Yhmera
Lok'Tar
Welcome one and all I'm Yhmera. I'm looking for one or two people to pass the time with me. Below you will find tabs that include information centered around me, my guidelines, and personal interests, and a few ideas. If you find that we would possibly be a good fit as partners, please message me with a general idea of what you might be interested in plot-wise. If you have any ideas you've been itching to share, I am more than willing to listen to them or we can maybe figure something out together. Do not be afraid to ask questions.
- I'm over 21. I would prefer that your at least over 18.
- Will play MxF (I would prefer female) or MxM. No FXF please.
- Can, will, and have played doubles.
- Will not write one-liners. My norm is 2+ paragraphs, depending on what I have to work with.
- HUMOR. I LOVE a good bit of humor. Not so much that it overtakes the RP. But a nice witty comment here or there is fun
- I like OOC chatter. So Expect a good amount of side conversation. Makes it more fun and keeps everyone on the same page.
- Won't simply drop. I'll always give a warning.
- I'm a full-time RN and about to become a NP. I do this for stress relief and get randomly busy thanks to covid.
- Preferably a long term RP with a few people. (but not required.)
- Be over 21. Makes be feel more comfortable.
- Everyone drops at some point. I'm just asking for a bit of warning.
- Be an active part of the RP. I don't want it all one sided.
- Please be semi literate. I need more than a few lines to reply to. And I understand that we all make grammar and spelling mistakes but try to double check the best you can.
I'm willing to listen to any plot ideas you have if you don't like any of these.
The new stuff
Have you ever felt that tugging in the back of your mind? Heard that little voice saying you are meant for so much more? When life no longer seems to hold entrest for one student, they find out that the voice might be right. Slipping back and forth between this world and the labyrinth.
Great-grandma used to tell wild stories about a place she called the Labyrinth. And from the cobblestone roads to the strange wildlings, that is where the student finds themself. Only not everything is the way great-grandma Sarah described. Jareth is missing, things are darker than expected, and what is with the strange swirling clouds overhead.
Worse, after making this last trip the student finds they can't get back home. The creatures from your grandmother's stories are begging for help as a darkness seems to be slowly taking hold of everything. To set this strange world right and get back home, the student has to solve the mystery of the missing goblin king.
Currently doing this one.
When rivers run dry and the stars fall from the sky the horned one will return to reign in an era of death.
An oracle takes off on a perilous journey after receiving a vision. According to the vision, the key to saving not only her kingdom but the rest of the world would be found in another land. One in which the oracle knows little about.
Unfortunately once there, the oracle finds little help or assistance to be found. Never seeing a slave trade before, the oracle goes and watches. Maybe it's out of a lack of understanding, pity, or fate. But the oracle ends up with one of the slaves. Whether the slave believes the oracle or not, the slave finds themself in the unwanted position as guide and bodyguard.
As the unlikely pair track across the lands, looking for the clues to the prophecy, they find themselves under constant attack. Just as the oracle made it a personal mission to stop the dark vision from coming true. A cult of the dark god Dareyr, a god of death and destruction, has made it their personal mission to see the prophecy fulfilled and the two killed in the process.
(This idea needs some work still)
Stories were once so simple, they had beginning, a middle, and an end…
In the beginning, there were dragons. The physical embodiment of raw power and speed. Eternal, forever living in an endless limbo of black, grey, and white. For eons, they were the masters of the world. Time was non-existent, and all lesser beings were servants to the mighty serpent's rule.
Mortal races soon feared them and had enough of the dragon’s oppression, seen as nothing less but cattle for the dragons to do with what they willed; the seeds of rebellion grew strong. However, was only because of the actions of a few outlandish dragons. Still, none dare had the courage or strength to face the great beasts.
Until one being arrived to champion mortals against the dragons; one who had the very strength and powers of the mighty beasts within them. The mortal races rallied behind this chosen one, this Arisen mortal. With the Arisen leading the armies of the lesser beings, the mortal races challenged the dragons and fought for their freedom. They didn't just accuse the few but all the dragons.
For hundreds of years they fought; mortals matching the dragon’s limitless powers with superior numbers and with the powers of light and dark. Two halves to a whole; one that trump the dragons grey existence. In the end, after countless continents were lost, and entire populations were wiped out, mortals rose their flags in victory, and the dragons were no more.
In the end, mortals took the lands of dragons and built kingdoms of their own. In time, they grew together, forming alliances, and rivalries. Living, dying, fighting and coming to peace time and time again. And soon the dragons were all but forgot.
Until one chance day, when the skies erupted in a great light. A portal from the heavens, and from it a lone dragon descended and brought fear once more. The Arisen hero who had championed mortals had long been buried, their bones turned to dust. When all seemed lost, the Dragon did something, which was unexpected. It wrought fire and flame to all that crossed its path. But when able it chose to run instead. And just as none seemed to be able to stand against the dragons, one rose up with the power of the Arisen. One was able to stand toe to toe once more with the great beast.
To this day, this cycle has been repeated over and over again. Sometimes in decades sometimes in millennia’s. The dragon’s coming is never the same. But for every single one defeated by the chosen Arisen, another comes, to choose the next champion to do battle. This cycle, known as the Romance of the Dragon, has long become tradition that none dare consider questioning. Why is it that the dragon is reborn time and time again? Every victory, every defeat, the dragon comes again, every hero risen or fallen, the dragon comes again... what is the beast trying to accomplish? These questions long have gone unanswered. However, a new cycle is to come. One that will call into question the very fabric of life itself. Life and Dark, eternity and time.
The Kingdom Of Dreali held a shaded history. In the old days, a cruel tyrant of a King named Zaion enslaved his own people. He forced men into the army to help conquer new lands and women were little more than his toys to play with. No one was safe from his wrath. Not even his most loyal of subjects was shown mercy. Tired of the king’s cruelty, the people rose up and revolted. The king fled taking a male child with him. Although everyone who served the tyrant willingly was killed, the king and child were never found. To insure that this would never happen again, Dreali was split into four regions. Each with a Duke and Duchess that ruled over the area. Yearly all of the nobility would gather to meet and talk about the wellbeing of the kingdom.
The region to the north was known as Spellmont. Some of the strongest magic users come from this area. It was mostly grasslands and hills, with a few outlining mountains. Winterash was to the south. It’s the coldest region and most of the mined goods come from that region. Dorden was to the east with lush forests and meadows. Turrelon was to the west and was mostly deserts. The army’s of Dreali recruited from all four regions and rotated annually so they could train in all environments.
Years passed and Dreali prospered and bloomed. Granted that the four regions didn’t always get along, but no one suffered as they once did. The stories of the cruel ruler slowly faded into myth along with the reasons behind why the kingdom was split. But it didn’t matter much to the people. For now was the age of peace.
It was spring when the first attacks came. A new force rising up and attacking the rulers of each land. Only one young heir lived and was hidden away from the rest of the world. But the leader of this dark force is after that heir. And no one knows why.
The Old Ideas
Idea 1
Character (X) was a weapon for the army. Never had a childhood, never knew life outside of killing. (X) Finds that now the war is over trying to find a place in it can be rather hard. Especially after (X) lost________ (If I play X I'll have lost my sight). Character (Y) Knew the commander and had met (X) in passing. Character (Y) was asked to take (X) in and teach them how to be apart of the world and to live their life now that they finally have a life too live.
This will be a slice of life, romance(?), reliving the past, learning to deal with one's personal trauma.
Idea 2 (currently playing)
Something has gone horribly wrong in Character (X) life. (Lost their spouse, lost their family. Whatever it is was really bad and you can't get over it.) Just when (X) is ready to throw in the towel, end their life, they find something intriguing. In a catalog for the most eccentric of people. In the very center, where it lay open and waiting for someone to see is a magical kingdom for sale. It promises knights, dragons, fairies, and adventure. A new life. But once there, (X) finds out that everything isn't as it seemed. Yes, the Kingdom was real. But there is a catch and a curse. (character (Y) can be someone in the court, or someone appointed to teach (X) about the new world and so on. Character (Y) is very open and can be just about anything.)
This is comedy, romance(?), fantasy
Idea 3
Character (X) is a deformed creature of a warlock, dark mage or something like that who lives in a tower and surrounds themselves with research. Often times seen as cold, cruel, and definitely scary. Character (Y) finds themselves working for X. Living with X for whatever reason. Y is a (slave, apprentice, hired help to keep up the place?) X no longer knows how to relate to the world. Y simply doesn't care about living or theirself for whatever reason. Slowly together they both find a renewed reason to live and enjoy life.
This is dark, fantasy, romance(?), slice of life (?), dark comedy (?)
Idea 4
After a tragic event character (X) dies. But they don't stay dead and soon find themselves at the hospital with no memory as to how/what happened. Everything about themselves is a mystery. They have friends that are willing to help (X) to get back on track. But something just isn't right. They feel like something is off. It isn't long before accidents start happening. A plant pushed off a roof, a car that passes a little too close. Character (Y) for what ever reason is trying to kill (X) and it's up to (X) to find out why. Character Y can be something like Death, a reaper, or a person from X's life.
This is horror, dark comedy,
Idea 5
War between the elves and the orcs (willing to negotiate on race) have reached catastrophic levels. To try and find a middle ground and bring some sense of peace an exchange has been proposed. Each group would exchange one person. An orc would live with the elves and an elf with the orcs. Only peace isn't so easily bought as the individuals try to fit in where they aren't wanted.
This is Fantasy, war / combat, romance(?)
Idea 6
Dark elves have a long history of hate, manipulation and deceit. But as a new elf takes the thrown, they try to start changing things for the better. Only not everyone is liking the idea of dark elves trying to step out into the light. Character (X) on the way to peace talks finds themself neck-deep in trouble. Character (Y) (can be a few people. This is a flexible part ) is the Dark elf's bodyguard? Or maybe the assassin trying to kill X? Or the ruler of another race trying to force X in to marriage for Y's gain?
This is fantasy, romance (?), possible slice of life, dark
Idea 7 (fandom alice in wonderland)
Alice wakes in an asylum with character (X) as her doctor. It seems that her house was burnt and her family killed. But Alice has no memory of what happened. But at night in her dreams she sees fantastic and strange people. But as her treatments continue she starts seeing the people from her dreams all around her. To top things off it's starting to look like Alice was the one who might have started the fire and committed the murders. But only time with tell as the mystery is unraveled.
horror, mystery, monsters, murder, fairy tail
Idea 8
Character (X) is still young and not fully trained. Eager for a taste of adventure (X) goes off exploring on their own. Only to run into a group of trappers after a dragon. Character (Y) is a _______ dragon trying to get away from a group of hunters once again. (X) charges in only to find themselves out manned and out skilled. Only together do X and Y escape and find themselves on a very odd journey.
