  As many of you receiving this letter more than likely know, it is that special time in every fairy tale child's life when their parent finally passes the torch down to them and they learn to perfectly take on the part their parent once played at our highly capable school so that they are able to walk confidently upon the stage and pledge themselves to their story with great amounts of dignity on the long awaited ''Legacy Day''.
  
  Quite a few of you probably have been anticipating this letter's eventual arrival and I bet that you are truly ecstatic to be able to finally attend our classes and properly prepare for your future ''occupations'' as storybook heroes, villains, princesses, and various other roles such as those.
  
  Anyway, I'm not looking to talk your head off so I am cutting this rather short. I will be looking forward to seeing the lot of you this year and I hope that your day is pleasant one.

  Hello to anyone who has made it this far and let me say thank you for clicking on this thread and reading to this point. Yes I did rip this directly off Gizaira's old interest check and make it a bit prettier, but I think that's okay. She'd tell me if she didn't want me to.
  
  Okay, so just to make this clear from the get go, this is a Ever After High AU (alternate universe) which means none of the characters from canon exist and the school's headmaster is someone known as ''The Author'' instead of Grimm.
  
  This also means that you wouldn't have to had watch the show or have any knowledge about it beforehand to join this roleplay.

  Rules For The Roleplay:
  
  
  • This is a casual roleplay so try to write up at least a paragraph. Occasional one liners are acceptable though since we all suffer from writer's block at times.
  • Avoid typos and incorrect grammar as much as you can
  • Keep out of character chats in the OOC area and any in the IC have to be in parenthesis so to avoid confusion.
  • Of course all RPN rules apply
  • Don't curse up a storm in IC or OOC
  • Be nice to your fellow roleplayers. We're all here to have fun after all.
  • If there is a dispute please take it to PMs or discuss it with the GM(s)
  • No godmodding and the like
  • As the GMs, Giza and my word is somewhat law so we have a say in what goes on in our roleplay.
  
  Rules For The Characters:
  
  • I'm not one to limit another person's creativity so I'm going to allow people to use characters from folklore, legends, and mythology from all over the world. Gods may not have inherited their full potential yet, and no omnipotent Gods.
  • Avoid making any characters that are crazy strong
  • You don't have to make their child the same gender as the role they're assigned. I mean Belle's kid doesn't have to be female and Cinderella's prince charming could possibly be a princess charming instead. Get creative.
  • You're not allowed to create any canons. This is strictly OCs.
  • You can create however many characters you can handle though leave some for others.
  • You're allowed to make siblings to characters but talk to the person about it first.
  • Character dorms will be assigned by randomizer, though you can request to be in a dorm with someone other than who you're assigned to. Just ask the person you want to dorm with, I don't personally care how that's sorted out.

  Terms:
  Royals - People who follow their fairy tale destinies and are completely up to inheriting their parent's legacy. Nearly all of these people are actual royalty though usually anybody who gets a happily ever after or is a stickler for tradition is a part of this group. Typically Royals are against the Rebels, however that doesn't apply to all of them.
  
  Rebels - The people who are against following their fairy tale destinies and signing the Legacy Book and are more pro-choice. Rebels usually have not-so-happy endings in their stories and/or have roles that do not fit who they are as a person. Usually Rebels are against Royals, though this doesn't apply to all of them.
  
  A Few Things About Legacy Day:
  
  
  • Legacy Day - The day when a storybook character signs the Storybook of Legends and pledges themselves wholly to their tale.
  • If a storybook character doesn't sign the Legacy Book it is believed all of the characters in that story (including themselves) will disappear
  • Another person can sign someone else's page, meaning that it is possible for someone to steal a person's destiny from them.
  
  (Lore about the school and area where the school is will be added along with the official pages of the roleplay.)
