance.

As Amaya rushed down the trail and engaged the fiery enemy monsters, Darian watched from the cliff-side for a moment, confused by his "cousin's" flames and how they paradoxically froze things instead of burning. As a thick sheet of ice formed over the area, Darian scratched his head in dismay.
Flames that freeze? What the hell kind of backwards nonsense magic is that? He recognized at least the fact that it was Slayer magic by the canines that grew slightly larger in her mouth as she hacked and slashed through her frozen enemies. He was quite impressed by her ability to lock down her foes and allow them no chance to fight back. Such tactics were very common in the slums from which he was raised, as any fight could potentially turn deadly, and only by winning the fight can you ensure your own survival. Those that rely heavily on such underhanded tactics are usually quite sloppy fighters... Darian mused to himself, watching her footwork for a moment to see if this was the case. To his delight, her footwork appeared to be nigh on flawless, with her feet pivoting and snapping into position with near perfect precision, unlike the sliding and unstable footwork of a lower-caliber fighter.

Hmm... she definitely is a better swordsman than myself, so it is quite lucky that I have a few aces in the hole as well. Darian shook his head approvingly, before noticing that while it appeared Amaya was making quick work of the current monstrous occupants of the room, there were many more flooding from the next room over, drawn in by the noise of combat. He could tell the blood pumping through Amaya's veins was rushing very quickly, and she would likely be out of breath by the time she could come close to dealing with this many adversaries at once, even if she managed to avoid being swarmed. Quickly looking over to the rest of the group, who were oddly still just standing around and talking, Darian allowed himself a brief scowl before beginning to run down the trail towards Amaya. "Are you posh brats gonna stand up here all day and chatter like old housewives, or are you going to actually come lend a hand?!?" He shouted at them over his shoulder as he picked up speed. Noticing several patches of Amaya's ice still spread around the area, Darian hopped onto a patch of rapidly melting rime that covered the sloped path.

His already quick speed accelerated even faster as he glided down the twists and turns of the walkway by jumping from patch to patch of ice covering the trail. Eager to show that he too was far from unskilled, Darian began flipping and spinning through the air as he slid at a breakneck pace towards his kin. As Amaya engaged a rather large monster from among the smaller ones, he reached the bottom of the makeshift ramp and kicked off of the solid ground to propel himself forwards. Luckily Amaya had left an even larger film of ice across the floor of the room, though it was also quickly melting from the heat of the lava nearby. Darian hit this sheet of ice at blinding speeds, swiftly approaching the blue-haired swordswoman as she finished off her massive opponent. Turning on his heels as he approached, he slid backwards to a perfect stop beside her as the blade slid into its sheath at her side. He noted the rapid rise and fall of her chest, meaning she was at the very least winded for the moment, though he had no doubts that she could continue on with relative ease.

"You are quite dexterous indeed, Miss Amaya." He motioned towards the next approaching wave of flaming elementals headed their way. "Perhaps, however, a bit of friendly assistance would make this less strenuous on you?" He flashed a very quick glimpse of his fangs as he smiled at her, still quite impressed with her abilities with a blade. "You are in good company, I assure you." Spinning back around to face the oncoming monsters, Darian launched himself towards them with all the speed his vampiric curse could muster. Picking out another of the large monsters that Amaya had taken down near the front of the crowd, he charged at it with enthusiastic glee. He never felt more alive than in a fight, as it was one of only two ways he could forget about the curse binding him. As he neared the giant monster, it reared back with its molten fist and swung at him with all its might. Since Amaya was behind him and lacking a proper angle to see, Darian used his magic to draw blood from his forehead to form a hardened plate of armor just over his eyes. Then, just before the elemental's blow landed, Darian swiftly braced his legs, then hardened every single drop of blood in his body to absorb the force of the strike.

IMG_3824.jpgWith a thunderous SMASH, the blazing fist slammed into Darian's protective blood armor head-on, causing the ground under his feet to crack and break under the force of the devastating attack, yet leaving Darian seemingly unharmed. Quickly re-liquefying his blood, he absorbed the plate on his head and instead had a burst of blood shoot out from his hand and form a hardened gauntlet over his right arm instead. "Insolent creature! Don't you know how useless your foolish attacks are?!?" Kicking off the ground with all his strength, the crossbreed vampire threw a skull-shattering uppercut straight into the underside of the beast's jaw, launching it into the air backwards to slam down to the earth on top of a few of the smaller monsters. Naturally, this did not cause the smaller foes to hesitate even for a moment, forcing the blonde pugilist to cover his left arm and his lower legs in similar hardened armors as he threw jabs, crosses and even the occasional heel and roundhouse kick to bat the little bastards away as they swarmed all around him. Meanwhile, the veins inside his body that had been shredded by his hardened blood quickly healed and returned him to a swift and full recovery.

As adrenaline and excitement pumped through his veins in equal measure, Darian couldn't help but smile with pure jubilation as the battle went on. He hadn't been in a proper fight of this scale in a year or more, and he missed the chaos and pulse-pounding ecstasy that enveloped him as he threw blow after blow at lightning speed without even a hint of slowing down, his body's natural stamina keeping up flawlessly with even the most breakneck pace. This right here, this conflict between him and the beasts lashing out at him was all that mattered in the moment, and he couldn't love it any more if he tried. Like being back home again!!!

IMG_3486.pngIkora simply folded her arms and rolled her eyes towards the knight's response to her questions. Just as she expected from a bunch of button pushers, they weren't trying to get their feet wet at all. "Just as usual all the work is place on us. What's the point of y'all if you lack the power to handle Fiore's problems." She says rhetorically turning away from the trashy males before her. She then look towards the feminine voice that was near her and immediately was stuck. She was sure the voice she heard was definitely a woman's voice, and not some lanky blue haired dude. She simply stared at the man, listening to him talk, wondering what the hell was going on. Why was his voice like that? And how the hell is his guild mark on his eye? That can't be real? I wonder if he'll let me touch it. She thought to herself. As she replayed the males words through her mind, she came across the conclusion that he was more of the support type than anything else. He'll have to be kept safe, if we want to keep using him. She fixed her composure and stepped up to the man, all up on him. She sized him up and down, despite her being much shorter than him. She gave him a stern look with a straight face, before smiling. "I like, I don't understand you, but I like you. My name is Ikora. The Mad Monk from Fairy Tail, and this here is Rayleigh." She said gesturing over to her s-class guild mate. "I honestly don't know anyone else here, besides these two worthless dude." She says glaring at the knights. Looking back at the male, she smiles once again and saying, "I'm glad to have you here, Dragon Claw. Cool if I call your Dragon Claw? Sucks that your other mates aren't here." She says sarcastically, not even waiting for his response to her question. "But anyway lets figure just what the hell we're doing since this seems to be an intel mission, and not an assault. If you wanted to gather intel, should've been more specific in the job requests, cause my ass wouldn't have came." She says looking at the knights yet again. Turning towards Rayleigh, she lets out a sigh, trying to stay calm. "Any ideas?? Cause my magic ain't meant for stealth."

Lucia arched a brow as she was addressed, the woman shaking her head a little. "hmm...nope, never heard of her." She replied with a small shrug. The whole 'Sparrow' part did sound familiar but she didn't really put two and two together that they might be related, so she didn't even bring it up or think to mention it. She grinned as Jackdaw walked up and asked her name, "Lucia Mirari, resident Drunken Gunslinger at your service~" She spoke in a rather chipper tone and as if to emphasize the 'drunken' portion of her title took another swig of her whiskey. "This Rayleigh chick the only reason you came around, or are you lookin' to join?" She asked, honestly not having been paying much attention to...anything. Or rather, she was a bit too buzzed to focus was a better explaination.

AltairAltair closed his eyes, and took a deep breath, and walked slowly over to Satoshi. Wordlessly, he approached, his footsteps ringing crisp and clear throughout the hall. He opened his mouth to say something as he neared Satoshi, but the words never came. At most, the naked eye could only see the gleam of steel flash through the air. A small breeze swept through across his shoulder. It almost seemed as if Altair had merely shifted his sword slightly, but the magic that held the body, illusion or otherwise was already gone, banished by Altair's blade.

"You are a more worthless fool than I had taken you for, illusionist." Altair spoke calmly, as he sheathed his sword, not caring if the man was still within the room or not. "A coward, through and through," he continued, his eyes locking with Yamato's for just a moment, before he turned away. "To think that he would go as far as to defile his memory. I will make sure to have words with this illusionist when I next find him, though I will deign myself to leave something for you to chew and spit out, Yamato." His voice was calm, relaxed even, but, to those who knew Altair, it was akin to a sheathed sword- though his blade remains in its home, it was still a threat to his enemies. Likewise, his words may be still as the surface of a river, but the currents beneath rage with fervor.

In what was attempted to be a display to banish the illusion was nothing further from the intended goal, another slice appears over the body within his brother's arms to confirm fully that what was before them was a genuine article and not some magical construct. Another splash of crimson covers the ground as the man turns away and speaks. It is at this point that Katelin emerges from the side room looking around to see those gathered and the body within the arms. It was suddenly clear that not only were the illusions used were operating independently of the viewers but also multiple ones may have been layered with a physical presence and manipulation with such elegance that the difference was practically seamless.

"I believed I had already removed that....." turning back into the room to see what was a bunch of empty supplies atop a table in human shape with a faint frown "What a dreadful mess" looking upon the body that now seemed to have to new slices towards the body, a blade impaling the head and another impaling it held by a guild member. The clarity of what had happened was as clear as day with the mysterious man having played everyone for fools in his little game and left them none the wiser over than his vague words and not even a body of their friend to burry that could be found.

AkagiJust put the scarf on him. Right. Right. This was important, she told herself. This was the only thing that could save Wilson from himself. This scarf was key to ending this whole problem. She was given the most important job in this whole debacle. Or was she?

Akagi blinked, and started forwards as the battle escalated. Mera turned into her monstrous form, Akita took to battle with her, and Kathy suppressed the raging Wilson. She looked down at the scarf in her armored hand. Little Akagi. The sideshow, the one who could only be afforded an aside glance in the presence of the others.

She felt so small. So insignificant. So useless. Her only use to them was to put on a scarf on Wilson. Her eye flew to the others in the chaos. Why was she always in their shadow? Why was she never seen in any real light when compared to any of them? Her grip tightened on the scarf. No. No, a hero doesn't do what he does for recognition. If she must be cast aside, then so be it! She had to do it, for the people, for her friends, for her guild.

But was it what she really wanted? To be seen as a comrade, to be seen as a person in the eyes of others, and not just as another faceless goon, wasn't that what she really wanted?

She was struck by the overwhelming power that Wilson was radiating, as she stepped into its threshold. She felt as if overwhelming pressure was pressing into her armor, and it strained to move with every step. She willed her own magic to empower her armor, filling its body with Darkness, to fight back against the influence that Wilson was radiating. And yet, the closer she got, the heavier her body felt. It wasn't just her armor that was being affected. Her body was too. For the first time in so many years, she felt true pain. Her scars hurt, and the injury from earlier burst open, spilling blood into her armor.

She was going to die for people who never looked her in the eye, and told her that she was important to them.

Wracked with undeniable pain, she carried on, swallowing the vomit and bile that hiked their way up her gullet and into her mouth. After what seemed like an eternity to her, she finally reached Wilson, and gazed into his bloodshot eyes. Up close, his raging magic was threatening to fling her away. Akagi, the Executioner, the Moonless Knight, being flung away like a ragdoll.

Like the worn and old ragdoll that no one loved. She shouldn't call herself any of those names. She didn't deserve any of them.

Cracks began to creep across her armor. She was running out of time. If she didn't do this now, she would die.

And there would be no great loss to the world at large. No one would mourn her.

She reached forwards, and wrapped her arms around Wilson's neck with the scarf in her hands. She turned it so it would fit just comfortably around his face, just as he used to. For good measure, she looped one end into the scarf to secure it.

She did this for him, and for them. But what would they do for her?

Her armor threatened to break, and her magic threatened to ravage her body with every passing second. With her job done, her pathetic, tiny, insignificant job that anyone could do, she leapt backwards, and propelled herself away with a burst of her magic, just far enough out of Wilson's sphere of influence. Once she shot through, her magic sputtered, and her body gave up the ghost. Her armor dissipated, fading into the sky in a stream of black smoke, and she slammed into the ground. She bounced, and rolled across the dirt, the impact knocking the wind out of her lungs.

She coughed and hacked, struggling to breathe, as she picked herself up, or tried to. Her arm gave way, releasing another spurt of blood onto the ground, and she fell down again. Her vision blurred slightly, stars beginning to form in the corners of her eyesight. She grunted, and sat herself up on the ground, slowly, looking once more back at the chaos.

It was all them now. She gave one sigh of defeat, and all the energy left her body. The Executioner slumped down onto the ground, and darkness flooded in.

As insignificant as ever.

GeminiWas she late? Was she in time? What a silly question, Gemini mused. She was never late, nor was she ever early. She arrived precisely when she was needed, and those words rang too true in her head as she approached the group on the hill. Looks like her intel was right on the money. Time to do some work. "Hm hm hm!” she allowed herself a soft laugh to make her presence known to the group as she neared them. "A recon mission, and you would deny me, THE recon specialist her day to shine? I'm very disappointed in you Rune Knights."

Gemini waved to the group gathered, plastering her smile onto her face. Some people have told her that her smile never did reach her eyes, but perhaps that was just because she wasn't human. Well, not wholly human, she would like to argue- she had emotion and personality module installed. Either way, she tried to make her eyes 'smile' with her mouth, by just squinting them just a little. "Good day to you, ladies and gentlemen! I present to you, THE infiltration extraordinaire, the infallible genius, the greatest gift you've been given in this darkest of nights- moi!" She pressed a hand to her chest and beamed brightly. "Mercenary, vagabond, vigilante, call me what you will and what you must, but the name is always the same- Gemini! As in, like, the horoscope, Gemini!" She waved her hand and swept it across her chest and bowed deeply, before shooting back up straight.

"I'm sure you wouldn't mind an extra limb or two, would you?" Before anyone could answer, she snapped a finger to her lips and smiled wanly. "Ah, ah. Before you can deny my aid, I do believe that I can assist you with your...stealth mission, was it? My particular set of skills allow me to... access the inaccessible, so to speak! And," she reached behind her, and, seemingly from nowhere, produced a heavy machine-gun with a drum magazine, "I can handle myself in a skirmish. Whaddaya say, huh? Care to take on my services? It'll be cheap too! I have very affordable prices!"

Bastion.png
Sitting on the hill
Bastion coughed a little and rubbed his throat, the sapphire, clearly magical scarring on his face and chest seeming to glitter as he touched it. He was nervous and using a higher pitch, he always did this when he was nervous. As he'd opened his mouth to speak to the Knights though the short girl in monk style clothing had stepped into Bastion's space, he sort of leaned away turning a bright red but didn't fully retreat from her, the stern look had his heart thundering until she smiled suddenly and he let out a sigh of relief. "Ah, it's nice to meet you Ikora. My name is Bastion Teloska." His voice sounded more normal for his appearance, a few octaves lower but he was looking over her outfit and the moniker of 'Mad Monk' made sense to him then. Bastion's eyes shifted to the 'useless' Rune Knights as Ikora mentioned them and sighed shaking his head at them. There was nothing he could do about them but he had never liked them, his family had a few of them in their back pockets until the feud had ended all that. To say he wasn't a fan was an understatement. At the mention of this being a stealth mission though Bastion made a face and plopped down on the hill, his long lanky legs crossing as he set his elbow on his knee and leaned his head on his open palm, worrying his lips between his teeth. "I'm totally useless for stealth missions. The way it was phrased on the sheet it sounded like a raid mission. What the hell am I doing here then? My magic is too flashy and I don't have any grace to stealth around." He really was an utter klutz and he would just get in the way. He had wanted to make an impression but now what was he supposed to do?

As he sat on the hill contemplating his terrible choice a...woman had suddenly exploded onto the scene, her hair was silver and something struck Bastion about her, she didn't look quite right. He couldn't help but think about it and stared at her from his sitting position, listening to her and watching how theatrically she moved. Ah. He blinked and immediately realized what was off about her but said nothing, shifting his position to put his other elbow on his knee and tilt his head at her. His non-scarred eye seemed to spark to life and the glass one turned a bright yellow as he watched her pull her weapon out. He loved all things mechanical and had a special draw to weaponry, "Gemini is it? You've got some nice machines there. I think you're the only one who; that I know of right now, has any stealth skills. Though I think to go in full force; with the party we have, would be our best bet. If it's just one person gathering information on seven different individuals you guys should have sent a spy in awhile ago. If you've got solid enough evidence to be calling mages in, but no information on the enemy, then isn't that completely useless?" Bastion shifted his wrist so his face wasn't resting on his open palm anymore but his knuckles and the back of his hand and the look on his face could only be described as disinterested, he looked bored and possibly irritated. Huh, maybe his confidence wasn't a fluke? Though he wasn't trying to come off as an asshole either.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I never said anything about a female. I'm simply searching for a person named Rayleigh Sparrow. I'm unsure if this person is a man or woman."
Jackdaw never once mentioned that Rayleigh was a female. Either this girl was too drunk to think clearly or she knew who Rayleigh was. It was highly suspicious that she mentioned Rayleigh being a "chick" when Jackdaw never once stated the gender of Rayleigh.
"You seem to have quite the opinion on this person's gender. Are you sure you don't know who this person is?" Jack said looking at Lucia quite seriously but not in an intimidating way.
When she asked if he was here to join. He clasped his hands together. "Yes I have. I thought it'd be good to apply my skills where they're needed and make a living." He said smiling.
"You know, I always heard so much about guilds so I thought it'd be good to join one." Which wasn't true. He only meant to search for Rayleigh and form a group to confront her.

Dungeon RaidIMG_3469.jpgThe raid has begun with Nathan and his friends at a cliff side looking over at what the dungeon has to offer. Nathan was definitely surprised to see that he was within a type of fire dungeon. Luckily for him, he has a water djinn, a fire type god slayer, and a cold fire dragon slayer. These flames are practically meaningless to him and the others. Nathan looks out towards the hordes of enemies that Alex pointed out, and chuckled. "I'm, telling you know, there's definitely more deeper within the dungeon. This is merely the first-"Nathan stopped mid sentence as he stuck his arm out, helping Amaya come to a stop. She was definitely about to become an oven roast. "Amaya, please watch your step. I can't lose you just yet. " He said with chuckle and a soft smile. He looks over at Ryuji who was preparing for a meal. "Honestly, if I knew, I would've told you. But umm Bon Appetit." He said seconds before the god slayer, devoured the flames around them. Sadly enough the temperature in this room was still high. "Hopefully no one would suffer from a heat stroke here." He said softly to himself. Looking at Alex, Nathan couldn't help but laugh at his statement. "Yeah Alex, we won't let that happen to you. I fear that Maya ghost would manifest and kill us where we stand if that happened." He said laughing, with a hint of worry on his face. "Is that possible?" He questioned looking at Alex. "Don't worry Maya, we'll keep him safe!" Nathan said aloud, wrapping his arms around Alex's shoulders. "I'm not letting you out of my sight young man." Nathan said tapping his chest.

Obviously distracted by his focus on Alex, he didn't notice Amaya making her way down the cliffside. It wasn't until, he heard the explosion that he snapped his head over towards her direction. "When the hell did she get over there??" Nathan asked with a shocked expression. "I was definitely suppose to be the first one to fight something." He said folding his arms as he watched Amaya in action. "Well nonetheless she's handling the grunts gracefully." He said in awe towards her fighting style. Just as she finished the last creature standing before Nathan lets out a cheer. "Wooo! Nicely done!" He said. Then came her comment. "Ladies?? Is she talking to all of us, or y'all?" Nathan said jokingly looking at Ami and Christina. He turned his head back towards Amaya, as he noticed a monsters swarming from another cave entrance. He was moments away from darting out there to help, but then he heard Christina mention flying monsters. He stopped in his tracks and looks out in the distance. They were flying around in circles over a dead corpse, and some were resting on ledges. "Christina if those things head towards are can you take them out with some arrows. I trust you're a good shot." He said with a grin. He turned yet again, heading down the ledge, after Darian. Surprisingly this guy was fast as hell. Just where did he come from? Nathan thought to himself. He slid to a stop and watched in awe as Darian took the molten fist from that monster head on. Literally. As he watched him fight further on, Nathan noticed him using a form a blood magic. "Hmm haven't seen that in awhile." He said to himself. "This Darian guy is really something." He said with a grin, obviously impress with the newcomer. As the fight between Darian and the big monster ended, Nathan noticed the horde was still coming. "Alright time for me to get my feet wet." He said with a grin, charging towards the horde. There was a mixture of small ones and human like ones. "Shaxx." He said as he passed by Amaya and Darian.

IMG_3625.jpgNathan's body started to glow silver as he took on the Djinn Soul that is Shaxx. He drew his sword causing his very sword to shift as well, taking the form of a giant axe. Nathan grew in height and physique as his body become more muscular and tone, and armor started to encase his very body. As the transformation was complete, Nathan took another step cracking the ground beneath his foot. He pushed off, dashing towards the horde with immense speed and strength. He collided with the human like monster, caving its chest in as it went flying towards the walls splattering. Turning on his other foot, Nathan slammed his foot onto the ground sending a seismic wave into the ground causing it to shatter and force rubble and the creatures into the air. With his grip on his axe tighten, he swings his axe in a horizontal motion smacking them into the cave walls. The bug like creatures exploded on impact splashing lava around. A bit landed on Nathan's shoulder, before he whips it off unfazed. The sound from the exploding bugs alerted the flying creatures across the way. They came in a small swarm of 5 heading for both the ones on the cliff and the ones below. "Look out!" Nathan called out point towards the small swarm.

Sins Mission - A Warning
Collab with: BlacklegSanji BlacklegSanji Mr.ThunderChocolate Mr.ThunderChocolate
Veronica stood on the hill where the sins mission was about to take place, but she felt rather bored, like the whole explanation was taking too long. She looked over to her fellow guild mates, Ikora and Rayleigh, and sighed, she had invited them but it might have been better if she had come alone, she was a rather antisocial person after all and by the sounds of it this mission hadn't involved as much combat as she had originally thought. Behind her stood another one of her guild mates, Noelle, a girl who didnt know the new Veronica, having conflicting memories of the years before she disappeared and now. "Roni-chan, shouldn't we be getting down in the valley and starting the mission by now?" Noelle said looking at the girl in front of her. Suddenly the whole meeting was interrupted by a new presence, a girl calling herself an infiltration genius or something. Veronica looked at the girl with a certain level of exasperation and bluntly said "more like infiltration dumbass, making a flashy entrance like that we probably have already been discovered" she said. The two soldiers in the front of the group were surprised by the sudden entrance, one managed to choke out the response "um, uh, yeah, sure, you'll be paid 100,000 when the missions done." He said.

On the other side of the forest the ones know as Blaze and Icas Grimm walked out of the stone building, followed by Gabriel. " so you said they have spies surrounding us right? I'll just burn the whole forest down then" blaze said cracking his knuckles. The leader of the sins was quick to follow behind "No blaze, dont make too much of a scene, Gabriel portal them to the spies location" Rianmist said. Emilia also stood in the door way now, Rianmist gave her a quick glance "Not participating?" He asked. "I think I'll save my power for people who can actually fight" she responded getting a nod from Rianmist. Even though he was considered their leader he never controlled the group, each member had their own way of doing things. Gabriel teleported the two standing in front of them and with in a few short moments screams could be heard.

Back on the hill top the two soldiers were getting ready to answer any other questions the mages had when a disturbance began playing over a small walkie talkie device the soldier had. He had muted it so that he could properly explain the mission so he pressed the button on it to hear the voice on the other side. Suddenly the hill top was filled with screams playing from the device, sounding intense and horrific. Then there was silence, as the soldier looked down at the device, a horrified expression on his face, what were mere seconds felt like hours, and then "um, is this thing on, yeah, ok. Greetings guild mages, I am Rianmist, though some like to call me the sin of pride. I suppose your wondering how we know your here, well that's thing one you'll just have too wait and find out about. As for everything else we would suggest you leave, we'd prefer not to fight you here, though we will be coming for your heads eventually, so I give this one time only offer to postpone your inevitable death, these guys didn't take the offer" he says and as soon as he does about a dozen or so burnt and broken bodies of what were the rune knight spies fall from the sky above over the group. "A little gift from us to you, and also something for you to think about, but if you want to be idiots and fight then we will be waiting" he said and the walkie talkie clicked off.

Rayleigh assuredly knew that the situation had escalated. If the sins knew about their mission then the idea of having a stealth mission went out the window. There was no chance of going undetected. They had different options now. Yes they could do as he said and be idiots and try to fight but that would be as the man on the walkie talkie said "idiotic"
However to be able to communicate meant they were close enough for the walkie talkie to work. Could they find the sins if they tried looking near them?
Rayleigh paused before speaking to the others.
"So then what now? They know we're here and what we're doing. Strategically I think postponing might be the smartest move. Although I personally don't think letting them go is a safe option.
They could be trying to scare us or buy time which makes leaving a hard choice but going after them is going to difficult even if we find them."
There were certainly not as big of a aggressive force of mages as Rayleigh would like. Considering this was supposed to be a stealth operation meant their power wasn't quite enough for a full on attack.
Perhaps postponing really was the best option. Rayleigh didn't think of many ways they would succeed from here. Sure she was an S class mage although the unknown power of all the enemies was annoying. If she had brought shadow then this would've been all over. He would've known their location from the skies long ago and they would know exactly where to strike.
She cursed herself for not bringing him. She would always bring him but she didn't think of it today.

Yama text.png

Yamato's ever increasing fervour was only hastened with every mocking word that left the 'messenger's' lips. He was looking for every excuse not to just run him through with his sword right now. His condescending stare... His smug grin... Everything about him just set off every single alarm in his body. However... He is only the messenger... And the messenger knows exactly who sent the message. Yamato was not afraid to pull out every method he could find to make him spill the beans. Though even with several blades pointed at his neck the man still retained his smugness, which only served to further fuel the fire that was already burning out of control within Yamato's very soul. Viera had finally made her entrance too, her expression did not seem to betray what ever it was she was feeling right now. Though he knew she was just as furious as the rest. As she threw her blade at the man. Yamato turned back to him, looking forward to seeing him clutch his throat desperately trying to cling on to his life. Only for him to be unscathed...? Did Viera simply miss? No that's not right. He was held firmly in place by the tips of the blades surrounding him. Yet he remains with his mocking gestures and ever so smug features. The answer was soon revealed... When the man disappeared... Leaving behind Satoshi with the wound that was meant for someone else.

Yamato's focus cracked, the clones dissipating back into the atmosphere and leaving him with his eyes wide open and his mouth agape. It was like time had stopped for everything except the two of them. He watched Satoshi stumble forward and fall onto his still raised blade. Yamato's features visibly traumatised. It was as though he remained there for hours, staring into Satoshi's pale cold face. Although Altair snapped him back into reality by revealing it all to simply just be an illusion. In his attempt to reassure the broken mage, Altair mentioned he was going to have a few choice words with the unwelcome guest and let Yamato have what's left of him. His face was blank for a small moment before turning to one filled with pure agonising rage. "If you find him again... Do what ever it takes to make him squeal... I will not let my brother's murderers walk free... An eye for an eye..." He looked around the room trying to process everything that has happened thus far, soon his eyes fell upon each of his guild mates and other such occupants of the hall. Upon Ferra... Altair... Viera... Madeline... Dante... Serenity and Avia... A wave of self consciousness enveloped him before his face returned to normal and hung his head. As if in shame. "I... Am sorry you had to see me in such a state everyone... I will retire to my room." He began to move, heading towards the doors connecting the main hall with the rest of the building. Albeit at a slow pace.

Sins mission - Nel Cobalt
Nel stood towards the back of the group, he listened to the explanation from the two rune knights and the questions that followed. He looked around at the people who were participating and saw some familiar faces but not the ones he had hoped to see. Sighing, he thought about leaving, as good as the reward was there were quiet a few good mages here so it was likely participating would be a waste as there were more jobs that he could complete easier. And while he was worried about the presence of a dark guild this mission was for information gathering, not his strong suit or what he wanted to be doing. So Nel turned to leave but as he did the ominous voice sounded over a walky talky sort of device. Nel listened to the voice as he walked back to the group, it was then that bodies began to fall from the sky and the rune knights began to panic.

Nel stepped forward, "well seeing as they threaten to come for our heads anyways I think I'll stay and fight, it's not exactly like I'm a stealthy kind of guy anyways." He said as he walked up to the two runeknights, "you two, do you know the locations of where your spies were posted?" He asked. The rune knight showed Nel a map of the valley, marking off where their spies had last check in to. The valley was forested so it was hard to see the locations from the mountains but based on a general idea of where they were and the map Nel knew the direction. "As far as everything goes we shouldn't go into this without some kind of plan" he said to the group, "but unfortunately we dont know much about the enemy so the best option we have this to move in groups to the last known location of the spies, that's what I think anyways " he said. Nel looked over the group and showed them the map. He wasnt about to let and enemy like this scare him.
