Personality: Euri is calm and collected, has a gloomy air about him,  and often entirely serious or blunt if he has to put his two cents in, this however is just his regular demeanor, and around friends or companions he's rather talkative, and somewhat mischievous. He is very studious and doesn't appreciate those who remark badly on the works of others, much less scholars like himself, and often finds himself in heated arguments over the topic. He enjoys animals and collecting all sorts of regents and plants for his alchemy.


2 Positive Traits:  Euri has no trouble keeping his mind clear and concise in battle, no matter how hectic it gets. He's also good at keeping himself out of trouble, but won't hesitate to help his friends if they need it, and would never consider harming another for un-honorable means. He finds himself more pragmatic than anything, and keeps to solely defending and protecting.


2 Negative Traits:  Euri doesn't understand the concept of lying to be nice, he can't lie even if he tried, as its rather obvious, instead he finds himself with a cold bluntness. He also has an air of gloominess around his person, probably due to his lack of socialization and dedicating himself to his work. This however is less apparent around those he trusts or finds comfort in.


Weaknesses: Has an extreme fear of spirits, ghosts and other beings that have transcended life. He also fears loosing his research and alchemy supplies, as it's taken him ages to gather them all.


History: Euri was born and raised in Durward, Welwyn. He didn't have much care for socializing when he was younger and instead spent his early teenage years and adulthood studying all manner of topics. His parents ran a farm and were initially dismayed that he rarely if ever assisted them with their chores, but soon found themselves proud as he discovered his abilities in magic and spellcasting. He claimed it was from his studies, but it seemed more likely that someone in his ancestory was a mage.  He spent near ten years practicing and studying before he left home at the age of 17, traveling for the next ten years in effort to hone his skills and learn more about the world and his trade. Eventually he found his way to the Norhad Swords.


Occupation: Alchemist/Scholar


Life Skills: Writing, Reading, Brewing and potion making, herbology.

Clothing and Attire: Euri wears heavy and multi-layerd cloaks and classic mage attire. Though his clothing is worn through travel and with torn and singed edges. The hood is detachable and clipped onto a red scarf about his neck. Belts fasten the mage tunic at his waist, and the overcoat splits at the waste to form two tails that wrap around his outer-thigh.

The thorns can be positioned horizontally along the terrain , or set into a 3 foot wide, 6 foot tall wall wherever the mage has visible sight. The effect lasts for 5 posts unless dispelled.

So to avoid any conflicts regarding Lore of any kind in the world of Elegos, characters who describe themselves as ' travelers for plot' often are limited to traveling within the confines of the Domain they are from, in this case the Northern Kingdoms for Euri and even then, with a War taking place between 3 of the 5 Kingdoms, there would be some places he could not travel to because of the danger. The world can be considered fairly segregated at least when it comes to normal folk, you would not find them traveling internationally except for extreme or unique circumstances. There is also the matter of his proficiency in in magic. Ten years of learning and travel in the North would make him quite proficient, but not to the level of training in a proper academy can be.  This RP is all about starting small for all characters who join.

I highly recommend FLD artes have higher levels as they can be nullified by a higher FLD. Also FLD usually have longer durations at higher levels and wider array of effects.

ATK artes have instant affect and do not go beyond your initial post. Weather elements should not affect artes. In this case you would be sending a flurry of fireballs towards a target.

HEAL artes have instant affects. They restore HP to targets but not SE, which is what powers magic. It can also remove status affects such as poison or disabling etc. The higher the level the more it can do.
