The Cinder Coast is a place of myth, and mystery. People in Creation may have heard its name, but little is known about it, save for the strange crafts its people maintain. Working with strange materials, they are able to create stunning works of art, renown throughout Creation.

But this strange place hides many secrets. One of which, is the Runic Society. The people there have managed to preserve a smattering of books, detailing secrets of craft that no one can duplicate nowadays. Secrets of Artifact creation, and of raising Manses.

But someone stole those books. And now the Runic Society has put out a call for heroes to recover their sacred texts. But who, in this darkening age, will heed their call? Who will step forward to recover those texts from whoever stole them?

Signs have been posted far and wide in the south-east of creation, and in neighboring areas. Signs that say that an organization called, The Runic Society, is looking for brave and successful agents to retrieve an item stolen from them. The signs claim a reward is in order to those who will retrieve the item in question, and that those who would like to step forward and accept this mission should make haste to the city of Ridhan in the Cinder Coast.
