Personality: A cold and calm girl the current Yurei is very different from her previous self when she was truly alive. She was once warm and friendly, but now she is aloof and cynical. She tends to push others away and keep her self alone. She's decided to devote her immortality to the eradication of the monsters that are plaguing her home that is all. She is responsible, industrial and pragmatic, if it helps achieve her goal and does not go against her morals and virtues she will accept anything. Never reckless she makes controlled, focused actions in everything she does. If not she risks her passenger taking control of her and letting a demon run in human flesh.
Backstory: Born in secret Yurei was pulled into the light by her father at a very young age. After the death of her mother Yurei was taken from her home and placed into the palace as the King's attendant. Illegitimate by the other lords of tBurgura her father always claimed her as his own. She was taught all that a royal would be and grew up with her half sister. However, even with the love and affection of her father and sister Yurei was still persecuted in the palace. She should have been happy with what she had, a sister and a father who loved her, but she wanted to prove she was more than that. Prove that she was worthy.
For her acceptance she was tasked to destroy a demon and bring it's head back for proof. Her father forbade it as she was too young and inexperienced for such a task. She was only six years old. However, in the middle of the night the young Yurei grabbed a series of white talisman paper and ran off towards the demon grounds. Fighting was not in her nature back then. She was weak and afraid, merely a snack for the demons to chew on. When the king and his royal company found her she was long dead. Soul torn asunder from her tattered body. Rushed off to the palace the royal court prepared a funeral and the king grieving in his room. It was her sister who stole a ancient artifact used for necromancy. Determined not to loose her sister she preferred a dark and ancient resurrection spell to pull Yurei's soul back into her body, but something else came along with her. It was that day that Yurei became a Returned.
After coming to the pained terms, with what she has become she ran away once again this time to train herself to destroy the demons like the one she holds inside her. Living much of her life there she left at fourteen and has been wandering the province as a battle priestess since then doing her part to quell the monster hordes.
PHYSICAL
Yurei has porcelain skin, raven hair and pitch black eyes. With a athletic, yet feminine build she stands at around 5'4".
Weapons & Armor: She carries a large Odachi, large/great sword, called Otomiohkami. On her arm rests the embodiment of her demonic passenger. Tamed by Yurei, the demonic passenger imbues her with strength and power which she outright refuses to use when asked. She uses talismans of holy providence to ward and paralyze demons these wards are used once Otomiohkami is unsheathed. She manipulates them mentally and project them anywhere she pleases.
Items & Personal Belongings: A ring that establishes her royal lineage. The mark is also imprinted upon her skin. Otherwise she doesn't carry anything, her demon passenger provides her with subsistence and healing, whether she likes it or not.
Skills & Abilities: Her swordsmanship is powerful, her calligraphy is beautiful and her physical ability is enhanced.
Spells & Magic: Demonic Empowerment and Holy magic channeled through talismans and some healing of her own.
Weaknesses: Highly weak against holy magic. Although she's built up a tolerance to use it, she can be harmed or killed by holy magic. She's emotionally distant and tries her best to be a loner.
