  The great mistress of evil who condemned an innocent princess to eternal slumber, the truth of the tale told has lost a great deal of the important context that allows one to understand the story in its entirety. A dark fey by birth she would begin as the guardian of the forest kingdoms Moors, orphaned by the humans of a neighboring kingdom she would eventually be exiled and rejected by her kingdom following a serious of unfortunate events and regrettable choices for what she perceived at the time as "the right thing to do" and even love. This began with her sparing of the ambitious thief who had come to the Moors in search of riches and eventually found herself falling for the man, though this was not to last as his greed would lead him to betray her for the favor of the neighboring king and the promise of the throne. What followed was several years of war with the king attempting to claim the land for its natural resources and riches through force, the betrayal however only causing Maleficent to forgo her former kindness and instead of transforming the lands into a dark and oppressive kingdom and the reputation for the increasingly horrendous fates of those that attempted to access the lands. These actions would cause Maleficent to alienate many of the other Faye who became sympathetic to the King's words, the man claiming now the Moors as the aggressor preying on innocent farmers and woodsmen to gain more support and blessings upon his kingdom.
  
  This would culminate in Maleficent discovering that Thief she had spared all those years ago had now become king with everything he desired, inviting all the people of the lands to a grand celebration in honor of his newly born daughters christening, including a great number of Faye, wishing to use the opportunity to also tempt several of those of the Moors to possible alliances against Maleficent. The tragedy here was should the man have reached out in honesty to sue for peace Maleficent would have accepted, instead, this served as the final insult and rejection, leading the fabled Mistress of Evil rejecting her lands for traitors but not before bestowing her infamous curse to wound the king as he had wounded her. The true nature of the curse however has also been distorted through the years to a simple sleeping curse, when in fact it extended far further, rendering the king impotent in addition to seeming to condemn his childs fate.
  
  Fortunately, as much as the dark queen would deny it there was perhaps still a sliver of mercy within her heart, maybe from viewing the innocence of the new child or another reason but the end result would be the same. The curse upon the child itself would bestow upon her sixteen years of happiness and beauty, in return for thrice fold in a death-like slumber at which point the King would be dead, though her choice wording obscured this detail "She will fall into a sleep-like death, and never again shall you see her wake nor meet any other child of yours eyes". The story from this point continues much like the traditionally told version, the King attempting vengence many a time only to be rebuffed at the cost of whatever he sent against her, the girl spirited away by the faye loyal to the king in hopes the curse could be lifted. What is not told however was Maleficent's role in protecting the growing princess, slowly cooling and finding her heart again within the girl much to a reluctance to admit this fact. This continued till the fated day, the curse unable to be lifted even by Maleficent's efforts, the Kingdoms falling into ruin, this final act results in the king's full descent to madness and eventually civil war seeing traitors all around him, conspiracies against the crown that could have prevented his daughter's fate, and in the end many turning from him much as his own actions had resulted in the Faye doing the same to Maleficent.
  
  The happy ending never came to pass, the kiss that awoke the princess never touched her, sleeping through the disaster that befell the fairy tale kingdoms even as her tome was spirited away by Maleficent in the exodus for her to awake within the new lands. (Possible Additions based on Lore)
  
  In the current day Maleficent now holds a high prestige within the magical community of Fabletown being one of its key financial backers, owning several properties within the city as well as numerous custom tailoring and cosmetic stores purchased with investments made over the years. Her primary profession for recent years however has been as a teacher much to the shock of many of the populace, carrying out the role out of genuine interest rather than an actual necessity for employment.

  Scars/ Other Facial details: He has cut on his ear making it look kind of sharp like an elf ear, he has a black floral pattern tattoo covering the left side of his chest and extends out into a sleeve down his left arm, and he has three circle like scars resembling a gunshot wound or being impaled by sharp stick in a line starting from his lower abdomen to his mid chest.
  Body Type: Very lean but bulky to display his honed strength
  Attire: Usually a long sleeve graphic tee with sweats to match and some simple slip ons when it’s cold he’ll usually wear a thick pull-over sweater with some jeans and high-tops

  General: Being rather large in size compared to the average man many people would believe he is an olympic level athlete so he tends to attract a lot of eyes. This being the case ever since he came to town he learned to adapt to it and deal with it making him a rather wholesome person. If you stare at him for too long we’ll turn to wave at you(Maybe even approach you too) or if you approach him and bombard him with questions he’ll usually answer and be patient. He wouldn’t consider himself a social butterfly because he’ll never just walk outside and start talking to people but he’s not afraid to break the silence and have a nice conversation.
  Quirks: He is rather soft spoken even though his voice is unrealistically deep, He can be a hot-head if annoyed to an extent, He tends play with his hair when feeling nervous or unsure of something

  Fable Story: The minotaur was originally born from the beastily relationship of Queen Pasiphae and a majestic white cretan bull sent by Poseidon. When given birth King Minos the minotaurs adopted father was ashamed but still took care of the minotaur. His given name being Asterion until he started acting more beast like and unstable, King Minos decided to build a large dark maze called the Labyrinth to hold Asterion. He then demanded sacrifices for the bull and even convinced another King(King Aegeus) to send sacrifices every 9 years too. Then the King sent his son as one of those sacrifices and the son claiming he would kill the Minotaur. Theseus the son of the King went into the maze to find the bull getting a string from Adriane the daughter of King Minos the help him find his way out. After hours of traveling in the maze he ran into the bull and the fought in the dark for a long hour or so. Though when theseus caught the bull by the horns and was going to attempt to snap it’s neck the Minotaur picked Theseus up and slammed on the ground and before he could recover threw him as high as he can in the air and when Theseus landed he cracked his skull and was punctured in the brain which immediately ended the battle (Yes I know it’s different ending where the minotaur won in the end)
  
  Current Background: He’s a main chef at a local diner by the large complex where the fables live he does see a few come by here and there but it’s more so regular humans that come by,though not many really know he’s a fable other than the people working there as he shows off his inhuman strength when it’s asked for or the regulars whose he’s had some convos with.
