So, this is only a setting, not an actual plot, that we would have to come up with together if you do not mind. Nothing I've written is set in stone, and I'm willing to change quite a few aspects if you have any requests. Please do send a message on here or discord if you are interested.
One planet and three different schools are shared between the chosen and gifted groups of students of the Magical Dimension.
The Specialists are students that attend the all-male school named the “Red Fountain”. They specialize in physical combat, wielding weapons, airship piloting, and mechanics, dragon-riding, and taming. The initial and most important objective of a specialist is to protect their home after the obligatory three-year schooling at Red Fountain.
The second group are called “Fairies” and their school “Alfera”. Magical creatures born to use their powers for good doings, their main goal being to protect the Magical Dimension from evil forces. However some fairies use their powers for evil or ally with dark forces for selfish means, and others, while not necessarily evil, stray to the dark side and do bad things, such as seek vengeance, have a lust for power, or betray their masters. While most fairies are of the female gender, males do exist, though are rarely seen, and usually do not pursue an education in the all-female school of Alfera. Fairies must attend school to become full-fledged fairies and master their powers. To do so, most fairies attend Alfea. There, the fairies are taught and trained to develop and increase their powers and to use their powers responsibly so as to help preserve the Magic Dimension and fight against evil using light magic. Just like witches, each fairy has a specific power. The magic of every fairy is fueled by their positive feelings such as happiness, love, and etc. Fairies are able to fly but only when they are transformed. All fairies know some basic, first-level spells such as telekinesis, transmuting objects, and fixing minor messes.
Lastly, the Witches who attend “Cloud tower.” The magical opposites of faeries, witches are said to be slaves to pride and work for selfish means, but they also seem to value responsible and moral use of their powers and have the ability to show compassion and remorse. It is stated that witches prefer to work alone, lest they betray each other. At school, they are taught and trained to increase their powers and to use their powers responsibly to help preserve the Magic Dimension and fight against evil using dark magic, albeit while learning things like curses and taking part in mischievous deeds along the way. Just like fairies, each witch has a specific power. The magic of every witch is fueled by their negative feelings such as fear, anger, and etc. that make them stronger. Witches are able to fly and many of their spells require darkness as a source of energy, which requires witches to learn to subdue light. All witches know some basic, first-level spells such as telekinesis, transmuting objects, and fixing minor messes.
There is also a notable rivalry between fairies and witches. Their opposed natures often cause tension between the two groups, including exclusion from certain events or physical confrontation when provoked. It has been stated that witches do not like fairies because they think fairies live easy lives.
Despite this, Fairies and witches have been seen working together with Specialists in times of hardship or realm-wide emergencies, and can cooperate after some time together. There are also significant and long-lasting friendships made between fairies and witches, even with some friendly rivalry. Fairies have the option to switch to a witch and vice versa, although this is a rare case
