Floor 1, Entry

The first floor is the entryway to the facility, it is set up as a military bulwark with multiple points available for troops to fall back to, quickly with bulwarks that will seal with successive waves of retreat. This section was originally sealed, but due to an error in the mainframe, it has since reopened to the rest of the facility and while it’s primary doors are closed, they are not locked, which allows for the creatures outside to enter easily. It is connected only to the Second floor via a single freight elevator and a stairwell that connect only between these two floors.

Floor 2, Firewall

The second floor is designed as the primary staging point to allow members of the Colorado Facility to prepare to face the outside world. It is mostly a secure “Fire” room that is built of fireproof materials with a number of burn systems which were activated upon the sealing of the facility. These systems are dormant and require retrofit to activate. The second floor is a large open room without any real function beyond the burn system which is in place as a sterilization system.

The second floor boasts an intricate modifiable floorplan that controllers in the control room can change rapidly to accommodate needs. It was designed to create an instant maze to create a breach room should creatures manage to breach the first floor. It’s was never put through this use, and is in need of a retrofit before it’s primary functions will work. It is connected to the third floor via a Freight Elevator, the Primary Elevator Shaft, and the Primary Stairwell.

Floor 3, Central Staging

The Third floor is central staging. From here there are various direct elevators to specific floors, Engineering, Medical, Military Primary, The Command Center, Core Functions, and the Cryogenic Facility. It is connected to the other floors by a stairwell and the other elevators. This room is designed primarily for orientation, and division of traffic. It contains the first sterilization room in the facility that is meant to clean people and equipment without putting them through a fiery deathtrap. It’s systems are still online despite damage rendered to the facility.

Floor 4, Central Command

Central Command is the primary brain network of the facility. It is the first section of the facility where crew members of the facility can operate the various functions remotely when the system is working at peak performance. It has it’s own air filtration, power systems, and is able to seal itself off from the rest of the facilities functions instantly by sealing its primary doors, and then raising on a hydraulic frame up the height of it’s structure. The layout of the room is a primary command chair for a master of operations, this chair has many functions, from it’s primary keyboard that is suspended from one of its mechanical arms, the command function keys on the arms, several video screens that are suspended from more mechanical arms, which give the master controller a very accurate heads up display to manipulate the system functions from.

Beyond this chair, there are workstations for each of the functions throughout the facility and several non-essential workstations. All workstations are locked out, including the primary, and require genetic recognition from the facility administrator to function due to the current lockout. They will respond to command overrides from military members in command based on the facilities recognition systems.

Floor 5, Military Armory

The fifth floor is a complex armory and military staging ground. It is one of the few floors connected to the surface directly by means other than the primary staging floor. It has a vehicle tunnel that connects directly to it, that is sealed by a number of bulkhead walls that are sealed. It’s contents are a fully stocked military armory, tooling to repair equipment, and equipment lockers. It’s currently in a lockdown state and is inaccessible.

Floor 6-7, Medical Division 1

This is the first medical room, it is fully equipped with top of the line medical scanning technology as well as several cryo-pods for medical emergencies. It is sealed off currently and requires a reboot of the main power systems to function beyond basic medical supplies. Most lockers are electronically locked and will not open without power, or command authority.

Floor 8, Mess Hall 1

The eighth floor is the first mess hall, it is a fully stocked kitchen with a very large cafeteria. Its systems are currently offline and require a reboot of primary power to run, it’s freezers are all self contained stasis modules that are stocked with enough food to feed ten floors worth of civilians for six years, as such, it’s storage floor is five floors deep and has it’s own elevator between its various sections.

Floor 9, Engineering Operations 1

The Ninth floor, Engineering operations, this section is a fully equipped engineering facility. It boasts a versatile Arc Foundry that uses 3D Nano-Arc’s to forge equipment from 3D holographic designs at almost any scale. It has a silicone arts system designed for the creation of computer systems and other silicone based systems. Besides this there are a massive amount of systems encompassing five floors of space with various internal elevators between floors. It is one of the few sections with it’s own command systems and it’s own power generator. It is offline and requires a restart of systems to come online. While it does not contain it’s own mess hall, it has a fully stocked secondary larder and medical cabinet that was intended to be used to streamline work within the facilities. The engineering floors also encompass the water filtration systems, air filtration systems, and sewage management.

Floor 10-20, Cryogenic Facility 1

These floors are the compromised section and while they are sealed from the lower levels, they are the military members, their families, and the staff for each floor above them. Each floor is a straightforward setup, there is a primary access hallway that runs the length of the floor, and branching out from this position are twenty other hallways in each direction. Each hallway contains one-hundred cryogenic pods. The pods were staged in series numbers, each person had a cryogenic tag on their Cryo-suit, which would let them access their specific cryogenic pod directly as well as their locker beside their pod.

Floor 10 is mostly comprised, nearly every pod is empty, or destroyed, Floor 11 is around half cleared, and has the least functioning systems. From floor 12 to floor 15, the pods are interspersed with empty, damaged pods. Floors 16 through 20 are mostly intact due to bulkheads lowering appropriately, but still have some pods empty due to people waking up at various times.

Floor 21-36, Section 2

These floors are a repeat of the fifteen floors above, but are, for all intensive purposes, entirely untouched. They are not accessible and only contain civilians. Their engineering section is directly accessible through the Engineering Freight Elevator that connects to Section 1 Engineering, Section 1 Armory, and Central Staging when it’s not locked out.

Floor 37, The Power Core

The 37th floor is possible the largest single floor in the entire facility. It contains a massive hydro-static power system that was designed to function for several hundred years (if projections were correct) The system is capable of functioning indefinitely, but is currently attempting to reboot, as it has done every hundred years since it’s inception, as it’s functions require it to. The system operates with seven massive hydrogen generators operating a series of self lubricating spiraling electrical engines that feed the primary system the power necessary to function, while pumping the fluid to not only lubricate the rest of the system, but also to feed the hydrogen generators. The entire system is submerged in a massive vat of coolant that is meant to keep the system uncontaminated. Entry to the system requires command authority and to be in a suit specially designed to function in the freezing environment of the system.

Floor 38-69 Sections 3 and 4

These are a repeat of floors 5 through 36, and are supposedly untouched. They connect to the other floors the same way as the others.

Floors 70-80, The Dark Sector

This is a hot-lab that is not on the primary schematics. Information about it is confidential and as far as anyone knows, it doesn't exist. Floor 70, is, as far as anyone knows, the sewage waste management floor. Reality is it’s it’s the first barricade against the Dark Sector. Information about The Dark Sector is limited. Access to these floors is only possible by a secure elevator that is hidden behind a sealed wall on floor 69. It is genetically locked and will only open to command authority.
