- Hello, I’m back from the grave and ready to rave, once more. I’m Dan and am looking to sink my teeth back into roleplaying. You may have also known me as @Daan or @Pezji. Please look over all the information provided carefully. If anything catches your interest, please comment or feel free to message me for further details. I'm quite ready to get back into ol' grand of writing. I miss it very, very much ♥
Also please forgive me, if I don't know of any today's slang or terms within the roleplaying community. I haven't roleplayed since 2021, so my memories are still being dusted off at the moment. Thank you in advance.
- To make it very simple and straight to the point.
- Dan, 27, and prefer any pronouns.
- I'm formerly @Daan and @Pezji. If any of my old writing partners see this, please message me!
- I have a cat and take care of three plants - a flower and strawberries.
- Hobbies include playing on my PSP and reading books. If you have any book recommendations, let me know.
- Can you guess what's gonna be here? That's right, The big ol' house rules that everyone needs to abide by. Here are some of mine I expect you to follow.
- Follow all RPN rules.
- 18+ only. I prefer writers closer to my age as I'm nearly 30 now. Sorry, not really.
- I will only roleplay on site and within the sites's 1x1 threads. I will never do off-site or inbox rp's - if that's what you do then we aren't compatible.
- CST/Chicago Time. 'Murica still runs on the blood of daylight savings.
- Reply times after July will now be restricted to weekends only or during my free time.
- Quality over quantity. I prefer detailed and well thought out replies over short one-liners. So, if that's your style then we're not compatible.
- Please, please also help build the plot together or express your concerns with it and don't let me do all the work.
- No metagaming, powerplay, or godmodding. Unless the plot calls for it, it's not allowed. Please google the terms, if you don't know what they mean.
- Patience and Communication. It's preferred over going off vibes, yanno?
- No Ghosting. If you don't want to RP with me anymore, just let me know and I'll understand. I prefer this over recieving silence for a few weeks. After two weeks of no contact, I will be archiving the conversation and will block it my notifs.
- No AI. Almost forgot such an ick exists in the world.
- Here's my preferences and such and such.
- My plots contain mature themes within the site's rules.
- Favourite genres: crime/mafia, thriller, horror, medieval fantasy, fantasy, supernatural, and sci-fi.
- Plots/Ideas will be fluid to fit yours and my preferences. We shall discuss details further in messages.
- I have zero preference over any gender and can roleplay as any.
- Let me know about your triggers beforehand. My only trigger is no gore/grotesque descriptors.
- Writing samples: Jacquerie (ongoing), Ready or Not. If you want more writing samples, let me know and I'll gladly provide them.
- If it matters I have 15+ years of writing experience beneath my belt. I typically write in third person and prefer semi-paragraphs to novella, but am okay with shorter roleplays.
- Please do let me know your preferences and gender pairings beforehand. Thanks.
- These are just some plots/ideas I have running. If none of these spark your interest, we can come up with something else new. EDIT: I will be updating these in August, these old plots may or may not be here. If you're still interested in them when they're gona just let me know.
INCURRED WRATH
Lyvir, a small island country situated a little off the continent of Udin, finds itself on the brink of civil war. Without a ruler and an ever-encroaching threat, Lyvir, for the first time, experiences turmoil. In the middle of this mess is A, is an ordinary citizen, trying to flee the country for better ventures overseas and not because they’re the only oracle on the island. As for B, an exiled noble from Asmia, might be A’s way off the coastal empire - for a price.
CONSEQUENCES
After Raegar the Mad’s conquest ends abruptly at the hands of Asmia, the demoralised Viridian Army returns to its homelands of Todazur—the largest and wealthiest country in all of Udin. With no heir apparent, Todazur debates bringing the distant-cousin, A—a pirate of the five seas—or to crown the brother as their new ruler. And in the midst of picking up the pieces of the empire’s failed conquest, B tirelessly works out the kinks in the system that threatens the livelihoods of every Todazuran.
THE ARRANGEMENT
In order to quash the brewing tensions between the Elven Empire and the Human Nations, an arranged marriage to proposed by both rivals. No one wishes to admit it, but in order to continue in peace and prosperity, they must do this. The Elves have always lived and reigned in the north with respective borders to the south among the humans. Humans have always reigned in the south are no stranger to the war, but in times like now they wish to continue to rebuild their recently war-torn lands. An arranged marriage is what they propose between their chosen heirs, but it’s not without opposition from their peoples. The chosen heirs must first journey across the lands to learn more about one another’s culture, customs, and languages, if they wish to maintain the peace. What they don’t know is that there’s a darkness just lurking outside their borders, coming to dash the hopes and dreams of both species.
READY OR NOT
A is a Senior Lead Investigator who isn’t a normal investigator. A is apart of the Supernatural Investigative Bureau (SIB) - a branch of the [city name]’s police department, working in the shadows about the “gifted” or unexplained crimes that happen. The Head of SIB assigns A to a cold case that’s been passed around the office to others, the case is labelled as “X.” X is an elusive criminal that manages to commit a crime before slipping through the law’s fingers, leaving them with nothing but a paper that now lays in A’s hands. X is B, the criminal who manages to get away. every. single. time. Unbeknownst to A, B is targeting them specifically on a mission that went wrong on A’s end—one that A won’t talk about, ever. A and B meet under planned circumstances by B, who charms their way into A’s life. B is on a mission to crack that mysterious case of A’s gone awry mission while love/friendship manages to make thing even more complicated.
EDINFELL
A former knight of Edinfell turned exile, A roams the lands beyond the walls of the stone city to cast out dark creatures from beyond the void, as such is their punishment for an incident that involved the disfigurement of the city's current ruler. Ties severed and a friendship torn asunder by betrayal, lands B seeking the aid of A as Edinfell becomes less and less recognisable from its original purpose.
BEREAVEMENT
Seven years have passed since A's funeral, the incident in what occurred remains a mystery. Leaving [town/city name] behind, B found themselves thousands of kilometres away, only to be called back by a phone call. A has turned up alive and they know who murdered them and when B faces them again for the first time in a decade, A is not the person they once were. In fact, A is no one B recognises anymore. On the other hand, B is who A thinks murdered them. What's the real mystery?
VENDETTA
It was supposed to be a simple job, get-in and out. It was the largest paying gig for motley crew of six. A was the reason they were able to snag such an impossible job with their ties into the underbelly side of [town/city]. Well, it was a set-up from the get go. By who? B. As it turns out B was discovered working as an undercover agent for the FBI after their own past mistakes finally caught up to them. A landed in prison, their crew split up the second A was convicted. B was back in FBI's grasp, a field agent turned desk jockey after the immense guilt that they felt when A stared at them with great hatred. A hatred that still burned to this day.
